Abstract

AbstractThis research was inteded to know the effect of family environment on learning outcomes of eight (VIII) grade student on IPS subject  in SMP Negeri 3 Seponti Kabupaten Kayong Utara. The method used in this research  was descriptive method with relationship studies form.  The data collection  technique used in this research was direct communication , indirect communication, and documentation. The tools used in this research was questionnaire, interview, and documenter. The population in this research was 41 students of eight (VIII) grade students of SMP Negeri 3 Seponti Kabupaten Kayong Utara. The research result showed that calculated significance 0.004<0.05. Therefore,Ha accepted and Ho rejected. That means the family environment affected the learning outcomes and it can be showed by simple linear equation Y=50.850+0.172X and calculated hypothesis t-test>t table or 3.057>2.023. The effect size of  family environment on learning outcome from coefficient determination  test was 0.193 or 19.3%, which means that 19.3 % of the learning outcomes are influenced by the family environment and the other 80.7% are it self such as students intellectual factors and factors originating from the school environment.Keywords: Family Environment, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

  Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Pengaruh Kecerdasan Emosional Terhadap Hasil Belajar Ekonomi Siswa kelas XII IPS SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi hubungan. Sampel atau populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XII IPS. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tidak langsung dan teknik studi dokumenter. Sedangkan untuk menganalisis datanya peneliti menggunakan program statistik SPSS versi 16.0. dengan menggunakan SPSS ini maka diperoleh hasil analisis data yang menyatakan terdapat pengaruh  antara kecerdasan emosional terhadap hasil belajar ekonomi siswa sebesar sebesar 0,581 (R) dengan R Square 0,337 yang dideterminasikan dengan rumus KD = R2 x 100%  (KD = 0,337 x 100%) menjadi 33,7%, sedangkan 66,3% nya dipengaruhi faktor lain yang tidak dibahas dalam penelitian ini. Dan dalam penelitian ini terdapat tingkat hubungan rendah. Kata Kunci : Kecerdasan Emosional Hasil Belajar Abstract: This study aims to determine the effect of Emotional Intelligence Against Student Learning Outcomes Economy class XII IPS SMAN 9 Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive method with the form of research studies the relationship. Sample or population in this study were all students of class XII IPS. Data collection techniques in this study using indirect techniques and techniques of documentary studies. While the researchers to analyze the data using SPSS version 16.0. SPSS is the result of data analysis which states there is the influence of emotional intelligence on learning outcomes of economics students for at .581 (R) with R Square 0.337 which dideterminasikan the formula KD = R2 x 100% (KD = 0.337 x 100%) to 33.7%, while 66.3% are influenced by other factors not discussed in this study. Abstract

Abstrak : Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal matematika materi bilangan pecahan di kelas VII SMP LKIA Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek dalam penelitian adalah 34 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, dan pembahasan menunjukan bahwa pada umumnya siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal materi bilangan pecahan. Kesalahan-kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa adalah sebagai berikut : 1) kesalahan konsep meliputi salah dalam mengubah pecahan campuran menjadi pecahan biasa, menyamakan penyebut menggunakan KPK, menjumlahkan pecahan berpenyebut sama, menjumlahkan pecahan berpenyebut tidak sama, mengurangkan pecahan berpenyebut sama, dan mengurangkan pecahan yang berpenyebut tidak sama; 2) kesalahan operasi meliputi salah dalam berhitung saat mengubah pecahan campuran menjadi pecahan biasa,  menjumlahkan pembilang, mengurangkan pembilang, dan  menuliskan operasi. Kata kunci : Analisis Kesalahan, Bilangan Pecahan Abstract : The purpose of this research was to describe the students' mistakes in solving math fractions material to the seventh grade students of SMP LKIA Pontianak. The method of this research was descriptive with the form of case study. The subject of this research was 34 seventh grade students. Based on the data analysis and the discussion, it showed that generally many students did mistakes in solving the fractions material. The mistakes that had been done by the students were: 1) the misconceptions included wrongly converting from mixed numbers to improper fractions, equating the denominator using KPK, adding the fractions with the same denominator, adding the fractions with the different denominator, subtracting the fractions with the same denominator, and subtracting the fractions with the different denominator. 2) Operation errors included wrongly calculating in converting from mixed numbers to improper fractions, adding the numerator, subtracting the numerator, and writing the operation fractions. Abstract

  Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan aktivitas pembelajaran IPS dengan menggunakan teknik make a match pada siswa kelas IV SDN 35 Pontianak Selatan. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif. Bentuk penelitiannya adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN 35 Pontianak Selatan yang berjumlah 38 orang, dengan setting penelitian yaitu dalam kelas. Teknik pengumpul data yang digunakan teknik observasi langsung. Alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi. Teknik analisis data adalah menggunakan rumus persentase. Hasil yang dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah kemampuan guru dalam merencanakan pembelajaran meningkat dari 3,47 pada siklus I dan mengalami peningkatan pada siklus II menjadi 3,80 meningkat sebesar 0,33. Pada siklus III mencapai 3,85 meningkat sebesar 0,05 dan pada siklus IV mencapai 3,90 meningkat sebesar 0,05. Kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran meningkat dari 3,29 menjadi 3,58 meningkat sebesar 0,29 dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus III mencapai 3,79 meningkat sebesar 0,21 dan pada siklus IV mencapai 3,83 meningkat sebesar 0,04 dari siklus III ke siklus IV. Aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran meningkat dari 40,52% menjadi 63,16% meningkat sebesar 22,64% dari siklus I ke siklus II. Pada siklus III mencapai 78,38% meningkat sebesar 15,22% dan pada siklus IV mencapai 85,74% meningkat sebesar 7,36%. Kesimpulannya penerapan teknik make a match pada kelas IV SDN 35 Pontianak Selatan dapat meningkatkan aktivitas pembelajaran IPS.   Kata Kunci: Make a Match, aktivitas, pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial. Abstract: This study aims to determine the increase in social studies learning activities using techniques make a match in the fourth grade students of SDN 35 South Pontianak. The method used in this research is descriptive method. Form of research is the Classroom Action Research. Subjects in this study is the fourth grade students of SDN 35 South Pontianak totaling 38 people, with research that is in the classroom setting. Data collection techniques used direct observation techniques. Data collection tool used was the observation sheet. The data analysis technique is to use a percentage formula. The results achieved in this research is the ability of teachers to plan learning increased from 3.47 in the first cycle and increased in the second cycle increased by 0.33 becomes 3.80. In the third cycle reach increased by 0.05 and 3.85 in the fourth cycle reached 3.90 increased by 0.05. The ability of teachers in implementing the learning increased from 3.58 to 3.29 be increased by 0.29 from the first cycle to the second cycle. In the third cycle reached 3.79 increased by 0.21 and 3.83 in cycle IV achieve an increase of 0.04 of the third cycle to cycle IV. Activities in the learning process increased from 40.52% to 63.16% increased by 22.64% from the first cycle to the second cycle. In the third cycle reached 78.38% increased by 15.22% and in the fourth cycle reaches 85.74% increased by 7,36%. In conclusion technique must make a match in the fourth grade elementary school 35 South Pontianak can improve the learning activities of Social Sciences.   Keywords: Make a Match, activity, learning of Social Sciences.

Abstract

Abstract: The research investigated the use of semantic word mapping technique in vocabulary teaching. The research investigated the evidence that this technique was useful to use in vocabulary teaching. The researcher formulated two hypotheses, namely null hypothesis and alternative hypothesis. The research method was a pre experimental research with one group pre-test and post-test design. The sample of the research was 32 out of 40 students of class VIII E. The data were collected by objective tests and analyzed by paired t-test and effect size formula using Cohen?s index. After analyzing the research data, the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected, while alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted. The t absolute (4.16) was bigger than t critical (1.697) by degree of freedom 31. The effect size is categorized as large effect since the r value was 0.95 that was bigger than 0.80. The conclusion was the use of semantic word mapping in vocabulary teaching, a pre-experimental study on the eighth grade students of SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak in Academic Year 2015/2016 was significant and has large effect.Key words: Semantic Word Mapping, Vocabulary Teaching, Vocabulary Meaning Abstrak: Penelitian ini menginvestigasi kegunaan tehnik Semantic Word Mapping dalam pengajaran kosakata. Peneliti merumuskan dua hipotesis, yaitu hipotesis nol dan hipotesis alternative. Metoda penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pre eksperimen dengan satu grup pre-test dan post-test. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 32 siswa dari 40 siswa kelas VIII E. Data diperoleh dengan menggunakan objektif tes dan dianalisis menggunakan uji-t berpasangan dan ukuran efek menggunakan rumus indeks Cohen.  Setelah menganalisis data penelitian, hipotesis nol (H0) ditolak, sedangkan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima. Nilai t hitung (4.16) lebih besar daripada t tabel (1.697) dengan derajat kebebasan 31. Ukuran efek dikategorikan sebagai efek besar karena nilai r nya adalah 0.95, lebih besar dibandingkan  0.80. Kesimpulanya adalah penggunaan tehnik Semantic Word Mapping dalam pengajaran kosakata, sebuah penelitian pre-eksperimen pada murid kelas 8 SMP Negeri 5 Pontianak pada tahun akademik 2015/2016 adalah penting dan sangat efektif.Kata Kunci: Semantic Word Mapping, Pengajaran Kosakata, Makna Kata

