Abstract

Diversity in Indonesia, including language, culture, tradition and religion, often leads to conflicts due to the differences present. Therefore, progressive solutions are needed to address these issues. This study aims to understand the concept of religious moderation in Islamic Education in Indonesia, particularly as outlined in Q.S. al-Baqarah verse 143, which teaches moderation or wasathiyah. However, its application requires extra effort due to the complex challenges involved. The issues are addressed using qualitative research, with data collection methods including library research. Data is obtained from the Quranic exegesis, relevant books, and journals on moderation. The data is then analyzed using descriptive analysis techniques. The findings conclude that the concept of moderation in Q.S. al-Baqarah verse 143 is referred to as al-wasathiyah, a word that originally means "in the middle between two extremes" or "with justice, moderation, or standard." Moderation can only be manifested when four key elements are united: honesty, openness, compassion, and flexibility. In teaching Islamic religious education, teachers are expected to apply these principles by being open, a valuing all student opinions, avoiding discrimination, and being responsive and kind. Teachers should also prioritize dialogue, as positive interactions between teachers and students foster a lively and engaging classroom environment.

Abstract

This article discusses the values of Islamic education contained in the Al-Qur'an surah Al-Kahf verses 66-82, Islamic education is a teaching and learning process that is carried out consciously and is based on the Al-Qur'an and Hadith with the aim that the object The goal of education is being able to achieve goals that are in accordance with the concept of Islamic teachings. However, the phenomenon that is occurring in the world of education today is a reflection of the decline in students' manners towards teachers. This can be seen by the large number of students who do not have good manners in speaking, behaving and dressing which is not in accordance with the concept of Islamic teachings, all of which shows that morals, morals and manners are very worrying. This research aims to be a reference for students to be able to adopt the values of Islamic education so that people are able to emulate the lessons in the stories of Prophet Musa and Prophet Khidir. This research is literature research with a descriptive-analytical approach, namely relating to the analysis of interpretations of the values of Islamic education in the Al-Qur'an surah Al-Kahf verses 66-82. The results of this research show that the values of Islamic education contained in Surah Al-Kahf verses 66-82 include curiosity, humility, patience, respect for teachers, admitting mistakes and apologizing, sincerity, critical thinking and helping. These values are contained in every story passed by Prophet Musa and Prophet Khidir.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the concept of girls' education in the Al-Qur'an Surah Ali Imran verses 35-37 in Tafsir Al-Misbah by Quraish Shihab. This research uses a literature review (Library Research). The researcher conducted a study of Quraish Shihab's thoughts or ideas contained in his book Tafsir Al Misbah which was then linked to Surah Ali Imran verses 35-37 which relate to the concept of girls education. There are two sources of data in this research, namely the primary source is data obtained directly from the original source, in this research the primary sources are the Al-Qur'an and the Book of Tafsir Al Misbah by Quraish Shihab. Secondary sources are data that are not directly related to the original source and aim to complement primary data. In this data the author uses interpretive books written by Indonesian figures as well as from journals related to the theme. Researchers will use library techniques to obtain data in this research. The results of this research, namely in Tafsir Al-Misbah, Quraish Shihab outlines his views on girls' education based on Surah Ali 'Imran verses 35-37. He explained that 'Imran's family is an example of how to educate children so that they become righteous and pious descendants. This can be achieved by imitating the Prophet in family matters, praying for children, and emphasizing the importance of education that fosters obedience to Allah. Quraish Shihab emphasized that the right to education must be given to girls equally as to boys. The right environment is also very important in the child's growth and development process. Apart from religious education, attention to social education is also necessary to equip children to interact with society.

Abstract

This research discusses the concept of family education in the Qur'anic perspective, particularly through the study of Surah Thaaha verse 132. This verse emphasizes the importance of educating the family, especially in the spiritual aspect, focusing on the obligation to establish prayer and maintain a good relationship with Allah. In this verse, there is an order to encourage family members to pray consistently and patiently. Family education in this perspective is not only an individual responsibility, but involves all family members to jointly uphold religious values. This research uses thematic interpretation method to explore the educational values in the verse, as well as how it is applied in Muslim family life. It is found that education in the family should be holistic, covering spiritual, moral, and social aspects, with the main goal of forming a strong character in faith and obedience to Allah.

Abstract

This study aims to examine Quraish Shihab's thoughts on Islamic education in the family in the Tafsir Al-Misbah of Surah Al-Alaq verses 1-5 through Quraish Shihab's thoughts on Islamic education in the family in Surah Al-'Alaq verses 1-5 emphasizing the importance of reading, learning, and knowledge as a basis for character and moral formation in education. Quraish Shihab, through his interpretation, emphasizes the role of the family as the first and foremost educational institution in instilling religious and intellectual values. This study uses qualitative methods and the type of research used in is library research. With a descriptive-analytical approach to examine the interpretation and its relationship to education in the family. The results of the study indicate that Quraish Shihab's thoughts in the Tafsir Al-Misbah provide relevant guidance for the development of education based on Islamic values in the family, especially in the spiritual, intellectual, and moral development of children. So in this article it can be concluded that the role of the family as the first educational institution is highly emphasized, where parents are expected to be able to instill religious, spiritual, and intellectual values in children from an early age starting by teaching children to read and introducing Allah through the source of the Qur'an. This interpretation is relevant in the context of modern education to strengthen religious values and moral integrity in the family.

