Abstract

  Abstract This study aimed to analyze the influence of concept mapping strategy towards the learning result students in social science study on the V B grade of SD Negeri 17 Pontianak Kota. This study used an experimental method with Pre-Experimental design form using One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The population in this research were 68 students. The samples in this research was V B as a research class. Based on the t-test, the calculation result obtained t test (7,29) > t table (1,699) with significance level α = 5% means a significant influence using concept mapping strategy. The value of effect size (ES) is 0.39 with moderate category. It means that concept mapping strategy give a moderate effect to the learning result students in social science study on the V B grade of SD Negeri 17 Pontianak Kota. Abstract

  Abstract: The aim of this research is to explore an extracurricular activity for English subject in  a school which is called with English Club. Besides, the writer also wanted to know the contribution of the English club on the students' English learning. Therefore, the writer used a descriptive method in this research. After conducting the research, the writer found a lot of information about the English club. In the English club, it is not a compulsory for the students to join the English club. In other word, the students are free whether they want to join the English club or not. Then, in the English club, the students do any activities that can promote their English learning. And, the average scores of the students who join the English club is higher than the students who do not join the English club.   Keywords: English Club, Trainer, Students Abstrak: Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mencari tau sebuah kegiatan ekstrakurrikuler untuk mata pelajaran bahasa inggris di sekolah yang di sebut dengan English club. Selain itu, penulis juga ingin mengetahui kontribusi dari English club tersebut pada pembelajaran bahasa Inggris siswa. Oleh karna itu, penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif di dalam penelitian ini. Setelah menyelenggarakan penelitian nya. penulis menemukan banyak informasi tentang English club. Di dalam English club, bukan merupakan kewajiban bagi siswa untuk bergabung dengan nya. Dengan kata lain, para siswa bebas untuk bergabung atau tidak. Kemudian, di dalam English club, para siswa melakukan berbagai kegiatan yang bisa mempromosikan pembelajaran bahasa Inggris mereka. Dan, nilai rata-rata siswa yang bergabung dengan English club lebih tinggi daripada siswa yang tidak bergabung di dalam English club tersebut. Kata Kunci: English Club, Pelatih, Siswa

Abstract

Abstrak: Judul skripsi ini adalah ?Kemampuan Guru Sosiologi dalam Melaksanakan Kompetensi Pedagogik di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak?. Masalah umum penelitian ini adalah Bagaimana Kemampuan Guru Sosiologi dalam Melaksanakan Kompetensi Pedagogik di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak ?. Sub masalahnya yang pertama bagaimana kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan kurikulum di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak ?, kedua bagaimana kemampuan guru dalam menciptakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang mendidik di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak ?. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisis kemampuan guru dalam mengembangkan kurikulum di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak dan kemampuan guru dalam menciptakan kegiatan pembelajaran yang mendidik di SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik, observasi, wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Analisis dalam penelitian ini disajikan secara deskriptif kualitatif dengan menggunakan informan sebanyak 2 orang yang terdiri dari kepala sekolah dan 1 orang guru mata pelajaran sosiologi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam melaksanakan kompetensi pedagogik sudah cukup baik dari kedua indikator yang diteliti yaitu pengembangan kurikulum seperti menyusun silabus dan merancang pelaksanaan pembelajaran dengan baik sesuai dengan kurikulum sekolah dan kegiatan pembelajaran yang mendidik seperti melaksanakan aktivitas pembelajaran sesuai dengan rancangan yang disusun secara lengkap dan sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran.   Kata kunci: Kemampuan Guru, Proses Pembelajaran, Kompetensi Pedagogik   Abstract: The title of this Tesis is ?The Ability Of Sosiology?s Teacher In Doing Pedagogic Competence At Sma Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak?. General problem of this research in is ?How is the ability of Sosiologys?s Teacher in doing pedagogic competence at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak?? The first specific problem of this research is how the ability of sosiology?s teacher in developing the curriculumat SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak is, while the second is how the ability of sosiologys? teacher in designing learnig activities at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak is. The objectives of this research are to analyse the ability of Sosiology?s teacher in developing curriculum and to analyse the ability of Sosiology?s teacher in designing Learning activies at SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The approach that used in this research is qualitative approach with decriptive method.  The technic of data collecting chosen are observation, interview, and documentation technic. Data Analyse in this research is presented by qualitative descriptive approach way using two informans that are Th head master and the sosiology?s teacher of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Pontianak. The result of this research show that the ability of sosiology?s teacher in term of pedagogic competence is good enough, shown by both indicator that have been analyzed, they are develoving curriculum; syllabus design and learning activities design, and educative learning activities; doing teaching learning process based on learning plan and learning objectives   Keywords: Teacher?s ability, Learning process, Pedagogyc competence.

