Abstract

Hotel marketing is an activity that employs a strategy designed to tell a story about the services that a hotel may offer. The purpose of this study was to determine whether marketing practices had an impact on hotel operations. A qualitative case study research method was used. Instruments, interviews, and observations were used. The study's findings indicate that The Zuri Hotel follows the steps in the marketing strategy of paying attention to the current marketing mix, beginning with paying attention to each existing product and establishing pricing based on market scenarios and conditions. Employees and others involved in hotel operations are taught so that their work adheres to business operating requirements. Keep in mind that The Zuri also offers a variety of promos to entice tourists.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of compensation, transformational leadership style, intrinsic motivation on employee performance through job satisfaction in the Customer Satisfaction Management Division of PT. Bukalapak.Com Tbk. The method used in this study is a quantitative method and hypothesis testing is carried out with SEM analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that compensation has a negative and insignificant effect on job satisfaction, transformational leadership style and intrinsic motivation have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction. Compensation has a positive and insignificant effect on employee performance, transformational leadership style has a negative and significant effect on employee performance, intrinsic motivation and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Compensation has a negative and insignificant effect on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction, Transformational Leadership Style has a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction, Intrinsic Motivation has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance through Job Satisfaction.

Abstract

Banks are distinctively disparate from the other business entities for their business nature and essential functions; in serving as a financial intermediary, relying on the community as their main source of funding, assisting government in regard to the monetary policy implementation, and stimulating the economy. This study aims on identifying the influence of Liquidity Risk (LDR) and Credit Risk (NPL) on Profitability (ROA) with Net Interest Margin (NIM) in its mediating role of the Conventional Commercial Banks listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the period of 2020 to 2022. The population comprises those listed on the IDX under the Banking sub-sector companies, out of which, 4 banks are selected through the purposive sampling approaches. A total of 32 samples are obtained on an interim basis, from the second quarter of 2020 to the first quarter of 2022. By using the SPSS 25 program, Path Analysis is performed. It is revealed that Liquidity Risk has an insignificant effect on each NIM and Profitability, while Credit Risk has a significant effect on each NIM and Profitability. The results indicate that a one-unit change in Liquidity Risk might cause an insignificant fluctuation in NIM and Profitability and a one-unit change in Credit Risk might lead to a significant fluctuation in NIM and Profitability. Moreover, NIM fails to intervene between the effect of Liquidity Risk on Profitability and is found to intervene only between the effect of Credit Risk on Profitability.

Abstract

This research examines the connection between economic growth, education level, government expenditure, and open unemployment in Medan City. This research utilized annual time series data for Medan from 1998 to 2021. This research analysis method employs ECM (Error Correction Model) to comprehend the impact of long-term and short-term predictions processed by Eviews 9 software. According to the research findings, long-term and short-term projections of economic growth, education level, and accessible unemployment have a significant negative impact on poverty levels in the city of Medan. On the other hand, long-term and short-term government spending positively impact the poverty level in Medan City, although the effect is not significant. Based on the result of this research, the Medan City Government should enhance its oversight of the government's budget allocation in the context of reducing poverty in the city of Medan. In addition, the Medan City Government should concentrate its efforts on providing employment opportunities and utilizing competency-based certification and training to decrease unemployment, thereby contributing to reducing poverty in Medan City.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how much the price strategy is related to the sales volume of CCTV by using 7 dimensions of the price strategy, namely the statement of the value of a product, Aspects that are clear to buyers, the main determinants of demand, Directly related to income and prices, Flexibility, Influence image and positioning and Trigger internal conflicts, distribution channels, competitors, government agencies and public policies. The research population is all users who have bought CCTV at CV. Anugerah Jasa Abadi Bandung City in 2021, the total population is 365 buyers and the sample has been determined based on the solvin formula, namely 78 respondents to be given a questionnaire. Based on the research results, by following market prices and providing discounts so that they can attract consumers to buy at CV. Anugerah Jasa Abadi Bandung City.

