Abstract

                                   AbstractThe title of the research was "Parenting Single Parenting (Case Study in DesaTeluk Kapuas Kecamatan Sungai Raya KabupatenKubu Raya)". The research method used was a qualitative research method with descriptive research type. The data source of this research was a single parent who is in the village of Teluk Kapuas. Data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation, data collection tools were observation guides, interview guides and documentation tools. The analysis in this study was presented in a descriptive qualitative manner, using 8 informants namely, 3 single parents and 5 children from the single parent. The results of his research that (1) Parenting applied by single parents is more dominant with democratic parenting patterns. Itwas proven by parents encouraging children to be open as expressed their opinions, there was good cooperation between parents and children in carrying out activities, there was guidance and direction from parents about good and bad deeds, as well as controls or supervision conducted by parents who were not rigid to children. (2) The impact of parenting that was applied by a single parent gives a positive impact; the child is more confident because it was given support by his parents, cares about the environment inside and outside the home and makes his parents a role model for him.Keywords: Parenting, Single Parents

Abstract

Abstract: This research uses research "Classroom Action Research" (Classroom Action Research) with variables: Improved Passing Down volleyball through media modified rubber ball. Subjects in this study were fifth grade students of State Elementary School 23 Palus Hulu subdistrict Belimbing Melawi totaling 28 students. This research technique using test and measurement, a test with a grating instrument measuring learning outcomes passing down the volleyball game. Analysis of data using percentages. These results indicate there is an increased ability under volleyball passing through modifications media inflatable balls At V grade students of State Elementary School 23 Palus Hulu subdistrict Belimbing Melawi. This is evidenced by the increased ability of passing down pretty good, that in the first cycle with an average value of 69.77 so the increase of 34.73%. while the average value on the second cycle is 82.14 so the increase of 58.62%. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan motivasi dan hasil belajar siswa pada materi perpindahan kalor melalui model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS). Penelitian dilakukan di SMP Negeri 1 Bunut Hulu di kelas VII dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 25 siswa.  Alat pengumpul data berupa tes essay, pengisian angket dan lembar observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan rat-rata hasil belajar pada siklus I sebesar 68,46 dengan ketuntasan 65,38% dan pada siklus II sebesar 73,84 dengan ketuntasan sebesar 73,07%. Sedangkan peningkatan motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I sebesar 73,03% dengan interprestasi skor tergolong kuat dan siklus II sebesar 81,15% dengan interprestasi skor tergolong sangat kuat. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Think Pair Share (TPS) dapat meningkatkan hasil dan motivasi belajar siswa pada materi perpindahan kalor. Kata Kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TPS.   Abstract: A classroom action research is to purpose improving the student motivation and cooperative learning process in material heat transfer through Think Pair Share (TPS) strategy. The subject of this research is at eleventh grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Bunut Hulu consist of 25 students. Tools of collecting data are essay test, questionnaire, and observation checklist. The result of the research it shown from the average of cycle test I was 68,46 with completeness 65,38% and in cycle II 73,84 with completeness 73,07%. While the students learning motivation increase in cycle I 73,03% with score interpretation is strength and cycle II 81,15% with score interpretation very strength. Based on the result, it can conclude that cooperative learning  Think Pair Share (TPS) strategy can improve student learning outcomes and motivation on heat transfer materials. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelancaran prosedural siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal persamaan kuadrat di kelas X SMKN 2 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian studi kasus. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 33 siswa kelas X Teknik Elektronika Industri SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik pengukuran dan komunikasi langsung. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa kelancaran prosedural siswa khususnya pada materi menyelesaikan persamaan kuadrat masih rendah, kebanyakan siswa belum mampu menyelesaikan soal secara fleksibelitas, efisiensi dan akurasi Kata Kunci: Kelancaran Prosedural, Fleksibelitas, Efisiensi, Akurasi Abstract: The purpose of this research is to explain procedural fluency of students in solving the problem of quadratic equations at SMK Negeri 2 Pontianak. The method research that used is descriptive method in case study research’s. The subject of the research are students grade of X Teknik Elekronika Industri SMKN 2 Pontianak. The technique of collection data used measurement and direct communication technique. The result of data analysis shows that the procedural fluency of students was still low, mostly students unable to solve the problem with flexibility, efficiency and accuracy. Keywords: Procedural Fluency, Flexibility, Efficiency, Accuracy

Abstract

AbstractThis research hopes to reveal the influence of the principal's situational leadership and the principal's motivation giving to the performance of elementary school teachers in Sebawi Sub-district, Sambas District. The research method is descriptive and the data collection technique is done by using a questionnaire. The sample of this research is elementary teacher in Sebawi sub-district of Sambas regency that is 57 respondents. The instrument consists of three variables that are principal situational leadership (X1), principal motivation (X2), and teacher performance (Y).Based on the analysis, this research obtained some findings. First, there was a significant influence between the principal's situational leadership on the performance of elementary school teachers, secondly, there was a significant influence between the principal's motivation giving toward the performance of elementary school, and thirdly, there was a significant influence between situational leadership and principal's motivation giving toward teacher performance.On the basis of the results of the study, for a principal to improve the teachers' performance, he needs to apply situational leadership style and should be able to provide motivation to improve the teachers' enthusiasm and performance. Meanwhile, the teachers are advised to always improve their performance for the sake of the improvement of the quality of education.Keywords: Headmaster's principal leadership, principal motivation, teacher performance

