Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to study students' mathematical communication skills in a linear program in terms of visual learning styles at MAN 1 Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method in the form of survey research. The data source used in this study was the students of class XI MIPA 1 at MAN 1 Pontianak. Data collection tools used were non-test consisting of a questionnaire to measure visual learning styles and written tests to understand students' communication skills. Based on the test results, students are able to connect real objects into mathematical ideas, students are able to describe everyday events using language or mathematical symbols and are able to explain some mathematical problems into the form of images. The results of data analysis show that the communication skills of students with visual learning styles are of good qualityKeywords: Linear Program, Mathematical Communication, Visual Learning Style

Abstract

 AbstractResearch backgrounded by the existence of the epistemological obsclae of students in understanding the matter of quadratic equations. The method used was didactic design research  including didactic design analysis before learning, metapedadidaktis analysis and retrospective analysis. The stage of didactic design analysis before learning was done on IXB IPS class to 22 students to found out the epistemological obsclae of students in the quadratic equation. After knowing the obsclae that the students had, made a design learning to overcome students epistemological obsclae. The validated design was applied to the students of XB class at Ma'arif Ketapang Senior High School, amounting to 18 students. The next stage was Metapedadidaktis analysis, that was analyzing a pedagogical didactic situation based on the response experienced by the students. The last stage was retrospective analysis that was to analyze how far the implementation of didactic design with learning that goes on when didactic design was applied. The didactic design developed includes lessons plan, activity sheet of learners and activities which was conducted there was using the historical approach of naïve geometry in solving the problem of quadratic equations, and find the general formula to solve the problem of quadratic equations. The result of the research was generally in the form of didactic design developed with historical approach of naïve geometry to overcome the epistemological barriers in the matter of quadratic equations. Keywords: Design Didactial, Naïve Geometry, Epistemological obstacle

Abstract

                       AbstractThis study aimed to determine the implementation of individual counseling at SMPN 9 Pontianak due to the unsuccessful resolution of counselees’ problems. Descriptive research with qualitative method was employed in this study. Interview, observation, and documentation were used as the data collection technique. The subjects in the study were the counseling teacher and 3 students. The findings showed that the indicators such as rapport, problem representation, problem interpretation, contract negotiation, exploration of the problem, revaluation, good relation maintenance, conclusion making, action planning, action plan evaluation, and meeting continuation have not been implemented completely. The indicators that have not been implemented were (1) Difficulty in building good relations with all counselees, (2) the counselees engagements were low in the activity, (3) the counselor did not regulate the time contract in activities, (4) the counselor did not pursue the development of potential and empathy in the exploration of the problem, and (5) ineffective counseling activities due to the lack of meeting continuation. Accordingly, the teacher is demanded to build better communication with the counselees, offer better understanding regarding individual counseling activities, make the time contract, and attempt to explore the counselees' potentials. Keywords: Individual counseling implementation, Individual counseling.

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah Untuk mengetahui apakah ada peningkatan hasil belajar dribble bola basket dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PROGRAM pada siswa kelas XI IPA 3 Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Singkawang. Metode yang di gunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan jenis penelitian yaitu penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Analisis data dilakukan dengan analisis deskriftif persentase. Subjek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah mengambil seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA 3 Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Singkawang yang berjumlah 34 siswa. Berdasarkan perhitungan persentase dari hasil belajar siswa kelas XI IPA 3 Sekolah Menengah Atas Negeri 3 Singkawang dengan menggunakan model pembelajran PROGRAM terdapat tingkat hasil belajar siswa yaitu siklus I tingkat hasil belajar siswa sebesar 70,20% dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas yaitu 14 dan yang tidak tuntas 20, Sedangkan untuk persentasi siklus II, yaitu 83,67% dengan jumlah siswa yang tuntas yaitu seluruh siswa kelas XI IPA3 sebanyak 34 siswa. dengan peningkatan sebesar 13,47%. Jadi dapat disimpulkan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PROGRAM dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran dribble bola basket pada siswa kelas XI IPA3 Sekolah Menengah Atas 3 Singkawang.   Kata Kunci: Hasil belajar dribble bola basket, model pembelajaran PROGRAM.   Abstract: The aim of this study was to determine whether there is an increased learning outcomes dribble basketballs using PROGRAM learning model in class XI IPA 3 Senior High School 3 Singkawang. The method used in this research is descriptive method with the kind of research is a classroom action research (PTK). Data was analyzed using descriptive analysis percentage. The research subjects in this study were taking the whole class XI IPA 3 Senior High School 3 Singkawang totaling 34 students. Based on the calculation of the percentage of student learning outcomes XI IPA 3 Senior High School 3 Singkawang using PROGRAM pembelajran models there are high levels of student learning outcomes is the first cycle level student learning outcomes for 70.20% the number of students who completed at 14 and an incomplete 20 As for the percentage of the second cycle, ie 83.67% the number of students who completed that all students in grade XI IPA3 as many as 34 students. with an increase of 13.47%. So it can be concluded learning by using PROGRAM learning model can improve student learning outcomes in learning basketball dribble in class XI High School IPA3 3 Singkawang.   Key Word: Learning outcomes dribble a basket ball learning model PROGRAM