Abstract

 AbstractThis research is motivated by the purpose to describe the postition of Malay language in story of Buru Tetralogy by Pramoedya Ananta Toer. Focus of this research to describe the Malay language used, function of Malay language in the meaning of the totality of the text, and make a lesson plan in accordance with the research. This research uses descriptive method and the research form is qualitative. Data analysis steps used are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, data checking, data interpretation, and making conclusions. The results show that Malay language in story of Buru Tetralogy is included modern Malay and revolutionary Malay Language. Malay language by characters is not only limited to the language of daily communication, but also able to be a tool of struggle against Dutch colonialism, including through writing in Medan Priyayi newspaper. Malay Language in story of Buru Tetralogy also serves to give local color, culture, and become a tool of social control in society.  AbstractTeachers' Role in Language Development of spoken language 5- 6 Years Old School Early Childhood Education Belimbing districts that teachers have not maximized the involvement of children so that teachers implement learning by methods such as writing, submission of materials, question and answer, basically just pressing on the concept of textual achievement alone but not the growth or development of learning activities, and make children become lazy and bored in following the lessons, especially during the development of oral language of children. Based on the results of data analysis shows that the role of teachers as a motivator in the development of spoken languageof children aged 5-6 years in early childhood education Belimbing District is good with the amount of 70.97%. the role of teachers as a mediator in the development of spoken languageof children aged 5-6 years in early childhood education Belimbing District is good with the amount of 65.52%. The role of teachers as facilitators in the development of spoken language children aged 5-6 years in early childhood education Belimbing District is good with number 48.39%. The role of teachers as evaluators in the development of spoken languagechildren aged 5-6 years in early childhood education District Belimbing i is good. with a total of 87.1%. Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of research is to develop learning media with android structured problem posing to improve students’ learning motivation in content of algebra operation in Junior High School. The methodology that use is a research and development. The first phase in this research is self-evaluation, in the next phase is one-to-one pilot which run in parallel with experts review. Then pilot field the last in the small group phase. Qualitative data analisys is used in the beginning phase (one-to-one and experts review), while quantitave data analisys is used in the pilot field (small group). The research results in the form of a set the learning media structured problem posing which is very valid and very feasible to be used based on the result of expert review to improve student's learning motivation. Abstract

AbstractThe problem of this research is "Whether the application of Know-Won to Know-Learned method can improve students' reading comprehension skills in VA West Pontianak primary school class. This study aims to describe the improvement of reading comprehension skills of students by using the method of Know-Want to Know-Learned through the story in the VA class of Elementary School Negeri 21 Pontianak Barat. The research method used is descriptive method, while the form of research used is a classroom action research with the nature of collaborative research. Subjects in the study were as many as 33 students in the VA class. Data collecting technique used in this research is direct observation technique and documentation. Data collection tool used in the form of observation sheet. The results showed that students' reading comprehension skill in cycle I was seen from 33 students with an average score of 46.48, with the completeness of 9,10% (3 people) while the unfinished 90,90% (30 people). While the second cycle has an increase of 33 students with an average value of 67.93, with the completeness of 66.67% (22 people) while the unfinished 33.33% (11 people). Then on the third cycle again increased visible from 33 students with an average value of 74.69 with a mastery of 81.81% (27 people) while the unfinished 18.19% (6 people). It can be concluded that using Know-Want to Know-Learned method can improve reading comprehension skill of students in class VA SD Negeri 21 Pontianak Barat. Keywords: Improvement, Reading Understanding, Know-Want to Know-Learned Method

