Abstract

Abstract This research discussed the Transfer of Media, Library collection in the Libraries of Pontianak State Islamic Institute (IAIN) library. The purpose of this research was to see what collections  the media will change, and the purpose of this changing the media for library collections. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive research from. Collecting data in this study  by observation, interviews, and documentation. The informants in this study was the head of the library and staff of Library. The results of this study indicate that the library of the Islamic Institute of Pontianak State Islamic Institute (IAIN) library, in the collection of student scientific works, grant books from lecturers, and IAIN educational staff is carried out by transferring media. Total collection of scientific works of students there are 1,398 book titles and the number of grants from IAIN lecturers and academic staff there are 324 titles. Switching media was chosen as an efferot to preserve library collection to avoid damage to library collection and to avoid lack of space in the library. Media transfer was carried out at the IAIN library with process of inventory collection, scanning, editing, file conversion to digital form and media to PDF form.Keywords: digital, media transfer, preservation

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the effect of rubber farmers' income on the welfare of the community in Semuntai Village, Sepauk District, Sintang Regency. The type of research approach used is quantitative research with survey methods in the form of relationship studies/correlation studies. The data sources of this research are rubber farmers in Semuntai Village with a sample of 106 respondents. Data collection techniques used in this research are indirect communication techniques and documentary study techniques. Data collection tools used in this study were questionnaires and documentation. The research instrument is validity test and reliability test. The results showed (1) the average income of rubber farmers was included in the medium income group with the average income received by rubber farmers in one month of IDR 1,500,000 – IDR 2,500,000 and included in the good category with a percentage of 81.06%. (2) community welfare is included in the good category with a percentage of 80.77% in terms of children's education, health, housing, information and communication technology. (3) the income of rubber farmers has a significant effect on the welfare of the community by 89.5% while 10.5% is influenced by other variables or factors that are not investigated further.Keywords: Rubber Farmer Income, Community Welfare

Abstract

Abstract This research motivated by a learning system that is still conventional with lectures and assignments or group work and the use of learning media is still minimal at the beginning of the semester so that students are less enthusiastic in learning. The purpose of this study to produce learning media, namely the Uno Card media so that students are enthusiastic and active in the learning process. The research procedure used the PPE (development model Planning, Production, and Evaluation)by Richey and Klein. Data collection techniques is qualitative in the form of revisions by media experts and interviews and quantitative data from assessment questionnaires. The results of this study: (1) The assessment of Learning Practitioners is 0.99 from 0-1 by using CVR & CVI calculations which are declared valid or suitable for use. (2) Student assessment obtained 0.92 from 0-1 range by using CVR & CVI calculations declared valid or suitable for use. Keywords: Development, Kartu Uno, Ecenomic Learning

Abstract

AbstrackThis study aims to describe the analysis of characters and characterizations in the novel Trauma by Boy Candra with a behavioristic psychology which means that changes in behavior as a result of the interaction between stimulus and response. This research uses descriptive method, qualitative research form, and behavioristic psychology approach. The data source in this research is the novel Trauma by Boy Candra. The data in the study are in the form of quotations, words, phrases, and sentences. The data collection technique in this research is a documentary study. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that. 1) the author describes the main character, namely directly and indirectly. The main characters in the novel Trauma by Boy Candra are Kimara who has a friendly, vindictive, and caring character, 2) the author describes the additional characters in the novel Trauma by Boy Candra, either directly or indirectly. Mother has a caring character, Ardi Sabil has a humble character, Kori Marsandi has a bad- tempered character, Dent Sasindra has a selfish and liar character, Raditio Rahadi has a caring character, Mona has a friendly character, Grandpa has a caring character, and finally the additional character is Putra Marnanda. has a deceitful character. The results of this study can be implemented in learning Indonesian in high school, especially in class XII students in even semesters.Keywords: Behavioristic, Character and Characterization

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research was to know about the role of youth organization in coaching youth life skills at Desa Gunung Gajah Sejahtera Kecamatan Pemangkat. This research used qualitative research with descriptive method. The techniques of data collection were observation, interview and the study of documentation, where as the tools of data collection were the directive of observation, directive of interview, the notes and the files. This research sources were primer data and secodary data. The result of the research indicate that life skills that occur in coaching conducted by the management of youth organizations occur very well and are interrelated. Personal skill consisting of the ability to dig up information and the ability to solve problems occur very well, then social skill consisting of the ability to communicate, have a sense of empathy, and the ability to work together in the coaching also occur very well.Keywords : Role, Youth Organization, Youth Coaching

