JAHR is dedicated to publishing results of research and literature review from different areas of public health, which includes the study of Administration & Policy Health, Health Promotion and Behavior, Biostatistics, Public Health Epidemiology, Environmental Health, Public Health Nutrition, and Health & Safety work and others related determinants of illness. A valid and accepted scientific methodology must be applied. Journal of Aafiyah Health Research (JAHR) is published by the Postgraduate Program in Public Health, Universitas Muslim Indonesia. The publication is issued twice a year (June and December). JAHR encourages the submission of studies from developing countries, as research publication from developing countries is underrepresented in international journals. We welcome all of the students, experts, practitioners, and academicians who are interested in JAHR to submit their articles. The authors can submit articles by following the scheduled publication of JAHR. Articles are written in English or Bahasa Indonesia. Abstract

Abstract Background: Low back pain is the third most common musculoskeletal disorder after osteoarthritis and rheumatism. Low back pain is a disease that is often found in the community. Low back pain is often the cause of a person feeling a decrease in ability in daily functional activities. Physiotherapy is one of the rehabilitation programs for low back pain. Aim: The efficacy of physiotherapy can be influenced by several factors, namely age, economic status and education level. This study aims to determine the effect of physiotherapy on changes in pain values based on the economic status of patients with low back pain. Method: This study assessed the effect of economic status on changes in pain scores in 52 subjects. The study design was a retrospective cohort without a control group for three months. Data were obtained from medical records and questionnaires and analyzed by regression test with dummy variables. Results: Regression test analysis with dummy variables showed a significance value between economic status and changes in pain scores after three months of physiotherapy of P=0.035 (R²=0.125, p<0.05). This means that economic status has an effect of 12.5% on the average change in pain value after physiotherapy. Conclusion: There is an effect of economic status on the average value of changes in the pain value of low back pain sufferers. Changes in pain values are better in patients with low back pain with low economic status compared to high and middle economic status.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Bauran pemasaran merupakan jalan keluar bagi masalah pasien, biaya yang harus dikeluarkan oleh pasien, memperoleh pelayanan yang menyenangkan, nyaman dan komunikasi yang baik dari rumah sakit terhadap pelanggan. Maka dari itu rumah sakit perlu untuk mendisaign progam pemasaran agar produk/jasa memperoleh respond dan pasar sasaran dan berjalan sukses. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis pengaruh bauran pemasaran melalui kepuasan terhadap kepercayaan pasien berkunjung ke rawat inap RSUD Dr. La Palaloi Kabupaten Maros. Metode: Penelitian dilaksanakan di RSUD dr. La Palaloi Kabupaten Maros pada tanggal 01 s/d 20 Mei 2024. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua pasien rawat inap bulan Januari s/d Februari 2024 sebanyak 1124 orang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah sebagian pasien rawat inap sebanyak 68 orang dengan menggunakan pengambilan sampel secara Purposive Sampling. ABSTRACT Background: The marketing mix is a solution to the patient's problem, the costs that must be incurred by the patient, obtaining pleasant, comfortable service and good communication from the hospital to the customer. Therefore, the hospital needs to design a marketing program so that the product/service responds to the target market and is successful. Objective: To analyze the effect of marketing mix through satisfaction on patient trust in visiting the inpatient department of Dr. La Palaloi Hospital, Maros Regency. Method: The research was conducted at RSUD dr. La Palaloi Maros Regency on May 01 to 20, 2024. The population in this study were all inpatients from January to February 2024 as many as 1124 people. The sample in this study were 68 inpatients using purposive sampling. Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Pelayanan kesehatan merupakan upaya kesehatan yang diselenggarakan baik secara perorangan maupun berkelompok dalam suatu organisasi dengan tujuan untuk memelihara dan meningkatkan kesehatan, mencegah dan menyembuhkan penyakit, serta memulihkan kesehatan perorangan, keluarga, kelompok, ataupun masyarakat. Rumah sakit sebagai sarana pelayanan kesehatan merupakan tempat yang digunakan untuk menyelenggarakan upaya kesehatan dan memelihara, serta meningkatkan derajat kesehatan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui pengaruh mutu SDM terhadap tingkat kepuasan pasien di pelayanan rawat inap RS A. Makassau. Metode: Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan kuantitatif dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi pada penelitian ini 11.439, total sampel sebanyak 312 responden menggunakan teknik pengambilan purposive sampling dengan analisis regresi logistik. Hasil: Keandalan (reliability) (p=0,000<0,05), daya tanggap (responsiveness) (p=0,000<0,05), jaminan (assurance) (p=0,000<0,05), empati (empaty) (p=0,000<0,05), bukti fisik (tangibles) (p=0,014<0,05) terhadap kepuasan pasien dan jaminan (assurance) terhadap kepuasan pasien berdasarkan nilai exponent B (30,545). Kesimpulan: Ada pengaruh antara keandalan, daya tanggap, jaminan, empati, bukti fisik terhadap kepuasan pasien dan Jaminan yang paling berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan