Abstract

Menarche is the first sign of puberty in adolescent girls, marking the maturity of reproductive function. Lack of knowledge about menarche can cause anxiety, especially among students with disabilities. Audio-visual media are considered effective because they can convey information in a more interesting and easily understood way for children with special needs (Pratiwi et al., 2022). The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of audio-visual media on knowledge about menarche among female students with disabilities in Bengkulu City in 2025.  The research method used was a pre-experimental design with a one-group pretest-posttest approach. The sample consisted of 30 female students with disabilities who had not yet experienced menarche, selected using probability sampling techniques. Data collection was conducted using a questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. Data analysis was performed using the Wilcoxon test.  The results showed that before being exposed to audio-visual media, the majority of respondents were in the low knowledge category, with 19 individuals (63.3%), 9 individuals (30%) in the adequate category, and 2 individuals (6.7%) in the good category. After being provided with audio-visual media, almost all respondents were in the good category, namely 28 (93.3%) and 2 (6.7%) in the adequate category. The Wilcoxon test results showed a p-value of 0.001 (p 0.05), indicating a significant effect of audio-visual media on improving knowledge about menarche among disabled female students. Conclusion: Audio-visual media significantly influences the improvement of knowledge about menarche among disabled female students. This medium can serve as an effective educational alternative in reproductive health education.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of consumer motivation as a predictor of increasing purchase intention for organic products in Malang City. Specifically, this research will investigate various aspects of consumer motivation, such as utilitarian, hedonic, and ecological motivations, that impact consumer purchasing decisions. Utilitarian motivation focuses on the functional and health benefits of products, while hedonic motivation assesses the emotional satisfaction and positive experiences gained by consumers. On the other hand, ecological motivation relates to consumer awareness of environmental issues and product sustainability. The type of research used is quantitative, with sampling done using the purposive sampling method. The research findings indicate that consumer motivation (utilitarian, hedonic, and ecological) influences their purchase intention toward organic products. This research is expected to contribute to producers in designing more effective marketing strategies by understanding the motivational factors that drive consumers to purchase organic products and to offer vital perspectives on the development of the organic product business in an increasingly competitive market.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of work-life balance (WLB) and work motivation on turnover intention with compensation as an intervening variable among Generation Z employees in Bandar Lampung. The basis of this study stems from the high rate of job mobility among Gen Z who are sensitive to work-life balance, motivation, and reward schemes. The method employed is a quantitative study using a survey approach targeting 150 Gen Z respondents through a saturated sampling technique. Data analysis was conducted using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with Partial Least Squares (PLS), testing validity, reliability, multiple linear regression, determination coefficient, t-test, and F-test. The study results indicate that WLB and work motivation have a positive and significant influence on turnover intention and compensation. Compensation has a significant influence on turnover intention and is proven to mediate the relationship between WLB and work motivation toward turnover intention. The coefficient of determination (R²) reaching 65.6% indicates that this model can explain the majority of variations in the intention to change jobs. These results emphasize the significance of fair and flexible compensation, support for work-life balance, and enhanced work motivation in reducing turnover intention among Gen Z.

Abstract

High employee turnover remains a strategic challenge for many organizations, including PT Pesona Lazuardi Agung, a company operating in the international trade sector. This study aims to analyze the influence of job stress, workload, and work environment on employee turnover. Adopting a quantitative approach, the research employed the Partial Least Squares - Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, with data collected through structured questionnaires distributed to 44 employees. The findings indicate that all three independent variables positively affect turnover, with workload emerging as the most dominant factor significantly contributing to employees’ intention to leave. Job stress shows a smaller yet significant effect, while the work environment has a moderate impact, particularly when physical conditions and psychosocial relationships are not conducive. This study underscores the importance of managing workload and creating a healthy work environment as essential strategies to improve employee retention. The research is limited by its scope, focusing solely on a single company, and by the use of a quantitative method that does not fully capture the subjective experiences of employees. Future research is recommended to integrate qualitative methods and broaden the organizational scope to gain a more comprehensive and representative understanding of turnover drivers in various industrial contexts.

Abstract

This study examines the role of the Indonesian Trade Union Confederation (KSPI) in rejecting the 2020 Job Creation Law using Hannah Pitkin's political representation theory framework. The enactment of the Job Creation Law, which was drafted behind closed doors, with minimal public participation, and laden with capital interests, confirms the existence of a crisis of substantive representation in the legislature. It is in this context that KSPI emerged as a non-legislative actor attempting to fill the representation vacuum through litigation, mass actions, media campaigns, and international solidarity networks. This study uses a literature review method, examining academic documents, labor union reports, media coverage, and Constitutional Court decisions. The analysis reveals a paradox: while the KSPI has succeeded in pushing labor issues onto the public agenda and winning a conditional unconstitutional ruling, substantive achievements remain limited because core policies remain intact. These findings confirm that substantive representation does not always have to originate from legislative institutions, but can also be articulated by labor unions or other civil society actors. However, the effectiveness of such representation depends heavily on the extent to which they are able to penetrate formal political structures and build broader coalitions outside the arena of street protests.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of marketing mix strategies in the development of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions) services at Wisma Universitas Terbuka. The research employed a qualitative method with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The findings show that several elements of the 7Ps—such as product, place, price, and physical evidence—have been implemented quite well in supporting MICE services. However, significant weaknesses were identified in the aspects of promotion, process, and human resources. These weaknesses include the absence of a digital promotion strategy, the lack of standardized service procedures, and insufficiently professional competencies among the human resources in the MICE field. This study recommends a strategic integration of marketing mix elements to strengthen brand image and service quality, with particular emphasis on digital transformation and the development of professional human resources. The results are expected to serve as a foundation for formulating marketing strategies that are both applicable and adaptive to the dynamics of the competitive MICE industry, thereby reinforcing Wisma Universitas Terbuka’s position as a leading and reliable institutional MICE service provider.
