Abstract

The interpretation of the meaning of qawwām in QS An-Nisā’ verse 34 is often reduced to the concept of absolute power, thus blurring the lexical distinction between the roots (Q-W-M) and (S-W-D) in classical Arabic. This study aims to reconstruct the lexical meaning of qawwām contextually through a philological-semantic study based on classical Arabic poetry as the main data source. The research data were collected through documentation techniques on eleven representative Arabic poetry stanzas from the Jahiliyah, Mukhadramūn, and early Islamic periods that contain the use of the roots (Q-W-M) and (S-W-D). Data analysis was carried out qualitatively with a philological-semantic approach, including the muqābalah technique to compare the meaning fields between lexemes, as well as morpho-syntactic analysis to identify grammatical functions and semantic relations in the context of poetry. The results of the study show three main findings. First, siyādah operates within the semantic field of prestige and static status, while qawwāmah represents operational actions related to work, physical fatigue, and the responsibility of protection. Second, the use of architectural metaphors such as qiwām al-bayt and arkān emphasizes the meaning of qawwām as a structural load-bearing, not a symbol of domination. Third, the poetic critique of the negligent figure of qayyim al-qawm shows that qawwāmah is functional and responsibility-based, not hierarchical-essential. This finding confirms that the diction of qawwāmūn in QS An-Nisā’ verse 34 lexically contains a mandate for active service and accountability, not the legitimacy of patriarchal supremacy.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of conducting comprehensive and systematic evaluations in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) instruction, encompassing the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains. The study aims to describe the implementation of PAI learning evaluations at SD N 22 V Koto Kampung Dalam. A descriptive qualitative method with a case study approach was employed. The research subject was a single PAI teacher selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected via observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the interactive analysis model developed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which involves data condensation, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification. The results indicated that the learning evaluation is carried out in three stages: planning, implementation, and follow-up. Planning involves the preparation of evaluation tools; implementation entails assessing the cognitive, affective, and psychomotor domains; and follow-up is realized through remedial programs, enrichment activities, and instructional improvements. The study concludes that, while PAI evaluations at the school generally cover all three learning domains, there remains a need to develop assessment instruments, enhance consistency in affective and psychomotor assessments, and provide adequate learning facilities specifically, a prayer room (mushala) within the school premises

Abstract

The development of a digital platform-based economy has driven the transformation of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in urban areas, including Mataram City. This study aims to analyze the characteristics of digital platform-based businesses based on their type, regional distribution, and platforms used, as well as assess the potential and constraints of utilizing digital platform data as a source of local economic statistics. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach with secondary data collection techniques through online observations on five digital platforms: GrabFood, GoFood, Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook during March 2026. Data obtained from 445 business units were then classified based on business category, sub-district location, and platform type. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques and simple descriptive statistical analysis to identify distribution patterns and trends in digital platform usage. The results show that the culinary sector dominates at 96.6 percent, with the highest concentration in Mataram and Cakranegara Districts. GrabFood is the most dominant platform compared to other platforms. The research findings indicate that digital platform data has the potential to be a source of actual and real-time local economic information, but still faces obstacles in accessibility, data standards, and digital literacy. This study recommends integrating digital platform data with official statistics to strengthen the accuracy of local economic analysis

Abstract

The research and innovation competencies of students in madrasas have not yet developed optimally, so a change strategy is needed that is able to build a culture of research and innovation in a sustainable manner. This study aims to analyze the change management of Islamic school principals in improving students' research and innovation competencies at MTsN 7 Lima Puluh Kota. The study used a qualitative approach with field research. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation with informants consisting of Islamic school principals, supervising teachers, and students participating in the research and innovation program. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that Islamic school principals play a role as agents of change through strengthening a research culture, developing the Science Project and Technology Research Club (SPEKTRA) extracurricular program, teacher training, providing digital facilities, and collaborating with various parties. These strategies have been proven to support the improvement of students' research and innovation competencies, demonstrated through active involvement in research activities and achievements in national-level research competitions. These findings confirm that transformational leadership and change management are important factors in building a culture of innovation in madrasas.

Abstract

The phenomenon of underhand divorce is still common in Orodalam Village, even though the practice is not in accordance with applicable Indonesian law. This study aims to analyze the implications of underhand divorce on the fulfillment of the wife's and children's rights to maintenance, viewed from the perspective of Islamic law and positive law. This study uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was carried out through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions, and its validity was tested through extended observation and triangulation. The results show that underhand divorce is still often practiced because it is considered easier and cheaper, and is influenced by the low legal understanding of the community. From an Islamic legal perspective, underhand divorce is considered religiously valid if it meets the requirements and pillars of divorce, but has a negative impact on the fulfillment of the wife's and children's rights to maintenance. Meanwhile, from a positive legal perspective, such divorce has no legal force because it is not conducted through a Religious Court, thus complicating the enforcement of maintenance rights. This research is expected to provide academic contributions and become a consideration for the community and further research.