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh informasi kompetensi sosial guru Sosiologi dalam mengefektifkan kemampuan afektif siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 02 Mempawah. Pendekatan penelitian yang diterapkan pendekatan kualitatif, metode penelitian berupa metode deskriptif dan bentuk penelitian studi survei. Subyek penelitian, guru mata pelajaran Sosiologi dan siswa-siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 02 Mempawah. Teknik pengumpul data adalah teknik komunikasi langsung dan observasi langsung. Alat pengumpul data berupa panduan wawancara dan panduan observasi. Pengumpulan data didukung pula oleh dokumen berupa foto penelitian dan soal-soal tes. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Kompetensi sosial guru Sosiologi dalam mengefektifkan kemampuan afektif siswa kelas XI IPS di SMA Negeri 02 Mempawah ditunjukkan dengan melakukan upaya-upaya untuk mengembangkan kemampuan afektif siswa, dengan mengutamakan profesionalisme tugas sebagai seorang guru. Kata kunci : Kompetensi Sosial Guru Sosiologi, Kemampuan Afektif Abstrack: This study aimed to obtain information social competence of teachers of Sociology in effecting the affective abilities of students of class XI IPS in SMAN 02 Mempawah. The research approach applied qualitative approaches, research methods such as descriptive methods and forms of study research surveys. The subjects of the study, subjects Sociology teachers and students of class XI IPS SMAN 02 Mempawah. Mechanical engineering data collector is a direct communication and direct observation. Data collector in the form of an interview guide and observation guide. The collection of data is also supported by documents such as photos research and test questions. Research shows that social competence of teachers of Sociology in effecting the affective abilities of students of class XI IPS in SMAN 02 Mempawah shown to make efforts to develop affective abilities of students, with emphasis on the professionalism of the task as a teacher. Abstract

 AbstractThis research aimed at determining the production of flipbook and the feasibility as a biodiversity learning media for X grade senior high school. This research consisted of two phases. The first phased is production of flipbook media. The second phased is feasibility of flipbook media. This research form was quantitative descriptive. The sampling techniques was purposive. The flipbook media validation had been done by two Biology Education Lecturers of FKIP UNTAN and three X grade senior high school biology teachers in three schools in in Sambas Regency. Based on the flipbook media validation, got a value Content Validity Index (CVI) as big as 0,99, which indicated that flipbook media valid or feasible as a media for learning biodiversity material.Keywords : Biodiversity, Flipbook, Production

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe the improvement of students’ learning outcome in learning cube and cuboid volume using manipulative media towards fifth grade students of Sekolah Dasar 14 Pereges Bengkayang. The method of this research is descriptive in form of classroom action research. The subject of this research is mathematics teacher and the fifth grade students, that is 24 students. Technique of data analysis used is observation and measurement. The tool of data collection is observation sheet and evaluation tests. Based on the data analysis, teacher’s ability on planning is 3.54 in the first cycle and 3.84 in the second cycle. Meanwhile, teacher’s ability on implementing is 3.39 in the first cycle and 3.91 in the second cycle. The students’ learning outcome is 25% in the first meeting and 87.5% in the second meeting of first cycle and 100% in both of meeting in the second cycle. In conclusion, manipulative media can improve mathematics learning of fifth grade students on the cube and cuboid volume material. Keywords: Learning Outcomes, Mathematics, Manipulative Media

Abstract

Abstract This research aim to describe the problem solving ability of students in solve of fraction story problem in term of their learning style. The research method used descriptive method with case study. The subject in this research were eight students 7th grade of SMP Negeri 7 Pontianak that are 2 students who have diverger learning style, 2 students who have assimilator learning style, 2 students who have converger learning style, and 2 students who have accomodator learning style. The result of the data analysis showed that the problem solving ability of students in solve of fraction story problem are different depending on their learning style. The problem solving ability of students in solve of fraction story problem who have  assimilator learning style able satisfy all the indicators of problem solving that are understanding the problem, devising a plan, carrying out the plan, and looking back. Student who have converger learning style able satisfy all the indicator of problem solving, but there is one student who is less able satisfy part  indicators of problem solving, students who have diverger learning style only able satisfy some indicat ors of problem solving, and students who have accomodator learning style able satisfy two indicators of understanding the problem, while other indicators are less satisfy even not fulfilled. Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to describe the increase in activities and learning outcomes of students in learning by using analogue manipulative media in class V Elementary School 9 Pontianak Barat. This form of research is a classroom action research with the subject of research teachers and students VD class of 37 people. The method used is descriptive method. Data collection techniques used are direct observation techniques, document scrutiny techniques with data collection instruments are observation sheets and formative test questions. Data analysis techniques used are calculate the average and percentage. This research is done as much as II cycle and every cycle consist of 3 meetings with result obtained are: 1) the ability of teacher to design learning starting from cycle I that is 3,62 and cycle II is 3,81; 2) the ability of teachers to implement the learning cycle I is 3.27 and cycle II is 3.88; 3) Student learning activity in cycle I is 65,94%, cycle II that is 76,22%; 4) Student learning outcomes in cycle I of 78.94 and cycle II equal to 86.86. From the data obtained shows that by using manipulative media can increase student activity and learning outcomes in class V Elementary School 9 Pontianak Barat. Keywords: Improvement, Activity, Learning Outcomes, Manipulative Media, Mathematics Learning
