Abstract

This study aims to analyze and compare the accuracy, consistency, and decision-making efficiency between humans and machine learning (ML) algorithms in tabular data classification tasks. The dataset comprises 50 classification cases containing both numerical and categorical features with binary decision labels. Two groups were compared: 10 human participants, and six ML algorithms—Logistic Regression, Support Vector Machine, Random Forest, Decision Tree, k-Nearest Neighbors, and Naive Bayes. ML models were trained on 80% of the data and tested on the remaining 20%, while human participants manually classified all 50 test cases. The results showed that the average human accuracy was 76.2%, while ML algorithms achieved between 78.9% and 91.8%, with Random Forest yielding the highest performance. Human decision-making took an average of 18 seconds per case, significantly slower than the algorithmic predictions completed within milliseconds. Additionally, high variability in human responses indicated lower consistency compared to deterministic outputs from ML models. These findings support the integration of ML algorithms as a decision support or replacement tool in data-driven domains, with the potential to reduce human error in high-stakes environments. Nevertheless, human involvement remains essential in contexts requiring ethical consideration and interpretability.

Abstract

The availability of adequate blood supplies continues to pose a significant challenge for blood transfusion services such as the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI), particularly due to the fluctuating and uneven nature of demand across various blood groups. Incorrectly estimating blood demand can result in either critical shortages that jeopardize patient safety or an excess of supplies that are wasted due to the limited shelf life of blood. The objective of this research is to examine historical blood demand data in Grobogan Regency by applying the K-Means clustering algorithm to identify trends related to time intervals and blood group classifications. The study draws on secondary data involving blood requests across multiple blood groups over a span of several years. By implementing the K-Means method, the research identifies unique trends in demand, highlighting critical periods between 2013–2016 and 2022–2024, during which nearly all blood types showed elevated levels of demand. These insights are crucial for improving blood stock management, refining donor mobilization strategies, and enhancing distribution planning based on empirical patterns. The K-Means algorithm proves effective in handling extensive and continuous numerical data, offering valuable guidance for strategic decision-making in healthcare logistics.

Abstract

AbstractShopee Express (SPX) is an internal logistics service of the Shopee platform designed to improve the speed and quality of goods delivery. Although its presence provides added value, various complaints from users indicate that there are still shortcomings in its implementation. This research aims to evaluate customer satisfaction with SPX services using the ITIL version 3 framework, specifically in the Service Operation domain. The research approach used is descriptive quantitative by distributing questionnaires online to SPX users. The research focused on three main processes in Service Operation, namely incident management, request fulfillment, and access management. The research instrument was tested for validity and reliability using SPSS software. The test results showed that all statement items were valid and reliable. Furthermore, the data was analyzed to determine the level of service maturity. The findings show that all three subdomains are at maturity level 3 (Defined), which means that processes are documented and implemented regularly. Nonetheless, further evaluation and systematic improvement are still needed to achieve more optimal service quality.Keywords: Customer Satisfaction, Shopee Express, ITIL v3, Service Operation, Maturity Level

Abstract

The development of digital technology has encouraged the emergence of various mobile application-based services to facilitate daily activities. The Service In application is present as a digital start-up solution that provides online technician booking services via mobile devices. The development method used in this study is the Design Thinking Method which consists of the stages of Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype and Test. The GSTALT principle consisting of; Proximity, Similarity, Common-region, Focal point, Continuity, Closure and Figure/ground is used in designing the user interface of the "Service In" mobile application. In this study, the UI design testing process uses the Usability Heuristic indicator to be able to observe user activity. The testing results obtained a value of 79% which indicates that the Service.in start-up falls into the user friendly criteria.Keywords: Start Up, Design Thinking, GSTALT, Service In, Usability Heuristic

Abstract

Hipertiroidisme merupakan kondisi dengan produksi hormon tiroid berlebihan oleh kelenjar tiroid, sehingga meningkatkan metabolisme tubuh. Diagnosis penyakit tersebut cukup menantang karena memiliki gejala yang beragam. Keragaman tersebut dapat diatasi melalui teknologi informasi data mining dengan memanfaatkan prediksi penyakit berdasarkan data yang tersedia. Berdasarkan pada hal tersebut maka tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menggelompokkan pasien penderita hipertiroidisme berdasarkan algoritma Decision Tree. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer sejumlah 100 pasien dengan 12 atribut gejala. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa model klasifikasi yang terbentuk memiliki tingkat akurasi tinggi. Nilai presisinya sebesar 84,81% untuk perempuan dan 85,71% untuk laki-laki. Nilai recall sebesar 95,71% untuk perempuan dan 60% untuk laki-laki. Berdasarkan pada hasil tersebut maka alogritma Decision Tree cukup efektif untuk digunakan pada proses klasifikasi pasien hipertirodisme berdasarkan gejala yang diamati.

