Abstract

The study investigates the impact of the Teacher Excellence Competition event on the motivation of teachers at MI Manbaul Ulum Tlogorejo Karangawen Demak in 2024. This mixed-method research combines both quantitative and qualitative approaches to provide a comprehensive understanding of how such competitions influence teacher motivation, job satisfaction, and professional commitment. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 20 teachers and in-depth interviews with selected participants. The analysis reveals that the competition significantly boosts teacher motivation, both intrinsically and extrinsically, by recognizing and rewarding their efforts. Teachers reported higher job satisfaction and a stronger commitment to their profession after participating in the competition. The research identifies several supporting factors, including strong support from school management and the collaborative environment among teachers. However, challenges such as time constraints and the pressure of high expectations were also noted. The study highlights the importance of transparent and fair competition processes and suggests that schools regularly conduct such events to foster a motivating and innovative teaching environment. The findings align with existing motivational theories and previous studies, underscoring the positive effects of recognition and professional development opportunities on teacher performance. AbstrakPenelitian ini mengkaji dampak event Kompetisi Guru Berprestasi terhadap motivasi guru di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Manbaul Ulum Tlogorejo Karangawen Demak pada tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode campuran yang menggabungkan pendekatan kuantitatif dan kualitatif untuk memberikan pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai bagaimana kompetisi tersebut mempengaruhi motivasi guru, kepuasan kerja, dan komitmen profesional. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner yang dibagikan kepada 20 guru dan wawancara mendalam dengan partisipan terpilih. Analisis menunjukkan bahwa kompetisi ini secara signifikan meningkatkan motivasi guru, baik intrinsik maupun ekstrinsik, dengan memberikan penghargaan dan pengakuan atas usaha mereka. Guru melaporkan kepuasan kerja yang lebih tinggi dan komitmen yang lebih kuat terhadap profesi mereka setelah mengikuti kompetisi. Penelitian ini mengidentifikasi beberapa faktor pendukung, termasuk dukungan kuat dari manajemen sekolah dan lingkungan kolaboratif di antara para guru. Namun, tantangan seperti keterbatasan waktu dan tekanan ekspektasi tinggi juga dicatat. Studi ini menyoroti pentingnya proses kompetisi yang transparan dan adil serta menyarankan agar sekolah secara rutin mengadakan acara serupa untuk menciptakan lingkungan pengajaran yang memotivasi dan inovatif. Temuan ini sesuai dengan teori motivasi yang ada dan studi sebelumnya, yang menekankan efek positif dari pengakuan dan kesempatan pengembangan profesional terhadap kinerja guru.  الملخصتدرس هذه البحث تأثير فعالية مسابقة المعلمين المتميزين على دافع المعلمين في المدرسة الابتدائية الإسلامية "منبع العلوم" في تلوجوريجو كارانجاوين دمك لعام 2024. يستخدم هذا البحث منهجًا مختلطًا يجمع بين الأساليب الكمية والنوعية لتقديم فهم شامل لكيفية تأثير هذه المسابقات على دافع المعلمين، ورضاهم الوظيفي، والتزامهم المهني. تم جمع البيانات من خلال استبيانات وزعت على 20 معلمًا ومقابلات معمقة مع مشاركين مختارين. يكشف التحليل أن المسابقة تعزز بشكل كبير دافع المعلمين، سواءً داخليًا أو خارجيًا، من خلال الاعتراف بجهودهم ومكافأتهم عليها. أفاد المعلمون بزيادة في رضاهم الوظيفي والتزام أقوى بمهنة التعليم بعد المشاركة في المسابقة. حدد الدراسة عدة عوامل داعمة، منها الدعم القوي من إدارة المدرسة والبيئة التعاونية بين المعلمين. ومع ذلك، لوحظت تحديات مثل قيود الوقت وضغط التوقعات العالية. تبرز الدراسة أهمية عمليات المسابقة الشفافة والعادلة وتقترح على المدارس إجراء مثل هذه الفعاليات بانتظام لتعزيز بيئة تعليمية محفزة ومبتكرة. تتوافق النتائج مع نظريات الدافع الحالية والدراسات السابقة، مما يؤكد الآثار الإيجابية للاعتراف بجهود المعلمين وفرص التطوير المهني على أدائهم