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimns to analyse the influence of contextual approaches towards the narrative writing skills in the thematic learning of class V elementary school 35 south Pontianak. The research method used is the experimental method quasi research from experimental design.Experimental design that will be used in this study is a non equivalent control group design used two classes as the subject of research.The population in this study is all student of grade V elementary school 35 south Pontianak wich amounted to 96 students.The samples used in the study were VA graders the numbered 31 students as control and VC classes amounting to 35 students as experiment classes wuth random samling techiques.Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and data collector tools is a written test of essay form.Data analysis results obtained an average pretest results of 66,71 and average posttest  result of  74,59. Based on the result of the test-t calculation obtained tcount 4,073>t table 1,671,then H, received. This indicates that there are differences in the learning outcomes of the class students with experiment classes. Based on the results of the effect size is obtained bt ),75 which belongs to the medium criteria so that the contextual approach gives a moderate influence on narrative writing skills in the thematic learning of class V elementary school students Negeri 35 south Pontianak.Key words : Influence,  Contextual Approach, Narrative Writing Skills Thematic.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis layanan bimbingan kelompok dalam mengembangkan motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas XF SMA N 1 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Dalam  penelitian ini metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif, dengan bentuk penelitian studi survey. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik komunikasi langsung dan komunikasi tidak langsung. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah kuosioner/angket. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa layanan bimbingan kelompok pada kelas X F SMA N 1 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya mencapai rata-rata 89 % berada pada kategori baik. Dari data tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan kelompok yang dilakukan sudah berhasil dalam mengembangkan motivasi berprestasi siswa kelas X F SMA N 1 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. Dengan demikian layanan bimbingan kelompok ini cocok diterapkan pada kelas yang lainnya guna mengembangkan motivasi siswa dalam berprestasi. Kata kunci : Bimbingan Kelompok, Motivasi Berprestasi Abstract: This study aimed to analyze the group guidance service in developing achievement motivation student of the class X F SMA N 1 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. In this research method used in descriptive method, with the form of survey research studies. Data collection technique of direct communication and indirect communication technique. Data collection tool used is questionnaires. Based on the result of data analysis showed that group guidance service of the class X F SMA N 1 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya reaching an average of 89% at both categories of the data concluded that the implementation of group guidance service has been successfully performed in developing student achievement motivation of the class X F SMA N 1 Sungai Raya Kabupaten Kubu Raya. This the group?s guidance services suitableto be applied to the other classes in order to develop a student?s motivation to exel. Keyword : Group Guidance, Achievement Motivation

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap proses pemecahan masalah dalam materi aritmatika sosial yang dilakukan siswa dengan tingkat metakognisi tinggi, sedang, dan rendah dikaji berdasarkan Teori Polya. Metode penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 34 siswa kelas VII SMPN 8 Pontianak tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa proses pemecahan masalah yang dilakukan siswa bervariasi dan cenderung tidak konsisten dalam menggunakan langkah-langkah pemecahan masalah pada tiap soal. Selain itu, siswa pada masing-masing kelompok tingkat metakognisi belum sepenuhnya menerapkan langkah-langkah Polya. Namun, proses pemecahan masalah siswa pada tingkat metakognisi tinggi terlihat lebih baik dibanding siswa pada tingkat metakognisi sedang dan rendah. Demikian juga, proses pemecahan masalah siswa pada tingkat metakognisi sedang terlihat lebih baik dibanding siswa pada tingkat metakognisi rendah. Kata Kunci: Proses Pemecahan Masalah, Metakognisi Abstract: This research aims to find out the problem-solving process in social arithmetic topic of students with high, medium, and low metacognition level based on Polya's theory. This research method was qualitative descriptive with case study research form. The subject of this research was 34 seventh grade students of SMPN 8 Pontianak in 2014/2015 academic year. The data analysis results showed that students? problem-solving process has many variations and tended to be inconsistent in using problem-solving steps in each problems. Besides, students of each metacognition level groups did not totally apply the steps of Polya?s. Despite that, the problem-solving process of students with high metacognition level was better than those with medium and low metacognition level. Likewise, the problem-solving process of students with medium metacognition level was better than those with low metacognition level. Keywords: Problem-Solving Process, Metacognition

