Abstract

AbstractThis research have a purpose to review the suitability of authentic assessment implement by physic teachers with authentic assessment based on demand of curriculum 2013 suitable with the Permendikbud No. 66 Tahun 2013 that is attitude, knowledge, and skill assessment use the relevant instrument. The research’s method that used in this research is descriptive method. Sample in this research is SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak and SMA Negeri 8 Pontianak, choose with use the purposive sampling method. The instrument of data collector is student and teacher questionnaire, interview list for headmaster and teacher and also documentation that be related to authentic assessment. In the amount of 69,2 % of indicator in the plan of authentic assessment and 72,2 % of indicator in implementation of authentic assessment that implemented by physis teachers grade X Senior High School at Pontianak it has been happen well and suitable with demand of curriculum 2013 there are in Permendikbud No. 66 Tahun 2013. This research expected can used as reference in the implementing of authentic assessment in order to suitable with demand of curriculum 2013 based on Permendikbud No. 66 Tahun 2013.  Keywords: Authentic Assessment, Curriculum 2013 and Physic Learning

Abstract

Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektifitas remediasi menggunakan  model pembelajaran terbalik (reciprocal teaching) dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa pada materi gerak melingkar beraturan kelas X MIPA di SMA Negeri 7 Pontianak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah bentuk Pre-Experimental Design dengan rancangan One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 29 orang siswa yang dipilih menggunakan teknik intact group. Terdapat penurunan kesulitan belajar dilihat dari hasil pretest dan posstest. Persentase rata-rata pada penurunan kesulitan belajar siswa tiap konsep sebesar 21,32% dan persentase rata-rata penurunan kesulitan belajar tiap siswa sebesar 27,16%. Remediasi melalui model pembelajaran terbalik (reciprocal teaching) untuk mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa dengan kriteria effect size tergolong tinggi yaitu sebesar 0,82. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa remediasi menggunakan model pembelajaran terbalik (reciprocal teaching) efektif dalam mengatasi kesulitan belajar siswa. Kata Kunci: Remediasi, Kesulitan Belajar, Reciprocal Teaching Abstract: The purpose of this research is to know the efectiveness of the influence of remediation through giving reciprocal teaching in overcoming students’ difficulties at Uniform Circular Motion of Mathematics and Science in Class X at SMAN 7 Pontianak. The research method is Pre-Experimental Design with One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The research samples are 29 students were selected using the technique intact group. Impairment of learning difficulties seen from the pretest and posttest. The average percentage decrease in students' learning difficulties each concept by 21.32% and the average percentage reduction for each student learning difficulties amounted to 27.16%. Remediation through giving reciprocal teaching in overcoming students’ difficulties with the criteria of effect size of 0.82 is considered high. Based on the results of this study concluded that remediation using a model of reciprocal teaching effective in overcoming students’ difficulties.   Keywords: Remediation, Learning Difficulties, Reciprocal Teaching

Abstract

AbstractThis research is motivated problem class X High School Graduation Pontianak in writing argumentative paragraphs. The problem in this research is how the process and learning outcomes writing paragraph argumentative strategy here everyone is a teacher in class X High School Graduation Pontianak. The benefit of this study is to provide a foundation for other researchers to conduct research in the implementation of learning to write argumentative with using a different approach and language skills in general. Methods and forms used in this research is descriptive qualitative. The data source of this research is the Indonesian subject teachers and students of class X as many as 31 students. The data in this study is a learning process and results argumentative writing paragraphs. Data collection techniques are in the form of test and non test. Data collection tools in this study is in the form of tests, observation guidelines, and cameras. Data analysis techniques for analysis is the observation of the learning takes place. The results obtained from this study is the average value of student learning before using a strategy everyone is a teacher here is 50.00. Results of paragraph argumentative writing students in the first cycle was 69.22, but has not reached the expected KKM. Then proceed to the second cycle of the average value of students increased to 76,90.prosesnya using student worksheets and observation sheet attitudes. Keywords: Paragraph Argumentative, writing skill everyone is a teacher here

