Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the application of the Time Out Method in group A children in the Equatorial Islamic Kindergarten. The Time Out method in question is to stop children aged 3-5 years from the activities they are doing. Usually the child will sit in a predetermined special place where 3-5 years old children may not leave the place before the specified time is up. The goal is to make children calmer, so that we as parents or caregivers are easier to talk to. Time Out's punishment has a good effect on children. Of the 11 research objects, the researcher focused the research on 1 (one) child who often received time out from the teacher due to the child's behavior. Data collection tools used by researchers are Observation Guidelines, Interview Guidelines, Archives or Documents, and Field Records. Data analysis in this study uses Qualitative Data Analysis. The results of the study are presented in the form of document attachments in the form of interviews with the Principal and Teachers of the Semsta Khatulistiwa Islamic Kindergarten and photos that are evidence in the study. The results showed that giving children time out provided learning for children to self-reflect in controlling emotions.Keywords: Time Out Method

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan pemanfaatan media Slide powerpoint untuk peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Sosial kelas V SDN 09 Pontianak Barat. Metode penelitian yaitu deskriptif, bentuk penelitian adalah tindakan kelas.Teknik pengumpul data obeservasi langsung dan teknik studi dokumenter. Alat pengumpul data berupa lembar observasi kemampuan guru merencanakan dan melaksanakan pembelajaran. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam 3 siklus dengan hasil (1) kemampuan guru merencanakan pembelajaran siklus I sebesar 3,22siklus II 3,35 dan siklus III 3,52. (2) kemampuan guru melaksanakan pembelajaran siklus I sebesar 3,08 siklus II 3,25, siklus III menjadi 3,54. (3) aktivitas belajar siswa siklus I yaitu 35,42% siklus II 46,70%, siklus III menjadi 53,99%. (4) hasil belajar siswa siklus I 66,09, siklus II 74,06, siklus III 80,00. Dengan demikian terjadi peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus. Kata kunci :Aktivitas, Hasil Belajar, Media Power Point. Abstract: Improved Student Activities and Results by Using Media Power Point Slides in Teaching Social Sciences in Class V State Elementary School 09 West Pontianak. The research objective was to describe the use of media power point slide in the increased activity and student learning outcomes in social studies learning class V SDN 09 Pontianak West. The research method is descriptive, the form of classroom action research. Mechanical data collectors that direct observation and documenter studies techniques. Data collector observation sheet form teacher's ability to plan and implement learning. As for the results of the study: (1) The ability of teachers plan learning first cycle of 3.22 to 3.35 second cycle and the third cycle of 3.52. (2) The ability of teachers to implement learning first cycle of 3.08, 3.25 second cycle, the third cycle to 3.54. (3) Activities of student learning first cycle that 35.42% 46.70% second cycle, the third cycle into 53.99%. (4) The results of student learning cycle I 66.09, 74.06 cycle II, cycle III 80.00. Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of local natural media media on fine motor development of children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Taman Ceria, Sasan Village. The method used is an experimental method with one-group design, pretest-posttest data with quantitative form. Subjects were 18 children aged 5-6 years, consisting of 9 girls and 9 boys. Sampling uses saturated samples in which the number of samples is less than 50, with data collection techniques using observation. Data collection techniques such as data processing and data presentation, testing data using statistical tests. The results of the data presentation show that there is an increase in fine motor using local natural media, in the form of rubber leaves, rubber seeds, and palm leaves. Then based on calculations done with SPSS assisted version 20, it is known that the t value in the SPSS output after data processing (paired sample t) is obtained with a Sig (2-tailed) value of 0.005 smaller than (0.05) while from the calculated results, obtained value (3,267)> from t table (2,1098). Sig value 2 tailed <0.05 and t arithmetic> T table then Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. So the results of the study showed that natural media is very influential in improving fine motor development in children aged 5-6 years in PAUD Taman Ceria, Sasan Village.Keywords: Ages 5-6 Years, Fine Motor Development, Local Natural Media.

