IBTIDA (Jurnal Kajian Pendidikan Dasar) adalah jurnal yang diterbitkan pada Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Fakultas Tarbiyah dan Keguruan pada Institut Agama Islam Nahdlatul Ulama ( IAINU Kebumen ). Jurnal ini terbit dua kali setahun pada bulan Juni dan Desember . Selanjutnya jurnal ini diterbitkan dalam dua. Fokus jurnal ini memuat artikel-artikel penelitian tentang Pendidikan Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiyah/Pendidikan Guru MI/SD, seperti analisis kompetensi, strategi pembelajaran, teori pembelajaran, pengembangan pembelajaran, profesionalisme pendidik, dan hasil penelitian.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to describe the steps for implementing the Think Talk Write model with question card media in improving Mathematics learning about comparisons and improving Mathematics learning about comparisons through applying the Think Talk Write model with question card media. This research is classroom action research (PTK). The subjects in this research were class V students of Al-Latif SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang, totaling 25 students consisting of 10 female students and 15 male students. Data collection techniques in research are divided into two types, namely test and non-test. The data analysis technique used is qualitative descriptive analysis and quantitative descriptive analysis. The results of the research show that the application of the Think Talk Write model using question cards is carried out in the following steps: (a) the teacher forms groups of 4-5 students, (b) students are given problems in the form of questions or LKPD by the teacher, (c) students read the questions and think about possible answers by making notes (think), (d) the teacher asks students to discuss possible answers and determine the group's opinion (talk), (e) students write opinions resulting from group discussions in their own language (write), (f) students present the results of group discussions are then discussed in class, (g) the teacher and students conclude the lesson material. The Think Talk Write implementation model using question cards can improve mathematics learning about mathematics for fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang. The conclusion of this research is that the application of the Think Talk Write model using question cards can improve mathematics learning about mathematics for fifth grade students at SD Muhammadiyah 9 Malang.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve student learning outcomes through the theme 8 discovery learning model for fourth grade students at SD Negeri Dukuhan Kerten Surakarta. This research is classroom action research (PTK). This research was carried out at SDN Dukuhan Kerten Surakarta with a total of 273 students. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The results of the research show that the discovery learning model can improve learning outcomes for theme 9 "The Richness of My Country" in class IV students at SD Negeri Dukuhan Kerten for the 2022/2023 academic year. The increase occurred starting from cycle I at 38% and cycle II increased to 84.36%.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to improve science learning outcomes with magnetic material through the application of the Problem Based Learning learning model assisted by KIT Science and Digital Comics media for class VI students at SDN Kahuman. This research is a qualitative research. This research was carried out at SDN Kahuman Class VI with a total of 37 students. Data collection techniques in this research are observation, tests, and documentation. The data analysis technique used is interactive analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion. The research results show that the application of the problem based learning model with the help of digital comic media and Science KIT can improve student learning outcomes with 30 students getting scores above the KKM.

Abstract

Students often experience boredom during the teaching and learning process. The success of the learning process cannot be separated from the teacher's ability to implement learning models that focus on increasing the level of student involvement effectively in the learning process. Therefore teachers need to learn the ice breaking method. Ice breaking is a strategy used to warm the atmosphere to create conditions that are more conducive to learning activities. This research aims to investigate the benefits of using the ice breaker learning model for students. The first benefit that can be obtained is creating a conducive atmosphere. The second benefit of ice breaking is increasing familiarity between students. By using ice breaking, students can interact more intimately and get to know each other. This can help build better relationships between students in the classroom. Lastly, ice breaking can also train students' concentration. This research uses action research methods with research subjects consisting of grade 3 students at SD Negeri 2 Gemeksekti. Data was collected from interviews, observation and documentation. Based on the research results of students from cycle I to cycle II, their scores increased. And the results of observations from cycles II to III showed that students' scores increased in understanding the material and focus on learning.

Abstract

Islamic Cultural History is a sub-material in PAI. SKI teaching and learning activities should not only be limited to the transfer of knowledge but also transfer educational value or value education. The image of SKI subjects among students is synonymous with stories. Learning carried out with lectures makes students feel bored. Therefore, researchers are interested in researching learning methods that are able to produce good learning outcomes. The objectives of this study are to improve the character of students through SKI learning. This research is a qualitative research that uses an ethnographic approach. The subjects of this study are principals, teachers, and grade 4 students at SD Negeri 1 Podoluhur. The results of this study prove that the application of the role playing method improves character as one of the learning outcomes of students in SKI learning. It is evidenced by the increase in the presentation of student learning outcomes by 10% per cycle with the accumulation of student activity from 55% to 95% and the accumulation of student understanding from 50% to 95%. In addition, it also improves the character of religious, nationalist, independent and mutual cooperation with students. The conclusion of the study using the role playing method is very effective in improving character through student learning outcomes.

