Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to help students develop their physical and spiritual potential with the aim of leading them to become adults and have the ability to complete their own life tasks independently in order to achieve lifelong happiness. Meanwhile, the foundation is a place of support or starting point or basic footing. Therefore, the foundation of education is the assumptions that form the basis or starting point in the context of educational practice. The aim of education is the expected change in students' subjects after experiencing the educational process, both individual behavior and personal life as well as the life of the community in the natural surroundings where the individual lives. Meanwhile, the aim of Indonesian national education itself is to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe in and are devoted to God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic and responsible citizens. Education in Indonesia has several important foundations, including legal foundations, philosophical foundations, psychological foundations, sociological foundations, cultural foundations, religious foundations, historical foundations, and technological foundations.

Abstract

In this era of globalization full of competition, Serangan Village needs to continue to innovate and increase its attractiveness to attract more tourists. One promising strategy is to combine language and cuisine, creating a unique and unforgettable culinary tourism experience. The research method used in this research is a qualitative research method with data collection techniques, namely observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that community participation through language and culinary arts is able to strengthen the tourist attraction for culinary delights in Serangan Village. The right strategy could be to empower POKDARWIS, especially those who can speak English, in collaborative language and culinary activities in Village.

Abstract

Teachers play an important role in helping students achieve the desired learning goals in learning activities. One of the main strategies used by educators is contextual learning. By using a contextual teaching and learning approach, students act as both subjects and objects. This method is not limited to the simple process of teachers conveying knowledge to students, but also involves students learning from their teachers. This research was conducted using qualitative methods through classroom observations, interviews with teachers and students, and analysis of learning documents. The research results show that the implementation of the contextual approach in PAI learning has been carried out well. This can be seen from the use of various contextual learning methods, such as group discussions, project-based learning, and problem-based learning. Teachers have also created a conducive learning atmosphere and motivated students to learn actively. The contextual approach has proven effective in improving PAI student learning outcomes. Students become more active and enthusiastic in learning and understand the lesson material more easily. Apart from that, students are also better able to apply religious values in everyday life.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and develop Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials in the field of Al-Qur'an and Hadith at the Madrasah Aliyah level. The background of this research is the importance of a deep understanding and development of teaching materials to suit the times and the needs of students. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with a case study approach in several Madrasah Aliyah. Data were obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The results showed that there are several aspects of Al-Qur'an and Hadith materials that require further deepening, such as the historical context of verses and hadith, relevance to contemporary issues, and the application of the values contained in everyday life. In addition, material development also involves the use of more varied and interactive learning methods, including the use of information and communication technology (ICT) to increase the attractiveness and effectiveness of learning. This finding is expected to be a reference for PAI teachers in developing more effective curriculum and learning strategies. With the proper deepening and development of materials, it is expected that students can better master the knowledge of the Qur'an and Hadith, and be able to apply it in their lives.

Abstract

Teenagers often have negative connotations. They are considered rebellious, fun-loving and irresponsible. But in reality, not all teenagers are like that. Many teenagers also have achievements. The need for achievement as part of psychological-sociological needs, if fulfilled, will bring balance and wholeness of personal integration; believe in yourself, value the strength, capability and feasibility of the individual concerned. It will also create inner harmony due to the fulfillment of self-esteem so that it can produce productive individuals. Fulfillment of achievement needs in adolescents is important to direct the lives of adolescents to be positive. Fulfillment of these achievement needs also requires efforts from within adolescents and support and reinforcement from the home and school environment.

Abstract

Education in Indonesia continues to undergo evolution to meet the demands of the times and the needs of society. One of the major efforts in education reform is the development of the Merdeka Curriculum, an educational innovation aimed at increasing the relevance and quality of learning at the elementary school level. The Merdeka Curriculum emphasizes the development of students' character, creativity and skills to be able to compete globally. The method used in this research uses data collection analysis (literature review) from journals, internet media and online news media. The results in this research, namely the Merdeka Curriculum, emerged as a response to PISA findings which showed that the majority of Indonesian students were below minimum competency in reading comprehension and basic mathematical concepts. In an effort to overcome lagging behind in learning, the Ministry of Education and Culture, Research and Technology implemented an emergency curriculum during the COVID-19 pandemic, which succeeded in reducing the impact on literacy and numeracy.

