Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini secara umum untuk mendeskripsikan potensi penalaran adaptif matematis siswa dikaji dari tingkat kemampuan matematikanya dalam materi persamaan garis lurus di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 18 Pontianak tahun ajaran 2015/2016. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan penalaran adaptif matematis siswa sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan matematikanya. Artinya, kemampuan penalaran adaptif matematis siswa dalam materi persamaan garis lurus yang tergolong dalam kelompok atas termasuk dalam kategori tinggi (61,67%), siswa yang tergolong dalam kelompok tengah termasuk dalam kategori sedang (50%), dan siswa yang tergolong dalam kelompok bawah termasuk dalam kategori rendah (38,33%). Kata Kunci: Potensi, Penalaran Adaptif, Kemampuan Matematika. Abstract: In general, the aim of this research is to describe the potential of adaptive mathematical reasoning of the students which studied from the math skills level of linear equation at grade eight of “SMP Negeri 18 Pontianak” in the Academic Year 2015/2016. The research method used was descriptive case study. The result showed that the potential of adaptive mathematical reasoning of the students suitable with the level of mathematical ability. That is, the adaptive mathematical reasoning skills students of linear equation who belong to the top level included in high category (61.67%), students who belong to the middle level included in the medium category (50%), and students who belong to below level included in low category (38.33%). Abstract

Abstract: This research aimed at discovering The Student’s Anxiety Factors in Speaking Test. The type of the research is descriptive quantitative, that was made to analyze the students’ anxiety in speaking test. The purposes of doing this research were to describe the levels of students’ anxiety, the sources of students’ anxiety and strategies that they used to decrease the anxiety when speaking. The technique of collecting data that was applied by the researcher was questionnaire (open and close questionnaire). It was found that most of the respondents have mildly anxious level of anxiety. Only a student has very relaxed level of anxiety. Factors of students’ anxiety come from learner beliefs about language learning, personal and interpersonal anxiety, and the instructor beliefs about language teaching. The main factor of students’ anxiety is learner’s belief. The strategies that were used by the students to reduce the feeling of anxiety are preparation, relaxation and positive thinking Keywords: Students’ Anxiety, Speaking Test, Anxiety Factors, Strategies     Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menemukan factor kecemasan siswa dalam tes berbicara. Tipe penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif, yang dibuat untuk menganalisis kecemasan siswa dalam tes berbicara. Tujuan dari dilakukannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan level kecemasan siswa, sumber kecemasan siswa dan strategi yang mereka gunakan untuk mengatasi kecemasan ketika berbicara. Tehnik pengambilan data yang dipakai peneliti adalah kuesioner (open dan close kuesioner). Penelitian ini menemukan hampir kebanyakan dari siswa berada pada level sangat rileks. Faktor kecemasan siswa berasal dari kepercayaan siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran, kecemasan personal dan interpesonal, dan kepercayaan instruktor dalam proses pengajaran. Strategi yang digunakan murid untuk mengurangi perasaan cemas adalah persiapan, relaksasi dan positif thinking.   Kata Kunci: Kecemasan Siswa, Tes Berbicara, Faktor Kecemasan, Strategi

