Abstract

Sustainable tourism has become a major issue affecting the tourism industry in recent years. This study aims to evaluate the impact of green marketing strategies, social media, destination image, and tourists’ perceptions of sustainable tourism practices, with green tourism as a mediating variable. The method used is a systematic literature review with evaluation of reporting quality and methodology based on compliance with the PRISMA checklist and the AMSTAR quality scale. Data were collected from 200 articles categorized into four groups: Group A (15 articles in the last 10 years that explicitly mention PRISMA), Group B (15 articles from the same journal without mentioning PRISMA), Group C (30 articles published a year before the ratification of PRISMA), and Group D (30 articles from 10 journals with the highest impact factors in the field of sustainable tourism that do not support PRISMA). The results of the literature review indicate that green marketing strategies, such as the promotion of environmentally friendly products and services, are able to attract environmentally conscious tourists and encourage sustainable behavior. Social media is also effective in raising awareness and shaping the image of a responsible destination, which in turn influences tourist choice and loyalty. These findings emphasize the need to develop sustainable and environmentally friendly tourism products to optimize economic benefits and environmental preservation in the tourism industry.

Abstract

Indonesia has contributed significantly in the effort to achieve Sustainable Development Goal 6 (SDG 6) through domestic water management and by advocating for global water diplomacy. At the domestic level, Indonesia created programs such as PAMSIMAS and the 100-0-100, which have expanded access to clean water and sanitation. However, some challenges persist, such as regional gaps, water pollution, and climate change weaknesses. At the global level, Indonesia influences platforms like the UN Water Conference and ASEAN to support fair water management and sustainable solutions. The appointment of Indonesia’s former foreign minister, Retno Marsudi, as the UN Special Envoy for Water Issues will provide Indonesia with more opportunities to impact the issue of global water regime, as this will connect international agendas with Indonesia’s national priorities. This study will explore Indonesia's dual approach opportunities to support domestic reforms with global commitments. This will be conducted through emphasizing accomplishments and challenges, as well as strengthening its role as a leader in sustainable development.

Abstract

This study analyzes the status of village apparatus personnel in the village government system in Indonesia, especially from the perspective of legal certainty and state administrative law. Although village officials play an important role in public services at the village government level, uncertainty regarding the status of village officials, especially whether village officials are recognized as State Civil Apparatus (ASN) or Government Employees with Employment Agreements (PPPK), pose problems in aspects of welfare, career stability, and service professionalism. This study uses a normative juridical analysis method, this study examines the role of the state in providing clear legal guarantees for village officials through the formation of specific regulations with an approach to analysis, legislation and case studies. Based on the findings of the research, the need for the formulation of policies that recognize village apparatus as part of ASN or PPPK, as well as the regulation of welfare and work capacity of village apparatus, is an important recommendation to increase the effectiveness of village government based on the principle of legal certainty and state administrative law. The conclusions and suggestions from this study are expected to create a more transparent, accountable, and professional village government, in accordance with the goal of village autonomy mandated by Law Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages and its latest changes.

Abstract

The implementation of decentralization and regional autonomy in Indonesia still faces various challenges, although it has experienced significant developments. Various laws and government policies have been implemented to strengthen regional governance and improve community welfare. However, in practice, there are still obstacles in implementing these policies, such as the imbalance of authority between the central and regional governments and problems in resource management. Along with the dynamics of change from the Old Order era to the Reformation Era, decentralization continues to undergo adjustments to be more effective. Therefore, this study seeks to provide a deeper understanding of the development of decentralization and regional autonomy in Indonesia and to be a reference for improving future policies.

