Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine how effective HOTS instruction has improved the reading abilities of students in class VIII at MTsN 1 South Tangerang. The descriptive approach was employed in this study, and the data were gathered through test-taking, teacher and student interviews, as well as observation of class activities. The results also indicate that the teacher frequently employed a technique similar to HOTS, such as an excellent game, in the classroom to stimulate students' critical thinking. The data analysis leads to the conclusion that HOTS is appropriate for use in teaching reading to junior high school students. Keywords: Reading, HOTS, Society 5.0 References (2010-2022)

Abstract

Understanding literacy in grade 4 is already a very important part. If you still find many students whose ability to understand the meaning of their reading is poor, it will greatly affect the process of self-development of students and the learning process in class. The ability to understand reading has a big impact on all subjects so that it affects student learning outcomes. The research objective was to improve learning outcomes and reading comprehension using the SQ3R method for fourth grade students MI Cibuntu. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (CAR). Where the teacher as the executor of learning while the researcher as an observer. The research design uses the Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The subjects of this study were students of class IV MI Cibuntu which consisted of 30 students. The object of research is the result of learning reading comprehension. Data collection techniques using observation and interviews. Data were analyzed descriptively and presented in tabular form. The results showed that there was an increase in reading comprehension learning outcomes, namely in the first cycle by 69% (enough category), then in the second cycle it increased to 82% (very good category). This means an increase of 13%. Thus the use of the SQ3R (Survey, Question, Read, Recite, Review) method in Indonesian subjects can improve learning outcomes in reading comprehension for class IV MI Cibuntu Bogor. Abstract

In today's world, religion is increasingly demanded to play an active role in various human problems. This approach is not used in research settings but rather as a science-based perspective or paradigm for understanding religion. To clearly understand various aspects of Islamic teachings, various approaches are needed from various scientific fields. Apart from that, it turns out that agricultural science is required to discuss D verses related to plant matters. Regarding the concepts mentioned above, approaches to understanding religion must be understood clearly. This must be resolved because the utilitarian nature of religion can be felt by its adherents through this strategy. The library research method, in which trusted books and articles are used to review research materials, was used in this study. Abstract

The family is the environment where the child finds education firstly. Therefore, the role of parents in education is a direct action to supervise, control, and evaluate every child's activity. In order for children's education to be better, parents must act as educators who can set an example or model for their children. This study aims to find out how important parental exemplary is in supporting school programs, especially in the Tahfidz learning process for grade 6 SDIT Darul Hijri Dramaga Bogor. This research is a field research using qualitative methods. Sources of data used are primary and secondary data obtained using techniques such as observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the research and discussion show that parental example is very important and there are even parents who take part in the Al-Quran program to follow and be able to control their children's memorization at home. There are even children who are able to achieve the target of memorizing one juz or more, in general, children of students who have high motivation and most importantly, these children are children who are assisted, guided by their parents at home. However, this is not shown by all children who are students at SDIT Darul Hijri Dramaga Bogor because of the lack of ability and understanding of parents towards the Al-Quran, and parents are busy at work. Abstract

Assessment is very important to be carried out by the teacher, because without an assessment the teacher will not be able to see the competencies of students who have developed or not at all. So assessment is very useful for teachers if done. One of the benefits is that the teacher will know that the material that has been taught during learning is carried out whether students can understand it or not. Educational Assessment Standards are criteria regarding mechanisms, procedures and instruments for assessing student learning. This study aims to describe the ability of teachers to conduct thematic learning assessments. Based on the results of the research, it shows that the implementation of the assessment based on the 2013 curriculum has not been fully implemented by MIS Nurul Hidayah Rawa Cangkuk Kec. Denai Field. The data obtained will be very useful for determining steps or policies related to assessment standards, which are ultimately expected to improve school quality. Abstract

There are many leadership styles that can be applied in organizations, such as charismatic leadership and visionary leadership. Charismatic leaders emphasize ideological goals that link the group's mission to deep-rooted values, ideals, and aspirations shared by followers. Besides that, charismatic leadership is also based on the extraordinary power possessed by a person as a person. Visionary leadership brings about change within ourselves and includes the people involved in and or the entire organization to achieve higher levels of performance. This article demonstrates an alternative framework for implementing charismatic leadership in organizations that can improve employee outcomes (competencies-skills). Abstract