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui minat baca siswa kelas VIII SMP Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian survei. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah 119 siswa yang terdiri dari 42 siswa kelas VIII A, 37 siswa kelas VIII B, dan 40 siswa kelas VIII C. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah angket tertutup dan wacana yang disertai dengan enam butir soal. Analisis angket menggunakan skala Likert. Analisis angket menunjukkan bahwa siswa memiliki minat baca dalam kategori kuat dengan rata-rata sebesar 65,75%. Siswa memiliki pemahaman yang rendah dalam menjawab soal wacana dampak kebakaran hutan terhadap fotosintesis yaitu dengan rata-rata nilai sebesar 33,77. Kata kunci: deskripsi, minat baca siswa, fotosintesis. Abstract: This study aims to find out the reading interest of class VIII students of Junior High School (SMP) Santo Fransiskus Asisi Pontianak. The research method used was descriptive in the form of survey. The subjects in this research were 119 students consisting of 42 students of class A, 37 students of class B, and 40 students of class C. The instrument used was a closed questionnaire and a passage with six question items. Likert scale was used to analyze the questionnaire. The analysis of the questionnaire indicated that students had a high reading interest with an average of 65.75%. Students had a low comprehension in answering the questions of the passage on the impact of forest fires on photosynthesis that is with an average score of 33.77. Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to investigate the most dominant internal and external factor influencing students’ low English learning achievement. To achieve the purpose of this study, a descriptive research was conducted at SMKN 2 Pontianak with the sample of this study was the eleventh grade students of XI TSM class in Academic Year 2015/2016 which was chosen by using purposive sampling technique. The findings of this research revealed that (1) Negative attitude was found to be the most dominant internal factor influencing students’ low English learning achievement with the percentage was 78,86% and classified as strong influence. (2) Of the two external factor, unsupportive school environment was found to be the most dominant one with the percentage was 62,38% and also classified as strong influence and followed by lack of family support with the percentage was 40,12% which was classified as weak. To conclude, negative attitude which was supported negatively by the unsupportive school environment had a strong negative influence to the teaching learning process which consequently resulted in students’ low achievement.   Keywords : Internal Factors, External Factors, Low Achievement   Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor internal dan eksternal yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran bahasa Inggris. Untuk mencapai tujuan penelitian ini, sebuah penelitian deskriptif dilakukan di SMKN 2 Pontianak dengan subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI TSM pada Tahun Ajaran 2015/2016 yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Hasil dari penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa (1)Sikap negatif merupakan faktor internal yang paling dominan dalam mempengaruhi rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada pelajaran bahasa Inggris dengan persentase sebesar 78,86% dan digolongkan sebagai pengaruh yang kuat. (2) Dari dua eksternal faktor, lingkungan sekolah yang tidak mendukung merupakan faktor eksternal yang paling dominan dengan persentase sebesar 63,38% dan juga digolongkan sebagai pengaruh kuat dan diikuti oleh kurangnya dukungan dari keluarga dengan persentase sebesar 40,12% yang digolongkan sebagai pengaruh lemah. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa sikap negatif yang didukung oleh lingkungan sekolah yang tidak mendukung memiliki pengaruh negatif yang kuat pada proses belajar mengajar yang berakibat pada rendahnya hasil belajar siswa.   Kata Kunci: Faktor Internal, Faktor Eksternal, Rendahnya Hasil Belajar

Abstract

Absrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan  motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa, melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) pada materi wujud zat. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan dalam dua siklus. sebanyak 35 siswa kelas VII D SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap menjadi partisipan dalam penelitian ini. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini meliputi lembar  angket motivasi , dan  lembar  tes hasil belajar. Data yang diperoleh menunjukan adanya peningkatan persentase hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I ke siklus II sebesar 71,43% menjadi 80,00%. Hasil motivasi belajar siswa menunjukan peningkatan, yaitu pada siklus I ke siklus II kategori kuat 75,80% menjadi 81,14% kategori sangat kuat. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan model pembelajaran kooperatf tipe Team Assisted Individualization dapat meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi wujud zatKata kunci : Motivasi, Hasil Belajar, Kooperatif tipe TAI Abstract: The aims of this study is to increase motivation and learning outcomes, through the cooperative learning modelwith Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) type at the material states of matter. Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in two cycles. The participants of this research were 35 students in VII D class on SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Kakap. The instruments are consist of quesionnaire sheets motivation and achievement test. It showed that the inerease of student learning outcomes percentage on first cycle and second cycle is 71,43% to 80,00%. The results of student motivation showing improvement, namely in the first cycle and second cycle of strong category 75,80% to 81,14% strongest category. These results indicate the type Team Assisted Individualization (TAI) can improve motivation and learning outcomes of students in the material form of substance. Key Word : Motivation , Learning Outcomes , Cooperative Type TAI.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to develop learning media comic matter the fundamental equation accounting to their students class XI at SMA Negeri 1 Sambas and to knows the effectiveness of learning media comic in improving the study results students class X at SMA Negeri Sambas 1. Methods used in this research is research and development (R&D). While for measuring effectiveness of media be held on a students class XI IIS 1 (30 students). For data collection in this research used technique quesioner and tests ( pre-test and post-test ). The data collected from chief and tests analyzed qualitatively. The result of this research is: The effectiveness of learning media comic results of the try out analyzed of tests before and after learning comic media uses, where first trial students passed KKM increased from 43,33% be 93,33%, while the trial two students passed KKM increased from 60% be 93,33%. From the pilot implemented times as many as 2 , it can be argued that the media learning comic matter the fundamental equation of accounting effective in improving the study results students subjects economic class XI SMA Negeri 1 Sambas. Keywords: Learning Media, Comic, Fundamental Equation Accounting

