Abstract

AbstractThe lack of learning outcomes of MTs Negeri 2 Pontianak Students of VII Class in Science, especially Energy was caused by the fact that there were many students who didn’t really understand Physics or find it hard to understand it and also the lack of motivation and interest in this field. This research used direct instruction as studying model which aims to increase learning outcomes in Science, especially Energy. The method used in this research was pre-experimental design with one group pretest-postest design that showed the comparison of before and after the test. The population of this research is MTs Negeri Pontianak Students of VII B-K, while the sample of this research was only one class  obtained with using simple random sampling technique that was VII B Class with a total of 36 students.This Research also collected data by giving the students pretest and posttest. The result of this research showed that there was an escalation of learnig outcomes before and after using direct instruction studying model with asymp. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi guru belum dapat memberikan suatu pembelajaran dengan pemecahan masalah. Salah satu kendalanya adalah rendahnya kemampuan siswa dalam memecahkan masalah yang ditandai antara lain: 1) Pemecahan masalah tentang pengenalan rumah adat, 2) Merancang rencana penyelesaian masalah tentang perbedaan bahasa daerah Kalimantan Barat, 3) Menganalisis pengenalan lagu Kalimantan Barat. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, secara umum disimpulkan antara lain: 1) Desain pembelajaran dengan model pembelajaran problem solving dikategorikan “sangat sesuai”, melalui fase penilaian, fase desain model dan fase produksi model pembelajaran problem solving untuk pembentukan sikap keberagaman budaya. 2) Prototipe penerapan model pembelajaran problem solving dikategorikan “sangat sesuai”, dalam hal ini kegiatan yang dilakukan: kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti, kegiatan penutup model pembelajaran problem solving untuk pembentukan sikap keberagaman budaya. 3) Sikap yang ditunjukkan siswa terhadap keberagaman budaya dikategorikan “sangat baik”, antara lain: antusiasme siswa dalam menganalisis pengenalan lagu Kalimantan Barat, respon siswa dalam merancang rencana penyelesaian masalah tentang perbedaan bahasa daerah Kalimantan Barat, respon siswa dalam pemecahan masalah tentang pengenalan rumah adat. Kata Kunci : Problem Solving Abstract: This research is motivated teacher can not provide a learning problem solving. One problem is the lack of ability of the students in solving a problem that is characterized among other things: 1) Solving the problem of the introduction of custom homes, 2) Designing problem-solving plan on language differences West Kalimantan, 3) Analyzing the introduction song of West Kalimantan. Based on the analysis of data, the general concluded, among others: 1) design study model of learning with problem solving categorized as "very appropriate", through the assessment phase, design phase and the production phase model of problem solving learning model for the formation of attitudes of cultural diversity. 2) Prototype application of learning models problem solving categorized as "very appropriate", in this case the activities performed: preliminary activities, core activities, activities cover problem solving learning model for the formation of attitudes of cultural diversity. 3) The attitude shown students to the cultural diversity categorized as "very good", among others: the enthusiasm of the students in analyzing the introduction of the song West Kalimantan, student responses in designing the plan of solving the differences of regional languages ​​of West Kalimantan, the response of students in solving problems concerning the introduction of home custom. Abstract

AbstractThis research was done to investigate how oral presentation technique improves students’ speaking ability. This classroom action research was conducted in 2 cycles of which each consists of four stages of planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The subject of this research was Year-11 students of SMAN 6 Pontianak in Academic Year 2018/2019. There were 33 students of MIPA 4 who participated in this research. The data were gathered from the students’ performance test, observation checklist, and field notes. Based on the data, the students showed improvement in their speaking ability. It was shown by the students’ enthusiasm to pay attention and follow every activity during the teaching and learning process. The implementation of this technique encouraged the students to speak and share their ideas in front of people. The data collected from the students’ performance test also revealed the improvement from cycle to cycle. In conclusion, the implementation of oral presentation technique improved students’ speaking ability.Keywords: Improving, Speaking Ability, Oral Presentation

Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengungkapkan kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dalam upaya meningkatkan kinerja guru melaksanakan pembelajaran di SD Negeri 67 Sungai Raya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah kepala sekolah dan guru SD Negeri 67 Sungai Raya. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi non partisipan dan studi dokumenter. Analisis data dilakukan melalui 3 alur kegiatan yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi data. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan  kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru melaksanakan pembelajaran di SD Negeri 67 Sungai Raya tidak mengalami hambatan yang berarti dan dapat dikelola dengan baik melalui beberapa kegiatan yaitu melaksanakan penilaian kinerja guru, melaksanakan supervisi akademik serta melaksanakan tindak lanjut hasil supervisi. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kinerja guru  Abstract:This research aims to revealthe principal's leadership in improving the performance of teachers implementing learning in primary schools 67 Sungai Raya. This study used a qualitative approach with case study design. Sources of data in this research is the principal and teachers SD Negeri 67 Sungai Raya. Data obtained through in-depth interviews, non-participant observation and documentary studies. Data analysis was performed through the third flow of activities of data reduction, data presentation , and data verification. Based on the analysis concluded that principal leadership in improving the performance of teachers implementing learning in SD Negeri 67 Sungai Raya did not experience significant barriers and can be managed through multiple activities that assess the performance of teachers, carrying out academic supervision and conduct follow-up results of supervision . Abstract