Abstract

This research aims to increase the creativity of grade IV students at Sdit Al-Maarif Darussalam for the 2024/2025 academic year. This research was carried out at Sdit Al-Maarif Darussalam with a total of 10 children consisting of 6 boys and 4 girls. This study uses classroom action research techniques (PTK The research subjects are 10 children. The object of this research uses data collection techniques, observation, documentation and tests. The data analysis techniques used are qualitative and quantitative techniques The research can be said to be successful if it has reached a score or criterion of 80. The results of the research conducted showed that the increase in creativity of pre-action and pre-cycle students only reached 40%, in the first cycle increased to 60% and in the second cycle increased to 90%. So it can be concluded that the selection of learning methods is very important in arousing students' creativity because if the learning methods presented are interesting will make students more focused and pay attention to the learning conveyed by the teacher, especially in learning cultural arts which is considered difficult by most students because it requires students to apply their imagination. The research was stopped in cycle II because it had met the success criteria.

Abstract

This research uses a type of qualitative research with a case study approach, which aims to examine the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model on students' critical thinking abilities. The subjects in this research were class IV students at SD Negeri 7 Juara Barat with a total of 23 students. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Then the data analysis used in this research is: data condensation, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this research show that in general in the learning process, teachers carry out several stages, including the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. The planning stage is the stage where the teacher plans and designs the learning process, such as analyzing material, formulating objectives and compiling assessment tools. The implementation stage is the stage where the teacher carries out the learning process in the classroom by creating an active and conducive learning atmosphere. The evaluation stage is the stage where the teacher carries out the process of collecting data, to determine the extent of students' abilities in achieving educational goals. At the implementation stage, the teacher carries out the learning process in the classroom using the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model, which consists of six stages, namely the stage of asking basic questions, designing and planning projects, preparing project creation schedules, monitoring students, testing results and evaluating . Based on the stages of the Project Based Learning (PjBL) learning model, it can develop students' critical thinking skills which are characterized by students being able to ask, answer questions, explain, conclude and create projects according to the indicators of critical thinking skills, namely providing simple explanations, building basic skills, concluding. , provide further explanations and determine strategies and techniques.

Abstract

This research aims to explore efforts to raise reading motivation in grade 2 students at SDN 4 Santong using reading board media. The research method used was a case study with participants in class 2 of SDN 4 Santong. Reading board media was chosen as a means to increase students' reading interest because of its ability to attract attention and visualize information in an interesting way. The research results show that the use of reading board media can be effective in increasing the reading motivation of grade 2 students, with higher levels of participation and interest in reading. The implication of this research is the need to integrate reading board media in reading learning in grade 2 elementary school in order to increase students' motivation and interest in reading.

Abstract

This research is to describe teachers' strategies in implementing school rules and regulations in class III at SDN 3 Sigar Penjalin for the 2023/2024 academic year. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach in terms of the method is a descriptive method. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data sources for this research are school principals, teachers and students. And the data analysis techniques used in this research are data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show: (1) Implementation of school rules in class III at SDN 3 Sigar Penjalin. The results of research conducted by researchers at SDN 3 Sigar Penjalin show that the implementation of school rules at SDN 3 Sigar Penjalin is still said to be not going well. Because there are still some students who do not obey and carry out school rules properly. There are still some students who violate the rules that have been made by the school. For example, arriving late and not wearing full uniform attributes during the flag ceremony. (2) Factors that cause violations of discipline in class III of SDN 3 Sigar Penjalin. Environmental factors are the main points that influence children's lack of discipline in learning. However, building an environment that cares about education is not an easy job. Parents of students who have never received education will find it difficult to determine methods or educate their children with the right approach. On the other hand, a good environment that cares about education demands learning support facilities such as access to book technology and other learning facilities and meeting these needs requires a budget. (3) The impact of implementing the Rules of Conduct on class III students at SDN 3 Sigar Penjalin. The existence of these school rules can have a good impact on students, teachers, and the surrounding community, such as students becoming disciplined, students not liking to miss classes, and students no longer being noisy. In class during KBM, students don't want to make mistakes again because they are afraid of the punishment given by the teacher.

Abstract

This research is to describe the implementation of the graphic media learning method applied by class II teachers at SDN 1 Juara Barat. This research was carried out at SDN 1 Juara Barat District in class II of SDN 1 Juara Barat in the 2023/2024 school year. The method used in this research is a qualitative approach and in terms of method it is a descriptive method. Data collection techniques use observation, interviews and documentation techniques. The data sources for this research are school principals, teachers and students. And the data analysis techniques used in this research are data collection, data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions. The results of the research show that (1) Implementation of the visual media learning method to improve the writing skills of class II students at SDN 1 Juara Barat was carried out by a) The teacher directing students to read first, getting into the habit of reading, b) Providing visual type learning media that can support the process. learning activities by choosing media that is as interesting as possible so that students are interested in participating in learning activities by paying attention to learning objectives. c) Using the practice learning method is necessary to make it easier for students to understand the learning material and the teaching and learning process can run smoothly and effectively. (2). The obstacles faced by teachers in improving the writing skills of grade 2 students at SDN 1 Juara Barat for the 2024 academic year are the lack of students' ability to string and arrange random letters into perfect vocabulary, low student interest in reading and low student interest in learning. The teacher has tried several things to find out the obstacles and solutions carried out by the teacher as a result of which the students' ability to write narrative essays can improve.
