Abstract

Literasi merupakan kemampuan dasar yang esensial dalam proses pendidikan dan perkembangan individu. Di era informasi saat ini, keterampilan literasi, khususnya keterampilan menulis, memiliki peran penting dalam membentuk kemampuan berpikir kritis dan kreativitas peserta didik. Menulis bukan hanya sekadar kegiatan menyusun kata menjadi kalimat, melainkan sebuah proses yang melibatkan pemikiran, pemahaman, analisis, dan ekspresi ide yang terstruktur. Oleh karena itu, pengembangan keterampilan menulis menjadi fokus utama dalam pendidikan. Gerakan Literasi Sekolah (GLS) adalah salah satu inisiatif yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan budaya literasi di kalangan peserta didik. Program ini dirancang untuk menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang mendukung peningkatan kemampuan literasi melalui berbagai kegiatan membaca dan menulis. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SD Negeri 2 Pamijen, kecamatan Baturraden, Kabupaten Banyumas dengan subjek penelitian 22 peserta didik kelas IV. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara kritis bagaimana keterampilan menulis melalui Gerakan Literasi Sekolah. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode penelitian kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah dengan wawancara kepada kepala sekolah, guru dan siswa serta observasi dan kuesioner. Kegiatan literasi sekolah terbukti mampu meningkatkan kemampuan menulis peserta didik.

Abstract

Stimulasi yang tepat sangat menentukan keberhasilan siswa dalam pembelajaran menulis. Keterampilan menulis teks deskripsi siswa tingkat SMP membutuhkan stimulasi yang menarik serta sesuai dengan minatnya. Mengingat siswa SMP adalah siswa pada rentang usia remaja awal yang baru mengalami fase anak-anak. Maka dari itu, guru perlu jeli dalam menentukan model belajar yang sesuai dengan tujuan pembelajaran. Dipadukan dengan perkembangan teknologi yang tengah eksis, guru dapat mengambil kesempatan untuk memanfaatkan kemudahan-kemudahan yang ditawarkan oleh teknologi-teknologi tersebut, salah satunya yakni Virtual Reality yang kini mulai merambah di kalangan masyarakat. Teknologi tersebut menyuguhkan simulasi maupun tayangan yang dapat dirasakan secara 3D (tiga dimensi) dapat dilihat, didengar, maupun dirasakan seolah penggunanya berada pada situasi yang ada dalam tayangan tersebut. Hal tersebut akan memudahkan guru dalam menstimulus siswa pada pembelajaran menulis teks deskripsi. lebih dari itu, teknologi VR bahkan tidak hanya dapat dimanfaatkan pada pembelajaran menulis saja, namun juga pembelajaran-pembelajaran lainnya, karena memberikan pengalaman pembelajaran yang unik dan menarik.

Abstract

The utilization of technology in Sociology learning can be used as a learning support, especially in schools that have implemented an independent curriculum. Learning media is not only a tool for presenting scientific information but also as a tool to help interact to achieve good learning outcomes. One of the technology-based learning media is the application, of the many applications that exist in the world of technology is the Canva application. Teachers can provide opportunities for students to engage their abilities and motivation in learning materials through Canva applications. This research was conducted using a qualitative research approach using observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaire techniques. The purpose of this study was to determine how the use of Canva application as a Sociology learning media in increasing learning motivation and creativity of class X students of SMA Negeri 1 Sidareja in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. The results of this study indicate that Canva-based learning media is very well used in the Sociology learning process because it can increase students' enthusiasm and motivation in participating in Sociology learning. The Canva application can also increase student creativity in making Sociology material designs, such as poster and infographic designs. Canva-based learning media can also increase student creativity, especially in making designs, so that learning becomes more fun.

