Abstract

Promotion is an important factor in guests' decision to stay. Besides that, price is an aspect that is clearly visible to consumers and is also a factor in influencing consumers' decision to stay. Plataran Ubud Hotel & Spa has carried out several promotions to increase guests' interest in staying, but the number of rooms sold is still decreasing. The decrease in the number of rooms sold was also due to indications of high room prices for consumers. Plataran Ubud Hotel & Spa receives comments and reviews written by guests on the TripAdvisor, Booking.com and Google Review sites regarding high prices. This research aims to determine the influence of promotions and prices on guests' decisions to stay at Plataran Ubud Hotel & Spa. The research method used is quantitative correlational with data collection techniques, namely observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. This research used 40 respondents using the Quota Sampling sampling technique and the sample size was based on the Hair et al. The results of the research show that there is a partial positive and significant influence between promotion on guests' decision to stay, there is a partial positive and significant influence between price on the decision to stay, and there is a simultaneous positive and significant influence between promotion and price on the decision to stay at Plataran Ubud Hotel & Spa.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the use of learning media in the teaching and learning process of Islamic Religious Education (PAI). Learning media is a tool that can facilitate the delivery of material and improve learners' understanding. In the context of PAI, learning media has an important role to visualize abstract concepts and attract students' interest in learning. This research uses a qualitative approach with observation, interview, and documentation study methods. Data were collected from schools that implemented PAI learning media, both visual, audio, and audiovisual media. The results showed that the use of PAI learning media can increase interest in learning, facilitate understanding of the material, and create a more pleasant learning atmosphere. However, there are some obstacles such as limited facilities and infrastructure, as well as teacher competence in using learning media. This study provides recommendations for improving facilities and teacher training in optimizing the use of PAI learning media. The findings of this study contribute to the development of more effective and interesting learning strategies in PAI subjects.

Abstract

Dyslexia is a form of difficulty understanding letters or words in writing. Dyslexia disorders in children are influenced by several factors. This research uses the ABC E-book to help dyslexic students recognize capital and small letters and spell syllables and there are pictures to make it easier for students to learn to arrange letters. E-books or electronic books are books in digital format that contain text and images. This type of research uses development research or Research and Development (R & D). The development model used is ADDIE (Analyze Design Develop Implement and evaluate). The learning outcomes of dyslexic students increased after the pretest and posttest were carried out. The pretest was carried out before implementing the ABC E-book media and produced an average score of 67.5% from 4 dyslexic students. After using the ABC E-book, which was designed to make reading and recognizing letters easier, the posttest showed an increase in the average score to 90%. shows that the ABC E-book media is effective in improving Indonesian language learning outcomes for dyslexic students. This research aims to improve the learning outcomes of dyslexic students through the development of ABC E-book media, especially in Indonesian language material Chapter 8 "Hobbies that Become Achievements". After carrying out several processes using the ADDIE model, the ABC E-book media makes it easier for dyslexic students to learn and increases their enthusiasm for reading.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning. The development of PAI teaching materials is not only focused on knowledge about the Islamic religion but also on various elements of life such as morals and morals of students because the current challenges are the increasingly rapid flow of globalization or science and technology which is inversely proportional to the decline in IMTAQ, and this is a serious challenge to teachers in developing Islamic Religious Education teaching materials. This research is library research (Library Research) which uses a qualitative approach by collecting data in the form of literature studies and using content analysis methods. The research results show that learning will be more interesting for students if the development of teaching materials is in accordance with their needs, does not make them bored, increases learning motivation, and becomes a solution for students in developing their abilities, both in terms of science and technology and faith and piety.

Abstract

Learning that uses creative new methods and prioritizes critical thinking, active involvement and active participation of students in the learning process. This learning model aims to develop students' ability to think independently, creatively and innovatively, so that they can generate new ideas, solve problems and apply knowledge in real life. From this background, the aim of this research is to provide an explanation of innovative learning models in PAI (concepts and various types of innovative learning models in PAI). This research is a type of library research (Library Research) which uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods, the data collection technique is a literature study, and the data analysis uses the content analysis method (Content Analysis). The results of the research show that the existence of an innovative learning model that can be applied when learning PAI will create motivation to learn PAI, whereas initially learning PAI was monotonous with conventional models only in the classroom, for example by using the CTL model, PAI learning can be carried out outside the classroom. , the effect of which will provide an interesting impression when PAI learning is carried out, because students are given more freedom to express themselves. In this case, there are several types of innovative learning models in Islamic Religious Education, namely: Discovery Learning, Problem-Based Learning (PBL), Problem Solving, Contextual, PAIKEM, and Cooperative.