Abstract

Idealism asserts that the mind, soul, or spirit is superior to material objects. In education, idealism plays a key role in shaping standards that develop students' intellectual, moral, and spiritual aspects. This philosophy forms the foundation for character development and knowledge acquisition based on essential values. This study analyzes the role of idealist philosophy in education and its implementation in learning systems. Using a library research method, relevant sources such as books, journals, and online materials were examined. The collected data was classified and analyzed descriptively to understand how idealism contributes to education. Findings indicate that idealist philosophy enhances education by emphasizing character formation, understanding universal concepts, and achieving absolute truth through reflection. It promotes not only cognitive growth but also moral and spiritual development. In practice, idealism is reflected in dialogical learning, ethical reinforcement, and deeper philosophical integration. It significantly impacts education by building a system that values intellect and morality. Applying idealist principles fosters a more holistic and meaningful learning experience. This study affirms that idealism-based education remains relevant in addressing modern educational challenges, shaping individuals with broad perspectives rooted in truth and virtue.

Abstract

Time management has important benefits in the review of Islamic education, because it is important to set a priority scale so that all activities are truly allocated according to the time needed. In addition, minimizing all forms of possible obstacles that will arise in the implementation of Islamic education is also an effective strategy in managing time. In essence, the arrangement of time in such a way in learning in Islamic education according to existing programs and activities can facilitate efforts to achieve goals optimally. This study uses library research. Library research is a literature study conducted using relevant and available reading sources, which are related to the topics discussed in the study. The results of this study are Time Management, so it can be concluded that time management is the ability to use time effectively and efficiently to obtain maximum benefits. The principles of time management in Islamic Education are; (1) prioritizing important tasks; (2) making plans and schedules properly; (3) managing time wisely; and (4) building positive habits. The urgency or importance of time management at Madrasah Ibtida`iyah Nagari Lakitan Tengah, West Sumatra is; (1) time management helps achieve goals; (2) time management helps students and teachers be more organized; and (3) good time management helps to make the heart calmer and better. In conclusion, the importance of time management at Madrasah Ibtida'iyah Nagari Lakitan Tengah, West Sumatra, with good time management a good learning atmosphere will be created, good learning conditions will create high teaching motivation which will ultimately reflect a teacher who is able to carry out learning professionally.

Abstract

This research aims to identify and develop data on lecturers who have published data and home indexing on the Google Scholar Index and intellectual records at the Director General of Information and Communication Technology; utilizing the google scholar home index citation database and online intellectual property center; Indexing of lecturers' works in the Google Scholar home and obtaining Intellectual Property Rights. This research method is research and development according to Brog & Gall (1989) in Lyesmaya (2015:15) in the implementation of research and development there are several methods used, namely descriptive, evaluative, and experimental methods. The research results are; 1) Implementation of the home scholar Index in the PGMI study program reaches 75%, 2) Intellectual property rights for online lecturers and patents to protect their work, 3) and publication of research results in international journals, and 4) Intellectual Property Rights. The results of this study recognize the achievement of goals in university milestones to support World Class University in the 4.0 era, the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education Study Program (PGMI) personally by lecturers is able to encourage the realization of World Class University in the publishing aspect in the world wide system, the Google Scholar Index of 93.3%, then author Sinta ID by 66.7% and finally the utilization of broadcasting Intellectual Property Rights by 86.7%.

Abstract

This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach. To comprehensively examine the new lifestyle among alpha generation students which is the impact of influencers on social media. The results of this research show that influencers on social media have had positive and negative impacts on the morale of MI Almabruroh Tangerang students. Efforts to minimize the negative impact of influencers on social media on student morale at MI Almabruroh Tangerang can be done in five ways, namely limiting students' time using social media, controlling and filtering influencer content on social media, providing education on the good and bad impacts of social media, increasing activities. extracurricular activities and providing counseling guidance at school. The positive impact of influencers on social media on student morale is that it can foster a sense of social awareness, increase a sense of empathy, and train students' independence. The negative impact is the degradation of language, the loss of feelings of shame and the erosion of students' respect.

