AbstractThis development research was carried out to produce a product in the form of pop-upbook based learning media in class V theme 1 sub-theme 2 learning 2 learning materialthe human skeleton. The research method used is research and development (R&D)adaptation research and development by Borg and Gall. The sources of this research are,interview, expert validation, student feedback, and documentation during the use of pop-up book based learning media. The data collecting technique in this research anddevelopment are interview and questionnaires. The results of research and developmentshow that the process of developing pop-up book based learning media has gone through7 research steps, Research and information collecting, Planing, Develop primary from ofproduct, Preliminary field testing produk, Main product revision, Main field testing,Operational product revision. The feasibility level of pop-up book based learning media is“Very Good” seen from the aspect of design with average value 3,79 and seen form theaspect of content with average value 4,00 as well as product trial result “Very Good” withaverage value 3,58.Keywords: Lerning Media, Pop-Up Book, Thematic learning

AbstractThe background of this research is to analyze and fan the contents of the debate ofcandidates for Regent and Vice Regent kapuas Hulu 2020 in terms of ethos, pathos, and logos. The purpose of this study is to find out the content of the debate of candidates for Regent and Vice Regent of Kapuas Hulu 2020 in terms of ethos, pathos, and logos. This research uses deskritive methods and the approach used isa qualitative approach. The data in this study was sourced from the content of the debate of candidates for Regent and Vice Regent of Kapuas Hulu 2020 and avideo originated on the youtobe channel entitled open debate between candidates for Regent and deputy Regent of Kapuas Hulu 2020. Based on the results of the analysis of data on the content of the debate and the video, it can be concluded that each candidate pair of regional heads uses rhetoric in the form of ethos, pathos, and logos in delivering their speech. Then this research has a link to the learning of Indonesian Language and Literature class X odd semester curriculum 2013 refers to Basic Competencies 3.12 and 4.12. The results of this study are expected to be useful, especially for teachers, learners, and for future researchers.Keywords: Debat, Ethos, Logos, Pathos, Rhetoric.

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the effect of self-control on students’ academic procrastination in sosical Programme (IPS) Grad XI of Senior High School 2 Sungai Raya. The Study used a descriptive quantitative method in the form of a relationship study research. Data collection techniques are indirect techniques and data collection tools using questionnaires. The data sources of this research are students of class XI IPS with a total population of 101 with 73 research samples. Based on the results of data analysis showed that the self-control of students in social programme (IPS) Grade XI of Senior High School 2 Sungai Raya was in a medium level by 79%. students’ procrastination in social programme (IPS) Grade XI of Senior High School 2 Sungai Raya was at a high lavel of 83,84%. The research findings showed that self-control affected students’ academic procrastination by 17% in sosical Programme (IPS) Grade XI of Senior High School IPS 2 Sungai Raya. It seems that there was about 83% of academic procrastination wa affected by other unknown problemsKeywords: Self Control, Students’ Academic Procrastination, Effect.

This research aimed: 1) to compare vocabulary mastery of experimental and controlled groups students after the treatment, 2) to see the difference gained by the two groups in terms of their vocabulary achievement, and 3) to measure how effective song lyrics feature was, available on Spotify, in the development of students"™ vocabulary mastery. There were two classes of 8th graders of Jagakarsa junior high school, Jakarta participated as the sample in this study, classified into experimental and controlled groups. A total number of 28 students occupied each of the class. The data were collected by using 30 multiple-choice questions of vocabulary pre- and post-tests. This research applied quantitative method. Thus, in the analysis data, statistical formula of t-test and effect size tests were used. The results of the computation revealed: 1) in the average, experimental group students outperformed controlled group ones in which these students"™ vocabulary achievement escalated up to 22.04 points while the controlled group only increased 9.64 points; 2) The statistical analysis of t-test confirmed that t0 t-table and the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.05. Thus, these indicated that there was no difference in the average score achieved by experimental and controlled classes, hence, H0 was accepted. 3) In terms of its effectiveness, the used of songs"™ lyrics on Spotify as teaching and learning media was not contributed fully towards students"™ vocabulary mastery; this was showed by the value of 0.518 (moderate level) from the effect size test. This research work concluded that songs"™ lyrics on Spotify was not really effective in improving students"™ vocabulary mastery.