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to obtain an overview to analyze how the mental health of learners in State Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya, and how the mental health characteristics of learners, and how factors that cause mental health of learners, and how the efforts of teachers Guidance and Counseling in improving the mental health of learners. The method used in this research is the descriptive method in the form of survey study that is the procedure with the problems investigated by describing or describing the mental health of the students of class VII in State Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya, and explained descriptively. Data collection in this study using questionnaire. Based on the results of mental health data analysis, students of Grade VII of Junior High School 3 Sungai Raya achieved actual score of 7850 and an ideal score of 9720 with 81% percentage of "Good" category. Which means showing that the mental health of students VII grade of Junior High School Negeri 3 Sungai Raya have good mental health.Keywords: Mental Health, Learners

Abstract

AbstractThe problem of this research was students’ learning outcomes of SMPN 1 Sungai Raya that below than the standard score,especially in probability topic. This research aimed to know the effect of cooperative learning model with group investigation type on students’ learning outcomes in probability topic. The form of this research was experiment and research design was post test only control group design. The samples of this research were 31 students of IX I class and 30 students of IX K class of SMPN 1 Sungai Raya.Essay questions was used to collecting the students’ learning outcomes. The result of this research showed that the average of posttest score of the experiment class was 12,63 and the average of posttest score of the control class was 10,97. Hypothesis was tested using U Mann-Whitney test showed that the result of Sig <  , is 0,039 < 0,05. The H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted, because sig < . It could be concluded that there was significant result of students’ learning outcomes between students had been given treatment using cooperative learning model with group investigations type and students had been given direct teaching model in probability topic. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Group Investigation,  Learning Outcomes, Mathematics

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat aktivitas peserta didik di kelas IV  SDN 35 Pontianak Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah  metode deskriptif dengan bentuk PTK dan dilakukan secara kolaboratif. Tempat penelitian di SDN 35 Pontianak Utara. Subjek penelitian yaitu guru kelas IV, dan peserta didik yang berjumlah 30 Peserta didik (15 laki-laki dan 15 perempuan. Teknik yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data yaitu teknik observasi langsung. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi untuk guru dan peserta didik. Data kemudian dianalisis dengan perhitungan persentase dan rata-rata kelas. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus, berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan persentase dan rata-rata kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran dari siklus satu ke siklus dua yaitu 2,53 (63,19%) pada siklus pertama menjadi 3,36 (84,03%) pada siklus kedua. Sedangkan aktivitas peserta didik yaitu 60,56% menjadi 82,78%. Ini berarti terdapat peningkatan kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran serta aktivitas peserta didik dengan menggunakan metode inkuiri pada pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam kelas IV SDN  35 Pontianak Utara. Kata Kunci: Aktivitas, Metode Inkuiri, IPA Abstract: This study aims to see activity of students in the fourth grade State Elementary School 35 North Pontianak. The method used is descriptive method with PTK shape and is done collaboratively. Place of research at State Elementary School 35 North Pontianak. Subject of research that teachers fourth grade, and students who were 30 Learners (15 men and 15 women). The techniques used in data collection are direct observation techniques. Data collector in the form of observation sheets for teachers and learners. Data is collected and analyzed by calculating the percentage and average grade. this study was done 2 cycles, based on calculations by the percentage and the average ability of teachers to implement learning from one cycle to cycle two: 2.53 (63.19%) in the first cycle to 3.36 (84.03%) in the second cycle. While the activity of learners is 60.56% to 82.78%. This means that there is an increase in the ability of teachers to implement learning and activity of learners using the inquiry metods to learning Natural Sciences fourth grade State Elementary School 35 North Pontianak. Abstract

Abstract:Problems in this research is there an increase in learning outcomes passing down the volley ball with the modification of the ball of paper on students of class IV SDN 35 Sekibul. The purpose of this study is to determine the increase of passing under the volley ball with the modification of the ball on the students of grade IV SDN 35 Sekibul. This research is a class action research with the subject of fourth grade students of SDN 35 Sekibul totaling 20 students. The results of the first cycle of students who completed 12 or 60% while the students and who have not passed or not yet completed is still the same amounted to 8 or 40% then proceed to cycle II students in order to have the opportunity for improvement so can be categorized graduate or complete all with students graduated amounted to 20 students and has not completed 0 or none. Keywords: Passing, Modification of the ball
