Abstract

The future of a nation is tied to the quality of its education, which teachers play a crucial role in realising. This study analyses the principal's role in improving teacher discipline and motivation at Baitul Insan Integrated Islamic Primary School, and its effect on the quality of education. The study used qualitative research methodology, utilising literature review and interviews as the main tools for data collection and analysis in exploring the principal's role in improving teachers' discipline and motivation at Baitul Insan Integrated Islamic Primary School. The findings show that principals have an important role in creating a conducive learning environment and motivating teachers through various strategies, such as building a positive school culture, recognising performance, providing self-development opportunities, and providing support in facing teaching challenges. At Baitul Insan Integrated Islamic Primary School, the principal has shown her commitment through various efforts, such as regular meetings, training, clear rules and rewards. These efforts show the principal's commitment to improving the quality of education at Baitul Insan Integrated Islamic Primary School. Success in improving teacher discipline and motivation will have a positive impact on the quality of learning and student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to measure and determine the level of physical fitness in extracurricular pencak silat students. The approach used in this research is descriptive. The method used in this research is quantitative method. This research was conducted by students. The data in this study were obtained through the TKJI test. The results showed that the level of physical fitness of students who participated in extracurricular pencak silat students was in the excellent category 0 students or (0%), good category 0 students or (0%), moderate category 0 students or (0%), poor category 27 students or (88.8%), very poor category 3 students or (11.1%). The level of physical fitness of students who take part in extracurricular pencak silat students is mostly in the less category, namely 88.8%. This shows that the level of physical fitness of extracurricular pencak silat students is in the less category. The level of physical fitness is closely related to pencak silat extracurricular achievements, so teachers or extracurricular trainers should pay attention to training programmes for the quality of physical fitness as a support for achieving better student achievement. To researchers who will conduct similar research can continue this research by linking the achievements of students who take part in pencak silat extracurriculars to other variables

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran orang tua dalam pelaksanaan kegiatan proyek pemantapan profil siswa Pancasila di SDN 28 Kota Bima. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan untuk memperoleh pemahaman yang mendalam tentang kontribusi orang tua dalam pembentukan karakter siswa terkait nilai-nilai Pancasila. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi terhadap beberapa orang tua yang terlibat aktif dalam proyek. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa peran orang tua sangat penting dalam meningkatkan efektivitas pelaksanaan proyek pemantapan profil siswa Pancasila. Secara umum, orang tua berfungsi sebagai pendukung utama dalam pemantapan pemahaman dan pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila pada anak-anaknya. Dukungan moral, motivasi, dan pengawasan yang diberikan orang tua memiliki dampak positif yang signifikan dalam pembentukan karakter anak. Dalam konteks pembelajaran nilai-nilai Pancasila, orang tua juga berperan sebagai mitra edukatif yang turut mengawasi dan mendukung kegiatan anak di rumah. Dengan menyediakan lingkungan yang kondusif, orang tua dapat mendorong anak untuk lebih aktif dan bersemangat dalam menginternalisasikan nilai-nilai Pancasila dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Hal ini terlihat dari dukungan orang tua terhadap kegiatan ekstrakurikuler, memanfaatkan waktu luang untuk berdiskusi dan membaca buku-buku yang relevan dengan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Namun demikian, tantangan juga muncul dalam peran orang tua, seperti kesibukan bekerja sehingga terbatasnya waktu untuk terlibat aktif dalam kegiatan proyek, keterbatasan ekonomi, dan kurangnya pemahaman tentang pentingnya pembentukan karakter Pancasila.

Abstract

Integrating Islamic Religious Education and Qur'anic memorisation at first glance is a common thing to do, because both are included in one family in the science of Islam. However, in real applications, many Islamic educational institutions separate Islamic religious studies and Quranic memorisation so that the two fields of study are separated from each other. Unlike the case with Kuttab Al-Firdaus Lhokseumawe which is able to integrate Islamic religious education and tahfidz Al-Quran in its curriculum. This research includes descriptive-qualitative field research. The findings of this study are, the integration of Islamic religious education materials and tahfidz Al-Quran in Kuttab Al-Firdaus Lhokseumawe is quite well implemented. With several indicators, the way / method of delivery used by tahfidz Al-Quran teachers in integrating Islamic religious education material not only conveys the greatness and power of Allah Subhanahu wata'ala alone, but also the exemplary values of the Prophets and Messengers and Salafusshalihin contained in the Al-Quran. So that the desired goal is enough to achieve results in accordance with the curriculum. Most Tahfidz Al-Quran teachers integrate Islamic religious education material in almost all subject matter studied, as well as assignments and discussions about religion in almost all verses studied in Tahfizd Al-Quran are also well implemented.