AbstractThe research aimed to know and to find out the effectiveness of talking chips to teach trigonometry to the grade x studens of MAS Darul Ulum Kubu Raya. The research participants were the class X IPA 2. The data were collected through the measurement technique in a written test and the observation to find out the effectiveness of talking chips technique in teaching-learning process. The findings showed  that there were some points. There are (1) The teacher’s rule in teaching learning process was (3,41) categorized as good; (2) the student’s activiness was ( 65,76%) categorized as active; (3) The student’s clasical achivement was (66,67%); (4) The student’s response was (84,79%) categorized as positive. In short, the use of talking chips was not affects the teaching trigonometry in the grade x studen’s of class X IPA 2 in MAS Darul Ulum Kubu Raya. Keywords: Cooperative Learning, Talking Chips, Effectiveness, Trigonometry

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan umum dari penelitian ini, adalah untuk ?untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dengan mengunakan media blok pecahan dalam pembelajaran mengenal pecahan sederhana peserta didik  kelas III  Sekolah Dasar Negeri 21 Pontianak Barat.Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dan sifat penelitian kolaboratif. Teknik penelitiannya itu menggunakan teknik observasi langsung dan teknik pengukuran dengan alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi dan lembar soal-soal.Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 2 siklus, setiap siklus terdiri dari 1 kali pertemuan. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh adalah untuk skor kemampuan guru merencanakan pembelajaran pada siklusI (rata-rata 3,50), siklus II (rata-rata 3,87), ada peningkatan sebesar 0,37. Pada kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan pembelajaran siklus I (rata-rata 3,57), siklus II (rata-rata 3,83), ada peningkatan sebesar 0,26. Sedangkan  pada hasil belajar peserta didik  siklus I(rata-rata 68,83), siklus II (rata-rata 91,5), ada peningkatan sebesar 22,67.   Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar,Media Blok Pecahan Abstract: The general objective of this study was to "to describe the learning outcome of students using the media block in learning fractions recognize simple fractions third grade students of State Elementary School 21 Pontianak West. This research uses descriptive method with the form of classroom action research and collaborative nature of the research. The research technique using the technique of direct observation and measurement techniques by means of collecting data in the form of observation sheets and sheets of questions. This research was conducted by 2 cycles, each cycle consisting of 1 meetings. The results obtained are to score the ability of teachers plan learning in the first cycle (average 3.50), the second cycle (average 3.87), there was an increase of 0.37. On the ability of teachers in implementing the learning cycle I (average 3.57), the second cycle (average 3.83), there was an increase of 0.26. While the learning outcomes of students the first cycle (average 68.83), the second cycle (average 91.5), there is an increase of 22.67. Keywords : Results Learning , Media Block Fractions

