Jubaedah Journal managed by Faculty of Teacher Training and Education and published by LP2M, Bina Bangsa University, Indonesia. It is at the national level that covers a lot of common problems or issues related to community services.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' competence in writing children's stories. The research methods used lectures, observations, and discussions. The results showed that the level of competence in writing children's stories for STIA-ASMI students had progressed. Community service activities in the STIA-ASMI SOLO environment are very useful for STIA-ASMI SOLO students to improve their ability in writing children's stories

Abstract

One of the Field Experience Practices (PPL) service programs held at the Ma Ponpes Al Islam University of Bina Bangsa Academic Year 2022/2023 is information and communication technology socialization and training activities. The implementation of the Field Experience Practice (PPL) service program in the Ma Ponpes Al Islam environment aims to increase student interest in learning, in the development of information and communication technology so that the program can make Ma Ponpes Al Islam students more motivated in the world of information and communication technology. While the method of implementing the Field Experience Practice (PPL) service program includes information and communication technology education, motivation, and practice. The results of this PPL service activity are: 1) Increasing student interest in learning, 2) Increasing student knowledge and 3) increasing student motivation to learn Information and communication technology. Thus, the service carried out by the Bina Bangsa University Field Experience Practice Team (PPL) to the students of Ma Ponpes Al Islam in 2022 in information and communication technology socialization and training activities has been well realized.

Abstract

The purpose of this service activity is to provide training and knowledge to teachers who teach at SMA Al-Falah HMM Timika about making power point-based learning media that are useful as teaching materials to make it easier for teachers to explain or explain various learning materials to be taught. Abstract

Scientific publications for teachers are very important to contribute in solving student problems in school. PKMTN goal is to increase the motivation and culture of writing teacher scientific publications at SMA N 1 Mojotengah Wonosobo. The method of service carried out with the principle of "service mastery" is identification of teachers targeted for scientific publications, preparation of articles according to the scope and guideline of the journal, assistance in submitting and reviewing journals and assisting publications. The study subject consisted of 26 high school teachers N 1 Mojotengah from a variety of different subjects. The results of the service activities showed that 65.7% of the program was carried out and the level of understanding of teachers in scientific publications in the medium category of scientific publications. The output produced is only 40% of teachers who are able to publish articles to the national scientific journal ISSN and the national journal accredited SINTA. Abstract

With the increasing development of technology, teachers are required to be able to master IT in learning. A variety of active and interactive learning media can motivate students in learning. This causes the need for interactive, fun, and easily accessible media. This service aims to provide knowledge and practice on making interactive learning media in the form of quizzes using PowerPoint. The results of this service got an excellent response from the teachers at SMPN 1 Waigete. With the resulting Quiz media in the form of PPT, the teachers felt that the media was beneficial and provided much knowledge that had not been obtained so far. It can be seen from the results of the questionnaire that mastery can make media quizzes using PPT 60%, while 40% still need guidance and assistance. Thus, the teachers feel that this service activity is significant to increasing their IT knowledge, and they hope that they will not stop making quizzes but can continue with other IT training because the teachers' mastery at SMPN 1 Waigete is still minimal

Abstract

Pre-mathematics is an important activity to train children to construct understanding with symbolic language called simple abstraction then teach children to understand the concept of numbers and number operations. One of the pre-mathematical activities or skills for early childhood is sorting and classifying (grouping activities). Sorting and grouping skills are very important because this activity can hone children's ability to observe similarities and differences. Unfortunately for the current condition of children, where the covid-19 pandemic is still ongoing which of course requires children to do a lot of activities at home, making early childhood children play less, especially understanding the importance of playing while learning. In fact, the introduction of playing and learning activities through pre-mathematical activities is very useful when children enter the elementary school (SD) level. Thus, seeing the importance of understanding pre-mathematical skills for teachers in Alqur'an Taqarrub Kindergarten to be taught to students, this service activity aims to provide information as well as improve pre-mathematical abilities and skills for teachers in Alqur'an Taqarrub Kindergarten. through pattern recognition, activity and classification of creative activities for early childhood, so that they can be directly applied and applied to students. The implementation method used is the Transfer of Knowledge with activity stages; 1) preparation; 2) Implementation; and (3) Evaluation. In general, PKM can run according to the schedule of activities and there is an increase in knowledge and skills about pre-mathematical skills, through creative activities. The teachers are also proven to have been able to understand various pre-mathematical skills and are able to make examples of creative and fun questions to teach students.

Abstract

This community service activity is carried out as a form of devotion from AMIK Tri Dharma Pekanbaru lecturers to the community, as for the materials chosen in this activity are robotics and microcontrollers, the target is students majoring in computer network engineering at SMK Bina Insan Siak Hulu. The activity was carried out by explaining the theory about robotics and microcontrollers to the participants, then the presenters would practice and demonstrate about making simple robotics. This activity aims so that participants can know and be able to understand science about robotics and microcontrollers, especially in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0, knowledge about robotics and microcontrollers is needed. robotics and microcontrollers. It is hoped that the participants will continue to explore their knowledge after the activity is completed from various references on the internet

Abstract

Based on PISA results, Indonesian students' reading scores are ranked 72 out of 77 participating countries. This minimal ability certainly needs to be overcome, one of which is by increasing the competence of teachers in schools. a total of 40 participants from various regions participated in this service activity which came from various levels, namely elementary, junior high, high school, and vocational school. Agenda for providing materials related to AKM and PISA-based learning designs and evaluation of activities. Based on the evaluation, it was seen that the workshop participants showed a good category attitude through being creative, cooperative, and independent. This AKM and PISA-oriented Learning Design Workshop has benefits for both the participants and the service team. Based on the results of the evaluation in terms of audio and video quality, the material presented by the resource persons, the method of presenting the material and the use of the language of the service team, the workshop was carried out well

Abstract

The purpose of the matriculation activity is to improve the basic math skills of junior high school students so that when the learning process in the next material does not experience difficulties. The method used in this activity is through a pretest, providing material and practice questions, a posttest, and the final evaluation of the activity. The results of this activity are the basic understanding of students by 46.87%, and the final result of students who pass the minimum criteria of 53.13%.

Abstract

The implementation of social distancing in an effort to stop the spread of the Corona virus, a number of schools have eliminated teaching and learning activities, so a study from home policy has been issued by utilizing technology through e-learning to zoom. However, in practice, many complaints are experienced by both students and parents. The purpose of this activity is to provide knowledge and get to know about learning media that attracts students' attention by utilizing media in the form of videos with Power Point, OBS, and Google Meet. This training explores the creativity of PAUD teachers because the teacher plays an important role in attracting students. The benefits of this teacher assistance are inviting teachers and parents to motivate students in learning, the results of this activity itself are videos that have been made or compiled by teachers related to the learning themes that have been prepared according to the material and practice presented, 98% of the participants in the activity convey satisfaction in training events and according to current needs
