A valid and accepted scientific methodology must be applied. Journal of Aafiyah Health Research (JAHR) is published by the Postgraduate Program in Public Health, Universitas Muslim Indonesia. The publication is issued twice a year (June and December). JAHR encourages the submission of studies from developing countries, as research publication from developing countries is underrepresented in international journals. We welcome all of the students, experts, practitioners, and academicians who are interested in JAHR to submit their articles. The authors can submit articles by following the scheduled publication of JAHR. Articles are written in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract Background: Euthanasia up to now, there are still no regulations or regulations that are legally implemented and apply in Indonesia, including criminal responsibility for the perpetrator or family who wants euthanasia. Currently, euthanasia is discussed more often and is equated with the action of a doctor or health worker who carries out the act or act of injecting a patient to death at the request of the patient himself or at the request of the victim's family. There are various opinions about the pros and cons of euthanasia, including being faced with two difficult choices, namely the right to life and the right to make choices. Aim: This research aims to explore the act of euthanasia, both active and passive, along with ethical and moral dilemmas Method: The method used in this writing is a literature review which is a systematic, explicit and reproducible method for identifying, evaluating and synthesizing research works and ideas that have been produced by researchers and practitioners. Results: The research results show that euthanasia is an ethical and moral dilemma in the code of ethics of health professionals because they are faced with a difficult choice between complying or not complying with requests from the patient/family directly and indirectly. Passive euthanasia is still ethically acceptable with several considerations, but active euthanasia is opposed to being carried out on ethical, moral and legal grounds. The right to life must not be revoked arbitrarily or "arbitrarily deprived" which is implemented by limiting the scope of this right, and therefore it is the state's duty to ensure the right to life. Countries that allow euthanasia must provide effective safety procedures so that it is not used as an abuse. Conclusion: Euthanasia is an ethical and moral dilemma in the code of ethics for health professionals because they are faced with a difficult choice between complying or not complying with requests from the patient/family directly and indirectly. Passive euthanasia is still ethically acceptable with several considerations, but active euthanasia is opposed on ethical, moral and legal grounds.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis intervensi pendidikan gizi masyarakat melalui kelas ibu hamil, kelas ibu balita dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki baduta umur 0-24 bulan dan data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara univariat,dan bivariat. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa analisis univariat, jumlah balita stunting sejumlah 22 orang (30.1%) dan balita normal sejumlah 51 orang (69.9%). Analisis bivariat memakai uji chi-square dengan hasil yaitu intervensi pendidikan gizi melalui kelas ibu hamil dengan p- palue 0,027 dan kelas ibu balita terhadap pencegahan primer stunting didapatkan nilai p-value 0.000 (α<0.05) artinya ada pengaruh intervensi pendidikan gizi terhadap pencegahan primer stunting melalui kelas ibu hamil dan kelas ibu balita dan variabel pemberdayaan masyarakat dengan nilai p-value 0.492 (α<0.05) artinya tidak ada pengaruh intervensi pendidikan gizi masyarakat melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pencegahan primer sunting. Dalam penelitian ini simpulkan bahwa intervensi pendidikan gizi masyarakat melalui kelas ibu hamil dan kelas ibu balita merupakan variabel yang berpengaruh dalam pencegahan primer stunting. Pendampingan suami dan keluarga untuk meningkatkan kepatuhan ibu mengikuti kelas ibu hamil dan ibu balita, meningkatkan sosialisasi kepada pemerintah setempat, tokoh masyarakat, tokoh agama dan tokoh adat dalam rangka mendapatkan dukungan terhadap pelayanan kesehatan di wilayah kecamatan Mehalaan. Abstract This research aimed to analyze community nutrition education interventions through classes for pregnant women, classes for mothers of toddlers, and community empowerment. This type of research is quantitative with a cross-sectional approach. The population of this study were mothers of toddlers