Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Supreme Court Regulation (PERMA) No. 5 of 2019 concerning Guidelines for Examining Marriage Dispensation Applications and its impact on adolescent reproductive health in Sumenep Regency. The research employs a combination of normative and descriptive qualitative methods with a socio-legal approach. Data were collected through document studies, interviews, FGDs, and field observations, and analyzed using triangulation of sources and methods. The findings reveal that although PERMA No. 5/2019 emphasizes the principle of the best interests of the child, in practice, decisions are still largely influenced by social, cultural, and economic factors. As a result, adolescents who marry early are exposed to reproductive health risks such as anemia, pregnancy complications, and stunting in children. This study highlights the urgent need for synergy between the judiciary, health sector, educational institutions, and village communities to reduce the prevalence of child marriage.

Abstract

Implementation of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) at the Regional Inspectorate of East Nusa Tenggara Province is carried out. Based on the formulation of the problem, the objective of this research is to describe the implementation of the Government Internal Control System (SPIP) at the Regional Inspectorate of East Nusa Tenggara Province. The data analysis technique used is descriptive qualitative analysis, in which data obtained from respondents will subsequently be analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results of the data analysis carried out using the Miles and Huberman model show that the results obtained from interviews with 10 respondents indicate that the indicators of SPIP elements, namely the Control Environment, Risk Assessment, Control Activities, Information and Communication, and Monitoring, have been implemented. However, the implementation has not yet been optimal because there are still limitations in the understanding and competence of employees regarding principles and mechanisms of SPIP, as well as the lack of commitment, coordination, and support from Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the PDCA cycle (Plan, Do, Check, Act) in academic supervision and its impact on teacher professionalism in public junior high schools (SMP) in Kabupaten Anambas. The study is motivated by the need to enhance teacher professionalism, which includes lesson planning, assessment, reflection, and professional collaboration. Academic supervision has so far tended to be administrative in nature, making the application of the PDCA cycle—introduced by William Edwards Deming—relevant for creating supervision that is systematic, reflective, and oriented toward continuous improvement. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method conducted in three public junior high schools (SMPN 1 Siantan Utara and SMPN 2 Bayat). Data were collected through in-depth interviews with teachers, principals, and supervisors; observations of supervision documents and lesson plans (RPP); and focus group discussions. Thematic analysis was used to identify changes in practice and contextual factors influencing the implementation of PDCA. The results show that PDCA-based academic supervision improves more thorough lesson planning, more consistent professional reflection, concrete follow-up actions, and more intensive teacher collaboration. However, the success of PDCA implementation is influenced by enabling factors such as transformational school leadership, supervisor support, teacher openness, availability of supervision instruments, and an organizational culture that supports learning; and it is hindered by time constraints, varying levels of understanding of PDCA, administrative workload, resistance from entrenched cultural norms, and limited technology. These findings reinforce the theory that PDCA-based academic supervision is more effective than conventional models and provide practical recommendations for policies aimed at improving the quality of education in public junior high schools.