Abstract

Flooding is one of the unexpected natural phenomena that often occurs in all parts of Indonesia, one of which is in the tourist village of Bukit Lawang Plantation. Precisely on November 2, 2003, a flash flood occurred. Therefore, at this time the flood hazard in Bukit Lawang Plantation Village is clearly visible, it is necessary to know how vulnerable the flood danger is in Bahorok district, so that the community can anticipate and be vigilant if the flood disaster occurs again. This study aims to analyze the vulnerability and effectiveness of strengthening community collaboration in disaster mitigation in Bukit Lawang Plantation Village, Bahorok District, Langkat Regency. This area is one of the ecotourism destinations that is prone to flood disasters, especially flash floods that have occurred several times. The approach used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method with data collection through interviews, field observations, and documentation studies. This study identifies various factors that affect the level of vulnerability of communities to disasters, including physical, social, economic, and environmental vulnerabilities. The results of the study show that collaboration between the local community, the government, and related parties in disaster mitigation in Bukit Lawang Village has not been optimal. Despite several mitigation efforts such as riverbank elevation and disaster preparedness training, communities still face high risks due to a lack of effective coordination and engagement. In addition, community vulnerability is exacerbated by limited access to mitigation resources and a lack of understanding of disaster risk. This study recommends increasing more effective collaboration between local communities, governments, and the private sector through community-based mitigation programs, which involve disaster education, capacity building, and better infrastructure planning. Strengthening this collaboration is expected to increase community resilience to future disaster threats and support the sustainability of ecotourism in Bukit Lawang.

Abstract

Transformational leadership, as one of the most studied leadership theories, has great potential to support and strengthen the implementation of multicultural education. Transformational leadership is characterized by a leader's ability to inspire, motivate and empower followers to achieve positive change and improved performance. Multicultural education is urgently implemented in Indonesia by considering the diversity of cultures, ethnicities, races and religions that surround it. This article discusses a school leadership model that is expected to design, foster, implement and maintain a multicultural culture in schools which in turn can form students' personalities who are friendly and respectful of differences and diversity. The author uses the literature study method by reviewing 20 journals divided into 10 national and 10 international journals. Data collection is done by sorting reference sources and scientific literature related to theories of school leadership, transformational leadership models and multicultural education, then reviewing and analyzing and presenting them in a systematic arrangement. The conclusion in this article states that transformational leadership by school principals is very important to improve the quality of education and encourage continuous improvement in schools. Principals' exemplary behaviors, such as punctuality, cleanliness and proactive problem-solving, earn them respect and positively influence school culture. Multicultural leadership in schools is interpreted as the extent to which principals implement policies, regulations and initiatives that promote a multicultural culture that is not limited to written documents but also includes the enforcement of rules and regulations.

Abstract

This study examines the history and management practices of ZISWAF (Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqf) in Indonesia through literature studies using secondary data from various library sources, reports of zakat institutions, and interviews with zakat managers and beneficiaries. The results of the study show that the management of ZISWAF in Indonesia has undergone a significant evolution from the Dutch colonial period to the modern era. These developments include five important periods: the Dutch colonial period with the issuance of Ordinance No. 6200, the Old Order period which was marked by efforts to integrate zakat in the state system, the New Order period with the establishment of BAZIS, the era of Law No. 38 of 1999 which provided a formal legal basis for zakat management, to the era of Law No. 23 of 2011 which strengthened the zakat management system with Islamic sharia principles. trust, utility, justice, legal certainty, integrated, and accountability.

Abstract

The purpose of the study is to analyze the influence of Brand Awareness, Price and Social Media Promotion on purchase decisions, and to estimate religiosity to moderate the relationship between Brand Awareness, Price and Social Media Promotion on the purchase decision of Umama Hijab in UIN Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi Students.The research method uses a quantitative method with Correlation Research.the number of samples was 210 students of UIN Sjech M.Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. The sampling technique uses Purposive sampling. The data analysis used in this study is  the Warp Partial Least Square program  with the help of Warppls 7.0 software.The results of the study showed that Brand Awareness was Positive and Significant towards Purchase Decision with a β  value of 0.51 and a P-Value of 0.01 small from 0.05 with a contribution by an R2  value of 0.26 which means that the contribution  of Brand Awareness to the decision was 26%. Price has a positive and significant effect on the Purchase Decision with a β  value of 0.43 and a P-Value of 0.01 less than 0.05 with a contribution by an R2 value  of 0.19 which means that the contribution of Price to the purchase decision is 19%. Social media promotion has a positive and significant effect on Purchase Decisions with a β  value of 0.53 and a P-Value of 0.01 less than 0.05 with a contribution by an R2 value  of 0.28 which means that the contribution of Social Media Promotion to the purchase decision is 28%. Religiosity was able to moderate the influence of Brand Awareness on Purchase Decisions with  a moderation effect coefficient of 0.16 and a value and P-Value of 0.01 less than 0.05 with  a moderation effect  contribution shown by an R2 value of 0.28 (28%). Religiosity moderated the influence of Price on Purchase Decisions with  a moderation effect coefficient of 0.20 and a value and P-Value of 0.01 less than 0.05 with a contribution  to the moderation effect shown by  the R2 value of 0.22 (22%).Religiosity moderated the influence of Social Media Preferences on Purchase Decisions with  a moderation effect coefficient of 0.19 and a value and P-Value of 0.01 less than 0.05 with  a moderation effect  contribution shown by an R2 value of 0.31 (31%).