Abstract

This research aims to develop teaching materials for Islamic Cultural History (SKI) in grade VII junior high school according to the Merdeka Curriculum. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, with steps including literature review, analysis of teaching materials, and identification of relevant textbooks. The developed materials cover the history of the Umayyad dynasty in Andalusia, the golden age of Islam in Andalusia, the development of science during the Umayyad period, and the Islamic values that can be derived from this history. The results show that good material development should consider the criteria for content which include facts, concepts, principles, and procedures, as well as relevance to regional characteristics and student potential. Additionally, materials should be organized according to the principles of relevance, consistency, and adequacy to ensure effective and meaningful learning for students.

Abstract

The use of technology in Islamic religious education (PAI) has become a primary focus in developing effective and relevant teaching methods. This article explores the integration of technology in the design of PAI learning to enhance student engagement and teaching efficiency. A literature review identifies that traditional approaches in PAI education can be enhanced through digital technology, such as interactive applications, e-learning platforms, and social media, which support interaction and deeper understanding of religious teachings. Qualitative research methods were employed to evaluate the implementation of technology in PAI learning at secondary schools. The findings indicate that integrating technology not only increases students' interest in PAI subjects but also expands their access to a wider range of educational resources. The practical implications of this research emphasize the importance of training educators to adopt technology as a tool to enhance the PAI learning experience. This study provides guidance for curriculum developers and educational policymakers to harness the potential of technology in supporting holistic and effective Islamic religious education.

Abstract

Learning Islamic Religious Education (PAI) requires innovation in learning models to increase effectiveness and attract students' interest. Some innovative learning models that can be applied in Islamic Education include Cooperative Learning, Problem-Based Learning, Project-Based Learning, Inquiry-based learning, Flipped Classroom, and Blended Learning. These models emphasize active learner participation, real problem solving, group work, and linking material to everyday life. Innovative learning models are different from classic teacher-centered learning models. In innovative models, learners play a more active role in the learning process, while the teacher acts as a facilitator. In addition, innovative models are more flexible, interactive and prioritize the development of higher-order thinking skills. Compared to the classic model which tends to be monotonous and one-way, the innovative model is more interesting, challenging and in line with the times and the needs of today's learners. The application of innovative learning models in PAI is expected to improve students' understanding and skills, as well as instill Islamic values in a more meaningful and contextual manner. However, the successful application of innovative models is highly dependent on the readiness and ability of teachers to design, implement, and evaluate the learning process effectively.

Abstract

This study aims to explore and develop Islamic Religious Education (PAI) materials in the field of fiqh taught in grade VII of Madrasah Tsanawiyah based on the 2013 Curriculum. Fiqh is one of the branches of science in Islam that studies the laws of Islamic law in depth. In the context of learning in Madrasah Tsanawiyah, fiqh material needs to be studied and developed to suit the times and the needs of students. This research uses a qualitative approach with the methods of literature study, observation of learning, and interviews with fiqh teachers and experts. Data were collected from relevant primary and secondary sources, such as fiqh books, PAI curriculum, and learning materials used in Madrasah Tsanawiyah. The results showed that the fiqh materials taught in the seventh grade of Madrasah Tsanawiyah are still general and less contextualized. Therefore, it is necessary to deepen and develop the material to make it more applicable and in accordance with the times, for example by adding examples of contemporary fiqh cases and linking them to the daily lives of students. This study provides recommendations on strategies for deepening and developing fiqh materials, as well as their implications for a more effective and meaningful PAI learning process for students.