Wheni Dewi Sumiratsih. 2220112011. Upaya Pencegahan Bullying Dengan Menciptakan Iklim Sekolah Berbasis Kearifan Lokal. Program Studi Magister Pendidikan IPS. Universitas Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.2024. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh maraknya fenomena bullying di kalangan pelajar. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan upaya pencegahan bullying dengan menciptakan iklim sekolah yang positif berbasis kearifan lokal yang diharapkan bisa memberikan manfaat dalam usaha menangani bullying secara tepat. Penambahan unsur kearifan lokal dalam upaya menciptakan iklim sekolah yang positif sebagai mencegah bullying menjadikan penelitian ini berbeda dari penelitian sebelumnya yang diharapkan dapat menambah khasanah keilmuan di bidang ini. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kepustakaan (library research) dengan cara mengumpulkan data penelitian yang sesuai/ relevan dengan topik permasalahan tanpa terjun ke lapangan. Pendekatan penelitian kualitatif, dengan cara menganalisis isi informasi dan melakukan pembahasan mendalam. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa iklim sekolah yang tidak kondusif sangat mempengaruhi terjadinya bullying di sekolah. Semakin positif iklim sekolah, semakin rendah perilaku bullying dan sebaliknya semakin negatif iklim sekolah maka semakin tinggi kecenderungan perilaku bullying pada siswa. Untuk itu perlu melakukan upaya pencegahan bullying dengan menciptakan iklim sekolah yang positif berbasis kearifan lokal (lokal wisdom dengan berbagai cara diantaranya dengan menanamkan nilai-nilai kebajikan, memanfaatkan permainan tradisional, cerita rakyat dan tradisi dan ritual serta melibatkan peran tokoh adat dan masyarakat sehingga sekolah dapat menciptakan lingkungan/ iklim sekolah yang aman dan nyaman bagi semua siswa.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of terracentrism on the deprivation of Indonesian long-term local wisdom on maritime life. Terracentrism, a phenomenon where land-based perspectives dominate over sea-based ones, has led to the erosion of traditional maritime knowledge and practices in Indonesia. The research employs domain analysis, a qualitative methodology inspired by Spradley's approach, to investigate the experiences and perceptions of local communities affected by this deprivation. The findings reveal that terracentrism has resulted in the loss of essential skills and knowledge necessary for sustainable maritime livelihoods. The study highlights the significant impact of this deprivation on the social, economic, and environmental well-being of coastal communities. Furthermore, it underscores the importance of preserving and promoting local wisdom in the face of globalization and environmental changes. The implications of this study emphasize the need for policymakers and stakeholders to recognize the value of traditional maritime knowledge and to incorporate it into modern conservation and management strategies. By doing so, they can help mitigate the negative effects of terracentrism and ensure the long- term sustainability of Indonesia's maritime life.

Abstract

Students should be given the opportunity to be actively involved in learning, for them to be able to construct their knowledge through critical thinking and developing collaboration by working together. Through STEM-PjBL-based Science and Social learning, students are involved in contextual learning and students are encouraged to learn to explore all their abilities. This study aims to determine the effect of STEM-PjBL-based Science and Social learning on critical thinking and collaboration skills of grade 6 students of SD Negeri 3 Plumbungan for the academic year 2022/2023. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 3 Plumbungan, Pagentan District, Banjarnegara Regency. This study uses a quantitative research approach, with associative research types (relationships), and uses quantitative analysis methods (numerical data). Data on critical thinking and collaborative thinking skills were collected through observation using assessment instruments in the form of rubrics. 6 students are used as the sample in this study. The research data were processed using a simple linear regression test with results for the effect of STEM-PjBL-based Science and Social learning on critical thinking skills tcount = 3,600 and ttable = 2,776, meaning tcount > ttable. For the effect of STEM-PjBL-based science learning on collaboration skills, tcount = 3.331 and ttabel = 2.776, means tcount > ttable. Based on the results of this study, it shows that there is an influence of STEM-PjBL-based Science and Social learning on critical thinking and collaboration skills of grade 6 students of SD Negeri 3 Plumbungan for the academic year 2022/2023. This research provides insight into the importance of STEM-PjBL-based Science and Social learning to improve 21st century skills, especially critical thinking, and collaboration of learners.

