Abstract

This evaluation study aims to evaluate the extracurricular program of reading the Qur'an at MIN Bone through a qualitative approach where the data is sourced from the results of interviews, documentation, and observations, which are then analyzed by reducing, presenting, and verifying the data, then drawing it into a final conclusion. The results show that the context aspect is stated to have met the needs of MIN 1 Bone students and received adequate resource support, so this program is said to have run well. Various criteria set in the input aspect have also been met, such as the availability of facilities and infrastructure, the competence of program supervisors, and the number of students participating in the program to be considered running well. However, the process aspect is considered quite good because there are still obstacles, especially student discipline. Meanwhile, several main objectives of the program cannot be realized optimally in the product aspect where the total number of students who have successfully memorized the Qur'an is still low compared to the number of program participants so this aspect is considered less good. Therefore, improvements are needed to implement the program to achieve the desired goals.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the correlation and influence between the Hypnoteaching method and the interest in reading story texts in MIN 1 Bogor students. The study is experimental research using the True experimental design model and a posttest-only control design approach. The analysis was carried out based on questionnaire data that was disseminated and interpreted through descriptive analysis and inferential analysis to describe the influence of the two research variables. The data obtained is processed through; 1) descriptive analysis to describe one of the variables with a percentage value. 2) Inferential statistical analysis is used to see correlations using the Product Moment formula. 3) Then, a differential test was carried out using t-test statistics to determine the effect. The results of this study showed that the results of the paired simple test using SPSS version 27 showed that the significance value was 0.001 < 0.05 which means that there was an average questionnaire about the interest in reading story texts using the Hypnoteaching intervention method. It can be concluded that there is an effect of the use of Hypnoteaching intervention methods on the interest in reading story texts in MIN 1 Bogor Regency students.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of using the Canva application as a learning medium in science subjects at elementary schools through a literature review method. The data used are secondary data obtained from various journals, scientific articles, and conference proceedings. The analysis of six scientific works indicates that the use of Canva has a positive impact on increasing students' learning motivation, academic performance, and creativity. Canva's features, which allow the creation of interactive learning media such as videos and visualizations of abstract concepts, facilitate educators in delivering material. Additionally, Canva helps enhance students' science literacy by presenting engaging content aligned with 21st-century technological advancements. The platform is also considered practical and user-friendly for teachers, requiring no special design skills. However, some limitations were identified in its application, such as the frequent combination of Canva with other learning media and suboptimal implementation in online learning. In conclusion, Canva is an innovative, effective, and relevant learning tool to improve the quality of science education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of implementing the Jigsaw learning model in improving mathematics learning outcomes among fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kuanyar. The study involved 21 students as subjects, employing a quantitative approach with a one-group pre-test and post-test design. Data collection was conducted using learning outcome tests in each learning cycle. The results indicate that the use of the Jigsaw model significantly positively impacts students' learning outcomes. Data analysis using this method shows a mean value of -29.523, with a standard deviation of 9.47428 and a standard error mean of 2.06746. Furthermore, the obtained t-value is -14.280, with a two-tailed significance of 0.000. Since the significance value is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05), this indicates a significant effect of the learning model on students' learning outcomes. The Jigsaw learning model plays a crucial role in enhancing students' attention and interest during the learning process. This model encourages students to be more confident, responsible, and actively engaged in problem-solving within their groups, making it effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kuanyar.

Abstract

Education plays an important role in shaping individuals to be critical, creative, and independent. However, the learning process in elementary schools is still dominated by conventional lecture methods that do not actively involve students, which affects their low critical thinking skills. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in improving the critical thinking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 2 Kuanyar, Jepara. The method used is a quantitative approach with a one-group pretest-posttest design, involving 19 students as the research sample. The research instruments were tested for validity and reliability using SPSS version 25. The analysis results show a significant increase between the pretest and posttest scores (t-count = 7.833 > t-table = 2.110; sig. = 0.000 < 0.05), which proves that the PBL model is effective in enhancing students' critical thinking skills. The implementation of PBL also encourages active participation, group discussions, as well as the ability to solve problems independently and collaboratively. Therefore, the PBL model is a feasible alternative learning strategy to improve the quality of education, particularly in developing critical thinking skills at the elementary school level.
