Abstract

This research discusses Community Empowerment in The Bahagia Mendawai Library of Kampung Caping Pontianak. The purpose of this research is to find out the role of libraries in empowering the community as well as the obstacles and efforts made to overcome these obstacles. This study uses qualitative descriptive methods with data collection techniques namely observation, interview, and documentation. The number of informants in the study consisted of six sources. The results of this study show that the Bahagia Mendawai Library plays a role for community empowerment that focuses on community empowerment activities to increase reading interest and coaching activities for community welfare. For activities to increase reading interest, the Mendawai library has innovation activities such as literacy trails, reading carts and cyberliteration with the target of children of the village of the sea bansir. While library coaching activities have activities called creative classes with cooking class activities, waste processing, planting activities, making wedding souvenirs and making accessories for women. target community activities around the library. In the implementation of library activities have obstacles such as the difficulty of finding children in the location of activities. From these obstacles, the Mendawai library has an effort to overcome obstacles by collaborating on activities in order to attract visitors.

Abstract

Abstract The present research was conducted in order to describe the data and the information completely about the Jepin Tembung Panjang dance. The purpose of this research is to describe and record the Jepin Tembung Panjang dance in written form, pictures, and video. The method that used in this research is descriptive analysis in form of descriptive qualitative research and use the ethnochoreology approach with choreography discipline. The sources of this research are Muhammad Yusuf Dahyani and Anwar Dja’far that knowing about the form of presenting the Jepin Tembung Panjang in Pontianak city, Kalimantan Barat. The data collection of this research are observation, interview and documentation study. Technique of testing the validity data that used are extension of observations and triangulation technique. Jeping Tembung Panjang dance can be danced en masse with a multiple of four dancers. The instruments to company this are Beruas, Gambus, Akordion dan Biola. The Jeping Tembung Panjang dance will use realist makeup. This dance will be danced by two dancer those are male and female. Keywords: form of presentation, Jepin Tembung Panjang dance.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the uniqueness of the Naga performance which lies in the form of the Naga music’s presentation and function. Therefore, the researcher documents the form of presentation and the function of dragon music by writing and pictures. The method of this research was a descriptive method in the form of qualitative research and ethnomusicological approach. The techniques of data collection were observation, interviews and documentation studies. The technique of data validity testing was by extended the observations and triangulate sources. Based on the data analysis, it was concluded that the form of presentation and the function of the Dragon Music of Panca Bhakti Foundation at the Cap Go Meh Celebration in Pontianak City is traditional music played by a group of people or ensemble, consist of one Loukou player (Drum), two Chem players / Chep-chep (cymbal) and two Tang Lou players (Flat Gong). The Dragon Music on Panca Bhakti Foundation at the Cap Go Meh Celebration in Pontianak City has a function as (1) accompaniment music, (2) to entertain, , (3) a Cultural Continuity, (4) a Symbolic Function, (5) an Education Function, and (6) As a Contribution to Social Integration. Abstract

This study aims to determine the conceptual understanding of students at SMP Negeri 16 Pontianak regarding the material on Systems of Linear Equations in Two Variables (SPLDV) which depends on their mathematical abilities. In this research, nine class IX C students were used as a source of descriptive data. The data collected in this research came from daily tests carried out by students to determine their ability level. The results of the research show that the five indicators of conceptual understanding used indicate that students' conceptual understanding is classified as moderate. These indicators are as follows: (1) students' conceptual understanding of re-explaining SPLDV concepts is in the medium category, (2) students' conceptual understanding of determining examples and non-examples of SPLDV material is in the low category, (3) students' conceptual understanding of grouping objects according to their characteristics are included in the low category, (4) The high category has a conceptual understanding of indicators of use, utilization and selection of procedures in SPLDV material, (5) the medium category has a conceptual understanding of usage indicators and the relationship between models, diagrams and concept representations different in SPLDV material.

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study is to determine the level of anxiety and the level of student physical activity during the pandemic. The problem is that every student in the physical education study program during the pandemic experiences a change in the learning process from face to face to online.This research method is a quantitative research in the form of research using a survey by giving a questionnaire. In the form of a questionnaire has all the preparation of the questions developed, namely google from with a sample of 32 students of physical education study program. The results of the research that can be presented are: Research on the degree of student anxiety during the pandemic has answered yes 325 points with a percentage of 52% and physical activity during pandemic has answered no 302 points with a percentage of 48%. Research on student physical activity has 3 classifications, namely 4 people are in the low category with a percentage of 33 % with a lot of activity 103 meters and a moderate category of 4 students with a percentage of 33% a lot of activity 2503 meters and a high category with a percentage of 44% with a physical activity of 4690 meters, it can be concluded that students have a slight weakness in the degree of anxiety and good physical activity even during the pandemic like this.Keywords: Anxiety, Physical Activity

