Abstrack           The aims of this study were to determine whether there was differences of environmental care attitudes between students who was tought by using environment-based learning and students who was tought by using conventional methods and also to determine the effect of environment-based learning towards students’ environmentalcare attitude in environmental pollution course at SMP 13 Pontianak. This research was a quasi eksperimentalwith nonequivalent control groupdesign. Sampling technique by using random sampling . The tools of data collectionwere questionnaire and interview. The environmental care attitude was analayzedusing the U-Mann Whitney test. There was difference of environmental care attitude between studentswho was tougt by using environment-based learning and students who was tought by using conventional methods.Environtment-based learning influenced 29,1% on behavioral caring of environtment of student of class VII SMP 13 Pontianak. Keywords:Environment-Based Learning, Environmental CareAttitude Environmental Poluttion Course StudyÂ

AbstractThe aimed of this reseach was to find out the effectiveness of Contemporary Dancing Video in teaching students writing narrative to year-10 students of MA Negeri 2 Pontianak in academic year 2017/2018. The population of this research was all year-10 students of MA Negeri 2 Pontianak in academic year 2017/2018 and the researcher took the sample by using cluster random sampling to determined the participant of the research which consisted of 39 students. From the data of the finding, itrevealed that the technique could make the students narrative writing ability increased significantly. It can be seen when the students tried to share and exchange their opinion and presented the discussion result in front of the class. The students put the core of narrative plot when presenting the story of the video.The research result showed that the technique was effective to enhance students narrative writing text due to the increasing for students’ achievements in narrative writing. It proved by the t-test calculation result which was higher than t-critical value (7.96 > 1.68). The effect size was 1.25 and categorized as high. As the conclusion, the media was able to be used in enhancing students’ ability in writing narrative text and the effect was positive. The researcher recommends this media as a variation in teaching process, especially in teaching writing narrative text.  Keywords:      Contemporary dancing video, Narrative text, teaching writing.Â

ABSTRAK: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa menggunakan media gambar  melalui metode pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial Di Kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 11 Saparan. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskrif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas dan bersifat kolaboratif. Penelitian berlangsung di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 11 Saparan Kecamatan Jagoi Babang Kabupateng Bengkayang, khususnya di kelas IV yang berjumlah 21 orang.Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik observasi langsung dengan pengumpul data yaitu lembar jawaban. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu menghitung rata- rata persiklus.Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dari hasil siklus 1 dan 2 di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 11 Saparan Kecamatan Jagoi Babang Kecamatan Bengkayang menunjukan hasil yang sangat dratis pada siklus 1 hanya 28,6 siswa yang tuntas sedangkan pada siklus yang ke 2 siswa mencapai 100% tuntas padahal pelajaran yang sama tetapi terik pembelajaran yang ditingkatkan dengan hasil yang sangat baik maka siklus dapat dihentikan. Kata kunci: Media gamabar, Hasil Belajar siswa, IPS Abstract: This research aims to improve student learning outcomes through the use of media images teaching methods Social Sciences at State Elementary School Fourth Grade 11 Saparan. The method used is deskrif the form of action research and collaborative. The research took place at State Elementary School 11 Saparan District of Jagoi Babang Kabupateng Bengkayang, especially in the fourth grade, which has 21 orang.Teknik data collection techniques used are direct observation with a data collector that is the answer sheet. The data analysis technique used is to calculate the average persiklus.Berdasarkan research results from the cycle 1 and 2 at the State Elementary School 11 Saparan District of Jagoi Babang District of Bengkayang showed a very drastic results in cycle 1 only 28.6 students who completed while on cycle to 2 students achieve 100% complete when the same lesson but learning blistering enhanced with excellent results, the cycle can be stopped. AbstractThis study is entitled "Student Learning Obstacles Based on Analogy Reasoning in Social Arithmetic Material in Junior High Schools". The research method used is descriptive method with the form of case study research. The subjects of this study were students of class VII A Pontianak State Middle School consisting of 32 students. The results showed that student learning barriers based on the analogy reasoning in the social arithmetic material include: (1) Based on the components of thinking Encoding students do not experience obstacles and can identify the characteristics or structure of the problem sources and target problems; (2) Based on the components of Inferring thinking, there are students who experience obstacles in finding relationships in the source problem; (3) Based on the components of Mapping thinking, students experience obstacles in finding relationships or solutions found in the target problem; (4) Based on the components of Applying thinking, students experience obstacles in calculating the target number and choosing the right formula. AbstractThis study was aimed to know how STAD technique improves the eighth grade students’ reading comprehension at SMP Negeri 21 Pontianak in academic year 2017/2018. It was a classroom action research which was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consisted of four components namely planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The research instruments were observation in form of observation checklist and field notes in order to describe the process while applying STAD technique in the classroom. In addition, she used measurement technique in form of reading test items to measure students’ achievement. These reading test items including five aspects that helps students to improve their reading comprehension. These five reading aspects in terms of identifying main idea, identifying specific information, identifying reference, identifying inference and vocabulary. The result of this study that, the students improved their reading comprehension through STAD technique by discussing the issues proposed by the teacher in the reading text. Further more, they worked together in heterogeneous teams to get higher improvement point as their goal in each cycle. This condition created the compotitive athmosphere in the classroom. So, it increased students’ motivation to comprhened the reading text.Keywords: Reading Comprehension, Classroom Action Research, STAD Technique