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini difokus pada (1) gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, (2) kinerja guru, (3) upaya kepala sekolah, (4) Hambatan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru SD Negeri 06 Emang Bemban. Sedangkan tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk mendapatkan gambaran tentang gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, kinerja guru, upaya kepala sekolah dan hambatan kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Subyek penelitian: Kepala sekolah dan 5 orang. Teknik yang dipergunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah survey dengan menggunakan wawancara, observasi dan studi dokumentasi sebagai alat pengumpul data primer. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa kepala sekolah dominan menerapkan gaya kepemimpinan transformasional, gaya ini mampu meningkatkan kinerja guru, upaya yang dilakukan oleh kepala sekolah dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru dengan rapat koordinasi, memberi arahan dan bimbingan dalam melaksanakan tugasnya. Sementara hamabatan yang dihadapi, minimnya fasilitas sarana dan prasarana sekolah yang belum memadai. Kata Kunci: Kepemimpinan transformasional, Kepala Sekolah, Kinerja Guru   Abstract. This research focused on (1) an overview of leadership style of the principal, (2) the performance of teachers, (3) the principal's efforts, and (4) Barriers in improving the performance of SDN teachers 06 Emang Bemban. This study aimed to get an overview of the style of leadership, the performance of teachers, the efforts, and the barriers of principal in improving the performance of teachers.  This research is a descriptive qualitative approach. The subjects of the study: The principal and 5 teachers. The technique used in this study is a survey using interviews, observation and documentation as a means of collecting primary data. The results showed that the principal dominan apply transformational style, this style is able to improve the performance of teachers, the efforts made ​​by the principal in improving teacher performance with the coordination, gave a direction and guidance in the development of his duties. Abstract

 Abstract then aim of this  research as the  habitual to describe tolerance,leson plan  and abstacales in develoving the habitual tolerance to 5-6 years old studens of TK Bruder Kanisius Siantan Tengah. The reseach used descriptive reseach  methodology which in from qualitative approach,the sample of this reseach was group B2 studets.The resultsef were gathered from lesson of  PERMENDIKNAS Tahun 2009 whereas adapted with national curriculum,habitual method ,studt tour and media were the menthod that were used to develop the students tolerance.The behavior of students of group B2 in habitual tolerance were showed from the ability ef the students to respect  the diversty at school and  the children  were alse  taught to share and cooperate and respect their friends,parents and teacherKeyword : thematic learning,tolerance

Abstract

Abstrak: Masalah penelitian ini adalah emosi positif dan negatif tokoh utama dalam novel Supernova Episode Petir karya Dewi Lestari dan implementasi dalam pembeljaran di sekolah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan submasalah tersebut. Penelitian ini juga menggunakan teori psikologi behavioristik B.F. Skinner yang menyatakan bahwa tingkah laku manusia merupakan respon yang disebabkan oleh stimulus lingkungannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif, bentuk kualitatif, dan pendekatan psikologi behavioristik. Melalui pendekatan ini, peneliti dapat mengetahui pikiran dan perilaku tokoh utama pada novel Supernova Episode Petir karya Dewi Lestari. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini adalah novel Supernova Episode Petir karya Dewi Lestari, sedangkan datanya adalah kata, frase, dan kalimat yang menunjukkan pikiran dan perilaku tokoh utama yang dikutip dari novel Supernova Episode Petir karya Dewi Lestari. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi dokumenter sebagai pengumpul data dan alat pengumpul datanya peneliti sendiri sebagai instrumen utama. Kata kunci : emosi, tokoh, novel. Abstract: The problem of this research is of positive and negative emotions of the main character in the Novel Supernova Episode Petir by Dewi Lestari and in the learning implementation at the school. The purpose of this research was to describe the sub-problem. The research also used the theory of Behaviorist Psychology B.F. Skinner who argued that human behavior is a response to a stimulus that is caused by the environment. This research uses descriptive method, a qualitative form, and the behaviorist psychology approach. Through this approach, researchers can identify the thoughts and behavior of the main characters in the Novel Supernova Episode Petir by Dewi Lestari. The source of the data in this research is Novel Supernova Episode Petir by Dewi Lestari, while data are words, phrases, and sentences that show the thought and behavior of the main characters are quoted from the Novel Supernova Episode Petir by Dewi Lestari. This research uses the documentary studies as collecting of data and its instrument of the researcher is herself as the main instrument. Keywords: emotions, the character, the novel.