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan pendekatan konflik kognitif berbantuan PhET Simulation dalam meremediasi miskonsepsi siswa kelas X SMA Kemala Bhayangkari pada materi rangkaian listrik. Bentuk penelitian berupa pre-experimental design dengan rancangan one group pretest-posttest design. Penelitian ini melibatkan 20 siswa. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan miskonsepsi siswa pada tes awal sebesar 71% dan miskonsepsi siswa pada tes akhir sebesar 19%. Sehingga, terjadi penurunan miskonsepsi siswa sebesar 52%. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan menggunakan uji McNemar diperoleh 2hitung (7,41)   2tabel (3,84). Dinyatakan terjadi perubahan konsepsi yang signifikan setelah remediasi dengan menerapkan pendekatan konflik kognitif berbantuan PhET Simulation pada materi rangkaian listrik. Efektivitas remediasi diperoleh berdasarkan nilai Cohen’ standard effect size sebesar 1,476 dalam kategori tinggi. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat digunakan sebagai alternatif dalam pembelajaran ataupun kegiatan remediasi untuk mengatasi miskonsepsi yang dialami oleh siswa. Abstract: This research aims to find out the effects of using PhET simulation-assisted cognitive conflict approach in the tenth grade of SMA Kemala Bhayangkari in the lesson on electric circuit. This research was in the form of pre-experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design. The research involved 20 students. The result showed that the students’ misconception in the pretest was 71% and 19% in the posttest. Thus, there was a decline of 52% in student misconception. The calculation using the McNemar test resulted in 2count (7.41) > 2table (3.84). So, there was a significant change of conception after remediation using PhET simulation-assisted cognitive conflict approach in the electric circuit lesson. The effectiveness of remediation was obtained based on the value of Cohen's standard effect size of 1.476 in the high category. This research is expected to be used as an alternative in the instruction or remediation activities to address misconceptions among students. Abstract

AbstrakThis study aims to determine the Utilization of Learning Media in Developing Social Interaction in Early Childhood at Autism Extraordinary School in East Pontianak. The research method used in this study is a qualitative method with a case study approach. Data sources consist of 1 class teacher and 4 early children who experience autism disorder and data an observation sheet regarding the development of children's interactions and the results of interviews with classroom teachers and principals. The results of this study indicate that the type of learning media used at Autism Extraordinary School in East Pontianak are visual media and audiovisual media. The use of learning media is visual media in the form of picture cards and posters, while audiovisual media is in the form of films, videos and sound slides. The development of social interaction in children when using learning media is that children want to make eye contact, want to turn around when called and want to play with their friends. The advice given is that the type of learning media in enhancing social interaction in early childhood at Autism Extraordinary School in East Pontianak needs to be added, it is expected that the teacher can be more creative in using the media during the learning process, and it would be good at Kindergarten for Special Needs to also use lesson plan so that the learning process can well planned and implemented.Keywords: Learning Media, Social Interaction, Autistic Early Childhood.

Abstract

AbstractThe purpose of this research was to know the effect of discovery model on the process skills in thematic learning student fourth grade Elementary School in Pontianak. The experimental reseach method was used in this research. The form of the experimental research used was one group pretest postest design. Sample in this research weer students fourth grade which consisted of 28. Instrument gatherer data of student learning the test results obtained using measurement technique. The result of data analysis showed that mean score of student’s post-test based on t-test analysis on observation skilss, thitung of  (7,35) and ttabel (1,703) then Ha accepted. On t-test analysis on hypothesis skills, thitung of  (3,21), t-test analysis on instruction skilss (5,79), t-test analysis on communication skilss (1,96),)The result of effect size was 0,98 which mean hhig criteria on ES>0,7. So, it can be concluded there was a significant effect of using discovery model on the process skills of thematic learning student fourth grade Elementary School Keywords: Effect, Discovery Model, Process Skills
