Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance at Hotel Grand Stabat Langkat. The research method used is associative with a quantitative approach. The sample consists of 32 hotel employees selected using total sampling. Data were collected through questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results showed that work motivation has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, as indicated by a t-value of 2.240 and a significance level of 0.033. Job satisfaction also has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, with a t-value of 1.745 and a significance level of 0.041. Simultaneously, both variables have a significant influence on performance with an F-value of 3.525 and a significance level of 0.043. The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.196 indicates that 19.6% of the variation in employee performance is explained by motivation and job satisfaction, while the remaining 80.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study. These findings suggest that effective management of motivation and job satisfaction is essential to enhance employee performance in the hospitality industry.

Abstract

This study aims to find the influence of organizational culture, leadership style, and workload on the performance of ASN employees at the North Sumatra Transportation Agency. The population in this study were all ASN employees at the North Sumatra Transportation Agency totaling 146 respondents. The number of samples taken was 59 people. The determination of the number of samples used in this study was determined using the Slovin formula because the population was more than 100. This study was conducted from 2025. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire to produce primary-quantitative data which was then processed with SPSS version 25 with the multiple linear regression method. The results of the study showed that organizational culture, leadership style, and workload simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on ASN performance. Partially, these three variables also have a positive contribution to improving employee performance. A strong and adaptive organizational culture, a communicative and participatory leadership style, and a proportional division of workload have proven to be important factors in driving optimal ASN performance. The results of the determination coefficient test of 91.8% of ASN employee performance can be explained and obtained from the variables of organizational culture, leadership style and workload, while the remaining 8.2% is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This study ains to analyze how much influence work ability, work compensation, and work supervision have on employee performance at PT. Pembangunan Prasarana Sumatera Utara. Quantitative methods based on an associative approach were used in this investigation. All 55 workers of PT. Pembangunan Prasarana Sumatera Utara made up the population in this research. Multiple linear regression was utilized for data analysis, and saturation sampling was employed to choose the sample. It is evident from the estimated t value < t table (1.519 < 2.006) and a significant level of 0.135 > 0.05 that work ability does not impact performance, according to the findings of this research. According to the study's indicate that work compensation effects performance, this can be seen from the calculated t value> t table (5.321 < 2.006) and a significance level of 0.000 < 0.05, job remuneration does not effect performance. As the computed t value > t table (3.182 < 2.006) and a significant level of 0.002 < 0.05 show, the study's findings suggest that job supervision influences performance. Based on the estimated f value (54.637 > 2.78), a significant level of 0.000 < 0.05, and the fact that work ability, work compensation, and work supervision all impact employee performance at the same time, it is clear that these factors influence performance in this research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of cognitive image and affective image on visitor satisfaction at Pos Bloc Medan, a creative tourism destination that combines art spaces with historical colonial buildings. The research employed a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), analyzed with SmartPLS version 4. The sample consisted of 100 visitors selected through purposive sampling. The results showed that cognitive image had a positive and significant effect on visitor satisfaction (path coefficient = 0.481; t-statistic = 5.981), while affective image also had a positive and significant but smaller effect (path coefficient = 0.230; t-statistic = 3.012). The limitations of this study include the relatively small sample size and the scope being limited to one destination. This study contributes to the literature on destination image and tourist experience management, particularly in the context of cultural and creative tourism destinations in Indonesia. The findings offer practical implications for destination managers to emphasize the importance of improving physical attributes and creating deep emotional experiences to sustainably enhance visitor satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse the effect of diversity and inclusion on employee performance at PT XYZ, with organisational culture as an intervening variable. The background of this study is based on the importance of diversity management and the creation of an inclusive work environment in improving individual and organisational performance. This study employs a quantitative approach using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) to test the relationships between variables. The research was conducted in several stages, starting from literature and theory exploration, data collection from the research subjects, data validity testing using reliability and validity tests, data processing, and hypothesis testing. The data was analysed using the SmartPLS 4.0 application, with a sample size of 322 respondents. The results of the study indicate that diversity influences employee performance, but inclusion does not influence employee performance. Meanwhile, organisational culture has been proven to significantly moderate the relationship between diversity and inclusion on performance. These findings emphasise the importance of companies building a supportive and conducive work culture, so that the values of diversity and inclusion can be fully integrated into every work process. With a positive organisational culture, diversity and inclusion are not merely symbols or formal policies but genuinely drive collaboration, innovation, and productivity, thereby contributing to sustained improvements in employee performance.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of employee training and development on work productivity at CV. Sasana Citra Mandiri. The methods used in this study include validity, reliability, multicollinearity, simultaneous test (F), partial test (t), multiple linear regression, and determination coefficient test (R²). The results of the study indicate that training and development simultaneously have a very strong and significant effect on work productivity, with a contribution of 97.9%, while the remaining 2.1% is influenced by other variables such as compensation and incentives and time and workload management. Partially, training has a greater effect than development on increasing productivity. With a correlation coefficient value of 0.99 and an adjusted R Square of 0.978, it can be concluded that employee training and development have a crucial role in driving work productivity in this company.

Abstract

The objective of this study is to determine how location and service quality, both partially and simultaneously, influence consumer purchasing decisions for electrical equipment at Toko Listrik Paci Palembang. In this research, a sample of 250 respondents was selected to illustrate how consumers make purchasing decisions. Data were obtained from 250 individuals who completed the survey. The results show that the location variable (X1) has a significant effect on purchasing decisions (Y), with a significance value of 0.020 (less than 0.050), indicating that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. The service quality variable (X2) also has a significant influence, with a significance value of 0.000 (≤ 0.050), suggesting that service quality plays a crucial role in influencing consumer purchasing decisions. Location also shows a significant effect with a constant value of -0.105, indicating that service quality significantly contributes to consumer decision-making, supported by the significance value of 0.020. Being located in a market environment with numerous competing stores may reduce consumer purchasing decisions due to the abundance of alternatives. Customers' decisions to purchase electrical tools at Toko Listrik Paci Palembang are partially and simultaneously influenced by store location and the level of service provided. However, further research should consider additional elements that may affect customer choices.