aged 0-24 months and the data collected was analyzed univariately and bivariately. The results of this study showed that in univariate analysis, the number of stunted toddlers was 22 people (30.1%) and normal toddlers were 51 people (69.9%). Bivariate analysis used the chi-square test with the results, namely nutritional education intervention through pregnant women's classes with a p-value of 0.027 and toddler mothers' classes on primary prevention of stunting, with a p-value of 0.000 (α<0.05), meaning there was an effect of nutritional education intervention on primary prevention. stunting through classes for pregnant women and classes for mothers under five and the community empowerment variable with a p-value of 0.492 (α<0.05), meaning there is no effect of community nutrition education interventions through community empowerment in primary prevention. In this study, it is concluded that community nutrition education interventions through classes for pregnant women and classes for mothers of toddlers influence the primary prevention of stunting. Assistance from husbands and families to increase mothers' compliance in attending classes for pregnant women and toddler mothers, increasing outreach to local government, community leaders, religious leaders and traditional leaders in order to get support for health services in the Mehalaan sub-district area.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi percepatan penurunan stunting berdasarkan input proses output menurut Perpres No 72 tahun 2021 di Kabupaten Banggai Laut. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan pendekatan fenomenologi (phenomenology) yaitu jenis penelitian yang terperinsi penjelasan dan pemahaman individual berdasarkan pengalaman yang didapatkan khususnya mengenai implementasi Perpres 72 Tahun 2021 dalam percepatan penurunan stunting di Kabupaten Banggai Laut menggunakan teknik Indepth Interview (wawancara mendalam), dan melakukan observasi serta dokumentasi secara terus menerus selama penelitian berlangsung dengan 8 informan. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan para informan, bahwa komponen input yaitu dilihat dari sumber daya manusia, pendanaan, dan sarana prasarana sudah berjalan dengan baik dengan adanya tim percepatan penurunan stunting yang dibentuk. Alokasi dana dalam percepatan penurunan stunting dikabupaten banggai laut pendanaannya dari APBN daerah melalui intevensi Dana Alokasi Khusus dan Dana Alokasi Umum. Sarana dan prasarana penunjang pelaksanaan program penanggulangan stunting untuk alat pengukuran jumlahnya masih kurang, terutama alat antropometri. Sementara komponen proses yaitu dilihat dari sisi perencanaan program dan pelaksanaan program stunting, yang mana proses dalam percepatan penurunan stunting dikabupaten Banggai Laut telah berjalan dengan baik sesuai dengan Perpres no 72 tahun 2021. Dinas Kesehatan menyebutkan bahwa program yang dijalankan dalam percepatan penurunan stunting sesuai dengan program yang telah dilakukan pada tahun lalu dan tahun-tahun sebelumnya yaitu berupa kegiatan 5 pilar. Dan komponen output bahwa prevalensi stunting dikabupaten banggai laut dari tahun ketahun mengalami penurunan dan sudah melewati target yang ditentukan sesuai perpres no 72 tahun 2021, Kabupaten Banggai Laut menjadi kabupaten dengan angka prevalensi stunting terendah diSulawesi Tengah. Pemerintah Daerah Kabupaten Banggai Laut telah melakukan upaya percepatan penurunan stunting dengan baik berdasarkan Perpres no 72 tahun 2021 dan melaksanakan 5 pilar strategi percepatan penurunan stunting terbukti dengan prevalensi stunting dikabupaten Banggai Laut yang mengalami penurunan setiap tahunnya dan telah mencapai 14% sesuai dengan target dalam perpres no 72 tahun 2021.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengaruh kepemimpinan transformational melalui kualitas karyawan terhadap kinerja karyawan di RSUD dr. La Palaloi Kabupaten Maros. Penelitian merupakan penelitian deskriptif korelasi menggunakan pengumpulan dengan desain penelitian Cross Sectional jenis penelitian menekankan pengukuran Observasi Variabel. Penelitian dilaksanakan di RSUD dr. La Palaloi Kabupaten Maros pada tanggal 22 Maret s/d 22 April 2024. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua tenaga administrasi yang bertugas di RSUD dr. La Palaloi Kabupaten Maros sebanyak 115 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian adalah sebagian tenaga administrasi bertugas di sebanyak 53 orang dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel secara Purposive Sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional kharisma kualitas berpengaruh terhadap kualitas karyawan (p=0,003), kharisma kualitas berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan (p=0,016), motivasi inspiratif berpengaruh terhadap kualitas karyawan (p=0,001), motivasi inspiratif berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan (p=0,006), stimulasi intelektual berpengaruh terhadap kualitas karyawan (p=0,043), stimulasi intelektual berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan (p=0,003), perhatian individual berpengaruh terhadap kualitas karyawan (p=0,002), perhatian individual berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan (p=0,008), kualitas karyawan berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan (p=0,010), kharisma berpengaruh terhadap kualitas karyawan (p=0,009) melalui kinerja karyawan, motivasi inspiratif berpengaruh terhadap kualitas karyawan (p=0,016) melalui kinerja karyawan, stimulasi intelektual berpengaruh terhadap kualitas karyawan (p=0,023) melalui kinerja karyawan, perhatian individual berpengaruh terhadap kualitas karyawan (p=0,017) melalui kinerja karyawan. Disarankan pihak rumah sakit mampu memperhatikan sikap dan perilaku karyawannya dalam bekerja, seperti perilaku dalam disiplin waktu saat bekerja serta sikap dan perilaku tanggung jawab karyawan dalam menyelesaikan pekerjaan, maka akan meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Abstract This research aimed to analyze the influence of transformational leadership through employee quality on employee performance at RSUD dr. La Palaloi, Maros Regency. The descriptive correlational research uses collection with a Cross-Sectional research design. This type of research emphasizes the measurement of Observational Variables. The research was carried out at RSUD dr. La Palaloi, Maros Regency from March 22 to April 22 2024. The population in this study were all administrative staff who served at RSUD dr. La Palaloi, Maros Regency, is 115 people. The sample in the research consisted of 53 administrative staff on duty using a purposive sampling technique. The results of the research show that quality charisma transformational leadership influences employee quality (p=0.003), quality charisma influences employee performance (p=0.016), inspirational motivation influences employee quality (p=0.001), inspirational motivation influences employee performance (p =0.006), intellectual stimulation influences employee quality (p=0.043), intellectual stimulation influences employee performance (p=0.003), individual attention influences employee quality (p=0.002), individual attention influences employee performance (p=0.008 ), employee quality influences employee performance (p=0.010), charisma influences employee quality (p=0.009) through employee performance, inspirational motivation influences employee quality (p=0.016) through employee performance, intellectual stimulation influences employee quality ( p=0.023) through employee performance, individual attention influences employee quality (p=0.017) through employee performance. It is recommended that the hospital be able to pay attention to the attitudes and behavior of its employees at work, such as behavior in time discipline while working as well as the attitude and behavior of employee responsibility in completing work, this will improve employee performance.

Abstract

Background: Screen time exposure have an impact to children's speech delay. Children's speech delays occur when they do not reach age-appropriate communication levels or have inappropriate speech patterns. One of factors causing this delay is related to exposure to electronic media screens (screen time) that is too long or excessive. Excessive exposure can have an impact, one of which is on the development of receptive language in toddlers. Aim: To determine the suitability of the relationship between the intensity of exposure to electronic media screens and aspects of receptive language development in toddlers at the Dinoyo Community Health Center, Malang City. Method: There were a questionnaire regarding the intensity of exposure to electronic media screens and CLAMS (Clinical Linguistic Auditory Milestone Scale) that would be answered by parents or the guardians of these toddlers with aged 1-36 month. Data was analyzed using SPSS software. Results: Toddlers exposured to electronic screen media (screen time) on receptive language development in toddlers aged 1-36 months at the Dinoyo Community Health Center in Malang City were not have a relation or very low correlation (r = 0.061). Conclusion: Our study suggests there is no corellation between screen time and language delays, as other factors play a role. Adhering to AAP screen time guidelines may help reduce delays in children's language and speech development.

