Abstract

 AbstractThis study aims to determine the effectiveness of the experimental teaching methods to remediate misconceptions students on vibration material in class X SMA 6 Pontianak. The method used an experimental method with pre Experimental Design draft form one group pretest-posttest with sample class X MIA 3 totaling 29 students selected at intact group. The average percentage decrease in the number of students who have misconceptions of 78.37%. The conception is found (100%) in the second indicator, the students assume that the mass effect on the frequency and amplitude of the pendulum. Based on an analysis using prices obtained McNemar test  the conception significant changes between before and after remediation implemented using experimental teaching methods. The effectiveness of the experimental teaching method is calculated using Decreasing of Quantity student that Misconseption (DQM) with a value of 78.3 (high). This research is expected to be used as an alternative form of re-learning remediation activities in order to overcome the misconception experienced by students. Keywords: Remediation, misconceptions, experimental learning method, vibration

Abstract

AbsractThis research was conducted to know how climbing the ladder game improved students’ vocabulary in descriptive text. It was conducted to solve students’ problems in meaning and spelling vocabularies  along with students’ reading comprehension. It is a classroom action research on the seventh grade students in SMP N 8 Pontianak. The subjects of the research are students of GRADE VII D, numbering thirty five students. The research was done in three cycle.  The datas were collected through observation checklist, field note, and written test in form of multiple choices test. The results indicate that climbing up the ladder game improved students’ vocabulary in recognizing the meaning of words and in spelling the meaning of words. Students’ improvement were proven by their mean scores which improved from 66.67 in the first cycle to 81 in the second cycle and 82.28 in thw third cycle.  Therefore, the students achieved KKMscore in the second and third cycle which means students improved their vocabulary.Key words: vocabulary, climbing up the ladder game, descriptive text

Abstract

AbstractThis research has purpose to examine the influence of  applying cooperatif model bamboo dancing type on academic achievement of social science elementary school students fourth grade at  SDN 68 Pontianak Barat. Experimental research method has been employed. Quasi eksperimental design and nonequivalent control group design has been used. 157 students in fourth grade of SDN 68 Pontianak Barat has been the population of this research. Measurement technique has been used.  40 Multiple choice questions are used as the data collect instrument. Based on the analysis of t-test the t value = 5,0310 and t table= (  = 5%) = 1,998 and it has shown  if there is influence of applying cooperatif model bamboo dancing type in the  academic achievement of social science subject. It is also find that the effect size =0,88( high level). As has been mentioned before, The usage of cooperatif model bamboo dancing type influence the academic achievement of social science elementary school students grade four at sekolah dasar negeri 68 pontianak. Key words : influences, cooperatif model, bamboo dancing, academic achievement, social science.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research is to describe the students?s learning outcomes in thematic learning using wayang as the learning media.  The method of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is first grade students of SD Negeri 17 Pereges. This research is done in three cycle where in each cycle has one phase: preparation, implementation, observation, and reflection. Technique of data collecting is observation and evaluation. The tool of data collecting in this research is IPKG I observation sheet, IPKG II observation sheet, and evaluation question in form of 10 multiple choice, 5 essays, and 1 question required skill to be shown. Technique of analysis data is qualitative and quantitative. Based on the data analysis, teacher ability on planning and implementing is improved. In the first cycle, the score of teacher ability on planning is 2.98 point, the second cycle is 3.64 point, and the third cycle is 4. Meanwhile, on the teacher implementation, the score in the first cycle is 3.39, the ceond cycle is 3.78, and the third cycle is 3.96. The result of students? evaluation is 56.25% in the first cycle, 75% in the second cycle, and 100% in the third cycle.             Keywords: Wayang, Thematic Learning, Learning Outcomes,

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyse the influence of model Number Head Together in the learning of Science against the results of the learning learners class V 24 State primary school East of Pontianak. The method used is an experiment with the form of a Quasi Experimental Design draft non equivalent control group design. The population of the entire learners from two classes totalling 51 people, the sample of this research is the learners class VB totalling 25 persons as class experiments and learners as a class VA class a control that add up to 26 people. Data collection techniques used are measurement techniques and data-collecting instrument is the written test multiple choice-shaped.  Based on the analysis of data obtained average results post-test class experiment 80.02 and average post-test control of 74.42. Hypothesis test results using a t-test (Polled Variance) thitung = 3.248 obtained as for dk (26 + 25-2 = 49) with significant level α = 5% obtained ttabel = 1.676, meaning thitung > ttabel, then the Ha received, this proves there is influence model Number Head Together in the learning Sciences. Based on the results of the calculation of effect size (ES) obtained ES = 0.59 which included the criteria of being, namely 0.59 < 0.8. This it can be said that the application of the model Number Head Together in learning natural sciences provide positive influence towards learning outcomes learner class V 24-State primary school East of Pontianak. Keywords: influence, Model Number Head Together, learning natural science, the results of the study.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of the study is "Perception of the Civil Teachers on Basic Skills Teaching Students of PPL-2 FKIP Untan in Abdi Wacana Christian High School Pontianak". Sub problem is how the tutor teacher's perception of the skills of PPL-2 students in implementing teaching methods such as; ask, explain, provide reinforcement, conduct variations of teaching, start and end lessons, manage classes, guide small group discussions, teach small groups and individuals. The research method used is descriptive with the form of skinative research. The research data was sourced from the results of the IPKG and interviews with the PPL-2 Student Civil Servant Teachers at Abdi Wacana High School. Based on IPKG, it is known that 3 students have a pretty good category, 5 students with good category, and 2 students with very good categories.Based on the perception of the KDM tutors, it is known that PPL students are good and varied in terms of asking, providing reinforcement, opening and closing learning skills. Whereas in terms of explaining, variation, classroom management,guiding small group discussions skills, and teaching skills in small groups and individuals skills, PPL students are still less skilled and less varied. From the results of the research that has been done, it is suggested that the Civil Service Teachers should guide them more often, supervise PPL students without allowing them to teach themselves more in class. For PPL students, it is suggested that they better prepare themselves while carrying out PPL-2 assignments even though they are temporary teachers, and many learn the techniques needed in the teaching process in the classroom Keywords: Perceptions of Civil Teachers on Basic Teaching Skills

