Abstract

One of the efforts undertaken by managements STPI to improve quality in vocational education business competition is to improve the quality of service to customers in general and cadets in particular. The services provided include : the service of educators (lecturers / instructors), service personnel and various other public services that all require special handling in the implementation so that service users can feel the service as expected. Customer appraised service, performance and expectance assessment. Through statistical descriptive analysis of 22 service indicators, the value of customer satisfaction is 71.11% so that the value can be used as a reference to improve the quality of service in accordance with the expectations of service users

Abstract

The research aims to contribute and changes through reform of the bureaucracy associated with the performance of lecturers and the development of science to the Indonesian Aviation High School institution, except that this study also aims to determine the development of faculty performance in STPI through leadership and motivational variables. Thus, to know the perspective of the 107 respondents surveyed overall number of lecturers, just taken as many as 52 respondents using techniques slovin. Assuming that the error value is used by 10%. The research method uses descriptive quantitative approach, using the techniques of statistical data analysis, correlation, determination, t test and the F test (ANOVA) assisted with software SPSS (Statistical Product And Service Solutions). Results of analysis show that there is a leadership influence on the performance of lecturers by 25% while the remaining 75% are influenced by other factors. Besides, there is also the effect of motivation on the performance of lecturers by 20.6% while the remaining 79.4% influenced by other factors. Taken together that leadership and motivational lecturer affect the performance of 36.5% for the remaining 65.5% is influenced by other factors

Abstract

Juwata Tarakan international airport has a clean water distribution facility to the terminal building area using three pump units that have the same specification. Clean water is distributed to toilets, mosques, shops and cafeterias. The water distribution control system is automated but not in accordance with the desired condition because the system works in serial if the previous pump is not working.In order to for the simulation design of the setting operation of three pumps to work properly it is necessary to do a favorable theory review, such as the theory that support. Some theories used to support the writing of this final task must be related and complement each other, including the theory of arduino as microcontroller board, sensor theory ACS712, DS18b20 sensor, relay, and others.The simulation design use to operation the three pumps works based on the time specified in each pump, with overcurrent and overheated protection on each pump to avoid potentially problematic pump (auto system), if the auto system becomes problem then the manual system can be operated .This simulation is used to describe the control system that is located in the juwata tarakan international airport of northern kalimantan

Abstract

Turbocharger T70 has a type of radial turbine that has a value of 60% efficiency will be modified into a turbojet engine. To obtain a higher efficiency rating on the turbojet engine, the thesis is designed a one-stage axial turbine. This one-tiered axial turbine is expected to have an 87% efficiency and can supply power to a compressor of 120000 Watt and is also expected to be easy to manufacture . This one-tier axial turbine design method, drawn from various literatures. The design point taken in this design is the air mass (ṁ) 0.505kg / s, with the spin axis 1763.33rps. The total pressure on the turbine inlet is 3936 bar and the total temperature at the turbine inlet is 1260.417 K. The calculation result of the analysis shows the number of nozzle bar 49 and the number of rotor blades 35. The performance prediction on this one-tiered axle turbine uses Aeinley-Matieson method which yields efficiency value 87.3%. Turbine turbine blades and rotor turbine blades using Cascade software. The thickness distribution of the profile uses airfoil NACA 0012. The camber line on this 2 dimensional airfoil uses a circular arc type. Pada bilah turbin nosel dan bilah turbin rotor yang telah di bentuk selanjutnya dilakukakan analisis dengan menggunakan computational fluid dynamic (CFD). Dengan menggunakan CFD, efisiensi yang dihasilkan adalah 88.4 %, lebih besar dari prediksi performa turbin dengan menggunakan metode Aeiley-Matieson. Daya yang dihasilkan oleh turbin adalah 132436.74 Watt, sedangkan daya yang di butuhkan oleh kompresor adalah 119960.68 Watt.

Abstract

PT. Sriwijaya Air is one of the airlines operating in Indonesia. As an airline company, PT. Sriwijaya Air implement strategies in order to gain profit and reduce operational costs as small as possible. One of the strategies applied to reduce operational costs is by doing fuel tankering. In fact, the fuel tankering strategy implemented by PT. Sriwijaya Air has not taken place optimally. Not optimal because of the absence of reference on fuel tankering so that PIC (Pilot In Command) did not add fuel to make operational cost savings. Therefore, the need for the existence of fuel tankering calculation so that flight dispatcher has a reference in doing fuel tankering. It is expected that with the the reference of fuel tankering, the fuel tankering strategy applied by PT. Sriwijaya Air takes place optimally

Abstract

Simulator Building is one of the buildings in Indonesia Civil Aviation Institute, which is used as supporting educational facilities. This simulator building has three floors and a lobby on the first floor which is used as the meeting room and reception area. On this building, there is already a centralized air conditioning type whose channels are distributed throughout the room in this building including a lobby room on the first floor. But, those air conditioning equipment is not working. Thus, it is causing the temperature in the lobby room calculated as 28°C - 30°C during the daylight. Those condition is exceeding the maximum thermal comfort threshold for tropics which is 22,8°C – 25,8°C. It is over the limit of maximum thermal comfort condition for the tropics, which is 22,8°C- 25,8°C. Therefore, it needs an air conditioner (AC) to keep the room temperature comfortable. in planning the installation of the eqquipment, we can analyze it by Cooling Load Temperature Difference (CLTD) calculation method for Indonesian comfort thermal zone which is generally 25oC ± 1oC on temperature and 55 % ± 10 % on relative air humidity

Abstract

The purpose of education is to develop the potential of students to be man who is faithful and devoted to God Almighty, glorious, healthy, knowledgeable, skilled, creative, independent and become citizens of a democratic and accountable. To improve competitiveness and achieve educational goals, educational institutions are required constantly improve educational services. Competition educational institutions not only from physical factors, but is also determined by a system service capable of providing satisfaction to students. This research aims to determine how the effect of the quality of educational services to customer satisfaction and the extent of educational services provided by the Department of Flight Safety, ICAI Curug. The analysis technique used is descriptive method of quantitative analysis that presents the facts about what it is going to systematically about the state perceived by the object of research. The analysis indicates that service quality had a positive effect on customer satisfaction and services provide by institution generally is good.

Abstract

Currently, delivery of services at the airport airport affairs are still provided by state-owned PT. AP-I/PT.AP-II and small airports by the Technical Unit of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation. But after deregulation of the airline as a result of events of 11 September 2001 in Indonesia airport affairs policies are constantly changing from the previously more inclined to privatization to nationalization. Proof if the previous airport DGCA UPT that can finance themselves financially (cost recovery), automatically transformed into state-owned airport, but now no longer. Finally, new problems began to emerge for discussion, whether the process of privatization of airport affairs services that have spread it will bring the same end result with the nationalization of airport affairs services to heritage and history different from each airport, or the emergence of variations in service models airport affairs, especially in aviation security functions at the airport.