Abstract

This study was carried out in a setting in West Kalimantan's Kubu Raya Regency. This study's goals were to identify: Implementation of the Kubu Raya "Kepong Bakol" Micro Enterprise Empowerment Activities in Increasing Comparative Advantage in Kubu Raya. This study employs a qualitative methodology and a case study design. With 7 informants, including 1 key informant and 6 main informants, data was collected using interview, observation, and documentation procedures. According to the research, the "Kepong Bakol" Kubu Raya Micro Enterprise Empowerment Activities were carried out during the empowerment stage. The planning, execution, mentoring, assessment, and follow-up phases of micro business empowerment efforts. Data gathering, need analysis, activity preparation, and cross-sector collaboration are all part of planning. The three accesses of access to money, access to human resource development, and access to marketing are used to carry out the implementation process.

Abstract

AbstractThe problem in this study is the cause of the inability of members to pay credit at the Semandang Jaya CU in Semandang Village, Simpang Hulu District, Ketapang Regency. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method in the form of field survey research, as for the conclusions that can be drawn after conducting direct field research so that it can be seen the cause of bad loans from the members, namely members of CU Sendang Jaya not taking advantage of loans that are not in accordance with the original purpose, there are members who borrow credit to open a business but the business that is managed does not run smoothly so there is no income to be able to pay the credit, there are also some members who have bad intentions so they deliberately take loans without returning the loan to CU Semandang Jaya. Meanwhile, from the CU side, CU employees are not careful in analyzing lending to members and there are still loans to members who do not meet the requirements due to family relationships. The largest credit ratio in the last five years in 2015 was 7.1% in 2016 at 5.5% in 2017 as compared to 5.5% in 2018 at 7.4% and in 2019 at 7.2% where this figure meet the maximum limit, namely the ratio of nonperforming loans reaching 5% which indicates the CU is not healthy. The largest credit ratio in 2018 was 7.4%.Keywords: inability to pay credit, bad credit, credit union

Abstract

Through the use of role playing, this study seeks to enhance the vocabulary proficiency of eighth grade students in both noun and verb categories. The setting for this study was MTs Al-Jihad Pontianak. Two cycles of the classroom action research approach were employed by the researcher. In this study, the researcher used role playing as a technique to address the issue of students not being able to master vocabulary, particularly noun and verb. In this study, 30 eighth graders from the academic year 2021"“2022 took part. Results showed that the average noun correct answer in the first cycle was 5.87, and the average verb correct response was 6.07, with a mean student score of 59.33. In the second example, the average noun and verb scores for the right response were 7.68 and 7.73, respectively, and the students' mean score was 77.66. Based on the aforementioned findings, it can be said that the role-playing technique of teaching English vocabulary was successfully implemented. To put it another way, the role-playing technique aids the teacher in boosting the students' vocabulary.

Abstract

AbstractThe study aims to analyze a student's ability to write a description essay. The methodused in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The object of this study is thestudent's essay that is assessed from the titlebook's content, spelling, diction, sentencestructure, interdepartmental sentences, interdepartmental paragraphs, overallcontent, and orderliness. The source of data for the study is the 39th country's B.S.D.'s poll of 31 students. It enhances interviews, documentaries. This study suggests thatthe average descriptive writing ability is that 75 falls in category (good). Thepercentage of students is seen in terms of a very good 2 person or 0.6% category,either 14 person category or 0.45%, enough category 13 person or 0.43%, less 2person or 0.6%. The difficulties students encounter are several aspects of the use andspelling of spelling (use of capital letters, punctuation, writing words that are lessletters, connecting signs), overall content, sentence structure, paragraph alignment(difficult to develop a paragraph or less able to suspend an idea). Thus, it may beconcluded that the ability to write a description on class vb specifies the learning ofonline models is sufficient because there are still some of the students' difficulties inwriting the description.Keywords: writing ability, made-up description, online learnin.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to utilize learningresources during the COVID-19 pandemic at SMAIslamiyah Pontianak. This research uses qualitativeresearch with descriptive type. The source of the datain this research is the teacher of economics at SMAIslamiyah Pontianak. Data collection techniques inthis study were taken through the results ofobservations and interviews conducted byresearchers. The results show that the use of learningresources is in the form of using smartphone or laptopor computer applications, namely WhatsApp, GoogleMeet and Google Classroom. As well as the use ofyoutube videos for the needs of student learningmaterials. As well as the use of the lecture methodwhich is deemed appropriate to the implementation ofonline learning. The obstacle experienced by teachersduring online learning lies in the use of applicationsin the early stages of implementing online learning