Abstract

The current era of digitalisation has brought about changes in public communication within government institutions. This is also the case at the West Java Provincial Teacher and Education Personnel Centre (BBGTK Jabar), which is the technical implementation centre of the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) tasked with providing training and competency development for teachers and education personnel in the province of West Java. Public communication plays a role in every activity carried out by this institution. This study aims to analyse the positive and effective influence of endogenous variables, namely brand image and brand awareness, on exogenous variables, namely the performance of BBGTK Jabar, through social media engagement as a mediating variable. The type of research used is descriptive and verificative with an explanatory survey research method. The data used are primary and secondary data, where the primary data collection technique is through surveys, while secondary data are obtained through literature studies, journals, articles, and websites. The research population was determined using the Slovin formula with a margin of error of 10%, resulting in 100 respondents consisting of teachers and educational staff who are active users of BBGTK Jabar social media. The research instrument was measured using a 5-point Likert scale, and data analysis was performed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM). The results of the analysis show that brand image and brand awareness have a direct positive and effective influence on BBGTK Jabar performance through social media engagement as a mediating variable.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze social media and influencer marketing strategies in building sustainable tourism awareness in the coastal areas of West Sulawesi. This research uses a qualitative case study method. The research location is West Sulawesi Province. Research informants consisted of the tourism office, tourist destination managers, tourists, and local influencers. A purposive sampling technique was used to determine informants based on certain criteria. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with informants, direct field observations, and documentation. Data were analyzed using thematic analysis with the help of NVivo software. To ensure data validity, source triangulation techniques were used. The results show that social media plays a primary promotional tool capable of shaping perceptions and increasing tourist engagement in sustainable tourism awareness. Meanwhile, influencers have proven effective in conveying sustainability messages through educational content and are able to positively influence tourist behavior. This study also revealed that community involvement is still strong in aspects of destination management, but not optimal in digital promotion. Furthermore, challenges were identified in terms of facility readiness and coordination between stakeholders. This emphasizes the importance of strategic collaboration between the government, the community, and digital actors to realize sustainable tourism awareness.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of Working Capital Turnover (WCTO), Cash Turnover, Cash Ratio, and Debt to Equity Ratio (DER) on profitability, as measured by the Net Profit Margin (NPM), in palm oil plantation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2020–2024 period. Profitability is a key indicator of financial performance, especially in industries heavily reliant on operational efficiency and working capital management. This study employs a quantitative method using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consists of 12 palm oil companies selected through purposive sampling. The results reveal that Cash Turnover and DER have a significant effect on profitability, while WCTO and Cash Ratio do not have a significant individual impact. However, all four variables jointly have a significant effect on profitability. These findings suggest that companies must optimize their working capital efficiency and maintain a balanced capital structure to enhance financial performance.

Abstract

Weak or non-transparent ESG reports regarding governance structure and internal control policies can signal to auditors a high inherent risk of control failure, which in turn increases the risk of material misstatement due to fraud. This study aims to examine the effect of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) disclosure on audit quality, as well as the effect of company size and industry complexity as moderating variables in manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the period 2020 to 2024. The research sample was determined using purposive sampling. The study uses a causal associative method with a quantitative approach and panel data regression analysis. The statistical data processing and analysis were carried out using STATA statistical software. The results showed that disclosure of environmental aspects had no effect on audit quality. In contrast, social and governance aspects have a negative effect on audit quality. This finding indicates that the higher the social and governance score of a company, the auditor tends to consider the audit risk lower, thus reducing the need for additional independent audits. Simultaneously, social and governance are also proven to reduce audit quality. Firm size is not shown to moderate the relationship between ESG and audit quality, as both large and small firms may experience an exaggerated perception of high ESG reputation. However, industry complexity is shown to positively moderate the relationship between social and governance aspects and audit quality. In complex industries, despite high ESG scores, the demand for rigorous audit oversight still increases due to the high potential reporting risks. This study provides an empirical contribution in understanding the dynamics of ESG influence on audit in Indonesia's manufacturing sector, and suggests the importance of considering operational complexity factors in designing an effective audit oversight system.

Abstract

Intervention refers to disturbances caused by internal or external variables, such as market changes, international events, or policy shifts. The dataset used in this study contains three intervention events, referred to as a multi-input intervention. The data consist of car production figures from PT Astra Daihatsu Motor obtained from the official GAIKINDO website. The forecasting task focuses on predicting PT Astra Daihatsu Motor’s production, which was influenced by three major interventions: policy changes in 2013, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, and the increase in SUV production in 2022. This study compares ARIMA and LSTM models for car production forecasting. The dataset covers monthly production data from January 2010 to June 2024, with a total of 174 observations. RMSE, MAPE, and SMAPE are employed as accuracy measures. Based on the testing data (May 2023–June 2024), the results show that the LSTM model outperforms ARIMA in capturing trend patterns, with lower error values of RMSE (4587.65), MAPE (10.37), and SMAPE (10.39), compared to ARIMA with RMSE (5059.48), MAPE (11.59), and SMAPE (10.50). Accordingly, LSTM represents a relevant and robust modeling alternative for production forecasting in operational decision-making, owing to its flexibility and strong capability in capturing complex data patterns.