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to describe the contribution of the typemake amatch technique toward students?s learning outcomescivics learning on grade V SDN 41Sungai Raya. This research used Experiment method with (Pre-experimental design). The population of this research are allstudent of Grade V that included 20 people. Based on data analyt obtained  data analysis  an average grade 60,10 pre-test and post-test average of 71,75. The results of hypothesis testing using t-test obtained t = 4,46 and ? = 0.05% is obtained t table of 1.729, which means that (thitung> ttabel) so Ha is accepted. Abstract

AbstrakPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk pengembangan modul untuk pendamping iman anak sekolah minggu dan pelaksanaan pengembangan modul untuk pendampingan iman anak sekolah minggu dengan subjek pendamping iman anak sekolah minggu adalah Paroki Santo Yosef Meraban Keuskupan Ketapang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian pengembangan Borg & Gall dengan model desain ADDIE. Data diperoleh melalui kegiatan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang diberlakukan pada subjek penelitian. Alur dari pelaksanaan penelitian ini melalui tiga tahapan utama yaitu (1) Tahap pra-penelitian, yang meliputi analisis  kebutuhan, penelitian dan pengumpulan data, dan tahap perencanaan, (2) Tahap pengembangan draft produk, yang meliputi mengembangkan tes kriteria, mengembangkan strategi pembelajaran, mengembangkan dan memilih bahan ajar, merancang dan melaksanakan evaluasi formatif, serta merevisi paket pembelajaran, dan (3) Tahap uji coba dan revisi evaluasi, yang meliputi uji coba tahap pertama dan  revisi hasil ujicoba pertama, dan hasil ujicoba revisi pertama di ujicobakan kembali. Hasil validasi ahli menunjukan pengembangan melalui kegiatan validasi ahli media, materi, dan desain pembelajaran sebagian besar dinyatakan valid dengan hasil pretes 68,63 sedangkan hasil posttest 77,22. Penigkatan juga dapat dilihat dari hasil uji 2 t sampel berpasangan yang menunjukan nilai hitung > t (11,09 > 1,708), artinya terdapat peningkatan pendamping iman anak sekolah minggu menggunkan modul. Dari sisi pengembangan iman dapat dilihat dari perolehan hasil pendampingan pada pembelajaran sekolah minggu melalui penggunaan modul pendamping memperoleh hasil yang baik, yang ditunjukkan dengan meningkatnya jumlah peserta didik yang hadir, dan siswa lebih aktif dalam bertanya dan menjawab pertanyaan yang disampaikan pendamping.Kata Kunci : Pendamping Iman Anak, Sekolah Minggu

Abstract

AbstractThis research have purpose to see how far media learning is used by teacher especially in sociology subject in Sungai Raya Senior High School 1. Method which used in this research is descriptive method in form of qualitative research about media learning’s utilization by sociology teacher in basic level of senior high school. The result of this research is utilization of leaning media especially in sociology subject in basic level still not optimal condition. This is related to some media like infocus need some preparation which wasting much time so in mostly time teacher rarely use this media in learning process. In the other side, in the school areas has been facillitated with wireless internet network which teoritically can support learning activities especially in sociology subject but this facility still indecent to do as it should be. That is because the lack network coverage to reach some point in the school .the other problem is related to the lack of student motivation and some caused by the lack of teacher abilities to maintain and organize learning activity in the class. Keywords : utilization in learning media,sociology teacher, sociology media learning

Abstract

Abstrak:Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendapatkan informasi yang akurat dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran Matematika di kelas V Sekolah Dasar Negeri 19 Rambai. Metode yang digunakan adalah menggunakan media kongkret. Terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar pada Base Line yaitu 39,85% meningkat menjadi 54,85% pada siklus I, pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 69,12%. Selisih peningkatan dari siklus II sebesar 14,27%. Dengan demikian skor rata – rata motivasi belajar siswa pada siklus I dan II dikategorikan meningkat.   Kata Kunci:Motivasi Belajar, metode kongkret, Matematika   Abstract:The aim of this study is generally to get accurate information to improve learning motivation in Mathematics teaching in class V elementary school 19 Rambai. The method used is concrete . There is increased motivation at Base Line Study is 39,85%, increased to 54,85% to the first cycle, the second cycle increased to 69,12%. Difference improvement from the first cycle to the second cycle of 14,27%.
