Abstract

This research was conducted to examine the effect of work-life balance, workload, and physical well-being on employee performance at PT Widodo Karya Sejahtera, with physical well-being acting as an intervening variable. The study employed a quantitative research design using a survey method by distributing questionnaires to production employees. The collected data were analyzed using the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) technique with the assistance of SmartPLS software. The findings indicate that work-life balance and physical well-being have a positive and significant influence on employee performance. Meanwhile, workload does not show a significant effect on employee performance. Furthermore, the results also demonstrate that physical well-being significantly mediates the relationship between work-life balance and workload with employee performance.

Abstract

TikTok provides broad opportunities for independent musicians to promote their songs and strengthen their personal branding without the support of major record labels. This study aims to analyze the role of marketing strategies on TikTok in providing positive impacts for these musicians. Using a qualitative approach with a case study method, data were collected through observation of relevant TikTok accounts and online interviews with independent musicians who actively use the platform. The results indicate that independent musicians utilize various creative strategies to expand their audience reach, including collaborating with other content creators, producing visually engaging videos with high-quality audio, and consistently uploading content that aligns with TikTok's algorithm dynamics. In conclusion, these strategies effectively enhance audience engagement and support the development of independent musicians' public image, confirming TikTok's positive role as a viable marketing platform outside the major label system.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between gamification and customer engagement with perceived enjoyment as a mediating variable. A quantitative survey was conducted on 75 users of the Gojek application in Malang City, analyzed using PLS-SEM. The findings indicate that gamification does not directly influence customer engagement, but significantly affects perceived enjoyment. In turn, perceived enjoyment positively influences customer engagement and fully mediates the relationship between gamification and engagement. These results suggest that user engagement is driven more by emotional experience than by gamification features alone, emphasizing the importance of enjoyable user interactions in digital platforms

Abstract

This study examines the effects of transformational leadership and innovative work behavior on employee performance at PT. Cipta Niaga Semesta, an FMCG distribution company in Bojonegoro, East Java. A quantitative approach was used, involving all 50 employees as both population and sample through saturated sampling, with data analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0. The results show that transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and on innovative work behavior, while innovative work behavior has no significant effect on employee performance. This implies that strengthening transformational leadership is a more effective lever for improving performance than innovative work behavior alone. The study is limited to a single company and a cross-sectional design, which restricts generalizability.

Abstract

This study analyzes the effect of compensation and work discipline on employee performance with work motivation as an intervening variable at Aneka Jaya Demak 2 Supermarket. A quantitative survey method was applied to 60 employees using saturated sampling, with data analyzed via PLS-SEM. Results show that compensation and work discipline significantly affect both employee performance and work motivation. Work motivation also significantly affects performance and emerges as the strongest factor. Moreover, work motivation mediates the relationship between compensation and work discipline and employee performance. These findings imply that improving performance requires fair compensation, good discipline, and enhanced motivation. Companies should therefore optimize all three factors simultaneously.
