Abstract

Parents are the first home and environment for children. Given the importance of the role of the family in children's education, the government issued a policy in Permendikbud No. 30 of 2017 concerning Family Involvement in the Implementation of Education in PAUD units. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate the implementation of every policy made. With the implementation evaluation, we can assess how the implementation process has been so far and what needs improvement and maintenance. This research is qualitative research. In this qualitative research, a literature study was conducted by examining various existing literature from print media and the internet. In addition, the research was conducted by evaluating policies with the CIPP evaluation model. The research result showed that Permendikbud No.30 2017 have been implemented on input, process and product contextually and execellent.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the teacher's lack of awareness of gross motor development of the upper limbs in children, most teachers only provide stimulation to the gross motor development of children's lower limbs such as running, and jumping. Gross motoric upper limbs need to be developed because by training gross motoric upper limbs in children can train children's focus on objects, and can train children's hand-eye coordination. The aims of this study were: to determine the effect of basketball games on the gross motor development of the upper limbs in Dharma Wanita Kindergarten, to determine the influence of bowling  on the gross motor development of the upper limbs at Ichlashul Amal Kindergarten, to determine the mutual influence between the games. basket ball and bowling on gross motor development of the upper limbs in grade B children. This study used a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design type of research. The population in this study amounted to 30 children from 3 schools. The results of the ANOVA test obtained sig 0.000 < 0.05 which means H1 accepted andHo rejected and the post hoc obtained sig 0.558 > 0.05 which means that there is an influence from both games to develop gross motor skills of upper limbs in grade B children.

Abstract

The teacher manages the class from the beginning of the opening activity to the closing activity. This includes planning, setting up the classroom, accurately allocating learning time, and fostering a welcoming learning environment. This study looked at group learning-based classroom management using audio-visual materials. This study used descriptive qualitative research as its methodology. Data gathering methods using observation, documentation, and interviews. The findings of this study show that DWP 5 Besuki's classroom management is relatively good, taking into account elements like teachers, student character, and learning material. Using audio-visual materials during group lessons can assist students in focusing on their studies and help teachers run more creative assignments.

Abstract

There are still many parents in Indonesia who discipline their children in the wrong way, one of which is verbal violence. The purpose of this study was to find out the forms of verbal violence, parents' educational and economic background. As well as to find out how the ability of children to interact with their social environment. The research method used in this study is a qualitative case study. The research subjects were families who had daughters aged 5 years and 8 months in Joyoakan, Serengan, Surakarta District. Data collection techniques using direct and non-participant observations and interviews. Data analysis techniques by collecting data, perfecting data, processing data, compiling data analyzing the data obtained and concluding research results. Meanwhile, to check the validity of the data, researchers used the source triangulation technique. The results of this study describe when and the forms of verbal violence that parents did against "J". The background of the parents is ultimately seen in the parenting style and causes of verbal abuse in children. Seeing how communication and closeness is built between parents and "J" and we can see how the child's response after getting verbal violence when in a social environment.

Abstract

Learning media is one of the learning tools that teachers need to be able to select, use and apply media that represents areas that cannot be compromised during the process. Audiovisual media has the potential to make learning more interesting, making children enthusiastic about learning. The aim of this research is to determine the use of PPT audiovisual learning media to introduce animal names in English at POCENTER. The qualitative research method is research carried out through observation. The post-positivist lens is used for empirical analysis under well-defined experimental conditions. The results of this research are that Pocenter has started using PowerPoint for teaching. Teaching media is one of the tools used in the learning process which has important lessons to be learned from the teaching method. With this media, when the learning objectives have been achieved, the transmission of knowledge and education can run smoothly. Therefore, educators need to understand each media that will be used to carry out teaching and learning activities effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of using wooden block educational tools in enhancing the creativity of early childhood children through an interactive approach at TK PPI Kota Payakumbuh. An experimental research method was employed involving an experimental group engaged in playing sessions with the educational tools and a control group without any specific intervention. Data were collected through observations, interviews, and pre- and post-intervention creativity scores. The findings revealed a significant increase in the creativity of early childhood children in the experimental group after the playing sessions, with the average creativity score escalating from 2.8 to 4.2. Conversely, the control group exhibited a lower increase, from 2.7 to 3.1. Observations indicated that children in the experimental group displayed higher engagement in play, developed creative ideas, and engaged in more active interactions with their peers. The utilization of wooden block educational tools within an interactive approach effectively boosted the creativity of early childhood children. Direct interaction with these tools stimulated the children's imagination and abstract thinking abilities. The interactive approach also facilitated the development of problem-solving skills, associative thinking, and self-confidence. The implications of these results are crucial for early childhood education. Educators can leverage these tools to enhance children's creativity through social interaction and creative exploration. Further studies are necessary to gain a more comprehensive understanding of the role of educational tools in fostering creative learning among early childhood children.

Abstract

The process of cultivating character in early childhood is not easy and requires efforts with various strategies to produce results. Miftahul Huda Kindergarten is one of the best educational institutions and is most popular with the local community. Among the attractions is character building, which is carried out at Miftahul Huda Kindergarten with religious-based activities and learning methods. The aim of this research is to describe methods for forming early childhood character through religious-based activities and learning methods. This research method uses descriptive and qualitative methods. Data sources were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Interview informants were school principals, teachers, and student parents. The results of the research are methods for forming character in early childhood that are used by teachers through religious activities such as praying with the teacher, sharing with each other, getting used to saying polite things, loving each other, and so on. Then the teacher also uses the habituation method, the storytelling method to strengthen character, and the central learning method to maximize children's competence. Furthermore, to optimize character development, teachers also give assignments at school and at home, give consistent advice, and increase children's vocabulary by inviting them to read books. In conclusion, the formation of children's character through religious-based learning activities and methods makes young children familiar with Islamic character values, inspiring and imitating them in their daily behavior.

Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze Islamic religious education for early childhood in the family environment. This research is a narrative literature review using an overview article. The data analysis technique used is conduct a search, identify keywords, review abstracts and article and document results. The results of this research are Islamic religious education material for early childhood in the family environment, namely faith education, worship education, and moral education. Meanwhile, Islamic religious education methods for early childhood in the family environment are example, advise, customs attention, training, experience, games, songs, stories, praise, punishment, targhib and tarhib.

Abstract

This research aims to describe the role of parents in early childhood character education. In this research, the method used is literature study. In this method, the data collection system is carried out by collecting data based on the results of research that has been carried out previously which is analyzed and then concluded from the results of the research in order to answer existing problems. Based on the results of a literature study regarding the role of parents in early childhood character education, children's character education is very important for developing children's character, at this time children will imitate their parents' behavior because parents are the first people who children can follow and can influence the formation of children's personalities. The role of parents in children's character education shows that parents set a good example for children, are disciplined and responsible, supervise and direct children to be selective in their relationships

Abstract

Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) encompasses neurobehavioural changes that may affect the child's development, including inattentiveness, hyperactivity, or impulsivity. Before this, without even knowing, they were troublemakers as they acted in different possible ways to get attention. In the latest update, both Attention Deficit Disorder and ADHD are becoming a proposed health condition in the psychiatric field. Early detection suggested that lack of concentration and focus, memory deficit, and being disorganised are signs and symptoms of ADHD. It does affect daily routines, job employment, and social interactions as ADHD becomes more severe than ever. The prevalence of ADHD is becoming more profound in local community settings and global stage population. Therefore, in Islam, shaping and nurturing them to be who they want to be and life is what you make of it. Thus, this review focuses on brief Islamic perspectives of the problem, definition and diagnosis of ADHD, and treatment options and management available for ADHD.
