Abstract

Islamic Boarding School is a religious institution that cannot be separated from the community. This institution grows and develops for the community by positioning itself as part of the community. Along with the times, the demands of society towards the world of islamic boarding school have indeed been developing rapidly, especially in terms of education. At this time the islamic boarding school is started to be in great demand by most parents and the public who want more things than the existence of a boarding school. As for the needs and demands of the community towards Islamic Boarding School, santri must possess intellectual, spiritual intelligence and religious skills. This Research used qualitative methods with a descriptive quantitative approach. The determination of data sources is based on the theory of snow ball sampling. Data collecting techniques used documentation, observation and interviews. Data analysis techniques used data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. To test the validity of the data used the triangulation method. The results of research show that Public perception of islamic boarding school in education is good. This can be seen through the significant increase of the students number, the development of curriculum that is oriented towards the development of intellectual and spiritual intelligence. The demands and needs of the public towards Islamic boarding schools are students having skills in religious fields such as: recitations, da'i, imam yasin, and khotib. In addition to the guidance, the public also demanded that students be able to speak foreign languages and to operate computers for the future. The effort undertaken by the Islamic boarding school is to compile a curriculum for madrasa dinniyah by incorporating a number of disciplines, conducting muhadorh, barzanji, yasin and tahlil activities to hone the ability of students in the religious field. Abstract

A person who has a disciplined attitude will reflect through obedient. obedient and orderly behavior with a feeling of responsibility for what has become the rules he has received. In reality, discipline seems hard for some people to do, it covers all aspects of discipline. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis faktor-faktor yang melatarbelakangi minimnya karakter disiplin siswa di SMP Islam Cendikia Darussalam dan menganalisis bentuk kerjasama sekolah dan orang tua di SMP Islam Cendikia Darussalam The method used in this research is a qualitative approach, the methods that are usually used are interviews, observation, and document. Qualitative descriptive in this study is used to develop a theory that is built through data obtained in the field. The factors that influence students, thats is parenting styles in daily life, social relationships, and self-understanding. The forms of cooperation that exist are cooperation and socialize school rules, form school and parent / guardian cooperation organizations, school committees, home visits, receive visits from parents of guardians, collaborate in groups, and carry out counseling guidance at schools. Efforts are made through collaboration, namely carrying out deliberations with guardian parents, learning the character of discipline from an early age which is carried out jointly between teachers and schools, internalizing disciplinary values ??in subjects, building a conducive school environment in various ways including those equipped with school infrastructure, holding positive activities that build character values ??of students, control, rewards and punishments, and modeling. Abstract