Abstract

Abstrak Tujuan penelitian untuk menganalisis implementasi penanggulangan penyakit tidak menular berdasarkan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 71 Tahun 2015 di Puskesmas Kahu Kabupaten Bone. Jenis penelitianyang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan tujuan untuk mendapatkan gambaran informasi mendalam tentang penerapan suatu program, aktivitas, kejadian dan proses secara mendalam untuk mengetahui sejauh mana implementasi Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan Nomor 71 Tahun 2015 tentang Penanggulangan Penyakit Tidak Menular (PTM) diterapkan. Data primer diperoleh dengan triangulasi teknik pengumpulan data, wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Informan pada penelitian ini ada 6 informan yaitu 1 informan kunci dan 6 informan biasa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Permenkes Nomor 71 Tahun 2015 di Puskesmas Kahu sudah berjalan sesuai dengan aturan yang ada, namun masih terdapat hambatan dalam pelaksanaan surveilans penyakit tidak menular, perlindungan khusus, serta dalam penelitian dan pengembangan, terlihat dari hasil wawancara ke enam informan. Rekomendasi untuk pihak Puskesmas untuk lebih aktif dalam mensosialisasikan dan melakukan penyuluhan tentang penyakit tidak menular serta memperkuat kerjasama dengan lintas program melalui upaya promosi kesehatan dengan melibatkan petugas promosi kesehatan dan pengelola penyakit tidak menular. Abstract The research aims to analyze the implementation of non-communicable disease control based on Minister of Health Regulation Number 71 of 2015 at the Kahu Community Health Center, Bone Regency. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative to get an in-depth description of information about the implementation of a program, activity, event, and process in depth to find out the extent of implementation of Minister of Health Regulation Number 71 of 2015 concerning Management of Non-Communicable Diseases (PTM). applied. Triangulating data collection techniques, in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation obtained primary data. There were 6 informants in this study, namely 1 key informant and 6 regular informants. The results of the research show that the implementation of Minister of Health Regulation Number 71 of 2015 at the Kahu Community Health Center has been running following existing regulations. However, there are still obstacles in implementing non-communicable disease surveillance, and special protection, as well as in research and development, as seen from the results of interviews with six informants. Recommendations for the Community Health Center to be more active in socializing, providing education about non-communicable diseases, and strengthening collaboration with cross-programs through health promotion efforts involving health promotion officers and non-communicable disease managers.

Abstract

Abstract Latar Belakang: Patologi saluran kemih dan genital bertanggung jawab atas beban penyakit yang cukup besar di seluruh dunia, menyebabkan hilangnya produktivitas, peningkatan beban biaya kesehatan, dan penurunan kualitas hidup (QoL) pada individu terdampak. Tujuan: Menyajikan karakteristik pasien urologi selama tiga tahun terakhir untuk menentukan strategi komprehensif pengelolaan penyakit terkait. Metode: Penelitian retrospektif cross-sectional terhadap pasien di Poliklinik Urologi RSUD Undata, berdasarkan data rekam medis periode Januari 2021 hingga Desember 2023, data dikumpulkan dengan teknik total sampling. Hasil: Penelitian ini terdiri dari 5223 total pasien. Distribusi berdasarkan usia meliputi; 31,4% pada usia 61-70 tahun, 24,3% pada usia 51-60 tahun, 15,1% pada usia >70 tahun, 12,2% pada usia 41-50 tahun. Sebanyak 7,3% pada usia 31-40 tahun, 5,1% pada usia 21-30 tahun, dan masing-masing 2,2% pada usia <10 tahun dan 11-20 tahun. Distribusi berdasarkan jenis kelamin meliputi; 81,2% pasien laki-laki dan 18,8% pasien perempuan. Distribusi berdasarkan diagnosis meliputi; sebanyak 2988 subjek penelitian yaitu 57,2% dengan diagnosis hiperplasia prostat, 16,7% dengan diagnosis batu ginjal, dan 6,8% dengan diagnosis batu ureter. Kesimpulan: Pasien di Poliklinik Urologi RSUD Undata umumnya lanjut usia, terbanyak pada rentang usia 61-70 tahun, diikuti rentang usia 51-60 tahun, sebagian besar pasien laki-laki dan diagnosis terbanyak adalah hiperplasia prostat, batu ginjal, dan batu ureter. ABSTRACT Background: Urinary and genital tract pathologies are responsible for a substantial burden