Abstract

Asset management in educational institutions is still largely manual, potentially leading to recording errors, reporting delays, and weak oversight of facilities and infrastructure. This study aims to evaluate and synthesize previous research findings related to the implementation of a QR code-based asset inventory system in the educational context. The study used a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach to 25 articles published between 2015 and 2026 and indexed in Scopus, ScienceDirect, Google Scholar, and Sinta. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of identification, screening, and eligibility of the literature, followed by thematic coding and narrative synthesis to group the main research findings. The results of the study indicate that the QR code-based inventory system is effective in reducing recording errors, accelerating the asset verification process, and increasing transparency in asset management through integration with web-based platforms and lifecycle management. In addition to its administrative function, QR codes have also developed as a supporting medium for interactive learning. The main challenges identified include limited digital infrastructure, user resistance, and data security issues. This study concludes that a QR code-based asset inventory system is an efficient and relatively low-cost solution for modern educational asset management.

Abstract

QS. Hud: 7 mentions the phrase سِتَّةَ أَيَّامٍ (six days or six periods) in the context of the creation of the heavens and the earth, which has long been the object of study by commentators, both classical and contemporary. On the other hand, the concept of سَبْعَةُ أَيَّامٍ (seven days) has been deeply rooted in global culture as a week system that regulates the rhythm of modern human life. This study aims to analyze the paradigm of reinterpretation of سِتَّةَ أَيَّامٍ in QS. Hud: 7 and other similar verses, such as QS. al-A‘raf: 54, QS. Yunus: 3, QS. al-Furqan: 59, QS. al-Sajdah: 4, QS. Qaf: 38, and QS. al-Hadid: 4, using the perspective of tafsir mawḍū‘ī, scientific, and contextual, while examining its relevance to the concept of seven days in contemporary culture. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach through library research based on tafsir mawḍū‘ī, and integrates Nurcholish Madjid's thoughts in his work Islam, Doctrine and Civilization as a theological basis. The results of the analysis show that the term أَيَّام in QS. Hud: 7 does not refer to a twenty-four-hour calendar day, but rather to a cosmological phase or stage that is in accordance with the findings of modern science. In addition, this study found an epistemological bridge between the concept of six periods of creation in the Qur'an and the universal seven-day week system. This integrative reinterpretation provides a more contextual theological foundation for Muslims in understanding the concept of time and the week system used in contemporary life

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of stepfathers in maintaining harmony in the families of married stepchildren from an Islamic legal perspective, with the research locus in Lemper Village, Pademawu District, Pamekasan Regency. The background of this study departs from the high phenomenon of stepfamilies in Madurese society and the unclear boundaries of the role of stepfathers after stepchildren establish their own households, which often triggers internal family conflicts. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a normative juridical and sociological approach. Primary data were obtained through in-depth interviews with religious leaders, community leaders, and stepfamilies, while secondary data are sourced from fiqh munakahat literature, the Compilation of Islamic Law, and the views of Islamic scholars. Data analysis was carried out interactively through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results show that stepfathers do not have a lineage relationship with their stepchildren, so they do not bear the obligation of maintenance, guardianship, or inheritance rights. After the stepchildren marry, the role of the stepfather ideally shifts to that of an advisor with ihsan qualities. Family harmony can be achieved if the stepfather avoids tadakhul fī mā lā ya‘nīhi and limits intervention only to conditions that are truly necessary.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of employer branding, social media, and company reputation on the job application interest of zillennial students who have just graduated from college in Bima City. This study uses a quantitative approach with an associative research type. The research sample consisted of 96 respondents determined using the Lemeshow formula. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires with a Likert scale. Data analysis included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, and multiple linear regression analysis with hypothesis testing through t-tests and F-tests. The results showed that employer branding, social media, and company reputation significantly influenced the job application interest of zillennial students, both partially and simultaneously. These three variables together were able to explain 66.5% of the variation in job application interest, while the rest was influenced by other factors outside the study. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening the company's image as an employer, effective use of social media, and maintaining the company's reputation in attracting job seekers from the zillennial generation.

Abstract

Regional economic development requires information on economic structure, sectoral advantages, sources of growth, and regional disparities as a basis for policy formulation. This study aims to analyze the economic structure, identify basic sectors and competitive advantages, and evaluate regional development disparities in Central Java Province for the 2021–2025 period. The study uses a quantitative approach with secondary data on Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at constant prices in 2010 published by the Central Statistics Agency. Data analysis was conducted descriptively using the Location Quotient (LQ), classic Shift Share, and the Williamson Index. The results show that Central Java's economic structure is still dominated by the Manufacturing Industry and Agriculture sectors. The LQ analysis identified six basic sectors: Manufacturing Industry, Agriculture, Construction, Trade, Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provision, and Educational Services. The Shift Share analysis shows that the Manufacturing Industry has the highest negative shift differential, while the Transportation and Warehousing, Construction, and Educational Services sectors have competitive advantages. The Williamson Index ranges from 0.63 to 0.69, with an average of 0.6548, indicating that regional development inequality remains high. This finding provides the basis for policy development to strengthen the competitiveness of basic sectors and promote equitable development across regions in Central Java Province.