Muhammad Arsyad al-Banjari adalah tokoh fenomenal di masyarakat Banjar sehingga segala jasa-jasanya selalu dikenang masyarakat ini. Jasa besar al-Banjari adalah menyebarkan Islam dengan intensif pada masyarakat Banjar. Demi usahanya ini akhirnya dia melakukan berbagai aktivitas, salah satunya adalah menulis berbagai pemikiran yang dimiliki. Dalam bidang akidah ia pertama kali menuliskan pemikirannya dan memberi judul bukunya Tuhfah ar-Ar-Ragibin Berdasarkan hal di atas, penulis merasa tertarik untuk mengkaji kitab ini terutama dengan memfokuskan masalah pada; Pertama, kecenderungan metodologi kitab Tuhfah ar-Ar-Ragibin Kedua, upaya menganalisa relevansi pemikiran Arsyad Al-banjari dengan pendidikan agama islam.Dengan ini diharapkan dapat mengembangkan dan menghindarkan “tenggelamnya” salah satu khazanah intelektual Indonesia yang ada di tanah Banjar, sekaligus memunculkan kesadaran perlunya melakukan aktualisasi terhadap pemikiran kalam Al-Banjari dengan kondisi kekinian pendidikan agama islam. Untuk menjawab persoalan di atas, penulis akan menggunakan teori dialektika historis dan pendekatan filosofis dengan metode hermeneutik. Adapun unsur-unsur hermeneutik yang digunakan adalah teknik deskripsi yang akan digunakan untuk menguraikan kitab Tuhfah ar-Ar-Ragibin dan untuk membahasakan seluruh hasil penelitian. Kesinambungan historis digunakan untuk mengungkap kondisi internal dan eksternal pada riwayat hidup al-Banjari dan kesejarahan kitab Tuhfah ar-Râghibîn. Dengan analisis metodologi akan diungkap kecenderungan metodologi yang ada pada kitab Tuhfah ar-Ar-Ragibin.Teknik komparatif juga akan membantu penulis untuk memperjelas masalah dan mengurangi kemungkinan subyektivitas penulis. Hasil penelitian penulis terhadap kitab Tuhfah ar-Ar-Ragibin menunjukkan bahwa kitab tersebut bercorak kalam tradisional yang berepistemologi bayâni. Hal ini diidentifikasi pada adanya dua kecenderungan dominan dalam kitab tersebut yakni kecenderungan mengekspresikan keimanan murni (metodologi imani) dan kecenderungan pembelaan (metodologi pembelaan). Relevansi dalam nilai-nilai PAI dalam pandangan Arsyad ada yang relevan dan juga tidak relevan dengan materi PAI yang terus diperkaya untuk menjawab persoalan yang mutakhir.Nilai-nilai pendidikan agama islam dalam pemikiran Syekh Muhammad Arsyad al-Banjari ini memberi kontribusi pendidikan dizamannya dalam mengenalkan dan mengajarkan nilai-nilai pendidikan agama islam. Kata Kunci : Arsyad Al-Banjari, Kitab Tuhfah, Hakikat Iman.

Abstract

The purpose of this research was to know the students’ speaking ability by implementing Talking Football Game at second semester English Department students of STKIP Dharma Bakti Lubuk Alung. This research was experimental research called One-Shot Case Study which used one class as the sample. The population of this research was second semester English Department students of STKIP Dharma Bakti Lubuk Alung registering in 2014-2015 Academic Year. The data of this research were collected by using oral test. The data were analyzed by t-test formula. From the calculation of the result of the test, it was indicated that tcalculate was 3, 22 and ttable 2, 02 with a = 0,05. So, it means that tcalculate was greater than ttable and the hypothesis was accepted. The result of this research showed that Talking Football Game increase students’ speaking ability. It implied that Talking Football Game could be used as a technique of teaching speaking ability at second semester English Department students of STKIP Dharma Bakti Lubuk Alung year of 2014-2015. Abstract

The article analyzed the values of education character that contained in the book Ta'limul Muta'allim by Al-Zarnuji, especially (1) reveal and identify the exposure of character education in the book Ta'limul Muta'allim, (2) describe the relevance of the values of character education in the book Ta'limul Muta'allim with character education in Indonesia. This type of research was qualitative research. This research uses the method of literature study, library research (library research). The primary data source is the Ta'limul Muta'allim book. Data collection techniques are carried out and processed with documentation in the form of writing, pictures, or monumental works from someone. The results of this study indicate that: (1) the values of character education in the book of Ta'limul Muta'allim include: active in learning, honest, intelligent, increasing knowledge, avoiding mutual hostility, choosing friends, humility, deliberation, loving nature, patient and persevering. (2) The relevance of the value of character education in the book Ta'limul Muta'allim with the value of character education in Indonesia contains the cultivation of values which include religious character, honesty, tolerance, discipline, hard work, creative, independent, democratic, curiosity, spirit of nationalism, love for the homeland, respect for achievements, friendly/communicative, love peace, love to read, care for the environment, care about social, and responsibility Keywords: Education Character, Education Character Program, Analysis T'alimul Muta'alim