Abstract

The COVID-19 epidemic has significantly impacted a variety of industries, including the travel and tourism industry. The tourism industry is truly the one that is harmed the most when there are limits on activities that take place outside. The purpose of this study is to improve human resources, particularly in regard to the management of the tourism object located in Kampung Ciherang Tanjung Sari, which is located in the Sumedang Regency. The data and information acquired is then processed once more with TOWS analysis. The findings of the analysis show that there are sufficient resources and good cooperation between Perhutani, LPI, and the local community in the management of attractions. In spite of this, it is indisputable that there are still a variety of facets that, in aggregate, need to be enhanced, beginning with the consolidation of capital, the maintenance of effective human resource management, and the addition of a venue for pupils.

Abstract

Because the tourist industry is one of the most significant contributors to the overall expansion of a region's economy, it is imperative that all aspects of tourism development be taken into consideration. When it comes to the development of tourism, one factor that needs to be taken into consideration is the issue of human resources. As a result, the purpose of this study is to investigate the function of human resources in the expansion of tourism as a means of boosting the income of the Sumedang district. The approach of qualitative descriptive analysis was utilized in the course of this research. And the data collection instruments include things like observations, document analyses, interviews, and studies of published works of literature. This is how the data is collected. According to the findings of the study, the efforts made by the government of the Sumedang district in order to increase the income of the region include the development of all tourism potentials that are now available. In addition to the role that infrastructure plays in the development of tourism, the role of natural resources also plays an important role; as a result, education and training are required, particularly for human resources, which are primarily the community that is located around tourist attractions

Abstract

Gold has long been a very profitable investment. Gold protects from all financial risks due to even a bad economic situation or is also called a safe haven. In addition, there is stock investment which is an alternative to existing investments. In some countries, shares provide very large profits for shareholders. During a booming economy, stocks are the next choice after gold. On the other hand, if the economy is difficult, investors will turn to gold. There is a connection between the two investments. It could be gold that affects the stock price because with the low price of gold all investors will look for alternatives to gold investment, namely stock investment. At a certain time, stock investment will provide more results. There is a need to investigate the relationship between gold and Islamic stocks and Islamic stocks and gold. If you know the two directions of the relationship, it will be easy to predict the two investments. As for the two data through differencing so that the data becomes stationary. By using Grangger causality will test the existence of a relationship between the two. The results of two variables do not have a significant relationship. Neither gold nor Islamic stocks affect each other.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of service quality and price on patient satisfaction. The research method used in this study is a quantitative method. The data collection instrument used was a questionnaire using a sample of 68 respondents. The respondents in this study were patients who visited for treatment or health consultations to the 3R Primary Clinic. The data analysis method uses validity and reliability tests, classical assumptions, multiple linear regression, coefficient of determination and hypothesis testing. Based on the results of statistical testing, the following results were obtained: Service quality has a positive and significant influence on patient satisfaction. Price has a positive and significant effect on patient satisfaction. Quality of service and price Simultaneously using the F test is known to have a positive and significant effect on outpatient satisfaction at the 3R Pratama Clinic in Sukabumi City,

Abstract

The front cover of a magazine has meaning that deserves to be analyzed more deeply and becomes one of the attractiveness factors that show the characteristics of a magazine so that readers can easily identify the magazine. In this article, the researcher presents a systematic review of articles on semiotic analysis of magazine covers contained in journal articles that have been published in the academic database. This study aims to enable readers to easily find, summarize, organize, and synthesize information about semiotic analysis of magazine covers in print media. This study follows a systematic article review method, the researcher has set 3 research questions and 75 scientific articles that answer these questions. Therefore, this study conducted a systematic review and synthesized empirical findings on semiotic analysis of magazine cover images through the academic databases of SAGE Journals, Taylor & Francis, and Wiley Journal from 2016 to 2021. The researcher found that the literature on this topic is broad and diverse with contributions from various disciplines and theoretical and methodological approaches. Based on the researcher's findings, the journals that publish the most are the Visual Communication Journal with 15 Research Articles and Social Semiotics with 14 Research Articles which are dominated by Western countries such as UK, Denmark, Italy, Sweden and USA. The dominant method applied is Semiotics from various models such as Semiotic Chandler's model, Semiotic Charles Sanders Pierce, and Social Semiotic. In this semiotic analysis, we study things that are related to signs. It is hoped that the results of this research can contribute to the study of communication science and provide references for researchers who can enrich the results of a study using the semiotic analysis method and can be used as insight and knowledge in understanding the meaning conveyed on the cover of a magazine.
