Abstract

This study aims to increase public awareness of DR prevention through education, screening, and training of health cadres. The methods used in this program include health education, interactive discussion sessions, and eye screening for participants at risk. The education was conducted in three sessions with a total of 150 participants consisting of diabetes sufferers, families, and the general public. Health screening involved 70 participants to detect the possibility of DR at an early stage. In addition, 10 health cadres were trained to assist in providing education to the surrounding community. The results of the program showed an 85% increase in participants' understanding of DR prevention based on a post-education survey. Although no DR cases were found in the screening, this activity still provided benefits in increasing public awareness of the importance of routine eye examinations. Health cadre training also had a positive impact by strengthening the role of the community in ongoing education. With a community-based approach and collaboration between hospitals and the community, this program is expected to contribute to reducing the incidence of DR and improving the quality of life of diabetes sufferers.

Abstract

This study explores the influence of digitalization on family communication by analyzing literature that discusses family interactions in the digital age. The findings show that digital technology facilitates communication across distances and time, enabling family members to stay connected despite being physically distant and increasing parents' involvement in their children's lives. However, the findings also reveal the negative impacts of over-reliance on digital devices, including a decline in the quality of face-to-face interactions and potential risks such as exposure to inappropriate content and cyberbullying. In conclusion, although digitalization offers various benefits for family communication, the wise management of technology use is necessary to balance the benefits of digital communication with maintaining interpersonal closeness and strong emotional relationships.

Abstract

The development of cryptocurrency as an investment instrument is increasingly attracting the attention of investors, especially among the digital community. However, investment decisions in this asset are often influenced by psychological biases, such as herding bias and overconfidence, which can lead to irrational and high-risk decision-making. This study aims to analyze the effect of herding bias and overconfidence on cryptocurrency investment decisions, with financial literacy as a moderating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method based on Partial Least Squares (PLS) to test the relationship between variables. Primary data were collected through questionnaires distributed online to members of the Tokocrypto Official Group community with a sample of 100 respondents selected using the snowball sampling technique. The results of the study show that herding bias has no significant effect on cryptocurrency investment decisions, while overconfidence has a positive and significant effect on investment decisions. However, financial literacy is not proven to significantly moderate the relationship between herding bias and overconfidence on investment decisions. This finding indicates that even though investors have a good level of financial literacy, psychological factors still play a dominant role in making investment decisions in cryptocurrency. This study contributes to enriching the literature on behavioral finance by revealing the limited role of financial literacy in suppressing psychological bias in risky investment decisions. The practical implications of this study emphasize the need for investment education that focuses not only on financial literacy, but also on controlling psychological aspects in investment decision making.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools (pondok pesantren) play a crucial role in the rapid development of MSMEs. This study was conducted at the Al-Bismi Islamic Boarding School Association to analyze the influence of digital accounting and digital literacy on financial report preparation, with user capability as a moderating variable. This research employs an explanatory research method with a quantitative approach. Hypothesis testing was conducted using Partial Least Squares (PLS). The study's subjects include Islamic boarding school administrators and students managing MSMEs owned by the pesantren. The variables examined in this study include digital accounting, digital literacy, financial report preparation, and user capability. The results indicate that digital accounting and digital literacy significantly influence financial report preparation. However, user capability does not moderate the effect of digital accounting on financial report preparation, nor does it moderate the effect of digital literacy on financial report preparation.

Abstract

Changes in the pattern of public information consumption in the digital era have brought about major transformations in the field of journalism. With easier access to information through various digital platforms and social media, people increasingly rely on mobile devices to get news quickly and instantly. This requires traditional media to adapt to new business models that are more oriented to audience needs and utilize the potential of data analysis to optimize content distribution. Digital journalism has emerged in response to these changes, offering a more interactive and engaging way of presenting news through the use of multimedia. However, there is a major challenge in maintaining the integrity and credibility of the news amid the rapid flow of information that is sometimes unverified. In facing this challenge, it remains important for journalists and media institutions to uphold the principles of ethics and professionalism in news reporting. Thus, the digital era provides opportunities as well as challenges for the world of journalism, requiring various parties to continue to innovate and prioritize the quality and accuracy of information presented to the public. Digital literacy and continuous training are crucial so that journalists and the public can adapt to the changes that occur, and still have access to credible and trustworthy information.

Abstract

Stability is a condition of a system whose components tend to fall into, or return to, an established relationship. Stability is the same as the absence of fundamental or chaotic changes in a political system, or changes that occur within agreed or predetermined boundaries. Development requires security and stability. The development itself must also include security and stability, even the development of security and stability is carried out together with development in other fields. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods, with data collection techniques in the form of literature studies by looking at previous studies, as well as online news as a supporting source. From the data obtained, it will be processed by linking it with the theories that have been previously designed. The approach to political stability as a form of government resilience can be seen from the government management system related to the economy, social, and state security, thus creating political stability in it. Singapore's government tends to have good governance so that it affects the level of the economy and the stability of the country itself, in contrast to Thailand and Myanmar which have a fluctuating index. Especially Myanmar, which has the smallest index for 10 years below the index of 20. This is influenced by the leadershipofr of the warring parties so that it has an impact on coups that often occur.

Abstract

Environmental issues such as global warming, the greenhouse effect, and drastic climate change, as well as social issues such as meeting the needs of both workers and interested parties continue to increase, and urge the development of innovative financial products. Manufacturing companies are currently in the spotlight of various interested parties, there are 8 industrial sectors that contribute large amounts of carbon emissions, namely: cement industry, steel industry, pen and paper industry, textile industry, ceramic industry, fertilizer industry, petrochemical industry, and food and beverage industry. This concern for the environment must continue to be improved seeing that the impact of company operations is very significant starting from the greenhouse gas effect which continues to increase every day. As a country committed to the climate change control agenda, Indonesia has developed regulations, action programs and systems and mechanisms to reduce GHG emissions to meet the Nationally Determined Contribution (NDC) target and control GHG emissions in national development. One of the supporting mechanisms developed is the Value of Carbon Economy.
