Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the family environment on student achievementin economics class XI IIS at SMAS Bawari Pontianak. The method used in this research isdescriptive method. the form of the research, the form of research that is determined is thestudy of relationships (Interrelationship Studies). Data collection techniques are directcommunication techniques, indirect communication techniques and documentary studytechniques. Data collection tools are questionnaires, interviews and notes. 1) This researchis a population of 102 students of class XI IIS SMAS Bawari Pontianak. A sample of 50students consists of 3 classes. 2) The family environment of class XI IIS SMAS BawariPontianak 83.66% is categorized as very good. Student achievement in class XI ISS SMASBawari Pontianak is the highest class XI IIS 1 followed by class XI IIS 2 and the last isclass XI IIS 3. 3) There is an influence of family environment on student achievement inclass XI ISS SMAS Bawawi Pontianak, the value of t_count is obtained =30.977 greaterthan the value of t_table = 2.010. 4) How much does the family environment affect studentachievement in class XI IIS SMAS Bawari Pontianak, namely Y= 31.13 + 0.530 XKeywords: Family Environment, Learning Achievement

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to describe the feasibility of thematic learning teaching materials in class V SDN 39 Pontianak City. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at SDN 39 Pontianak City. Sources of data in this study were teaching materials made by fifth-grade teachers at SDN 39 Pontianak City, as many as three teaching materials on theme 5, sub-theme 3, learning 1, 3, and 5. The method of collecting data in this research used interviews and documentation studies. The results showed that the teaching materials used by teachers in thematic learning in class V at SDN 39 Pontianak City were considered quite feasible. For the feasibility of the content and linguistics of teaching materials in thematic learning, theme 5, sub-theme 3, 1st, 3rd, and 5th lessons used by teachers are considered appropriate and in line with the guidelines according to the BSNP. As for the feasibility of presenting teaching materials in thematic learning of theme 5, sub-theme 3 of the 1st, 3rd, and 5th learning used by teachers, it is considered inappropriate and not in line with the guidelines according to the BSNP.Keywords: Feasibility, Teaching Materials and Thematic Learning

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa dengan menggunakan strategi Card Sort. terhadap peningkatan Hasil Belajar Mata Pelajaran Sejarah Kebudayaan Islam (SKI) materi prestasi Khulafaur Rasyidin pada siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri Sungai Pinyuh. Bentuk penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Adapun sumber datanya adalah siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri Sungai Pinyuh. Sedangkan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, pemberian tes dan dokumentasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menyimpulkan sebagai berikut: Pertama, Hasil Belajar siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri Sungai Pinyuh pada materi prestasi Khulafaur Rasyidin sebelum menggunakan strategi Card Sort masih terbilang rendah dengan perolehan nilai rata-rata kelas sebesar 58,8 dengan kategori cukup. Kedua, Hasil Belajar siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri Sungai Pinyuh pada materi prestasi Khulafaur Rasyidin setelah menggunakan strategi Card Sort mengalami peningkatan. Pada siklus I nilai hasil belajar siswa sebesar 69,5 dan pada siklus II memperoleh nilai 75,0 dengan kategori baik, dan dengan angka ketuntasan sebanyak 100%. Ketiga, Terdapat Peningkatan Hasil Belajar siswa kelas VII MTs Negeri Sungai Pinyuh pada materi prestasi Khulafaur Rasyidin setelah menggunakan strategi Card Sort. Perolehan nilai pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 69,5 dengan kategori baik, dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 10,7%. Pada siklus II nilai rata-rata kemampuan siswa meningkat menjadi 75,0 dengan angka ketuntasan siswa mencapai 100%. dengan penigkatan hasil belajar siswa dari pra tindakan sebesar 16,2%

Abstract

AbstractThis study aims to determine the level of education and financial literacy of parking attendants in the city of Pontianak. The research method used is descriptive in the form of survey research. The approach taken by the researcher is a qualitative approach. The indicators in this study are education level, financial knowledge, savings and insurance carried out in five traditional markets in the city of Pontianak, namely: 1. Flamboyant market, 2. mawar market, 3. kemuning market, 4. Dahlia market, and 5. Parit besar market. big. Based on the results of the research conducted, it shows that in the last education level, Senior high school 5 people, junior high school 3 people, and primary school 6 people, the financial knowledge of parking officers almost all parking officers do not understand financial knowledge, savings shows that some of the 14 parking attendants who set aside the income for saving is 7 people and those who don't save are 7 people, insurance shows that parking attendants who have insurance are 2 people and those who don't have insurance are 12 people, So, the education level and financial literacy of 14 parking attendants are supported by 26 books, 13 journals and 8 previous thesis.Keywords: Education Level, Financial Literacy, Parking Officer.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the percentage of learning difficulties for class VIII students at SMP Negeri 17 Pontianak, approval of learning in the material on movement systems in plants and what factors cause students' learning difficulties on material on movement systems in plants in class VIII SMP Negeri 17 Pontianak. This method uses a case study, with research subjects being class VIII G students. Three instruments were used to collect data, namely diagnostic tests, questionnaires and interviews. The results of the research show that the percentage of indicators regarding the difficulty of class VIII students at SMP Negeri 17 Pontianak in understanding the material on movement in plants is 60% with sufficient criteria. The causal factors that influence students' learning difficulties can be seen from the percentage of internal factors of 63.83 and external factors of 59.93 in the strong and sufficient categories. Thus, class VIII students at SMP Negeri 17 Pontianak experience difficulties caused by internal and external factors.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of This Study is to determine The participation of the community in the utilization of village funds to support the implementation of early childhood education in the village of Nanga Kantuk. A common problem in this research is how the participation of the community in the utilization of village funds support early childhood education in the village of Nanga Kantuk?. The approach used is a qualitative approach with the method of in-depth interviews. Data collection techniques used interviews and documentation. The results of this study showed that community participation in planning, implementation, and supervision of the utilization of village funds to support the implementation of early childhood education in the village of Nanga Kantuk had done well. This is evidenced in the planning stage, that the village government and the community actively follow the village's deliberations. At the stage of implementation, the community formed a team to implement the construction of the education can run well. On the stage of the surveillance, society and the village government is also actively involved in supervising the construction of early childhood education’s building.Keywords: The Participation of the Community, Village Funds, Implementation of the Early Childhood Education