Abstract

Digital da'wah has become an important instrument in improving the quality of Islamic education in Indonesia, especially in the era of rapidly developing information technology. This research aims to explore how digital da'wah can be optimized to support Islamic education. With a literature research approach, information is collected from various relevant literature sources and critically analyzed. The results show that digital da'wah can expand access to education, improve interaction between educators and learners, and disseminate information quickly and effectively. In addition, the use of social media and other digital platforms has been proven to attract young people to learn more about Islam. This research emphasizes the importance of integrating digital da'wah in the Islamic education curriculum and the need for further innovation to understand its long-term impact. Thus, optimizing digital da'wah can not only improve the quality of Islamic education but also support the active role of the community in understanding and practicing Islamic teachings

Abstract

This research aims to see how the habit-forming model is applied in character education at MI Ash Shalihin YAPIS Abepura, Jayapura City. This model is important in the education curriculum in Indonesia because it helps instil moral and ethical values in students. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research to describe events that occur. Descriptive research seeks to provide accurate information in the form of words. Qualitative descriptive methods are used to achieve certain goals, with the researcher as the main tool in data collection. This study applied data analysis techniques from the beginning, during, and after data collection to understand the subject objectively. Data reduction is done by summarizing and selecting important elements to investigate patterns and themes. Drawing conclusions results in a clearer explanation or picture of the findings. Data validity checking is done through triangulation, which involves various sources and data collection techniques to ensure the credibility of information. Triangulation is important to validate the data and find differences that may exist through different methods. The results showed that the model successfully improved student discipline, responsibility and empathy by incorporating character-building activities into the daily routine. This research emphasizes how important consistent practice and reflection are in character education and provides a framework for other educational institutions that want to improve their character education programs. The research also emphasizes how important it is for teachers to provide continuous stimulus and response for the habit-forming model to be successful

Abstract

One way to increase student motivation to learn is to use a learning model in accordance with the student's character. Researchers chose the Inquiring Mind Want to Know model from the various strategies available to be applied to science learning in Grade V Primary School of Muhammadiyah Biak. This study aimed to determine the Learning Innovation: Implementation of Inquiring Mind Want to Know Model in Grade V Primary School of Muhammadiyah Biak. This study conducted descriptive qualitative research with a case study. The three methods of data collection are observation, interview, and documentation. However, the data analysis method includes collection, reduction, presentation, and conclusion.Furthermore, triangulation was used to ensure the validity of the data. The results showed several ways to implement the Inquiry Mind Want to Know model in science learning. One of them is by directly practising the steps of the model. The disadvantage is that students do not have enough time to learn, but the advantage factor is that students have enough time to learn actively. One of the impacts of the Inquiry Mind Want to Know model on science learning is that students are more actively involved in the learning process with their curiosity, students can expand their knowledge of attitudes and skills, especially in science, and teachers more easily understand their students

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the necessity of Managerial Skills of the school principal of Madrasah on the Implementation of Development Planning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Fatah Abepantai Jayapura City, as well as supporting and hindering factors in the Implementation of Development Planning of Al-Fatah Abepantai Madrasah Al-Fatah Jayapura City. The research method was quantitative research. An associative model leads to a causal relationship, survey method, using deductive logic starting from theory, hypothesis, observation, generalization, and accepting or rejecting the hypothesis. Using the ordinal scale -without going through the instrument validity test, using non-parametric statistics- the number of samples is 13 people using the Spearman Rank correlation. The research results are some factors that strengthen and weaken the urgency of leadership skills. While the relationship between the two variables has a significant relationship level. For an error rate of 5%, the Rho table price = 0.6318681319 > 0.591 if n = 12 and 0.6318681319 > 0.544 if n = 14. Moreover, the value of the T count is greater than the T table, then Ho is rejected, and Ha is accepted (price 2.7 > 2.160). The significant test of the correlation coefficient (whether the correlation coefficient can be generalized or not) using either table ρor using the formula both resulted in the rejection of Ho and acceptance of Ha.

Abstract

This research discusses the creativity of the driving teacher in developing students' social and emotional competencies in the Merdeka curriculum at State Primary school 21 Tolomundu, Bima City. The mobilising teacher has an important role in improving the quality of teaching and learning, as well as in developing students' character and creativity. In the Merdeka curriculum, mobilising teachers are expected to act as agents of change who facilitate the exchange of ideas, provide support for fellow teachers, and build an inclusive and supportive learning environment. In this research, mobilising teachers in Bima are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to lead change in teaching and learning practices. through this research, the author uses a type of qualitative research with a descriptive approach, which aims to reveal symptoms in a holistic-contextual manner through data collection from a natural setting by utilising the author as a key instrument. The key information in this research is the school principal, teacher activists and students at the State Primary school 21 Tolomundu, Bima City. To collect data the author conducted observations, interviews and documentation.  After collecting the data the author directly analyses the data. Based on the results of the study, it shows that increased awareness and understanding of the importance of social and emotional competence, improved student skills in managing emotions, communicating, and working together, changes in school culture towards a more inclusive environment, and improved teaching quality and student engagement. The impact is not only felt at school, but also has the ability to improve the quality of life of students more broadly

Abstract

This research was conducted because of the background of the lack of creativity carried out by the teacher towards efforts to divert the attention of students who are less focused, not too enthusiastic and quickly bored in participating in learning activities, with the aim of this study is to find out the use of Ice Breaking to increase student learning activities in grade III Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Nurul Ilmi Kota Bima School Year 2024. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation. The location of this research was at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Nurul Ilmi Kota Bima. Primary data sources obtained are through the main informants of several teachers at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Swasta Nurul Ilmi Kota Bima. The results showed that the Ice Breaking method is very effective in solving various problems that occur during the learning process. the use of Ice Breaking is very likely to restore students' enthusiasm in learning. Students no longer feel bored, saturated and depressed during the learning process. Students will feel happy, motivated and have a higher enthusiasm for learning. The use of Ice Breaking can also change the learning atmosphere to be fun. So Ice Breaking is considered important and effective to be used as one of the methods or ways to increase students' learning activities.