Abstract

AbstractThis study describes the realization of politeness in language in the film Surga yang Tak Dirindukan 2. Politeness is a procedure for communicating through language procedures. Politeness is also used as a benchmark for speakers of speech partners. The purpose of this research is to describe illocutionary speech acts, forms of language politeness speech, and the strategies of speakers in realizing language politeness.The theory used in this study is Leech's theory using the maxim theory in the politeness principle. This type of research is qualitative. The form of this research is descriptive. The research approach used is the pragmatic approach.Based on the analysis results in the film Surga yang tak dirindukan 2 concluded that there are 23 kinds of speech acts that are divided into four kinds of speech acts namely, assertive, directive, commissive and expressive. Forms of politeness politeness speech are in 5 forms of speech acts: politeness politeness speech in reminding, politeness politeness speech in suggesting, politeness politeness speech in offering, politeness politeness speech in pledging, and politeness politeness speech in praise. The politeness strategies of language there are five strategies which are divided into two, positive politeness strategies and negative politeness strategies: the strategy of realizing positive politeness: a) offering help or promises, b) using group identity markers, and c) giving praise and realization of negative politeness strategies: a ) apologies, and b) being pessimistic. Keywords: Realization of Politeness, Speech Act, Politeness Strategy, Film Surga yang Tak Dirindukan 2.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan Untuk mengungkap apakah budaya sekolah berpengaruh terhadap mutu guru pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Sekayam Kabupaten Sanggau. Untuk mengungkap apakah motivasi kerja berpengaruh terhadap mutu gurupada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Sekayam Kabupaten Sanggau. Untuk mengungkap apakah budaya sekolah dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh secara bersama sama terhadap mutu guru pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Sekayam Kabupaten Sanggau. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif dan teknik tidak langsung pengumpulan datanya dengan menggunakan instrumen yang berbentuk angket.  Sampel penelitian adalah guru pada SMP Negeri Di Kecamatan Sekayam yaitu sebanyak 35 responden. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapat beberapa temuan. Pertama, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan budaya sekolah (X1) dengan mutu guru (Y) memiliki tingkat signifikansi 0,004, nilai ini lebih kecil dari 0,005 atau sig < α ini berarti hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan” Budaya sekolah berpengaruh signifikan terhadap mutu guru pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Sekayam Kabupaten Sanggau “diterima”.Kedua, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara motivasi kerja (X2) dengan mutu guru (Y)memiliki tingkat signifikansi 0,002, nilai ini lebih kecil dari 0,005 atau sig < α ini berarti hipotesis penelitian yang menyatakan” Motivasi kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap mutu guru pada SMP Negeri di Kecamatan Sekayam Kabupaten Sanggau.   Kata kunci: Budaya Sekolah, Motivasi Kerja, Mutu Guru Abstract: This research aims to To reveal whether the school's culture influences the quality of teachers at the Junior High School in District Sekayam Sanggau. The sample was a teacher at the Junior High School in the District Sekayam as many as 35 respondents. Based on the analysis results obtained some findings. First, there is significant influence school culture (X1) with the quality of teachers (Y) has a significance level of 0.004, this value is smaller than 0.005 or sig <α means the research hypothesis which states "School culture significantly influence the quality of teachers at the Junior High School in SubdistrictSekayamSanggau "acceptable". Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini menelaah lebih dalam mengenai penggunaan eufemisme (penghalusan makna) yang ada pada kolom opini koran Pontianak Post bulan Desember 2015. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif dengan bentuk penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yaitu teknik studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data yaitu peneliti, alat tulis dan instrumen pembantu. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa referensi eufemisme dari 37 data yang disajikan, diperoleh data 1) referensi benda dan binatang sebanyak 4 data atau 11%, profesi sebanyak 1 data atau 3%, aktivitas 10 data atau 27%, peristiwa 2 data atau 5%, sifat atau keadaan 20 data atau 54%. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan referensi sifat atau keadaaan sebanyak 54% mendominasi dalam penggunaan referensi eufemisme. Selain itu, 2) fungsi eufemisme diperoleh fungsi sebagai alat menghaluskan ucapan sebanyak 10 data atau 27%, alat berdiplomasi 27 data tau 78% dari data keseluruhan. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan fungsi eufemisme sebagai alat berdiplomasi lebih sering digunakan dalam eufemisme.     Kata kunci: eufemisme, koran, referensi, dan fungsi. Abstrack : This study examines more deeply about the use of euphemisms (smoothing meaning) that exist in Pontianak Post newspaper opinion column in December 2015. This research uses descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. Data collection techniques are techniques of documentary studies. Data collection tool that researchers, stationery and auxiliary instruments. The results showed that the reference euphemism of 37 data presented, data 1) reference objects and animals as much as 4 data or 11%, the profession as much as 1 data or 3%, activity 10 data, or 27%, event 2 data or 5%, properties or the state of the data 20 or 54%. Based on these results concluded that the use of a reference nature or circumstances, as much as 54% dominate in reference usage of euphemisms. In addition, 2) functions as a euphemism derived function smooths greeting as many as 10 data, or 27%, diplomacy tool 27 Data tau 78% of the overall data. Based on these results, it was concluded euphemisms function as a tool of diplomacy is more often used in euphemism. Key word :  euphemism, newspapers, reference, and function.

Abstract

                         AbstractThis research aimed to determine and describe the reasoning and argumentation abilities of students in solving PISA on change and relationship content studied based on learning styles in SMP Negeri 10 Pontianak. The research method use descriptive method with case studies. The subjects in this study were six students from all learning styles. The results of data analysis show that reasoning and argumentation abilities vary depending on their learning styles. Students who have a kinesthetic learning style have low reasoning and argumentation abilities in solving PISA because they are only able to achieve one of the three indicators perfectly. Students who have a visual learning style have reasoning and argumentation abilities in solving PISA quite well because they are able to achieve two of the three indicators perfectly. Students who have an auditory learning style have very low reasoning and argumentation abilities in solving PISA because they are unable to achieve all three indicators perfectly.Keywords: Reasoning and Argumentation Abilities, PISA, Learning Style