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to know the influence of school library utilization towards the student’s learning achievement of the economic subject on class XI IPS in SMAN 1 Ambawang. The method in this research is the associative method. This is a descriptive research. The population in this research is 134 students. The number of samples in this research is 57 students. Data collection techniques in this research are direct communication techniques, indirect communication techniques (library utilization questionnaire), and documentary techniques (data of student’s learning achievement). The result of this research showed that there is the positive influence of library utilization towards the student’s learning achievement on the economic subject in SMAN 1 Ambawang. This can be known from the t value is 13,072 which shows there is influence of library utilization towards student’s learning achievement. When it compared with t table on the significance level of 0,05 of 0,867 so that Ha is accepted. The conclusion of this research is library utilization has a significant effect on the student’s learning achievement of economic subject in SMAN 1 Ambawang. Keywords: Library Utilization, Learning Achievement, Economic Subject

Abstract

 AbstrakPenelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dalam pembelajaran Akuntansi di Sekolah Menengah Atas. Model pengembangan yang diterapkan terdiri atas; 1) tahap analisis kebutuhan, 2) tahap desain produk, 3) tahap produksi, 4) tahap validasi dan evaluasi, 5) tahap revisi, 6) tahap uji coba produk, serta 7) tahap analisis dan revisi akhir. Tahap validasi dilakukan dengan validasi produk yang dilakukan oleh ahli materi akuntansi, ahli media pembelajaran dan praktisi pembelajaran akuntansi yaitu guru akuntansi SMK Katolik Santa Maria Pontianak. Produk yang dikembangkan diuji cobakan pada 34 siswa kelas XI SMK Katolik Santa Maria Pontianak. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan angket dan tes. Angket kelayakan untuk ahli dan praktisi, angket pendapat dan soal tes ditujukan kepada siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran berbentuk Komik Akuntansi ini sangat layak untuk digunakan. Pada uji coba lapangan pembelajaran dengan menggunakan komik akuntansi, berhasil meningkatkan rata-rata nilai test siswa. Dengan demikian, media pembelajaran berbentuk komik ini sangat layak digunakan untuk pembelajaran akuntansi di SMK Katolik Santa Maria Pontianak Kata Kunci: Komik Akuntansi, Media Pembelajaran, Persamaan Dasar Akuntansi.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze the influence of the application of Bruner's learning theory to students' learning outcomes in third grade of State Elementary School 35 South Pontianak. The research method used experimental with quasi experimental design (form quasi experimental design) with form of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample in this study is a population sample with class III B as control class and class III A as experiment class chosen by simple random sampling. The data was collected in the form of an essay test. The results of this study were t tested t (count) of 2.4941 and t(table) (α = 5% and dk = 20 + 24 - 2 = 42) , 6827. Because t count (2.4941> t table (1.6827), thus Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The result of calculation of effect size of the result data of the control class students and the experimental class is 0.68 is classified in medium category, it can be concluded that the application of Bruner's learning theory gives a moderate impact on student learning outcomes in learning mathematics in class III State Elementary School 35 South Pontianak. Keywords: Bruner Theory, Learning Outcomes, Mathematics

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this research "The Role of Parents in Supporting Children?s Learning Outcomes (A Case Study of a Class XI IPS Mujahidin High School Pontianak". This study aims to find out the general problems in this study, namely "What is the role of parents in supporting children?s learning outcomes". With the sub-problems: (1) How is the role of parents as motivators in supporting children?s learning outcomes? (2) How is the role of parents as facilitators in supporting children?s learning outcomes?(3) How is the role of parents as mediators in supporting children?s learning outcomes? The form of research used in this study is qualitative research with descriptive research methods. Data collection techniques used observation, interview and documentation techniques. The results of this study are that the the role of parents in supporting children's learning outcomes as motivators, facilitators, and mediators can be concluded that it has been implemented well, although there are some indicators that are still not maximal in its application. Keywords:  Role, Parents, Learning Outcomes, Senior High School

Abstract

Abstract: The aim of this research is to improve students’ reading comprehension, especially in getting main idea, supporting detail and vocabulary aspect. This research was conducted to the first grade students of SMK PGRI Pontianak in academic year 2014/2015. In this research, the subject is Teknik Audio Video class that consists of 20 students. The researcher conducted a classroom action research in her research and acted as the teacher during the research period. The data were collected by using direct and measurement technique. The tools of data collecting were observation checklist, field note, and test. Semantic mapping was used as the technique in this research which is conducted the research in two cycles. The research findings showed that the mean score of students’ reading comprehension in the first cycle is 69 to 88 in the second cycle which means it successffully passed the KKM. It can be concluded that the students’ reading comprehension especially in getting main idea, supporting detail and vocabulary aspect taught by semantic mapping was improved. Penelitian ini telah dilakukan terhadap siswa kelas X TAV SMK PGRI Pontianak pada tahun akademik 2014/2015. Dalam penelitian ini sasaran penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas X TAV yang terdiri dari 20 orang siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas dan berperan sebagai guru selama masa penelitia berlangsung. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan tehnik penilaian dan observasi langsung dengan menggunakan tabel pemeriksaan, catatan lapangan, dan tes. Tehnik yang digunakan adalah semantic mapping dan dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus. Hasil penelitian menunjukan skor rata-rata tes siswa pada siklus pertama adalah 69 menjadi 88 pada siklus kedua yang berarti siswa dapat melewati standar KKM. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman siswa terhadap membaca, khususnya pada ide utama, kalimat pendukung dan kosakata dapat meningkat melalui pengajaran menggunakan semantic mapping.   Keywords: Pemahaman Membaca, Teks Deskripsi, Pemetaan Semantik