of disease worldwide, causing lost productivity, increased healthcare costs, and reduced quality of life (QoL) in affected individuals. Objective: To present the characteristics of urological patients over the last three years to determine a comprehensive strategy for managing related diseases. Method: Retrospective cross-sectional study of patients at the Urology Polyclinic at Undata Regional Hospital, based on medical record data from January 2021 to December 2023, data was collected using a total sampling technique. Results: This study consisted of 5223 total patients. Distribution based on age includes; 31.4% at age 61-70 years, 24.3% at age 51-60 years, 15.1% at age >70 years, 12.2% at age 41-50 years. As many as 7.3% at the age of 31-40 years, 5.1% at the age of 21-30 years, and 2.2% respectively at the age of <10 years and 11-20 years. Distribution based on gender includes; 81.2% of male patients and 18.8% of female patients. Distribution based on diagnosis includes; A total of 2988 research subjects, namely 57.2% with a diagnosis of prostatic hyperplasia, 16.7% with a diagnosis of kidney stones, and 6.8% with a diagnosis of ureteral stones. Conclusion: Patients at the Urology Polyclinic at Undata Regional Hospital are generally elderly, most in the age range 61-70 years, followed by the age range 51-60 years, most of the patients are male and the most common diagnoses are prostatic hyperplasia, kidney stones and ureteral stones.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kinerja yang baik menuntut perilaku pegawai tidak hanya berperilaku in-role, tetapi juga perilaku extra-role (OCB). Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh public service motivation terhadap organizational citizenship behavior dokter Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah di Kota Makassar. Metode: Lokasi penelitian terdiri dari tiga rumah sakit umum daerah kelas B yang ada di kota Makassar, yaitu RSUD Haji, RSUD Kota Makassar dan RSUD Labuang Baji. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan desain observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional study. Sampel sebanyak 101 dokter dipilih dengan teknik simple random sampling, yang sebelumnya dilakukan perhitungan dengan metode proportional random sampling. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada pengaruh signifikan public service motivation terhadap organizational citizenship behavior. Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai referensi pihak RS dengan mempelajari variabel public servicemotivation yang tergolong baru di bidang perumahsakitan. Dilanjutkan dengan mempertimbangkan instrumen public servicemotivation sebagai salah satu tes dalam perekrutan dan penempatan staf rumah sakit. Diharapkan nantinya, rumah sakit memiliki orang-orang dengan tingkat public servicemotivation tinggi dan menempati posisi yang sesuai. Pada akhirnya mereka akan menunjukkan organizational citizenship behavior yang dimiliki.   ABSTRACT Background: The good performance demands the employees’ behavior not only the in-role behavior, but also the extra-role behavior (OCB). Objective: This research aimed to analyze the effects of public service motivation on the physician’s organizational citizenship behavior in Regional General Hospital of Makassar City. Method: The research locations consisted of three regional general hospital of class B in Makassar City namely: the Regional General Hospital, Haji, Regional General Hospital of Makassar City, and Regional General Hospital, Labuang Baji. This was quantitative research using the observational analytic design with cross-sectional study approach. Sample were as many as 101 physicians who were selected using the simple random sampling technique after the calculation with proportional random sampling method had been carried out. The data were analyzed by using simple linear regression analysis. Result: The results indicates that there is an effect of public service motivation on organizational citizenship behavior. Conclution: This research can be used as a reference for hospitals by studying public service motivation variables which are relatively new in the hospital sector. Followed by considering the public service motivation instrument as one of the tests in recruiting and placing hospital staff. It is hoped that in the future, hospitals will have people with high levels of public service motivation and occupy appropriate positions. In the end, they will demonstrate their organizational citizenship behavior.