Abstract

Education is something important in life, one of which is college. However, looking at the current real conditions regarding higher education, not many people want that. Adolescence is a period of transition between childhood and adulthood. The age limit is not clearly defined, so many experts differ in determining the age range. External factors that cause teenagers' lack of interest in continuing their education to higher education are economic limitations/expensive educational costs and social environmental factors. The expensive cost of education, especially studying in the city, which of course requires a lot of money, causes many parents not to send their children to college.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe, understand and identify the communication abilities and impacts of Integrated Ahlussunnah PP Santri Students in Lubuklinggau City. This research is qualitative research with data collection methods using observation, interviews, and documentation methods. The results of this research include: (1) The communication skills of the Integrated Ahlussunnah PP students in Lubuklinggau City are still relatively low. To improve communication skills, extra-curricular activities are held, such as OSIS, art performances, muhadloroh, PMR and so on, which also help build the communication skills of students at PP Ahlussunnah Terpadu Lubuklinggau City; (2) The implementation of group guidance at PP Ahlussunah Terpadu Lubuklinggau City is carried out once a week, with the stages of introduction, implementation, and evaluation. Group guidance is carried out using group discussion and question and answer methods, while the themes to grow students' courage in communicating are by giving tasks to be an MC, give a speech, tell a story (story telling), debate and organize and so on; and (3) The impact of group guidance on the communication skills of the Integrated Ahlussunnah PP students in Lubuklinggau City is very positive and significant.

Abstract

The lack of counselors in tertiary institutions is a problem in the implementation of counseling service programs. Lack of support from each tertiary institution, both from the leadership of each tertiary institution, inadequate use of socialization regarding the Guidance and Counseling Service Unit, budget funds and basic implementation provisions that are not yet adequate and are known to be problems. The low level of student awareness also influences the management of guidance and counseling at each university to be less than optimal. Many students do not take advantage of the guidance program with their respective academic supervisors.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education is an educational institution that develops six aspects of development, one of which is cognitive development. Stimulation of cognitive development in early childhood includes recognizing the concept of numbers, counting and stating the concept of numbers. However, the conditions currently occurring in the field are the demands of parents who want to see their children be able to read, writing and arithmetic because they are worried that their children will not be accepted into favorite elementary schools which require passing the reading, writing, and arithmetic test for prospective students. This research is classroom action research, which was conducted in 2 cycles. The subjects in this study were the children of Group B TK Al-Khairiyah with a total of 20 children. Data collection techniques in this study are observation and documentation. Data analysis techniques using quantitative descriptive. The results of the study showed that the ability of children at the pre-cycle stage is still in the developing stage. In cycle I, the average score was 2.8 with a percentage of 62.52% in the 'Developing as Expected' category. And in cycle II there was a pretty good increase, with a percentage reaching 80%. Therefore, it can be said that the snakes and ladders game can improve the numeracy skills of young children.

Abstract

This study aims to develop PAI curriculum objectives that are more relevant, contextual, and comprehensive. The research method used was a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through literature study, observation, and in-depth interviews with educational experts and practitioners. The data were analyzed descriptively and inferentially using thematic and statistical analysis. The results showed that the objectives of the PAI curriculum developed should include aspects of strengthening aqidah, deepening religious knowledge, practicing worship, forming noble morals, and developing life skills based on Islamic values. The principles used in the development of PAI curriculum objectives include the balance between spiritual and material aspects, contextuality, and relevance to the needs of the times. The development strategies applied include revitalizing the curriculum, improving the quality of teachers, strengthening partnerships with parents and communities, and utilizing technology in learning. The implication of this study is the production of PAI curriculum objectives that are more comprehensive, in line with the times, and able to answer global challenges. The PAI curriculum developed is expected to provide adequate provision for students in facing global challenges and become a generation that is faithful, knowledgeable, noble, and able to contribute positively to society.
