Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan peran Nursery Rhymes dalam mendorong perkembangan bahasa ekspresif anak usia dini di TK Nurul Huda Genteng, Banyuwangi. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah 34 anak usia 4–5 tahun yang terbagi dalam dua kelas (A1 dan A2). Informan penelitian terdiri dari guru kelas dan orang tua siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kegiatan Nursery Rhymes secara signifikan membantu anak dalam mengembangkan kemampuan bahasa ekspresif, seperti penggunaan kosakata baru, penyusunan kalimat sederhana, serta keberanian berbicara di depan umum. Guru memanfaatkan lagu sesuai tema pembelajaran untuk membangun keterkaitan antara materi dan kehidupan sehari-hari anak. Orang tua juga mengamati perubahan positif, seperti anak menjadi lebih komunikatif, bernyanyi di rumah, serta mampu mengekspresikan perasaan melalui lagu. Lagu menjadi media pembelajaran yang efektif, menyenangkan, dan komunikatif, sekaligus menjembatani proses komunikasi antara anak dengan lingkungan sekitarnya. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa Nursery Rhymes dapat dijadikan strategi pedagogis untuk memperkuat perkembangan bahasa ekspresif anak usia dini.

Abstract

Abstract Illustrated story media with Banyuwangi local wisdom based on a website is a story media that contains characters from Banyuwangi. Illustrated stories stimulate children because they contain pictures and writing that arouse children's interest and curiosity about the contents of the illustrated story. This study aims to determine the feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of illustrated stories with Banyuwangi local wisdom based on a website to improve the speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years. The subjects used were 25 children aged 5-6 years at RA Perwanida Singojuruh. This study is a type of Research and Development research with the ADDIE model. The data collection process carried out by researchers using three methods, namely questionnaires, observation and documentation. For data analysis using the SPSS test. The results of this study are the feasibility of the illustrated story product with Banyuwangi local wisdom based on a website obtained a value of 76.27% with the data interpretation category "Feasible" for use. The results of the practicality of the illustrated story product with Banyuwangi local wisdom based on the website obtained a value of 89.16% with the data interpretation category "Very Practical". Then the results of the effectiveness test of the illustrated story product with Banyuwangi local wisdom based on the website obtained an N-Gain test value of 0.9467 and was in the interval 0.70 <g <1.00 with the category "high", which means this product is included in the highly increase for use in learning. This shows that the illustrated story product with Banyuwangi local wisdom based on the website is feasible, very practical and effective for use in improving the speaking skills of children aged 5-6 years at RA Perwanida Singojuruh. Keyword : Picture Stories, Website, Local Wisdom, Children's Speaking Ability Abstrak Media cerita bergambar dengan kearifan lokal Banyuwangi berbasis website merupakan media cerita yang berisi tokoh-tokoh berasal dari Banyuwangi. Cerita bergambar menstimulasi anak karena memuat gambar dan tulisan yang menggugah minat dan keingintahuan anak terhadap isi cerita bergambar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan, kepraktisan, dan keefektivan cerita bergambar dengan kearifan lokal Banyuwangi berbasis wesbite untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak usia 5-6 tahun. Subjek yang digunakan adalah anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Perwanida Singojuruh sebanyak 25 anak. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian Research and Development dengan model ADDIE. Proses pengumpulan data yang peneliti lakukan dengan menggunakan tiga cara yaitu angket, observasi dan dokumentasi. Untuk analisis data menggunakan uji SPSS. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kelayakan produk cerita bergambar dengan kearifan lokal Banyuwangi berbasis website didapatkan nilai sebesar 76,27% dengan kategori interpretasi data “Layak” untuk digunakan. Hasil kepraktisan produk cerita bergambar dengan kearifan lokal Banyuwangi berbasis website didapatkan nilai sebesar 89,16% dengan kategori interpretasi data “Sangat Praktis”. Kemudian hasil uji keefektifan produk cerita bergambar dengan kearifan lokal Banyuwangi berbasis website didapatkan nilai uji N-Gain sebesar 0.9467 dan berada pada interval 0,70 < g < 1,00 dengan kategori “high”, yang mana produk ini termasuk dalam peningkatan tinggi untuk digunakan dalam pembelajaran. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa produk cerita bergambar dengan kearifan lokal Banyuwangi berbasis website layak, sangat praktis dan efektif untuk digunakan dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Perwanida Singojuruh. Abstract