Abstract

This article aimed to describe Principal’s leadership and to describe about the leadership style. Because the leadership style of a principal can determine the success of all activities in the school including the learning process in the classroom. This leadership style would be reflected in how teachers carry out their basic duties as educators. With the qualitative method, the collective data used documentation and observation. The result showed Employee R1, leader S1. The leadership style in this scenario was top-down as R1 that associated with low skill as well as commitment. By directing and telling as clearly as possible what to do, leaders can control the outcome. Subordinates were also easier to complete the task. Employee R2, leader S2. Subordinates show a willingness to do tasks, but did not have enough skills. Thus, the leader was more in the role of supervisor or coach. Leaders can help subordinates gain experience and confidence. Employee R3, leader S3. In this scenario, subordinates already have skills and skills that were qualified but relatively low commitment. Therefore, the role of leaders was not to tell them what to do. Leaders were there to motivate and support to boost their confidence. Leaders also play a role in providing help and feedback on employee performance, but only when it's really needed. Employee S4, leader S4. Subordinates already have high skills supported with a high commitment to completing tasks. Abstract

Ponorogo Regency has its own arts and culture which are the characteristics and identity of this Reog City. Batik Ponorogo has a variety of motifs that are unique and different from other regions. This article aimed analyzing the motivation of the owner of the company to establish Lesoeng Butik and Batik Ponorogo business and how to increase motivation to maintain the business of Lesoeng Butik and Batik Ponorogo. The researcher used qualitative method and using documentation, observation in collecting the data. The result show that othe company wants to introduce the Ponorogo batik motif which has its own uniqueness and characteristics compared to other regions in the national and international arena. Abstract

Pancasila was the basic ideology of the Indonesian nation. The values ??contained in Pancasila underlie all aspects of the social life of the Indonesian people. But now the reality, trans-national Islamic ideologies appear among some Indonesian. Citizens of radical groups strongly oppose the formulation of Pancasila as the state ideology. Among these groups was Hizbut Tahrir Indonesia (HTI). HTI rejects (3rd precept) Indonesian unity as the constitutional principle of the Indonesian nation. Democracy was seen as inconsistent with Islamic principles. Even Pancasila was called a kufr ideology that must be rejected because it is contrary to the Qur'an. The purpose of this study is to determine the relevance of the values ??of the Qur'an with the meanings contained in Pancasila and how to instill the values ??of the Qur'an and Pancasila in learning mathematics. Pancasila as the ideology of the Indonesian nation does not conflict with the Qur'an. The values ??of the Qur'an were contained in the elaboration of each precept. What was taught in Pancasila actually taught in the Qur'an. The values ??of the Qur'an in Pancasila can actually be applied in learning mathematics. Abstract

Implementing teaching plays an important role for the success of teaching proces. Good teaching implementation was strongly influenced by good planning as well. In addition, the implementation of teaching can be successful if supported by the existence and enthusiasm of teachers and students. Intensive study conducted by the Directorate of Education (1996-1997) to identify students' learning and understanding in accordance with the curriculum. The aim of this article was to determine the extent to which the application of the Problem Solving learning method was applied in improving the Learning Outcomes of the National Awakening Spirit of National Awakening Material in 1908. The researcher used classroom action research method. This action research was conducted in 3 cycles. The result showed that it be able to improve the Learning Outcomes of the National Awakening Spirit of the Year 1908 by achieving ideal standards. From 64.31% in cycle 1, it can increase in cycle 2 to 74.92% and cycle 3 to 82.15%, and classically it has reached completeness. The results of this action research indicated that the application of the Problem Solving learning method can improve the Learning Outcomes of the 1908 National Awakening Spirit of Class VIII A PPKn with completeness reaching 100%, thus the application of the Problem Solving learning method was effective in improving learning outcomes in PPKn subjects at MTs Aswaja Tengaran. Abstract

This research aimed to identify and to describe about the students’ problem when they speak English. Because the advanced level Student of University couldn’t speak English well when they perform their Proposal Seminar and also final examination at Institut Agama Islam Negeri Metro Lampung. The data were taken by interview with 20 students, and questionnaire. The participants were students of English study program. The result showed that most students from advanced level student couldn’t speak English well when they presented seminar proposal and final examination or munaqosyah. Because they were too worry about making mistakes on their performance and because they don’t have enough vocabulary and grammar mstery so it would give impact to their pronunciation and confidence.