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan metode eksperimen pada pembelajaran IPA untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Tebedak. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada setiap siklus mengalami peningkatan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I dengan nilai rata-rata 65,19 atau dengan persentase 40,74%, sedangkan pada siklus II hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 81,11 dengan persentase tingkat keberhasilan siswa mencapai 92,59%. Peningkatan hasil belajar siswa tersebut menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar Negeri 15 Tebedak.   Kata Kunci: Pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam, Metode  Eksperimen   Abstract: This study aimed to describe the use of the experimental method in science teaching to improve student learning outcomes at State Elementary School 15 Tebedak.. The results showed that the learning of Natural Sciences using an experimental method shows that student learning outcomes in each cycle has increased. This study was conducted in two cycles. Student learning outcomes in the first cycle with an average value of 65.19 or with the percentage of 40.74%, while in the second cycle student learning outcomes increased with an average of 81.11 with the percentage of the student success rate reaches 92.59%. Improving student learning outcomes showed that the Natural Sciences learning using the experimental method can improve learning outcomes of fourth grade students of State Elementary School 15 Tebedak.   Keywords: Learning Science, Experimental Method

Abstract

Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk mendeskripsikan penggunaan hukuman yang edukatif dalam membentuk perilaku disiplin pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di RA Babussalam Pontianak Utara. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah  naturalistik/kualitatif. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah guru kelas. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa jenis-jenis hukuman  adalah meminta maaf kepada orang bersangkutan, menyuruh anak untuk berjanji untuk tidak mengulangi kesalahannya, menyuruh anak untuk duduk di samping ibu guru, membaca do’a, menulis, menggambar, dan menyuruh anak bersama-sama merapikan barang yang telah digunakan. Tahapan-tahapan sebelum digunakan hukuman adalah guru menjadi contoh, pemberitahuan, teguran yang dilakukan beberapa kali, setelah beberapa kali diberikan teguran, nasehat, peringatan, dan hukuman. Cara guru mengevaluasi hukuman yang edukatif  dalam membentuk disiplin anak adalah guru melihat dari apakah hukuman tersebut bukan hukuman fisik, sesuai dengan anak, mendidik dan mencegah.   Kata Kunci: Hukuman, Disiplin, Anak Usia Dini   Abstract: The purpose of this study is to describe the use of educational punishment form discipline behavior in children aged 5-6 years in RA Babussalam North Pontianak. Supporting a research method used is naturalistic / qualitative. Subjects in this study were teachers kelas. Hasil research showed that certain types of punishment is to apologize to the people concerned, send children to promise not to repeat his mistake, send children to sit next to the teacher, reading prayers, writing, drawing, and send children together tidying goods that have been used. The stages prior to use punishment is the teacher becomes an example, notice, warning that to do several times, after several times given warning, advice, warnings, and punishment. Teachers method evaluate educational punishment in the form of discipline is the teacher sees a child of whether the sentence was not corporal punishment, in accordance with the child to educate and prevent.   Keywords: Punishment, Discipline, Early Childhood

Abstract

 Abstract The purpose of this research is to determine the effect of the application of the Active Debate learning model on class XI geography learning in SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. The research method used was quasi-experimental (Quasi Experimental), with quantitative research forms. The research data source is population of class XI IPS with sample class XI IPS 4 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 1 as the control class. Data collection techniques consisting of: measurement techniques, while the data collection tool used is a written test in the form of multiple choice totaling 50 questions. Based on statistical calculations the average learning outcomes of the control class is 80.97 and the average learning outcomes of the experimental class is 84.62. The results of learning the hypothesis test using the t-test were tarithnetic 6.2076 and ttable (? = 5% where dk -2 = 34 + 34-2 = 66) amounted to 1.997 so which means tarithnetic (6.2076)> ttable (1.997), then, Ha is accepted . From the results of the calculation of the effect size (ES) obtained an effect size of 0.716 in the medium category. From these explanations, it can be concluded that there is an influence on the application of active debate models in geography learning on the learning outcomes of students of class XI IPS in SMA Negeri 9 Pontianak. Keywords: Active Debate Learning Model, Geography Learning, Learning Outcomes