AbstractThis study aims to determine parenting styles in mixed marriages between Dayak and Malay ethnicities in the Office Village, Delta Pawan District, Ketapang Regency. The research method used is descriptive with a qualitative research form. The data source of this research is a married couple of mixed marriages between Dayak and Malay ethnicities in the Office Village, Delta Pawan District, Ketapang Regency. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation, while data collection tools use observation and interview guidelines, observation and documentation. The research analysis was presented in a descriptive qualitative manner using six informants, consisting of two married couples and one child from each husband and wife. The results of this study indicate that there are differences in the category of parenting towards 1) permissiveness; 2) authoritarian and 3) democratic as seen from the cultural elements of the livelihood system, religious system and social system from each parent to their child. Where there is a process of cultural domination and cultural assimilation with a complete two-way process of parenting towards a permissive, authoritarian and democratic approach to mixed marriages between Dayak and Malay ethnicities in the Office of Delta Pawan District, Ketapang Regency.Keywords: Parenting Styles, Mixed Marriages, Dayak Ethnicity, Ethnic Malay

This research is entitled "Analysis of Plans and Realization of PT PLN (Persero) Main Unit Corporate Social Responsibility Activities in West Kalimantan". The problem in this research is how to plan and realize the Corporate Social Responsibility activity program of PT PLN (Persero) Main Unit in West Kalimantan. The method used is descriptive method. The form of research is descriptive qualitative. The data collection technique in this study was direct communication with the data collection tool using interview guidelines, direct observation using the data collection tool observation sheets, and documentary studies using data collection tools in the form of data archives. The results of the research are (1) planning of CSR activity programs has been well planned, starting from preparing targets and objectives for implementing CSR activities, preparing measuring instruments for the performance of CSR activities, identifying the level of readiness for implementing CSR activities, determining areas of operation for implementing CSR activities, involve the parties concerned, and prepare CSR programs; (2) CSR programs that have been planned are more focused on sustainable programs; (3) The realized CSR program runs well.

Abstract This study aimed to find out the result of the feasibility of the scrapbook on the Sub Material of the Plant Roles in Economic. The method used was a descriptive method. Furthermore,the feasibility of the scrapbook media assessed by 5 media experts got a CVR value of 0.99 which was in accordance with minimum CVR value of Lawshe so that the scrapbook media is suitable for use as a learning medium on sub matter the role plants in economic field. AbstractBoarding Education Management in improving student academic achievement at MTs Hidayatul Muslimin 1 Kubu Raya is an education with a boarding system, a program that is very supportive of improving student academic achievement, all student activities can be directed and controlled by the hostel manager in achieving an educational goal set by the hostel. . The purpose of this research is to obtain descriptive information with a qualitative approach, using the type of case study research. The preparation of this writing uses primary and secondary data through interviews, observation and documentation. Data analysis using data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Researchers found that boarding school management includes:Good planning, madrasahs involve every element of the madrasah in a plan.Organizing boarding schools begins with a mapping of education and education staff, recruitment of employees, division and delegation of tasks and authorities. The implementation of boarding schools is very good, this is because the elements of the madrasah are responsible for the assigned tasks. Boarding school supervision must be a concern, so that supervision can be optimal, and supporting instruments in supervision are needed, so that supervision can be properly directed and the objectives of supervision can be achieved. Problem solving is one of the goals in learning mathematics. In solving problems students must use steps to solve them, including in solving story problems. The ability needed to solve a story problem is not only specific skills or algorithms, but also the ability to prepare a plan or strategy that will be used in solving problems. The purpose of this study is to describe the use of Polya problem solving steps by students in solving story problems on mixed integer operation material. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were four students chosen randomly or randomly. While this research instrument is a written test about a story that has been validated by a mathematics teacher and unstructured interviews. Based on the analysis obtained shows that not all students use Polya's problem solving steps in solving story problems, this is indicated by the way students work on the results of written tests and interviews.