Abstract

AbstrackThere are many forms of words to express the same meaning is the interesting thing studied by researchers especially in the study deiksis. The problem in this research is how deiksis persona, place deiksis, and deiksis time in Sambas Malay language. The purpose of this study is to describe the deixis persona, place deixis and deiksis time in Malay sambas. Data analysis techniques by the author as follows: film transcription, translation into the Indonesian language, classify data, and analyze data (analyze data by listening video film Kembang Polaria 1 and two, recorded transcription of Malay Sambas dialogue, translate from Sambas Malay to Indonesian, classifies deixis persona, place deixis, and time deixis, discusses the results of analysis with the first supervisor and second supervisor, summarizes the results of data analysis). Based on data analysis, the research concludes as follows: Deiksis persona in Kembang Polaria film can be divided into three based on the role of people involved in the conversation. There are eighteen deiksis persona in the film Flower Polaria four deiksis first persona single, two deiksis first person plural (inclusive and exclusive), three deiksis second person singular, two in plural, six deiksis persona third person. In the plural there is one. There are eighteen deiksis place in the film Kembang Polaria, proximal deiksis nine, semi-proximal nine, and distal 4. There are sixteen deiksis time in film Kembang Polaria can be divided into three based on talker's time that is dextical proximal time two, semi proximal in five, and distal time ten.  Keywords: deiksis, persona, place, time, Sambas Malay

Abstract

AbstractThe aim of this research is to improve students’ speaking ability, especially in fluency and accuracy. This research was conducted at the eight grade students of SMPN 3 Pontianak in academic year 2017/2018. In this research, the subject is class VIIIF that consists of 38 students. The researcher conducted a classroom action research. The data were collected by observation and measurement technique. The tools of data collecting were observation checklist, field note, and scoring rubric for assessing speaking (performance test). Guessing game was used as the technique in this research which was conducted in two cycles. The research findings showed that the mean score of students’ speaking test improved from 1.68 for accuracy and 1.84 for fluency in the first cycle to 2.13 for accuracy and 2.26 for fluency in the second cycle. The improvements of this study were particularly in students’ speaking aspect, especially accuracy and fluency. Keywords: Speaking, accuracy and fluency, guessing game.

Abstract

AbstractMotivation plays an important role to the success of the students’ learning. Each individual who has motivation will drive directly to achieve his goal to facilitate himself. Motivation needed to reach a successful of English learning achievement. This research has porposes to find out how high the students’ motivation and students’ English learning achievement, how strong the correlation between students’ motivation and English learning achievement and investigate the most dominant factor influencing students’ low English learning achievement. The population of this research was the eleventh grade students of MAS Hidayatul Muslimin 2 Sungai Raya. They were 20 students as the samples from 34 were students. The method of this research was conducted correlational study. The data collected from the questionnaire and documentary. From the reserach finding, the data analysis showed that the students’ motivation was clarified moderate qualification with mean score 50.2% and the students’ English achievement was categorized poor with mean score 38.6. The correlation between students’ motivation and English learning achievement is categorized low with r = 0.34 and the contribution of motivation on English learning achievement was 34%. It was low impact to contribute the students’ English learning achievement, it might be caused by other factor. Last, the most dominant factor influencing students’ low English learning achievement was clarified students’ attitude. Students have negative attitude toward English subject. Most of them did not pay good attention while the learning teaching process in the classroom and the school also was lack of media and facilities to support them in learning English. Keyword: Correlational Study, Students’ Motivation, English Learning Achievement

Abstract

AbstractThis research uses descriptive method that aims to describe the improvement of learning skills of Indonesian language in applying the demonstration method of students thirth years elementary school 21 Monterado Bengkayang Regency. The procedure in this research has 4 stages namely, planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. It is continuously done repeatedly until the research objectives are achieved, in this study has three cycles with each cycle conducted two meeting. This research technique uses observation technique and research instrument using observation sheet which is used to assess teacher ability that is based on instrumen I, instrumen II and student poetry reading skills. Based on the results of research conducted obtained instrumen I cycle I with an average of 2.93, cycle II with mean of 2.93 and cycle III with average 2.93. instrumen II obtained the results of cycle I with a mean of 2.21, cycle II with a mean of 3.18 and cycle III 3.63. While students' reading skilsl resulted in cycle I with average 25.31, cycle II with mean of 55.45 and cycle III 70.51. Based on these results, the demonstration method can provide improved poetry readi skills of students. Keywords: Reading Skills, Poetry, Demonstration Method