Abstrak ; Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan inpormasi yang akurat dan meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran IPA di kelas V. mendeskripsikan penggunaan media gambar dikelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri No 07 Nanga Mongko Kecamatan Nanga Taman,Kabupaten Sekadau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskreptif dengan bentuk penelitian tindakan kelas PTK .Hasil penelitian pada siklus I dan siklus II menunjukan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa. Hal ini terbukti dari hasil belajar siswa kelas V dalam pembelajran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam ( IPA tes akhir siklus I dengan nilai rata ? rata 68 siklus I dan pada siklus II menjadi 75 %. Kata kunci ; Peningkatan Hasil Belajar IPA, Menggunakan Media Gambar Abstract ; Thebresarch was aimed to describe the application of group discussion method of SDN 07 Nanga Mongko Kecamatan Nanga Taman Kabupaten Sekadau. The research method used was descriptive method with the research desegn of media images action ( CAR ]. The result of the research in the first cycle and the improvement of students? achievement. This was proved from the fourth studens? achievement in science learning which the mean score of the final test in the first cycle was 68 and improved on the second became 72 , with the learning completenes of 25 % on the first cyle and 75 % on the second cycle.. Abstract This study aimed to determine internal factors and external factors that affect student learning difficulties in entrepreneurship subjects in class XI Marketing at Pontianak Independent Vocational School. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 6 students who had difficulty learning entrepreneurship and 1 entrepreneurship teacher class XI Marketing. The technique of collecting data through observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results showed that internal factors that affect students' learning difficulties in entrepreneurship subjects in class XI Marketing include impaired student health due to diseases that interfere with learning, lack of intelligence, lack of interest in entrepreneurship and lack of readiness for entrepreneurship. While external factors that affect students' learning difficulties in entrepreneurship subjects in class XI Marketing include lack of parental attention at home to children's learning due to busy work, entrepreneurial teacher teaching methods that still use lecture methods and teachers are less varied in teaching, discipline who are still lacking and friends hang out in class that often interfere when the learning process takes place. Abstract: The purpose of this research is to investigate the effectiveness of CIRC technique in teaching writing descriptive to the grade X students? of SMA Negeri 1 Singkawang in Academic Year 2014/2015. This research uses pre-experimental study with 34 grade X student as the sample. One of the approaches parallel to this teaching approach is cooperative learning. Cooperative Integrated Reading and Composition (CIRC) is a comprehensive reading and writing program that includes story-related activities, direct instruction in reading comprehension, and integrated reading and language arts activities is uses in teaching writing descriptive text to the students. Based on the research findings, it was concluded that teaching writing using CIRC is effective. Salah satu pendekatan paralel yang digunakan untuk mengajar dalam tekhnik ini adalah pendekatan pembelajaran kooperatif. Penulis memilih tehnik CIRC untuk mengajarkan siswa dalam menulis text deskriptif. Kooperatif Terpadu Membaca dan Menulis (CIRC) merupakan model pembelajaran yang berhubungan dengan pemahaman dalam membaca dan menulis yang mencakup aktifitas yang dihubungkan ke cerita, intruksi langsung dalam pemahaman belajar, dan bacaan dan aktifitas seni bahasa digunakan dalam mengajar menulis deskriptive text pada siswa. Berdasarkan penemuan penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa mengajar menulis menggunakan CIRC adalah efektif. Kata Kunci: CIRC, Menulis, Teks Deskriptif

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the ability of students to solve HOTS questions on acid-base material and what factors influence students in solving HOTS questions on acid-base material. The form of research uses descriptive research. The research sample was FKIP Tanjungpura University. Chemistry education students in the 6th semester were 58 students. The ability of chemistry education students to solve hots questions was measured using essay written tests, and unstructured interviews. The research instrument was validated using the Gregory test matrix. The results showed that the ability of chemistry education students to solve hots was classified as moderate. This are indicated by the moderate percentage of the indicator at 69.2%. This proves the ability of chemistry education for each indicator are high. Factors affecting the ability of students are the lack of understanding the Bronsted-Lowry concept, not understanding the formula of vinegar acid levels and the difficulty in describing the strong acid and strong base titration curves.Keywords: The Ability, High Order Thinking Skill, Acid-Base Material

Abstract This research is describes the measurement in the vocabulary of the Malay language in one Sambas dialect districts in Sambas district. This research focuses on the observation of objects of culture, namely the measurement. This measurement meaning is the measurement instrument that used by people and it's still traditional. Data was received from Semparuk village, Semparuk Districts which is located in Sambas regency West Borneo. The method used in this research is descriptive and qualitative research methods. The vocabulary measurement in this research with 34 data, this study is devided into five forms of measurement that is 1) the length, width, and height, 2) lots, 3) weight, 4) volume, 5) the size of the fruit. . All of the datas consist of 15 type of measurement for length, width, and height, 6 type of meaurement for pieces, 5 type of measurement for weight, 3 type of measurement for volume, and 5 type of measurement for fruits size.