Abstract

This study aims to classify rainfall intensity in the Samarinda area into three categories: light rain, moderate rain, and heavy rain based on three meteorological variables: temperature (in °C), air pressure (in hPa), and rainfall (in mm) to provide a more adaptive and accurate classification of rainfall intensity based on local weather conditions in Samarinda, which is prone to disasters due to high rainfall intensity. The data used in this study was obtained from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) Samarinda for the period of October to December 2024. This study implements the Mamdani Fuzzy Logic method, which consists of the stages of fuzzification, rule base application, inference, and defuzzification. Fuzzy logic was chosen due to its ability to handle data that is ambiguous and uncertain, which is common in weather phenomena. Testing results on 50 random weather condition data samples indicate that the developed Mamdani fuzzy model achieved an accuracy of 100% on the test data, demonstrating consistency between the resulting rainfall intensity classification and actual data. Based on these findings, this model can be utilized as a support tool for decision-making, both by individuals and local government agencies, in efforts to monitor and mitigate extreme weather conditions in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.Keywords : Fuzzy Logic, Mamdani Method, Rainfall Intensity, Classification

Abstract

The development of Internet of Things (IoT) technology has brought significant transformations in various fields, including security systems in securing valuable assets, such as safes, which require a high level of security. The purpose of this study is to design and implement a safe security system based on RFID and IoT, simulate the system using Cisco Packet Tracer to ensure its functionality and evaluate the effectiveness of the system in securing access to the safe. The system development model used is the ADDIE method which consists of five stages of development, namely; (1) Analysis, (2) Design, (3) Development, (4) Implementation and (5) Evaluation. Problem analysis uses analysis and Feasibility Analysis uses TELOS analysis. The results of the System reliability analysis on this system are Verification Accuracy is 100% accurate in distinguishing valid and invalid tags based on data, while Response Speed is the response time between RFID reading and the door opening an average of <1 second. The system continues to run well as long as the server is active and the device is connected to the network. This research is expected to provide an alternative solution for an affordable and virtually simulated safe security system, as a reference or initial prototype for the development of a larger scale IoT security system and to demonstrate the potential use of Cisco Packet Tracer in RFID and IoT-based security system simulations.

Meningkatnya kebutuhan pelayanan laboratorium yang lebih mudah diakses dan terjadwal di universitas mendorong dibutuhkannya solusi inovasi. Tulisan ini mengajukan konsep laboratorium sebagai layanan terpadu yang menyatukan pelayanan dan pengelolaan laboratorium yang ada melalui satu sistem digital. Dengan memanfaatkan sumber daya teknologi untuk meningkatkan akses, penjadwalan, dan pengurusan administrasi. Pendekatan ini dapat meningkatkan efisiensi, efektivitas, dan kualitas layanan dari laboratorium di univesitas. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan betapa besarnya kemungkinan dan peluang yang terbuka kepada laboratorium universitas untuk meningkatkan pengelolaan, pelayanan. dan sistem kinerja yang ada.

Abstract

This study investigates the effectiveness of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Deep Learning (DL) tools in enhancing academic journal writing skills among students in the Arabic Language Education program at UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang. Utilizing a mixed-methods approach within a quasi-experimental design, the research involved 90 final-year students divided into experimental and control groups. The intervention group employed AI-based tools such as ChatGPT, Grammarly, and Quilbolt throughout the writing process, while the control group relied on conventional methods. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test assessments, reflective journals, and structured questionnaires. Quantitative results showed a statistically significant improvement in writing performance among students who used AI tools, with large effect sizes (Cohen’s d > 1.0). Qualitative findings revealed that students engaged critically with AI outputs, valued teacher feedback, and developed ethical awareness regarding authorship and originality. The integration of AI tools also increased student confidence, enhanced writing fluency, and promoted autonomous learning. However, limitations in semantic precision and rhetorical fit especially in theology-specific content necessitated human revision. These findings affirm the role of AI as a cognitive scaffold in academic writing and highlight the need for culturally responsive, ethically guided AI integration in language teacher education.Keywords: Artificial Intelligence, Academic Writing, Deep Learning, Arabic Education, Cognitive Scaffold

Abstract

Literasi informasi merupakan kemampuan seseorang dalam mengolah dan memahami informasi saat melakukan proses membaca dan menulis. Bagi masyarakat di negara maju, literasi merupakan kebutuhan yang penting bagi setiap insan sebagai bagian dari warga dunia seiring dengan kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang sangat pesat. Indonsia merupakan negara besar dengan populasi pengguna internet tahun 2024 mencapai 221.563.479 jiwa dari total populasi 278.696.200 jiwa penduduk Indonesia tahun 2023. Dari hasil survei penetrasi internet Indonesia 2024 yang dirilis APJII, maka tingkat penetrasi internet Indonesia menyentuh angka 79,5%. Namun Indonesia juga mempunyai masalah serius rendahnya literasi digital. Merujuk data UNESCO, saat ini Indonesia menempati urutan kedua terbawah dalam hal literasi di dunia, yang artinya minat membaca sangat rendah. Minat baca di Indonesia sangat memprihatinkan, yaitu hanya 0,001%. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peran literasi informasi dalam pengembangan keterampilan digital mahasiswa.  Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif dengan bentuk mengumpulkan dan mengolah data yang sudah ada seperti artikel atau data statistik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa literasi informasi mempunyai peran yang sangat penting terhadap pengembangan ketrampilan digital pada mahasiswa. Hal ini selaras dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menyatakan bahwa literasi informasi harus dipahami lebih dari sekedar menerapkan prosedur rutin yang berkaitan dengan keterampilan informasi. Individu yang melek informasi mampu mengenali dan memahami kebutuhan informasi mereka, memiliki pengetahuan tentang lingkungan informasi dan menggunakan informasi untuk menyelesaikan atau memenuhi kebutuhan informasi mereka.Kata Kunci: Literasi informasi, Keterampilan digital, Mahasiswa.
