Abstract

This study aims to describe the certification of educators, pedagogic competencies and professional competencies and to measure whether or not there are differences in pedagogic competence and professional competence between teachers certified educators and teachers have not yet certified educators This research includes research surveys with quantitative approaches that use inferential statistical analysis with non-parametric statistical tests that are different tests using rumu Test Mann Whitney. The population and samples in this study are all teachers who are either certified or who have not been certified. The data collection method uses the questionnaire as the primary data and is supported by interviews and documentation as secondary data. The results of the study showed that for pedagogic competencies and professional competencies teachers included good categories, while in the test results U Mann Whitney obtained U Count = 182.5 and U Table = 136. Which means that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected because the U Count ≥ value rather than U Table means that there are differences in pedagogic competencies and professional competencies between educator-certified teachers and teachers who have not been certified educators, this indicates that educator certification has had an influence on the improvement of pedagogic competencies and professional competencies although not very large.

Abstract

The greater the family income the greater the chance of the family providing educational facilities for their children. If the level of income of parents is relatively good then all children's needs for school facilities and infrastructure will be met, so it is expected that the learning atmosphere of students is quite accommodated which in turn will be able to improve their learning achievement in school. The population in this study is the parents of students. sampling techniques using random sampling cluster techniques.Based on the results of the study, from the list of r-table values product moment in the observation case as much as 42 (N = 42) and with a degree of significance 5% known r-table value of 0.304. If this is compared to the R-count gain in this study of 0.857, then it is clearly known that the coefficient of r-count correlation is much greater than the r-table value at the level of 5% significance. further means that the nil hypothesis (H0) in this study should be rejected and vice versa the alternative hypothesis (Ha) whose proposition reads: It is suspected that there is a positive relationship between "Socioeconomic condition of parents and student learning achievement in IPS subjects" should be accepted because it has been proven convincingly from the calculations and has also been supported by empirical data (observations).

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has resulted in learning that was previously carried out face-to-face into distance learning (PJJ). This causes students to get used to using gadgets for other activities, so that moral values in the form of self-discipline and responsibility of students can be controlled directly, while during distance learning the teacher has difficulty controlling it optimally. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of distance learning on the moral values of SMPN 1 Turi students. This study uses a quantitative method, the sample used by the researcher is a random sample of 32 respondents. The test technique uses simple linear regression analysis, the results obtained from the calculation of t count with t table with an error rate of 5%, it is known that t count is 3.858 greater than t table 2.042 so it can be concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. There is an influence between distance learning on moral values.

Abstract

In learning English, speaking is one of the most important skills for students. Especially for students who still have strong feelings, these students will have difficulty learning to speak English.Talking is about putting ideas into words about perceptions, feelings and intentions to make others catch the message conveyed. From the results of the paired sample t test analysis shows that sig. the value is 0.000. Lower than the significance level (α) = 0.05 with degrees of freedom (df) = N-1 and the number of subjects (N) is 20 students. According to the value of sig. (2-tails) is 0.000. Given the basic concept of testing the hypothesis that if sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than (α) = 0.05, meaning that the hypothesis (H1) is accepted while the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected. Thus, it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of video media on the speaking skills of class XII students of MA Al-ihsan Deket Lamongan

Abstract

From the results of the student evaluation, there were 8 students out of a total of 17 students or 47.1% of students who had not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM), which was 70 with an average score of 69.7. The aims of this study were (1) to determine the application of the guided discovery learning model with a scientific approach to improve learning activities and outcomes; (2) To find out the increase in student activity and learning outcomes through guided discovery learning models with a scientific approach. This research uses two cycles of action research. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The target of this research is the fifth grade students of SDN Wajik for the academic year 2019/2020. The data obtained in the form of formative test results, observation sheets of teaching and learning activities and interviews. The results of the research application of the guided discovery learning model using a scientific approach have a positive effect on increasing learning activities and outcomes, and this learning model can be used as an alternative in thematic learning.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Community of Inquiry (CoI) model assisted by social media on problem-solving abilities. This type of research is a Quasi Experiment with a Non-Equivalent Control Group Design. As an Experiment Class is the Civics Education Study Program, the treatment of the CoI learning model is assisted by Social Media, and as the Control Class is the Economic Education Study Program with the treatment of the CoI learning model without assistance. The data were collected using the test technique and observation sheet and analyzed with a t-test at a significance level (α) = 0.05. A value of 3.585 was obtained that the equal variances were not assumed to have a sig. 0.001 is less than 0.05, so Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted. Thus, there is a significant influence between the CoI learning model assisted by social media on problem-solving in educational policy courses.