Abstract

ABSTRAK   Latar Belakang: Budaya organisasi sering diartikan sebagai nilai-nilai yang dimengerti dan dipatuhi bersama yang dimiliki oleh suatu organisasi sehingga organisasi merasa satu keluarga dan menciptakan suatu kondisi anggota organisasi tersebut merasa berbeda dengan organisasi lainnya. Tujuan: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi terhadap kinerja perawat instalasi rawat inap di RSUD Labuang Baji Kota Makassar. Metode: Lokasi penelitian RSUD Labuang Baji. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif. Rancangan yang digunakan adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional study. Jumlah responden sebanyak 170 orang perawat diambil dari seluruh populasi. Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan uji regresi linier logistik Hasil: Hasil penelitian responden dengan variabel Involvement berpengaruh signifikan (p<0.003) ,dan Consistency berpengaruh signifikan (p<0.029). Kesimpulan: Penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh involvement dan consistency terhadap kinerja perawat sedangkan adaptability tidak terdapat pengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat dan mission tidak terdapat pengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat di instalasi rawat inap RSUD Labuang Baji. Diharapkan Penelitian selanjutnya dapat memperluas orientasi penelitian sehingga dapat diketahui faktor-faktor budaya organisasi berpengaruh terhadap kinerja perawat.   ABSTRACT Background: Organizational culture is often interpreted as shared and understood values ​​shared by an organization so that the organization feels one family and creates a condition where members of the organization feel different from other organizations.. Objective: The aim of the research was to analyze the influence of organizational culture on the performance of nurses inpatient care in Labuang Baji Regional Hospital Makassar Method: The research locations in Regional General Hospital, Labuang Baji. This was a quantitative quantitative research. The design used was observational analytic cross-sectional study approach. The number of respondents were 170 nurses taken from the entire population. Data were analyzed using logistic linear regression test. Result: The results of the study of respondents with the variable Involvement significantly influence (p<0.003) and the consistency has a significant effect (p <0.029) Conclution: This research  is an influence of involvement and consistency on the performance of nurses while adaptability does not affect the performance of nurses and mission there is no influence on the performance of nurses in the inpatient installation of Labuang Baji Hospital. It is hoped that further research can broaden the orientation of research so that organizational culture factors can influence the performance of nurses.

Abstract

Abstrak Diabetes Melitus telah menjadi penyakit kronis yang mendominasi angka kesakitan dan kematian beberapa tahun terakhir. Salah satu alternatif dalam pengelolaan Diabetes Melitus yaitu berpuasa Sunnah Senin Kamis. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk untuk mengetahui pengaruh Puasa Sunnah Senin Kamis terhadap Kadar Glukosa darah pada penderita Diabetes Melitus Tipe II di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kota Kabupaten Bantaeng Tahun 2023. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan desain quasi experimental pre-test and posttest with control group design. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara mendalam menggunakan kuesioner dan lembar observasi. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik nonprobability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling sebanyak 32 pasien terdiri dari 16 orang kelompok ekperimen dan 16 orang kelompok kontrol. Analisis data menggunakan uji Wilcoxon. Penelitian dilakukan pada bulan November - Desember 2023. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesudah dilakukan intervensi dengan nilai p=0.000. Sedangkan pada kelompok kontrol tidak terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan sebelum dan sesuah pengukuran gula darah sewatu dengan nilai p=0.254. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah Puasa Sunnah Senin Kamis dapat menurunkan secara signifikan Kadar Glukosa Darah pada kelompok eksperimen dibandingkan kelompok kontrol di Wilayah Kerja Puskesmas Kota Kabupaten Bantaeng. Abstract Diabetes mellitus has become a chronic disease that has dominated morbidity and mortality rates in recent years. One alternative in managing Diabetes Mellitus is Sunnah fasting Monday and Thursday. This research aims to determine the effect of Monday and Thursday Sunnah Fasting on blood glucose levels in Type II Diabetes Mellitus sufferers in the Bantaeng Regency City Health Center Work Area in 2023. The method used in this research is quantitative with a quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test design—control group. The data collection technique uses in-depth interviews using questionnaires and observation sheets. The sampling technique used a nonprobability sampling technique with a purposive sampling method of 32 patients consisting of 16 experimental and 16 control groups. Data analysis used the Wilcoxon test. The research was conducted in November - December 2023. The results of this study showed that there was a significant difference before and after the intervention with a p-value = 0.000. Meanwhile, in the control group, there was no significant difference before and after measuring blood sugar at any time with a value of p = 0.254. This research concludes that Monday and Thursday Sunnah Fasting can significantly reduce blood glucose levels in the experimental group compared to the control group in the Bantaeng Regency City Health Center Working Area.