Abstract

Ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi mengalami perkembangan yang sangat pesat di era revolusi industri 4.0 dan society 5.0. Namun, kemajuan tersebut membawa dampak negatif berupa dekadensi moral dan penurunan nilai-nilai budaya. Diperlukan solusi untuk menanggulangi hal tersebut dengan mengintegrasikan kearifan lokal ke dalam pembelajaran. Selain itu, kearifan lokal juga perlu berdampingan dengan teknologi yang salah satunya adalah artificial intelligence. Maka dari itu, tujuan kajian ini untuk memberikan gagasan/ pandangan tentang optimalisasi pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal dengan menggunakan artificial intelligence. Kajian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan studi pustaka. Data yang terkumpul berasal dari beberapa jurnal ilmiah dan artikel ilmiah yang relevan dengan tujuan penelitian ini. Kajian ini terdiri dari tiga tahapan, yaitu: 1) Tahap orientasi, pada tahap ini peneliti mendeskripsikan data-data yang terkumpul; 2) Tahap reduksi, pada tahap ini peneliti mereduksi segala informasi yang telah diperoleh pada tahap pertama; dan 3) Tahap seleksi, setelah peneliti melakukan analisis yang mendalam terhadap data dan informasi yang diperoleh, maka peneliti dapat mengonstruksikan data yang diperoleh menjadi suatu bangunan pengetahuan. Hasil pada kajian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pemanfaatan kecerdasan buatan (AI) dalam menghadapi tantangan era revolusi industri 4.0 dan society 5.0 memiliki potensi besar untuk meningkatkan efektivitas proses belajar-mengajar. Inovasi penggunaan AI memungkinkan terciptanya lingkungan belajar yang lebih efisien dan efektif. Selain itu, para guru sebaiknya juga mengintegrasikan konten berbasis kearifan lokal dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, pendekatan pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal yang menggunakan kecerdasan buatan dapat menjadi solusi untuk membentengi siswa dari dekadensi moral dengan tetap mengikuti kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi yang pesat.

Abstract

Education seeks to improve 21st century skills. In facing the challenges of an increasingly complex modern era 21st century skills, such as critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, communication, and digital literacy, are important. The method of this paper uses documentation analysis and literature study on project-based learning and 21st century skills. Data will be collected from various sources such as educational policies, writing reports, and related scientific publications. The results of this paper are expected to provide a better understanding of the development of 21st century skills through project-based learning. the conclusion of this paper, it is expected to find ways that can be used to develop 21st century skills in education. The implications of this writing are expected to provide valuable input for educators to be able to develop 21st century skills through projects created and educators can design and implement curriculum that supports the development of 21st century skills well.

Abstract

Spelling arithmetic division is one of the things that is difficult in mathematics, especially in elementary schools. This is evidenced by the low evaluation or assessment results on the load. With this concern, the authors conducted research and trials regarding this matter in order to overcome the difficulties and obstacles experienced by students at SD Negeri 2 Kaliwungu, Mandiraja sub-district, Banjarnegara district. The action taken is by applying the Multiple Finger Technique (Teknik Jari Kelipatan). According to L. James Havery (2000) technique is a logical and rational procedure for designing a series of components that are related to each other with the intention of functioning as a unit in an effort to achieve a predetermined goal. While this multiple finger is the use of the fingers in the process of calculating division as a result. The application of this technique is felt to be very effective and able to generate students' understanding in SD Negeri 2 Kaliwungu regarding distribution so that the achievement and enthusiasm of students is increasing.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the types of errors made by seventh-grade students in class VII B of MTs Negeri 2 Banyumas in writing official letters. The errors discussed include spelling, word choice (diction), structural cohesion, capitalization errors, and difficulties in using standardized words in writing official letters. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a focus on a case study. The data used are official letters written by the students, which are analyzed, classified, and evaluated to assess the errors that occurred. The findings indicate that the errors that occurred included the use of capital letters, conjunctions, prepositions, and punctuation marks; inadequate word choice; difficulties in using standardized words; and ineffective sentence structure. These errors can affect the effectiveness of official letters in conveying the intended ideas. Therefore, specific teaching and training are needed to address these errors and improve the writing skills of students in writing official letters.