Abstract

Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan penyimpangan prinsip kerja sama dan penyimpangan maksim kesopanan dalam tiga buku kartun karya Benny Rachmadi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Berdasarkan analisis data menunjukkan bahwa ada 55 penyimpangan pada maksim kerja sama dan maksim kesopanan dalam tiga buku kartun karya Benny Rachmadi. Penyimpangan prinsip kerja sama berjumlah 24 data terdiri dari 4 penyimpangan maksim kuantitas, 4 penyimpangan maksim kualitas,  7 penyimpangan maksim relevan, dan 9 penyimpangan maksim pelaksanaan. Penyimpangan maksim kesopanan berjumlah 31 data, terdiri dari 4 penyimpangan maksim kebijaksanaan, 4 penyimpangan  maksim kemurahan, 8 penyimpangan maksim penerimaan, 2 penyimpangan maksim kerendahan hati, 10 penyimpangan maksim kecocokan, dan 3 penyimpangan maksim kesimpatian dalam tiga buku kartun karya Benny Rachmadi.   Kata kunci: buku kartun, penyimpangan pragmatis, pragmatik Abstract. The puspose of this research is to describing the cooperative principle deviation and politeness maxim deviation in three cartoon books work by Benny Rachmadi. The research methode used is descriptive method with the qualitative research form. The data analysis result shows that there are 55 deviation in cooperative maxim deviation and politeness maxim in three cartoon books work by Benny Rachmadi. Cooperative principle deviation has 24 data  consist of 4 quantity maxim deviation, 4 quality maxim deviation, 7 relevant maxim deviation, and 9 execution maxim deviation. Politeness maxim deviation has 31 data, consist of 4 wise maxim deviation, 4 generous maxim deviation, 8 acceptance maxim deviation, 2 humble maxim deviation, 10 suitable maxim deviation, and 3 sympatic maxim deviation in three cartoon books work by Benny Rachmadi. Abstract

Abstract This research uses descriptive method with class action research form, and the nature of research is collaborative. Setting of research took place at State Elementary School 31 South of Pontianak with research subject that is student of class V which amounted 28 people. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, and data collection tool that is observation sheet. The data collected in the analysis with percentage and average calculations. The result of the research is the learning activity of the students from the 1st cycle of meeting 1 that is obtained by the percentage of 62.14%, in the first cycle of meeting 2 it has increased by 10.72% to 72.86%, in cycle 2 meeting 1 has increased by 11, 42% to 84.28%, and on cycle 2 of meeting 2 increased by 9.29% to 93.57%. Based on the results of data analysis obtained the average value of student learning outcomes in cycle 1 meeting 1 obtained an average of 61.96, cycle 1 meeting 2 has increased by 10.79 to 72.75, in cycle 2 meeting 1 has increased by 7.00 to 79.75, and on cycle 2 of meeting 2 increased by 12.61 to become 92.36.   Keywords: Learning Activity, Learning Outcomes, Numbered Heads Together

Abstract

Abstract This study aimed to assemble a super mini hydroponic from small used plastic bottle and determine the influence of different concentrations of phosphorus for the growth of Ipomoea reptans in super mini hydroponic. The methodology of this research was the Research and Development (R&D) and used a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with three different concentrations of ABmix pure, ABmix+12.6 g of phosphorus, ABmix+ 16.2 g of phosphorus). The data were analyzed by ANOVA using model of CRD on the growth of Ipomoea reptans . ANOVA results showed that the difference in phosphorus concentration significantly affected root length, plant height, number of leaves, fresh weight and dry weight. However,the different concentrations of phosphorus  didn?t significantly chlorophyll level. Duncan?s mean separation test at ? = 5% indicated that the treatment I (ABmix pure) was significantly higher when compared to treatment II (ABmix+12.6 g of phosphorus) and treatment III (ABmix+16.2 g of phosphorus).   Keywords: Phosphorus, ABmix, Gowth, Ipomoea reptans, Super Mini Hydroponic
