Abstract

The aim of this research is to find out the impact of emotional and spiritual intelligence on employee performance. The data gathering techniques in this study are done with observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The population in this study was selected based on the total number of employees of a total of 28 employees at PT Indomarco Prismatama Sukadana East Lampung. In this study, the researchers used saturated sampling. Based on the results of the calculation of the test t through the coefficients table obtained variable significance values of X1 of 0.017 and X2 of 0.019. While simultaneously, through the anova table known significance of 0.003 is a small result of 0.05 which means Ha3 accepted that there is an influence of emotional intelligence and spiritual intelligence on the performance of employees in PT Indomarco Prismatama Sukadana East Lampung. The regression equation result is Y = 3.542 + 0.451 X1 + 0.381 X2, whereas R counts 0.611, which means that the degree of relationship between emotional intelligence (X1) and spiritual intelligences (X2) with employee performance (Y) is quite strong. Whereas the R squere value is 0.373, R Squere can be called a determination coefficient in this case, meaning that the regression model method can be used to predict the Y variable which means Emotional Intelligence and Spiritual Intelligence influence employees performance by 37.3% and the rest is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The China Railway Express (CR Express) is an international railway freight train organised by China Railway Corporation, which has been travelling between China and Europe since 2011. Since its inception, the volume of the CR Express train has increased year by year and the variety of foreign trade goods has been enriched. During the COVID-19, traditional transport channels such as sea and air transport were severely hit, while the volume and product range of the CR Express grew against the trend. Under the impact of the epidemic, the booming development of the CR Express trains could not have been achieved without the guidance and support of the state, i.e. the CR Express trains moved towards a more state-led development model.

Abstract

The advancement of the times, marked by progress in science and technology, has had a profound impact on human life. As thinking beings, humans continuously strive to develop various aspects of life to improve their quality of living. This process of change is ongoing, especially in the agricultural sector, which plays a crucial role in human life, and in industries such as PT. Great Giant Pineapple, one of the largest fruit plantation companies in Indonesia that has exported its pineapple products to nearly every corner of the world. The objective of this study is to determine and analyze the differences in Work In Progress (WIP) costs before and after the implementation of mechanization in the Banana Department at PT. Great Giant Pineapple PG4. The data used in this study are quantitative, and the methods for data collection include documentation and interviews. For data analysis, a two-sample independent t-test was employed. The results of the data analysis show that the Sig. (2-tailed) value from the Independent Samples Test table is 0.014, which is less than 0.05. Based on the decision criteria for the t-test, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected, indicating that there is a significant difference in WIP costs before and after the implementation of mechanization at PT. Great Giant Pineapple PG4 Banana Department. Prior to mechanization, there was an overcost of IDR 1,674,000,000, which was reduced to IDR 749,998,500 after mechanization, resulting in a total saving of IDR 924,001,500. This reduction is attributed to the shift from using 12 manual laborers to just 1 laborer operating a machine, which cut down the workforce by 11 people and simultaneously increased productivity and quality, processing land from 1 hectare to 7 hectares.

Abstract

This study conducted a review of the literature to analyze the dynamics of conflict and collaboration between local and central government in Indonesia. The aim of this research is to identify patterns and trends in these dynamics, as well as the underlying factors. The research presents findings from various articles and academic works that highlight changes in the relationship over time, challenges faced, as well as strategies used to improve intergovernmental cooperation. The research findings show that conflicts between local and central governments are often related to resource struggles, differences in interests, and lack of coordination. For example, conflicts related to the management of natural resources, such as forests and mining, often occur because local and central governments have different interests in their utilization. In addition, differences in regulations and policies between the two levels of government can also trigger conflict. On the other hand, collaboration between local and central governments is driven by factors such as common goals, effective communication, and strong leadership. This collaboration can be realized through various forms, such as cooperation in the preparation and implementation of development programs, exchange of information and data, and coordination in solving common problems. The results of this study provide valuable insights for practitioners at different levels of government to understand and effectively manage intergovernmental conflict and collaboration. Practitioners at the local and central government levels need to improve communication and coordination to minimize conflict and maximize collaboration. In addition, clear and consistent regulations and policies are needed at both levels of government to support effective collaboration. This research makes a new contribution to the understanding of the dynamics of the relationship between local and central government in Indonesia by identifying key factors that drive conflict and collaboration. It also demonstrates the important role of communication, coordination and leadership in building harmonious and productive intergovernmental relations.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the impact of tourist visits on increasing the income of business actors at the Hunimua-Liang Beach tourist attraction (ODTW), Central Maluku Regency. Respondent sampling was carried out using the purposive sampling method using qualitative analysis. These results indicate that the level of tourist visits at Hunimua-Liang Beach on weekdays and long holidays is not too busy. In contrast to the level of tourist visits on weekends, there are always lots of tourists who usually visit, usually mostly local tourists, there are also domestic and foreign tourists but not too many. The income of traders at Hunimua-Liang Beach on weekdays and long holidays is not very large because there are not too many tourists who come to visit so they don't sell much. In contrast to the income obtained on weekends, the income obtained is greater because many tourists come to visit and many people buy what they sell.
