Abstract

Online transportation services in Indonesia offer access to very easy transportation features, this poses a significant risk that worsens the guarantee of consumer protection. Even though the standards that must be achieved through a second analysis of three reasons: feasibility, governance, and the principle of accountability, if a violation occurs, what should consumers do. Through careful analysis, a dissection of the rules can be carried out because strict responsibility in Law Number 8 of 1999 concerning Consumer Protection provides a general legal umbrella in Article 4 paragraph (1) which states that consumers have the right to comfort, security, and safety when using goods and/or services. However, the law has not specifically regulated the legal relationship between application providers, drivers, and consumers in the context of online services.

Abstract

Language development, particularly vocabulary mastery and speaking skills, is an important aspect of early childhood growth and development. One factor influencing a child's language development is the parenting style applied within the family. This study aims to determine the speaking skills of early childhood and analyze the influence of authoritarian parenting styles in families on the development of vocabulary and speaking skills of early childhood in early childhood education (PAUD) in Cireunghas District. This study used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The study population was 1,311 parents of early childhood children (4-6 years old) attending PAUD/TK in Cireunghas District, with a sample of 78 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using prerequisite tests and simple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the data were normally distributed and the relationship between variables was linear. The results of the simple linear regression test indicated that authoritarian parenting styles significantly influenced the development of vocabulary and speaking skills of early childhood. This finding suggests that the higher the implementation of authoritarian parenting styles in the family, the greater the potential for inhibiting the development of vocabulary and speaking skills of children. Therefore, a more communicative and dialogical parenting pattern needs to be developed by parents to optimally support the language development of early childhood.

Abstract

The increasing adoption of digital technologies has transformed competition in service industries, where human resources play a central role in value creation. While technology-driven innovation is widely recognized as a strategic resource, its contribution to competitive advantage largely depends on the organization’s human resource capabilities. This study examines how technology-driven innovation enhances competitive advantage through the development of service innovation, which reflects the effective utilization of human resource capabilities in service industries. Using a quantitative research design, data were collected from service-sector organizations and analyzed using Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The measurement model was assessed for reliability and validity, while the structural model was evaluated using path coefficients, coefficient of determination (R²), effect size (f²), and mediation analysis. The findings indicate that technology-driven innovation has a significant positive effect on service innovation and competitive advantage. Service innovation also significantly influences competitive advantage and partially mediates the relationship between technology-driven innovation and competitive advantage. These results suggest that technological investments generate greater competitive value when they are leveraged through human resource capabilities that support innovative service delivery. This study contributes to the human resource management and strategic management literature by highlighting the role of human resource capabilities as a key mechanism for transforming technology-driven innovation into sustainable competitive advantage. Practically, the findings emphasize the importance of aligning digital transformation initiatives with human capital development in service industries.

Abstract

This study examines the legal and professional practice of the role of notaries in regulating capital markets in Indonesia, focusing on the functions and responsibilities of notaries as public officials who play a role in ensuring legal certainty over documents and agreements that form the basis of capital market activities. In a regulatory context, the role of notaries is regulated by Law Number 2 of 2014 concerning the Office of Notaries, Law Number 8 of 1995 concerning Capital Markets, and various implementing regulations from the Financial Services Authority (OJK). Using a normative juridical approach, this study examines the involvement of notaries in the process of registering securities issuances, drafting deeds of establishment and amendments to issuers' articles of association, as well as ratifying underwriting agreements and information disclosure in the capital market. The results indicate that notaries play a strategic role in maintaining transparency, legality, and accountability in capital market activities, while also acting as a bridge between legal interests between issuers, investors, and regulators. However, field practice still presents challenges, such as a lack of understanding of capital market instruments among notaries and the potential for conflicts of interest in carrying out their duties. Therefore, it is necessary to improve the professional competence of notaries and align their professional code of ethics with the principles of good corporate governance to strengthen the integrity and effectiveness of legal oversight in the Indonesian capital market sector.

Abstract

Electric buses are increasingly promoted as a sustainable public transportation solution in Indonesia's urban areas, yet their adoption rate from the user perspective remains relatively limited. This study aims to develop a user-oriented conceptual framework to explain the adoption process of electric bus services within Indonesia's urban public transportation system. The study employs a systematic literature review approach following PRISMA guidelines, analysing scientific articles published from 2015 to 2025, with a total of 30 studies examined in depth. Through content analysis, 13 main constructs were identified that integrate behavioral, psychological, technology acceptance, service attribute, and risk perception dimensions, based on the Technology Acceptance Model and the Theory of Planned Behaviour. Based on this synthesis, this study proposes a process-based conceptual framework that maps the stages of electric bus adoption, from evaluating service attributes to actual usage. To strengthen its empirical applicability, the constructs were operationalized into measurable questionnaire indicators adapted from prior studies and supported through expert review and pilot testing with electric bus users. This framework is positioned as an exploratory model to support the identification of factor structures and serve as a basis for empirical Research and the formulation of sustainable public transportation policies in Indonesia.

Abstract

Sales forecasting accuracy is crucial for operational efficiency, inventory optimization, and service reliability in commodity and logistics industries. ABC Company faces persistent challenges in achieving reliable forecasts, leading to frequent rescheduling, shipment adjustments, and cross-functional misalignment. This research aims to identify the major factors affecting forecast accuracy at ABC Company, develop solutions to address root causes, and determine the most appropriate forecasting approach. Using the Lean Six Sigma DMAIC framework, it analyzes historical data (Jan 2024-Dec 2025) with MAPE, Forecast Bias, and RMSE metrics. Qualitative data from stakeholder interviews reveal primary drivers: weak forecasting governance, insufficient integration of execution feasibility, lack of stable forecasts, and unstructured expert judgement. The study proposes a four-stream improvement framework focusing on forecast governance stabilization, feasibility integration, quantitative forecast improvement, and structured expert judgement integration via Expert Knowledge Elicitation. A control mechanism with SOPs, RACI, KPI monitoring, and regular reviews ensures sustainable improvement.

Abstract

Decision Number 17/Pid.Sus-TPK/2023/PN Plk, handed down by the Palangka Raya Corruption Court against defendants Ben Brahim S. Bahat, former Regent of Kapuas, and Ary Egahni, member of the Indonesian House of Representatives, is an example of the application of additional penalties in corruption cases. The judge not only imposed the principal penalty of imprisonment and a fine, but also additional penalties in the form of a replacement payment of Rp8.8 billion and revocation of political rights to be elected to public office for five years after completing the sentence. This study aims to analyze the judge's considerations in imposing these additional penalties using normative, philosophical, and sociological approaches, and in relation to applicable criminal theories in Indonesia. The results of the analysis indicate that the additional penalty of replacement money was imposed based on Article 18 of the Corruption Law and Supreme Court Regulation Number 5 of 2014, with the consideration of returning state losses proportionally. Meanwhile, the revocation of political rights is based on Article 35 of the Criminal Code and the Constitutional Court Decision which confirms the constitutionality of the revocation of political rights of corruption perpetrators. From a sentencing theory perspective, the judge balanced the objectives of retributive, deterrence, and corrective justice. This decision demonstrates that the court not only upholds the law but also safeguards the integrity of democracy and rebuilds public trust in anti-corruption efforts.