This study aims to examine the implementation of play strategies that are systematically designed to support the development of fine and gross motor abilities in early childhood. The focus of this study departs from the urgency of providing directed motor stimulation as an important part of supporting the process of holistic child development. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. The choice of this approach aims to allow the researcher to conduct an in-depth exploration of the systematically designed play strategies that support the development of fine and gross motor skills in early childhood. Data collection techniques through direct observation, documentation of children's activities, and interviews with teachers at TK IT ZIA Salsabila, Medan. Participants in this study included 15 children in group B and the class teacher as the main source of information. The findings show that activities such as coloring, cutting and folding paper can hone visual-motor coordination and make fine movements. Meanwhile, physical games such as rhythmic gymnastics and ball throwing and catching proved to train children's muscle strength, body balance, and courage. Strategic planning by teachers, effective interactions, and the support of an optimal learning environment are important elements of the success of this activity. Teachers are advised to continue developing a variety of structured educational games and implement portfolio assessment as an authentic child development evaluation tool.

Abstract

Science literacy is one example of a form of literacy that is important to introduce to children from an early age because at this time they are full of enthusiasm and curiosity about new things. However, currently, science literacy learning at Mutiara An-Naafi’u Kindergarten has not been implemented optimally. In the classroom, learning is still dominated by the use of LKA and the lecture method so that children do not get direct experience which causes children’s science literacy skills not to develop properly. In this study, agroschooling was utilized as a means of science literacy skills in early childhood at Mutiara An-Naafi’u Kindergarten. This study is intended to determine and assess the effectiveness of agroschooling in improving early childhood science literacy skills. This study used a type of quantitative research with an experimental approach using a pre-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects involved in the study were kindergarten B group students totaling 27 students. Data were extracted using observation, interview, and test techniques. In addition, data analysis techniques with normality test, T-test, and N-Gain test were also applied with the help of IBM SPSS Statistic 27. Based on the results of the paired sample t-test test, a significance value of 0.00 <0.05 was obtained, indicating a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores. So it can be concluded that agroschooling is effective in improving literacy skills.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of parents in supporting the development of discipline and responsibility character in early childhood, as well as to present the outcomes of children's behavior shaped through such habituation. The research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design involving 10 children aged 5–6 years at TK Dharma Wanita Bringinan and their parents. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The findings reveal that parents play a significant role in fostering discipline and responsibility in young children through three main aspects: habitual routines, role modeling, and positive communication. Children who are consistently exposed to disciplined routines at home demonstrate orderly behavior at school, such as organizing stationery, completing tasks on time, and respecting classroom rules. Responsibility is also reflected in behaviors such as taking care of personal belongings, helping the teacher, and admitting mistakes. This success is supported by active parental involvement and collaboration with teachers.Thus, the role of parents is not only as supporters but also as the primary foundation in shaping children to become disciplined, responsible, and prepared to face future challenges

Abstract

This study is based on the fact that nowadays many children's behaviors are influenced by things that should not be done by children their age, such as using bad language and hate speech, and committing violence against friends. Early childhood is influenced by electronic media which is currently very easy to obtain compared to moral education that should be instilled in the development period of early childhood. So it is necessary to educate children's religious and moral values ​​from an early age through learning the hadith. This study was conducted to determine how learning the hadith can develop children's religious and moral values. The method used is qualitative with a descriptive research type, observation data collection techniques, interviews and documentation and data analysis with the Miles and Huberman model. The results obtained are that learning the hadith in children is carried out every day after the child has finished reading the surahs and short prayers. This activity is routinely carried out so that children continue to remember the hadith they have memorized. Based on observations, it can be seen that children have memorized the hadith about eating, cleanliness and the prohibition of anger, then children practice it by reciting the hadith when there are friends who eat while standing, there are also those who litter and get angry with other friends. Thus, based on this, the development of children's religious and moral values ​​shows that children already have good behavior and know about bad behavior through routine learning of the hadith.