Abstract

Reading skills are a competency that students must have. Reading is a skill that can be a supporting factor in other language skills such as speaking and writing. Through the habit of reading, of course, it increases students' knowledge. With increasing knowledge, of course, students' communication skills can also develop well, because the habit of reading makes students have a high curiosity. The purpose of this study is to review the impact of literacy on communication skills. This study uses the literature review method. 10 articles were obtained that were in accordance with the objectives of the literature review. This literature review was synthesized using the narrative method by grouping similar extracted data according to the results measured to answer the objectives. The results of the literature review of 10 relevant articles show that this literacy has a great influence on students' communication skills. Literacy is an important foundation in education and everyday life.

Abstract

This work aims to discover Robert Maynard Hutchins' thoughts on character education in elementary schools from a perpetual perspective. Teachers can use this research to teach character education by utilizing the idea of perennials, which is very important for developing children's character. This research uses a literature study methodology combined with qualitative descriptive techniques. The perennial school of thought considers how humans must evolve with the times. The perennial philosophy approach to character education emphasizes how humans behave according to the good values inherent in themselves. Because elementary school education is a foundation for higher education, character education is most appropriate if started at that level. The concept of perennialism in character education emerged as a response to the contemporary cultural crisis. The philosophy of perennial prioritises efforts to return to the past, especially rebuilding ideals and ideas that were once a strong way of looking at the world. Through character education, these values and ideals of life can be restored to ensure that future generations maintain their identity as an Indonesian nation. One of the options that must be used in elementary school character education is the core of the perennial philosophy.

Abstract

Progressivism emphasizes experience-based learning and individual development, including for Children with Special Needs (CSN). CSN face physical, mental-intellectual, social, and emotional challenges that affect their development compared to other children. The Indonesian government has ensured inclusive education to help CSN reach their full potential. This study aims to analyze the relationship between progressivism and inclusive education for CSN. The research employs a literature review method by examining books, scientific journals, and related articles. Data is analyzed through reduction, presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing to understand the implementation of progressivism in inclusive education. Findings indicate that the role of teachers, curriculum, classroom management, assessment methods, and accessibility are key factors in supporting progressivism-based inclusive education. Applying these principles creates a more adaptive and student-centered learning environment. In conclusion, integrating progressivism into inclusive education has the potential to strengthen Indonesia’s education system towards greater inclusivity. Optimal implementation will support the achievement of national education goals that ensure equity for all students.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to create a learning environment that supports students in developing their potential, whether spiritually, intellectually, or in skills, for the benefit of individuals, society, the nation, and the state. In modern learning, students play an active role as learning partners, while teachers act as facilitators and mediators. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) aims to guide students to understand, internalize, and practice Islamic teachings based on the Quran and Hadith for happiness in this world and the hereafter. However, PAI is often perceived as boring by students due to monotonous teaching methods such as lectures and assignments, which make students passive and less interested. This issue was identified during observations at SDN 005 Batu Aji, where students were afraid to ask questions, reluctant to solve problems in front of the class, and felt that the teacher's dominance was too strong. The proposed solution is the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model, which actively involves students in group discussions to solve problems, express opinions, and act as peer tutors. PBL is expected to improve student activity and learning outcomes, transforming their performance from below average to good or excellent

Abstract

This study aims to improve student learning achievement in Islamic Religious Education, specifically the moral lesson "Ayo Berperilaku Terpuji" (Let's Behave Nobly), through the implementation of the TPACK (Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge) teaching model using interactive animated videos. The research was conducted with 2B grade students at SD Negeri 016 Tanjungpinang Timur during the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR), consisting of two cycles, each comprising four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data collection techniques were based on a quantitative approach, utilizing the results of summative tests administered after the lesson. The data analysis results show a significant improvement in student learning achievement. The percentage of students who reached the Minimum Completion Criteria (KKM) increased from 60% in the pre-cycle to 70% in cycle I, and reached 97% in cycle II Thus, the application of the TPACK teaching model with interactive animated videos was proven to be effective in improving student learning achievement, raising students' performance from  below average to good and very good.