Abstract

Some churches in Salatiga have fellowships for the elderly. These fellowships are named differently: in the Protestant Church in Western Indonesia (GPIB) Tamansari Salatiga, it is called PKLU (Fellowship of the Elderly); in GKJ 55, it is named Persekutuan Adiyuswo; and in the Pentecostal Church in Indonesia (GPDI) Siloam, it is referred to as Kaum Usia Lanjut. Old age is a period when individuals reach maturity in the life process. During this stage, individuals experience various changes and challenges, including adapting to old age, achieving life goals, integrating into their surroundings, and maintaining patterns in their personal and communal lives. Some elderly fellowships make individuals feel uncomfortable and withdraw from activities, while others motivate them to continue participating. This study aims to develop the AGIL concept, which includes adaptation, goal attainment, integration, and latent pattern maintenance, to support the sustainability of the elderly fellowship at GKJ 55, GPIB Tamansari, and GPDI Siloam in Salatiga. The research employs a qualitative-constructive method. The results show that the elderly adapt both as leaders and members of the fellowship. The purpose of participating in these fellowships is to socialize with fellow seniors, communicate, feel happy, and enjoy themselves. Integration among elderly members and leaders is evident in every fellowship activity. Pattern maintenance is achieved through the continuity of monthly fellowship and worship services, ensuring the sustainability of the elderly fellowship at GKJ 55, GPIB Tamansari, and GPDI Siloam in Salatiga.

Abstract

The existence of religious tourism with a variety of cultural phenomena and social systems is quite interesting to study. The researcher's interest is mainly focused on the process of Indonesian Christians in interpreting Jewish culture through religious tourism. The research methodology used is qualitative which emphasizes inductive thinking that produces descriptive data. There are three concepts that strengthen the theory of hope value to examine how Jewish culture in terms of religious aspects, has a wider and deeper impact on all Christians around the world, including Christians from Indonesia, even though Indonesia does not have diplomatic relations with Israel. It examines the attitudes and behaviors Christians have after seeing firsthand and studying the culture of the Jewish religious community and how religious aspects can shape the mindset and behavior of Christians after studying the culture of the Jewish people.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of spending efficiency ratio and budget realization growth ratio on the financial performance of the Regional Inspectorate of West Java Province from 2020 to 2023. The study employs a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression analysis to measure the effect of independent variables on financial performance. The findings indicate that the spending efficiency ratio has a positive and significant effect on financial performance, demonstrating that optimal budget utilization enhances regional financial stability. Additionally, the budget realization growth ratio also has a significant impact, although its influence is relatively lower than spending efficiency. The results emphasize the importance of efficient financial management and budget allocation planning in improving regional financial performance. These findings provide insights for policymakers to enhance financial transparency and accountability in local government budget planning and execution.

Abstract

The Waste Bank serves as both a platform to address community issues and a facility for waste management based on the principles of reduce, reuse, and recycle (3R). It's utilized by local governments for educational purposes, fostering behavioral changes in waste management, and promoting circular economy practices. Managed jointly by the community, businesses, and the government, it's a collaborative effort aimed at tackling waste issues. A qualitative study analyzing waste bank management policies in Tasikmalaya City reveals a successful implementation driven by robust cooperation between the government and the community in waste management endeavors. Even though there are still obstacles such as the lack of clear regulations and inadequate waste processing methods, the Waste Bank has succeeded in changing people's view of waste into something that has economic value. To be more effective, regulations, waste processing and utilization of existing facilities need to be improved. Factors such as resource availability, community participation, technological development, characteristics of Waste Bank users, economic, social, political factors and government support influence the implementation of Waste Banks. Even though there are still obstacles such as lack of resources and public understanding, with technological development, behavioral changes, government support and good strategies, waste banks have great potential to manage waste more efficiently and provide great economic and environmental benefits for the City of Tasikmalaya.

Abstract

Discretion is a form of authority granted to law enforcement officers, including police investigators, to make decisions based on specific judgments to ensure the smooth progression of legal processes. The purpose of this study is to analyze the process of investigation, inquiry, and the determination of suspects in cases of document forgery. The theories utilized in this thesis research include the theory of investigation, the theory of law enforcement, and the theory of discretion. This research employs a normative juridical method, a legal research approach used to analyze and evaluate applicable legal norms and their application in practice. The findings indicate that in cases of document forgery, original evidence must be presented to investigators for subsequent seizure as valid evidence in proving the criminal act of document forgery. Photocopy evidence alone, unsupported by other evidence, is deemed inadmissible. In conclusion, the discretion applied in the investigation process and suspect determination is expected to align with legal principles. Excessive or improper use of discretion can lead to abuse of authority, ultimately undermining public trust in law enforcement institutions.