Abstract

This study aims to determine the cooperation between principals and teachers in building a quality culture. This research method uses qualitative methods. The research subjects amounted to 4 people, namely the Principal with a male gender aged 53 years, the Deputy Principal for Curriculum Sector with a male gender aged 45 years, the Deputy Principal for Public Relations with a female gender aged 53 years, and teachers senior with male gender aged 48 years. Data collection techniques with interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis uses data collection, data reduction, data display and conclusion drawing/verification. Checking the validity of the data used is by triangulation of methods and triangulation of data sources. The results showed that: 1) quality culture planning was carried out in accordance with the quality-oriented school work program in accordance with the National Education Standards (SNP). 2) Implementation of Quality Culture, Implementation of Quality Culture in SMK Negeri 3 according to National Education Standards (SNP), 3) Barriers to the implementation of quality culture, namely facilities and infrastructure, especially for student practice equipment which is still lacking, obstacles in creating a safe environment, beautiful, fun. In addition, obstacles in creating a safe, beautiful and pleasant environment, and 4) Overcoming obstacles in implementing a quality culture, optimizing the use of existing facilities and infrastructure, proposing assistance for facilities and infrastructure to the central government and the education office, procurement of facilities and infrastructure comprehensively. gradually through the allocation of BOS funds and other funds. The conclusion of this study is that the Principal's Collaboration with Teachers in Building a Quality Culture has been carried out well in order to improve the quality of education. The implications of this research can be used as input in improving the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

AbstractThe thesis entitled The Implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning Model in Geometry Subject in SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) model in geometry subject in SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. The research method used was pre-experimental design with the research design used was one shot study design. The study sample was 30 students from class XII AP 1 of SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. From the results of the study it showed that the teacher’s ability (researchers) in implementing learning with the CTL model was very good with an average of 3.84, the percentage of student’s learning activity based on groups was classified as very active with an average of 96.73% and student respond positively to learning with a percentage of 81.17%. 53% of students reached proficiency levels in study. It can be concluded that learning using the Contextual Teaching and Learning model is not effective for 12th grade geometry subject in SMK Negeri 3 Pontianak. Keywords:  Contextual Teaching and Learning Model, Geometry Subject,                    Learning Effectiveness

Abstract

AbstractThis study aimed to exploit the creative potential of students in numeric assignments assessed from the self-confidence a students. This type of research was descriptive research. The subjects in this study involved 9 junior high school students. The object of this research was the potential for creative thinking of students in material assignments that are reviewed from self-confidence. The data aids used were  creativity tests, questionnaires, and interviews. An analytic framework to expose the potential for creative thinking using “The Torrance Tests of Creative Thinking (TTCT)”. While the data analysis technique used qualitative data analysis by Miles and Huberman method. The test results obtained are from 9 students, there were 4 students who are in high self-confidence who have the ability to think mathematically creative "very good", "good" and "sufficient", 4 students were in self-confidence who have the ability to think mathematically creative "very good "," Good "and" enough ", and the remaining 1 student was in low self-confidence who has" less "mathematical creative thinking skills. Keywords: Creative Thinking, Number, Self Confidence

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students' skills in writing descriptive essays. The research method is descriptive qualitative. The object of research is student essays which are assessed from the aspects of spelling usage and writing, word/diction writing, inter-sentence integration, inter-paragraph integration and overall content. Sources of data are students of class IVB SD Kartika XVII-1 Pontianak City, totaling 25 students. This research uses interview, test and documentation techniques. The results showed that the average descriptive essay writing skill was 56 in the (less) category. This can be seen in terms of the percentage of students getting scores in the very good category, none in the good category, 6 students or 0.24%, the enough category 6 students or 0.24%, the less category 13 students or 0.52%. Accuracy in writing descriptive essays has several aspects including the use and writing of spelling (use of capital letters, punctuation, writing less letters, hyphens), integration between paragraphs, and overall content. It can be concluded that the ability to write descriptive essays for class IVB students is included in the sufficient category because there are still some students who are less precise in writing descriptive essays
