Abstract

ABSTRACTThis study aims to describe the analysis of character education for reading fondness in the culture of Singkawang Public School 46. This research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. The subjects of this study were principals, teachers and participants in SD Negeri 46 Kota Singkawang. The data was collected by observing, interviewing and documenting. Data analysis was carried out in stages: data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusions. Data validity checking techniques using technical triangulation and data source triangulation. The results showed that the analysis of character education for reading fondness in elementary school culture was as follows: (1) the planning was that the teacher had included the character of reading fondness in the lesson plan, the components in the lesson plan were in accordance with the existing guidelines (2) in practice the students had perform activities related to the character who likes reading. (3) in the evaluation of the results of the teacher, assessing the attitudes of students, namely the attitude of characters who like reading. (4) the obstacles faced are that students' reading interest is still lacking or not very enthusiastic, then there are still limited facilities and infrastructure that support reading activities.Keywords: Character Analysis, Love to Read, In Elementary School Culture

Abstract

This research aims to determine the financial planning, implementation, and evaluation of the family finances of teachers at SMAN 1 Batu Ampar, Kubu Raya Regency. The method used in this research is a case study method with a qualitative approach. In this research, the researcher acts as the main research instrument. Researchers also used recording equipment and interview questions. Data analysis activities by means of data reduction, data display, and data conclusion drawing or verification Research results The majority of respondents have not made detailed and systematic financial plans, although some of them said that they have taken care of family needs and routine expenditure items. Respondent families also do not pay much attention to long-term investments, except for two respondents who own houses and land. The majority of respondents have managed their finances by having planned financial obligation installments and saving regularly. Regarding the financial evaluation aspect, it can be concluded that not all teachers record the financial activities carried out. not using a technological recording system and not following the economic view in recording family finances

Abstract

AbstractThis research aimed to determine the feasibility of a mathematics learning design based on a problem-based learning model with a mathematic habits of mind strategy on fraction material in junior high school. The feasibility of the learning design was seen from the aspect of validity, practicality, and responsibly from students and teachers. The research used was the Research and Development (R&D) method. The development model used in this study reffered to as the Plomp development model which consists of four stages, including preliminary investigation, design, realization/construction, and test, evaluation and revision. The learning design developed included RPP and LKS. There are five validators involved in validating the learning design. The results of the first validation indicate that the learning design must be revised. After being revised the results were confirmed back to the validator. After being declared valid and practical, then a limited field trial. From the test results, the teacher's response was 84.33% and the student's response was 72.94%. So, the mathematics learning design based on a problem-based learning model with mathematic habits of mind strategy on the fraction material in junior high school was feasible with valid, practical and good response from students and teacher criteria for use.Keywords: Learning Design, Fraction, Problem Based Learning, Mathematic Habits Of Mind

Abstract

Abstract This research aimed to improve students' abilities of problem-solving and mathematical disposition by developing a lesson plan which was based on a scientific approach. The researcher analyzed the lesson plan developing process, the validity of the lesson plan's development result, its practicality/simplicity, the effectivity, and students' ability of problem-solving and mathematical disposition improvement which was the outcome of the lesson plan experiment. This research is a developmental study that refers to 4D models to science-three program XI grade students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak as the subjects of the research. The instruments which were used to collect the data in this research consist of the validation sheet, the field note of students' activities, the observation checklists of the procedure in the teaching and learning process, the test, and the questionnaires. The result of this research are: (1) the lesson plan used in this research was considered very valid; (2) the lesson plan was categorized as "practical/simple"; (3) the developed mathematics lesson plan was effective; (4) the result of students' test scores before and after the treatment was highly improved; and (5) the scores of students' ability of problem-solving in mathematics before and after the treatments were averagely improved. Abstract