This paper aims to find the urgency of implementing School-Based Management in education units, using a qualitative approach through the library study method, namely reviewing several articles, books and other documentation related to the concept of implementing school-based management, so as to find a new theory of strategy and the impact it provides. in education units in improving the quality of education through the implementation of SBM. School-based management (SBM) is an educational model that gives autonomy or authority to schools to be able to manage their own affairs with their respective environmental conditions. Implementation of school-based management can improve the quality of education by implementing the right strategy. There are at least 3 (three) stages that can be carried out including the socialization stage, the piloting stage, and the dissemination stage. In addition to utilizing this strategy, the role of the school principal as a leader is also urgently needed to coordinate all components of the school so that they can carry out school-based management properly in order to achieve an increase in the quality of education. Abstract

This literature review research aims to explore the relationship between the Vroom-Yetton participatory leadership style and students' motivation to learn at school. The method used is an analysis of empirical studies and the latest literature relevant to the research topic. The results showed that the Vroom-Yetton participatory leadership style had a positive impact on students' learning motivation at school. This leadership style involves active participation of students in making decisions related to learning programs and the learning environment. Students are given the opportunity to express their opinions, provide feedback, and make decisions together with educational leaders and teachers. This study shows that students who are involved in decision-making and are given an active role in learning feel more valued and have a sense of ownership of their learning. This can increase students' learning motivation and help them to achieve their academic goals. In addition, the Vroom-Yetton participatory leadership style also allows teachers to obtain better feedback from students regarding their learning experiences. Teachers can use this feedback to modify the learning program and learning environment according to the needs of students, thereby increasing their motivation to learn. In conclusion, this study shows that the Vroom-Yetton participatory leadership style can have a positive impact on students' motivation to learn at school. Therefore, educational leaders should consider implementing the Vroom-Yetton participatory leadership style in learning environments to increase students' motivation to learn and the overall quality of education. Further studies can be conducted to explore more deeply the impact of the Vroom-Yetton participatory leadership style on student motivation in different educational environment. Abstract

The context of this research is basically a current phenomenon where a child's character is very far from the corridors of religious law, of course due to several factors, therefore parents play a very important role in the formation of a child's character. The family is the smallest community in a child's life. Many things that a child learns from childhood from his family. Especially for Mama and Papa, parents have a big role in shaping the character of children. The role of parents in educating children in the household is very important because it is in the household that a child first receives guidance and education from his parents. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parental attention on the formation of Islamic character with the method used, namely the functional correlation quantitative approach. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire /questionnaire with analysis using simple linear regression statistical analysis. The implementation of the influence of parents' attention on the formation of Islamic character in santi/students at the modern Muhammadiyah Islamic boarding school kwala madu Langkat brings the direction of the influence of the X variable on the Y variable which is positive. The result of the significance of Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. This test can be proven by the regression equation Y = 56.469 + 0.461X with a large effect that the variable Parents' Attention to the Formation of the Islamic Character of Islamic Students is 31.03% while the remaining 68.97% is influenced by other factors. Abstract

The Ability of PAI Teachers in Developing Teaching Materials for Islamic Religious Education at MAS Nurul Furqoon Binjai. The purpose of this study was to determine the development of teaching materials for Islamic Religious Education at Mas Nurul Furqoon. This study uses a qualitative approach with the CIPP technique, then the instruments used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study stated that the development of teaching materials is very important for learning activities in the classroom, because the development of teaching materials is able to make students more easily understand in understanding the material and are more active in knowing more about the material being taught. This research shows that PAI teachers at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Furqoon Binjai have good competence in the field of PAI and seek to continuously improve their abilities through training and supervision conducted by the school. This shows the school's commitment to ensure that PAI teachers remain professional and ready to face the times in the world of education. The conclusion of this study is that the teacher's ability to develop teaching materials for Islamic Religious Education at Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Furqoon Binjai is quite good. PAI teachers at the school have good competence in various aspects of learning and are constantly working to improve their skills. In the context of PAI learning, these teachers are able to create positive and effective learning experiences for students, as well as contribute to the formation of students' personalities and morals in accordance with Islamic teachings.