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the learning outcome of students in the learning of Social Sciences by using Make a Match in class III State Elementary School 4Teluk Suak Bengkayang. The research method used is descriptive. Form of research is classroom action research. The sample was 20 students. Data were analyzed using direct observation. Data collector is observation sheet teachers in implementing the learning ability and pieces of learning outcomes of students. This research was conducted three cycles, with the result; (1) The ability of teachers to prepare lesson plan first cycle of 3.71, 3.86 second cycle, and the third cycle 3.86 increased 0.15 in the second cycle and keep 3.86 in third cycle. (2) The ability of teachers in implementing the learning first cycle of 3.07, 3.54 second cycle and the third cycle 3.85 increase 0.47 in the second cycle and 0.31 in the third cycle. (3) The results of study of students in the first cycle of 64.50, 76/50 in second cycle and the third cycle 90.00 increased by 12.00 in second Cycle  and 13.50 in third Cycle.Make a Match can improve learning outcomes of social science in grade III primary school 4 Teluk Suak Bengkayang. Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian bertujuan mengukur kemampuan siswa dalam menulis teks prosedur kompleks. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan bentuk penelitiannya adalah kualitatif. Sumber data penelitian adalah siswa kelas              X MIA 5 yang berjumlah 38 orang. Data penelitian adalah hasil tes teks prosedur kompleks “Pembuatan E-KTP”. Teknik yang dilakukan dalam penelitian adalah teknik komunikasi tidak langsung. Kemampuan menulis siswa dengan menerapkan struktur teks prosedur kompleks “Pembuatan E-KTP” dikategorikan kurang baik dengan persentase 74,34%. Kemampuan siswa menerapkan kalimat imperatif teks prosedur kompleks “Pembuatan KTP Elektronik dikategorikan kurang baik dengan persentase 73,68%. Kemampuan siswa menerapkan konjungsi temporal teks prosedur kompleks “Pembuatan E-KTP” dikategorikan tidak baik dengan persentase 69,29%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa keterampilan menulis teks prosedur kompleks “Pembuatan E-KTP” pada siswa kelas X MIA 5 SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak kurang baik dilihat dari hasil analisis terhadap tulisan siswa dengan nilai yang tidak memenuhi standar KKM (78,00) mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di sekolah tersebut. Kata kunci: keterampilan, menulis, teks prosedur kompleks Abstrac: The research aims measure students’ skill in writing text procedure complex. The method used research was descriptive, and the form of research  was qualitative. The resource of data investigation was ten (x) grade students of X MIA 5 calculated 38 persons. Data in research was result of text procedure complex “making E-KTP”. The technique did in research was technique indirect communication. The students’ writing skill applied structure text procedure complex on “Making E-KTP” categories inadequate with percentage 74,34%. The students’ skill in applied imperative sentence on text procedure complex “Making E-KTP categorizing inadequate with percentage 73,68%. The students’ skill in applied conjunction temporal inadequate with percentage 69,29%. Based on result of investigation as concluded in general that skill writing of text procedure complex “Making E-KTP” on students ten (X) grade of MIA 5 SMA Negeri 4 Pontianak inadequate looked from result of analysis toward students’ writing with score that did not fill standard KKM (78,00) major Indonesian in that school. Abstract

 AbstractThis research is aimed to know the influence of mind mapping learning model  students?s learning outcome in social science grade V Elementary School state of 20 South Pontianak . This research has been used experiment method with quasi experiment and design research was nonequivalent control group design. Result research obtained average result of post-test control class is 62 and the avarege result of post-test experimental class is 68,14. Test result of t-test got thitungamounted to 2,2327 and ttabel (? = 5% with dk = 49) amounted to 1,6794 that is meant thitung (2,2327) > ttabel (1,6794), so Ha is received. The conclusion exists influence mind mapping learning model students?s learning outcome in social science grade V Elementary School state of 20 South Pontianak. The counting of effect size (ES), got ES amounted ti 0,75 (high category).Key Words : Influence, Mind Mapping Learning Model  , Learning Outcome, Social Science

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to determine the feasibility of leaflet making of ginger syrup (Zingiber officinale) as a learning medium on sub chapter the role of plants in economics class X high school. This research was a descriptive research. The data were collected using a validation instrument. Validation was done by 5 validator, 2 validator was a lecturer of biology education, while 3 other validator was a biology teacher of class X high school using the 2013 curriculum in Pontianak city. The result of  leaflet validation with 14 criteria obtained CVI value equal to 0.99 in accordance with minimum CVI value of Lawshe for 5 validator the value of 0.99. So that media leaflet was categorized valid and declared feasible as learning media on sub chapter role of plants in economics class X high school.  Keywords:  leaflet, ginger syrup, role of plants in economics class X high  school