This study aims to determine the work commitment of teachers in SMA Negeri 1 Seluas. This form of research uses qualitative methods. The research subjects were 5 people. Methods of collecting data with interviews, documentation, and observation. Data analysis uses data reduction, data display and verifications. The technique of checking the validity of the data is by testing credibility, transferability, dependability and confirmability. The results of the study can be concluded: 1) the form of teacher commitment, namely: teacher involvement in activities, constructive teacher responses, teacher cooperation, concern for school development, teacher compliance, teacher loyalty, and being a teacher is a choice throughout a career, 2) strategies to grow teacher work commitment through: committing to the main human values, clarifying and communicating the organization's mission, ensuring organizational justice, creating a sense of community, and supporting teacher development, and 3) the implications of teacher work commitment, including: the impact of teacher commitment, information about obstacles that faced, information about the efforts made, and teachers run the curriculum with full responsibility. The conclusion of this research is that the teacher's work commitment has been carried out well. The implications of this research can be used as input in increasing teacher work commitment.

Abstract

AbstractThe title of this study is "Preventive Social Control Analysis by Parents in Children Using Social Media in Sarilaba A Village, South Jawai, Sambas District ". The problem in this research is, how to prevent social control by parents in children who use social media in Sarilaba A Village, namely by providing guidance, direction and appeal to children who use social media. This study aims to determine preventive social control by parents in children who use social media in Sarilaba A Village. The method used is a qualitative method with descriptive analysis. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that parents have carried out preventive social control to their children by providing guidance, parents have advised and self-understanding to children about the limitations of using social media so that children do not imitate negative examples of social media. Then briefing, parents have given guidance to children regarding the use of time so that the child's free time is used on positive things such as studying, doing schoolwork and helping with homework. As well as appeal, parents have asked and instructed subtly, without any compulsion and the child's awareness to follow the appeal of his parents.Keyword: Social Control, Preventive, Social Media.

Abstract

This research was conducted by analyzing the news to describe the framing of demonstration and court of Bayan sales case news from kalbar.antaranews.com and suarapemredkalbar.com. The research approach method is a descriptive method with a qualitative research form. The data sources of this research are the websites Antaranews Kalbar and Suara Pemred Kalbar. The research method is document analysis. There were 15 news articles analyzed. This research found that Antaranews Kalbar frames their news by two perspectives from Jum sides and law enforcer. Meanwhile, Suara Pemred Kalbar frames their news humanistically by Jum sides and they show the effort of Jum sides with Sambas Government to give him legal assistance.

Abstract

Abstrack This study aims to find out how the strategy for bad credit problems and the form of strategy for implementing bad loans in sharia financing savings and loan cooperatives, Pontianak City Independent Partners for the 2015-2019 financial year. The research method used in this research is qualitative research with descriptive method. The sources of data in this study were the chairman of the cooperative, and several administrative staff at the sharia financing savings and loan cooperative, the independent partner of Pontianak City. Data collection techniques in this study are through observation, documentation and interviews. The results of the study show that there are several factors for the occurrence of bad loans in the Islamic savings and loan cooperatives, the independent partners of the city of Pontianak. These factors are internal and external factors. However, the cooperative has several strategies that are implemented to minimize and reduce the number of bad loans in sharia financing savings and loan cooperatives as community partners in the city of Pontianak. With the implementation of these strategies, it is expected to reduce the number of bad loans experienced by the community partner Islamic savings and loan cooperatives. Abstract

This research was motivated by the interest in Dayak Salako culture, especially about traditional household appliances which are currently rarely used by the community. The issues studied are regarding the form, meaning, and implementation of Indonesian learning about the lexicon of traditional household appliances in the Salako Dayak language. The method used is a descriptive method with a form of qualitative research. The data collection techniques used are observation, interview, listen, record and record, and documentation techniques. This research produced 46 lexicons of traditional household appliances in Dayak Salako language consisting of 9 household utensils made of wood, 29 made of iron, 2 made of clay / ceramics, and 1 made of thorny pandan leaves. The lexicon form of traditional household appliances in Dayak Salako language is monomorphemic totaling 34 lexicons, polymorphemic 2 lexicons, and phrases 10 lexicons. The meanings in the lexicon of traditional household appliances were analyzed based on the lexical meaning of 37 lexicons, the grammatical meaning of 9 lexicons, and the cultural meaning of 4 lexicons. The supplementary form of Indonesian learning text is in the form of a description text on the lexicon of traditional household appliances in the Salako Dayak language.