Abstract

AbstractDescription of moral values in the folklore of the Dayak Bakati Riuk community in Sango Village, Bengkayang Regency. The method used is descriptive. The form of research is qualitative. The meaning of the data in this research is folklore told by informants in Sango Village, Bengkayang Regency. Data collection techniques by means of observation techniques, interview techniques, recording techniques, and recording techniques. Based on the overall data, the folklore of the Dayak Talenti Riuk community in Sango Village which was analyzed amounted to 31 data. This research is related to the 2013 curriculum for Indonesian language subjects in class X SMA in odd semesters which is proposed as a reference material (folklore) for teaching and learning activities in schools.Keywords: Oral literature, Moral Values, Folklore

Abstract

This research discusses the problem of the use of diction and language style in the writing of short stories of class IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The purpose of the research is to describe the use of diction based on its meaning, lexical, and language style in the writing of short stories of grade IX students of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. The method used is descriptive method in qualitative form. The data source of this research is the ninth grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Sungai Raya. Data collection techniques used written test techniques with observation, assignment, field survey, data retrieval, and documentation. The research resulted in the use of diction based on its meaning, namely: denotative as many as 13 students while connotative as many as 22 students, the use of diction based on lexical as many as 14 students in the form of synonyms and as many as 18 students in the form of antonyms, while language styles were used as many as three language styles, namely: comparison, affirmation, and opposition in writing short stories of 32 students in class IX E.

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to analyze "The Effect of Manipulative Media Use on Student LearningOutcomes in determining the relationship between units of time, between units of lengthand between units of weight" The research method used is an experimental method withthe form of research Quasi Experimental Design, with experimental design Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The population in this study were all fourth gradestudents of SD Negeri 12 Pontianak city for the 2017/2018 school year. The sample inthis study consisted of 29 people from class IV A (manipulative media class) and 27people from class IV B (visual media class).The data collection tool is in the form of astudent learning outcome test, which is in the form of description questions with a totalof 10 questions. The average learning outcomes of the final class test usingmanipulative media were 83.48 and the average learning outcomes of the final classtest using visual media 72.66. Obtained the final test data t count of 3.1181 and t table(α = 5% and dk 29 + 27 -2 = 54) of 1.6671, because tcount (3.1181)> t table (1.6671),then Ha accepted. So, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the use ofmanipulative media on the learning outcomes of fourth grade students in mathematicslearning at 12 Pontianak City Elementary Schools. From the calculation of the effectsize (ES), the ES obtained is 0.80 (high criteria) .Keywords :Manipulative Media, Learning Outcomes, Mathematics

Abstract

The aim of this research was to find out the appropriate design of the reading interactive learning multimedia for the Eight grades student of SMPN 04 Batu Ampar. The type of this research was Research and Development (RD). The procedure was adapted from ADDIE model by Taylor. ADDIE stands for analyse, Design, Develop, Implementation, and Evaluate. The subject of this research was the eight grades students of SMPN 04 Batu Ampar. The data were collected through questionaries (need analysis and Expert Judgment). Design phase was done to prepare the appropriate material to create the application. Develop phase was done to create an essential part of the N4V (Narrative text for Vocabulary). The design product was complete after have an expert validation regarding to the student needs, and already stated valid to be use by the expert validator. The N4V considering the Learning Multimedia, Application and Games. To sump up, it was found that N4V is usable to support learning reading narrative text to assist students in enrich vocabulary.

Abstract

AbstractThe research focus states that integrated thematic learning with saintific approach within Publick Primary School 07 Dungkan Districk Teriak Bengkayang Region. The purpose of this research is to analyze the integrated thematic learning with saintific approach..The informans of this research are the head master, grade IV class teacher and students grade IV Publick Primary School 07 Dungkan. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. The collecting data technic used were observation, interview, and the documents. The data analyzed of this research was descriptive qualitative. The research data results showed, that the integrated thematic learning with saintific approach have been going on in accordance with 5 steps of saintific activities,namely observing, questioning, trying,reasoning, and communicating. She didn’t implement assessment of affective and motoric students competencies. The head master did help by giving chances to her to follow KKG, discuss with peer teching who haved a good experience to solv the problem.Keywords: Approach, Learning, Saintific, Thematic, The Integrated
