Abstract

The token economy system is a new incentive system that aims to enhance employee engagement, productivity, and overall performance at the company. In this study, the Token Economy Method was used to evaluate the impact of the token economy on employee performance improvement. The data were collected using a combination of primary and secondary data methods, including interviews with company stakeholders and questionnaire surveys to employees. The collected data was then analyzed using qualitative and quantitative methods, with the application of multiple regression. The results of the analysis show the importance of a fair and effective benefits system, and the potential of token economy in improving employee discipline and performance. The fishbone analysis concludes that there are several areas where the conventional allowance system could be improved to improve employee performance, including motivation and rewards, allowance fairness, healthcare and well-being allowances, cost efficiency, and retention impact. This method demonstrates a strong statistical influence on performance improvement, accounting for 96.8% of the variance in employee performance. Overall, this method emerges as an innovative and effective approach to managing bonuses that enhances employee engagement and productivity, creating a performance-driven culture within PT.

Abstract

In the era of 21st-century disruption, fostering national character to strengthen identity and nationalism is crucial for forming inclusive citizenship. This research aims to deepen and broaden the understanding of how social class affects individuals' access to citizenship rights. This study employs a qualitative approach using the library research method, which involves compiling various references from previous studies relevant to the research subject to draw conclusions. The collected data are processed, analyzed, and presented descriptively and qualitatively in a logical and systematic manner, yielding inductive conclusions that begin with specific observations and lead to general conclusions. Inequality in access to education, disparities in employment opportunities, and limited political participation are challenges that need to be addressed to achieve inclusive and equitable citizenship. The challenges in Indonesia's education system encompass three main aspects: unequal access to educational, varying quality of education, and inconsistent allocation of budgets along with a lack of commitment from local governments to improve educational standards. These inequalities present significant challenges in realizing a fair and equitable citizenry system. This work is an essential reference for sociological, political science, and legal studies in discussing the dynamics of citizenship and social equality.

Abstract

The study aims to examine the influence of taxpayer compliance, organizational culture, and organizational commitment on local revenue, as well as its impact on regional independence in Banten Province. The data analysis in this study uses a quantitative analysis method with the analysis tool used is Partial Least Square-Path Modeling (PLS-PM 3.0). The results of this study show that there is a significant positive influence of regional taxpayer compliance with regional original income. The coefficient of the path parameter obtained a path coefficient value of 0.012 significantly at 2.068 > t-table 1.96 and a p-value of 0.000  a significance level of 0.05, which states that there are significant positive influences of regional tax compliance with the original income of the region. Organizational commitment has no effect on the original regional income. This study provides valuable insights for policymakers and local government officials on the importance of fostering a culture of compliance and commitment within organizations to enhance financial performance. The findings also add to the existing literature on public finance and governance, highlighting the interconnectedness of taxpayer behavior and organizational dynamics in achieving fiscal independence at the regional level.

Abstract

Diabetes Mellitus (DM) is a metabolic disorder characterized by elevated blood glucose levels due to decreased insulin secretion from pancreatic beta cells or insulin resistance. Magnesium and calcium are essential minerals that play crucial roles in various enzymatic activities, significantly influencing important biological functions, particularly in relation to metabolic syndrome. The purpose of the research is to investigate the correlation between magnesium and calcium levels in the serum of elderly individuals with type 2 diabetes mellitus. The study method is descriptive observation with cross-sectional studies. The examination sample used 25 serum samples of people with diabetes with age inclusion criteria over 50 years old without any other degenerative diseases. The analysis of the data from the results of the study was then carried out by the SpSS test of the relationship between magnesium levels and the condition of type 2 DM, especially in the context of aging and its impact on metabolic health. Based on the examination of magnesium levels using the xylidil blue method, 23 patients (92%) showed normal results, while 2 patients (8%) showed numbers above normal on average. There was no significant relationship between blood sugar and magnesium levels, blood sugar with calcium levels, and between magnesium with calcium with a significance of p 0.058, p 0.179, and p 0,114, respectively. The findings of this study could enhance the understanding of the complex interactions between these essential minerals and their potential roles in managing metabolic syndrome, ultimately contributing to better health outcomes for older adults with DM.

Abstract

This article aims to provide a clear picture of how website/application design equates websites with applications, hereinafter referred to as websites, influences the formation of electronic loyalty (eLoy) through electronic trust (eTrust) and electronic satisfaction (eSat), by providing empirical evidence about the relationship between the demographic aspects of respondents and their choice of response to how the website/app is designed by the company. The research employs a laboratory simulation approach by explicating SEM-based results using the PIM feature within the Rasch model. The verified SEM model demonstrates strong goodness of fit, with six indexes indicating satisfactory results. The findings not only enhance theoretical understanding but also lay the groundwork for future research suggestions, demonstrating the potential for serendipitous discoveries in the evolving landscape of online shopping behavior. Future research should focus on refining the methodology for combining SEM and PIM analysis to further enhance the understanding of online consumer loyalty through website design.

Abstract

The Compilation of Islamic Law (KHI), as a legal guideline for Muslims in Indonesia, regulates in detail the Fasakh and Khulu mechanisms in resolving domestic conflicts. This study aims to provide a comprehensive analysis of these divorce mechanisms, focusing not only on their legal aspects but also on their social and psychological implications for individuals and families within the Indonesian Muslim community. The study used a juridical-normative approach that focused on legal analysis contained in the KHI. First, secondary data consisted of books, journals, and articles that discussed this topic from both the perspective of Islamic law and positive law in Indonesia. Then, case studies were conducted by identifying several divorce cases in religious courts. The findings reveal several key points related to the divorce mechanisms in the broader framework of KHI, including a lack of public understanding, social stigma, and limited resources in religious court. Finally, the study provides strategic recommendations for improving their implementation. These findings can inform policymakers, legal practitioners, and community leaders about the importance of these mechanisms in supporting the rights and welfare of individuals within the community.

Abstract

This study explores the perspectives of developers and residents regarding the economic and social visibility of simple housing construction in Bangkalan Regency, East Java. The study seeks to assess the visibility of affordable housing prices and analyze the social conditions associated with simple housing. The results indicate that there is a gap between reality and community expectations of housing adjacent to industrial sites in increasing employment opportunities for the surrounding community. Public transportation, educational facilities, healthcare services, and proximity to employment centers must be incorporated into housing planning to create sustainable and livable communities that meet both the expectations and realities of low-income populations. In addition, the authors developed indicators for the visibility analysis of simple residential buildings in Bang Kalan regency. This research is expected to provide insights into housing affordability and its impact on the social dynamics of the region.

Abstract

The construction industry plays a significant role in infrastructure development, including healthcare facilities like hospitals. This research aims to comprehensively identify, analyze, and evaluate the impact of design and build risk factors on the time performance of hospital construction projects. The study focuses on two main objectives: first, to analyze the impact variables related to owner and project manager factors on project time performance; and second, to develop effective mitigation strategies to manage and minimize these risks during implementation. The analysis process included data cleaning and verification, validity and reliability testing, descriptive analysis, Pearson correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis to evaluate the relationships between risk factors and the success of the hospital construction project. The results show that the Owner and Project Manager (PM) factors include several key variables with strong to perfect and significant correlations to project success, particularly key variables within each category. Project success is significantly influenced by the effective management of risk factors with high and significant correlatives, especially key variables in each category, namely, Project Management Competence (PM). This research contributes to the construction industry by providing insights and practical strategies tailored to the complexities of healthcare infrastructure, thereby advancing the development of risk management practices in this critical sector.