Abstract

Early Childhood Education (PAUD) is essential in shaping children's character and spiritual intelligence from an early age. This study describes teacher strategies and inhibiting and supporting factors in developing students' spiritual intelligence at TK Negeri 2 Banda Aceh City. The research approach uses a qualitative case study research type. Sampling as research subjects uses a purposive sample of class B teachers as sources and students as observers—data collection through observation with subjects, interviews with teachers and documentation during the study. The data results were analyzed using Miles and Huberman with data reduction (codification), data presentation, and conclusion. The results show that the main strategies for developing spiritual intelligence are storytelling and praying together, singing Islamic songs, moral stories, muraja'ah, and educational tours to the mosque. The main supporting factors come from the family environment, social environment, such as school, teachers, and learning media. Meanwhile, inhibiting factors include differences in family backgrounds, limited learning media, and the character of easily distracted children. Efforts to overcome obstacles are carried out through collaboration with parents, spontaneous strategies from teachers through questions and answers, and singing. This research contributes to strengthening the practice of early childhood spiritual education in the context of Islamic education and is a reference in developing character learning strategies in PAUD environments.

Abstract

The phenomenon of sexual violence against children in Indonesia, which has increased by 300% in the last decade, demands a preventive approach through early childhood sexuality education, yet still faces strong cultural resistance. This research explores the dynamics of parent-teacher collaboration in implementing early childhood sexuality education at TK Tunas Harapan Banyuwangi, focusing on paradigm transformation, collaborative mechanisms, and their impact on children's protective understanding. Employing qualitative educational ethnography with an interpretive-constructivist paradigm, the study involved 12 parents, 6 teachers, and 1 principal during March-June 2024. Data were collected through participatory observation, semi-structured interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis, then analyzed using the Miles model with triangulation for validity. Findings reveal paradigm transformation from resistance to acceptance through andragogy-based "parent classes," three-pillar collaborative mechanisms (shared vision building, synchronized capacity building, and communication protocols), and positive impacts including enhanced children's body awareness, changes in family communication patterns, and transformation of teaching practices toward child-centered approaches. This research contributes to developing locally-based collaborative models for sexuality education relevant to Indonesia's sociocultural context.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of the traditional game Galah Hadang on the prosocial behavior of children aged 5–6 years at RA Zuhratul Aini. The research was motivated by the limited social interaction and prosocial skills observed among young children. A quantitative approach was employed using a one-group pretest–posttest experimental design involving 16 participants. Data were collected through systematic observation and analyzed using the Shapiro–Wilk normality test and paired sample t test. The findings revealed a significant improvement in prosocial behavior following the implementation of Galah Hadang, with a p-value < 0.05. These results demonstrate that the game effectively enhances children’s cooperation, responsibility, respect, sharing, and tolerance. The study underscores the pedagogical value of traditional games, suggesting their potential as engaging and culturally relevant learning media to foster social development in early childhood education.

Abstract

Early childhood numeracy literacy in Indonesia still faces significant challenges due to the dominance of conventional approaches, resulting in low student engagement. This study positions interactive video-based learning media as an innovative solution to enrich numeracy practices in early childhood education. The purpose of this research is to develop the interactive learning video “PIANGPO” (Smart Numbers and Patterns), assess its feasibility, and test its effectiveness in improving numeracy skills among young children. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model, limited to the development stage, involving 45 children in group B (ages 5–6) at TK Al Husna, South Jakarta. Data collection instruments. included observation sheets, expert validation questionnaires, and numeracy assessment sheets, analyzed descriptively using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results showed that the “PIANGPO” video was highly feasible, with an average expert validation score of 4 on a 1–5 scale. Its effectiveness was demonstrated by a significant improvement in children’s numeracy scores, from 2.26 (Beginning to Develop) to 3.46 (Developing as Expected), and an increase in engagement levels from 74% to 92%. Therefore, “PIANGPO” is proven feasible and effective as an innovative medium to enhance early childhood numeracy literacy.