pasien, disarankan agar pihak RS untuk meningkatkan mutu pelayanan SDM berdasarkan kelima dimensi pelayanan kesehatan. ABSTRACT Background: Health services encompass the activities undertaken by individuals or groups within an organization to uphold and enhance health, prevent and treat diseases, and restore the well-being of individuals, families, groups, or communities. A hospital is a facility dedicated to providing health services and promoting the maintenance and improvement of health. Objective: The objective of this study was to assess the impact of the quality of human resources on the degree of patient satisfaction in the provision of inpatient care services at A. Makassau Hospital. Method: The research design employed was quantitative, utilizing a cross-sectional study approach. The population in this study consisted of 11,439 individuals, and the total sample size was 312 respondents. The study employed purposive sampling approach and conducted logistic regression analysis. Results: Reliability (p=0.000<0.05), responsiveness (p=0.000<0.05), assurance (p=0.000<0.05), empathy (p=0.000<0.05), and tangibles (p=0.014<0.05) significantly influenced patient satisfaction. Additionally, based on the exponent value B (30.545), assurance had a significant influence on patient satisfaction. Conclusion: There was a significant correlation between dependability, responsiveness, assurance, empathy, and physical evidence and patient satisfaction. Specifically, assurance was shown to have the greatest impact on patient satisfaction. As a recommendation, hospitals should enhance the quality of their human resource services by focusing on the five characteristics of health services.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Kinerja karyawan saat ini menjadi isu strategis karena memiliki pengaruh yang serius terhadap pelayanan baik di bidang ekonomi dan kesehatan. Terdapat beberapa faktor yang dapat mempengaruhi kinerja karyawan sebuah organisasi seperti Directiveness Leadership, Supportiveness Leadership, Participate Leadership, dan Organizational Commitmen. Kualita kinerja karyawan akan berbanding lurus dengan prestasi dan optimalisasi pelayanan di fasilitas kesehatan. Tujuan: Menganalisis hubungan Directiveness Leadership, Supportiveness Leadership, Participate Leadership dan Organizational Commitmen terhadap kinerja di RSU ST. Madyang Palopo. Metode: Penelitian dengan desain Cross sectional dan metode penelitian menggunakan analitik observasional. Teknik pengumpulan sampel yaitu purposive sampling untuk memperoleh data primer mengunakan kuesioner dari karyawan di RSU ST. Madyang Palopo dalam rentang waktu Agustus - September 2023. Hasil: 104 responden berasal dari berbagai unit kerja di RSU St. Madyang Palopo telah berpartisipasi. Rerata usia 29,9 tahun; sebagian besar berprofesi perawat; didominasi jenis kelamin perempuan. 104 responden menerapkan Directiveness Leadership dan Participate Leadership dengan yang baik. 102 pada Supportive Leadership, 100 pada Organization Commitment. Hasil uji menunjukkan terdapat hubugan signifikan antara keempat faktor tersebut terhadap kenerja karyawan. Kesimpulan: Directiveness Leadership, Supportive Leadership, Participate Leadership, dan Organizational Commitment memiliki hubungan yang signifikan positif terhadap kinerja karyawan di RSU St. Madyang Palopo. ABSTRACT Background: Workers' performance is currently a strategic problem due to its significant impact on economic and health services. Several elements can influence worker performance in an organization, including directiveness leadership, supportiveness leadership, participative leadership, and organizational commitment. Workers' performance will be directly proportional to the achievement and optimization of health-care services. Objective: To analyze the relationship between Directiveness Leadership, Supportiveness Leadership, Participate Leadership and Organizational Commitment on worker performance at ST. Madyang Palopo General Hospital. Method: Cross-sectional study design and observational analytics approaches were used. Purposive sampling was used to acquire primary data from employees at ST. Madyang Palopo General Hospital between August and September 2023, via a questionnaire. Results: 104 responders from various work units at St. Madyang Palopo General Hospital took part. The average age is 29.9 years; the majority are nurses, and the gender distribution is overwhelmingly female. 104 respondents demonstrated effective directiveness and participative leadership. 102 in Supportive Leadership and 100 in Organizational Commitment. The test results indicate a significant association between these four parameters and worker performance. Conclusion: Directiveness Leadership, Supportive Leadership, Participate Leadership, and Organizational Commitment have a significant positive relationship with worker performance at St. Madyang Palopo General Hospital.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Hipotiroid Konginetal merupakan penyakit yang banyak ditemui pada anak. Skrining dilakukan untuk melakukan deteksi dini terhadap bayi baru hari agar hipotiroid dapat segera diatasi sebelum anak berumur 1 bulan. Maka Skrining Hipotiroid Konginetal sangat penting untuk dilakukan. Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui bagaimana pengimplementasian Skrining Hipotirioid Konginetal di Kabupaten Pinrang ditinjau dari beberapa aspek yaitu Input, Proses dan Output yang ini ditinjau dengan Peraturan Menteri Kesehatan No. 78 Tahun 2014. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian quasi kualitatif dengan metode wawancara. Penelitian ini dilakukan di Kabupaten Pinrang dan waktu pelaksanaan pada bulan April - Juni 2024. Penentuan sumber data pada informan penelitian dilakukan secara purposive sampling. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari informan kunci, informan utama dan informan pendukung. Hasil: Skrining hipotiroid konginetal telah berjalan di Kabupaten Pinrang namun dalam pelaksanaannya permenkes no. 78 tahun 2014 belum diimplementasikan secara menyeluruh. Masalah utama dalam pelaksanaanannya adalah Petugas yang belum mendapatkan pelatihan yang memadai, kurangnya bahan medis habis pakai yang tersedia sehingga ada bayi yang tidak dapat diskrining, belum adanya SPO yang digunakan sehingga menyebabkan kurang maksimalnya pelaksanaan Skrining ini berdasarkan Permenkes No. 78 Tahun 2014. Saran: Diharapkan kedepannya Dinas Kesehatan Kabupaten Pinrang dapat berbenah dalam berbagai aspek agar pelaksanaan dapat sesuai dengan Permenkes yang berlaku dan semua bayi mendapatkan kesempatan yang sama untuk diskrining. ABSTRACT Background: Congenital hypothyroidism is a disease that is often found in children. Screening is carried out to carry out early detection of newborn babies so that hypothyroidism can be treated immediately before the child is 1 month old. So Congenital Hypothyroid Screening is very important to do. Objective: This research was conducted to find out how the Congenital Hypothyroid Screening is implemented in Pinrang Regency in terms of several aspects, namely Input, Process and Output, which are reviewed in accordance with Minister of Health Regulation No. 78 of 2014. Method: The type of research used is quasi qualitative research with interview method. This research was conducted in Pinrang Regency and the implementation time was April - June 2024. Determination of data sources on research informants was carried out by purposive sampling. Informants in this study consisted of key informants, main informants and supporting informants. Results: Congenital hypothyroid screening has been running in Pinrang Regency, but in its implementation health regulation no. 78 of 2014 has not been implemented comprehensively. The main problems in its implementation are officers who have not received adequate training, a lack of consumable medical materials available so that there are babies who cannot be screened, there are no SOPs that are not used, which causes the implementation of this screening to be less than optimal based on Minister of Health Regulation No. 78 of 2014. Suggestion: It is hoped that in the future the Pinrang District Health Office can improve in various aspects so that implementation can be in accordance with the applicable Permenkes and all babies get the same opportunity to be screened.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Setiap rumah sakit memiliki pegawai atau Sumber Daya Manusia (SDM) dengan kompetensi masing-masing yang nantinya membantu rumah sakit dalam mewujudkan visi dan misinya, termasuk Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD) Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle di Kabupaten Takalar. RSUD Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle merupakan salah satu rumah sakit dengan SDM yang cukup memadai, khususnya tenaga perawat. Terkait peningkatan kinerja dan produktivitas SDM, salah satu model ukur yang dapat digunakan didasarkan pada analisis pengaruh kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja melalui motivasi kerja. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis kinerja perawat di RSUD Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle berdasarkan pengaruh kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja melalui motivasi kerja. Metode: Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan rancangan Cross Sectional Study dan analisis data menggunakan analisis jalur untuk mengetahui pengaruh langsung dan tidak langsung variabel eksogen terhadap variabel endogen. Hasil: Menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh langsung terhadap kinerja maupun motivasi perawat. Begitu pun secara tidak langsung kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh terhadap kinerja melalui motivasi perawat. Kesimpulan: Kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja perawat baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung dengan faktor yang paling berpengaruh adalah kepuasan perawat melalui motivasi kerja pada taraf signifikansi 5%. ABSTRACT Background: Each hospital has employees or Human Resources (HR) with their respective competencies that will help the hospital in realizing its vision and mission, including the Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle in Takalar Regency. RSUD Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle is one of the hospitals with sufficient human resources, especially nurses. Related to improving HR performance and productivity, one of the measurement models that can be used is based on analyzing the influence of competence and job satisfaction through work motivation. Objective: To analyze the performance of nurses at RSUD Haji Padjonga Daeng Ngalle based on the influence of competence and job satisfaction through work motivation. Method: The research method used is quantitative research with Cross Sectional Study design and data analysis using path analysis to determine the direct and indirect effects of exogenous variables on endogenous variables. Results: Showed that competence and job satisfaction had a direct effect on nurse performance and motivation. Likewise, indirectly competence and job satisfaction affect performance through nurse motivation. Conclusion: That competence and job satisfaction have a significant effect on nurse performance both directly and indirectly with the most influential factor being nurse satisfaction through work motivation at the 5% significance level.

Abstract

Background: Stress that occurs in elderly people with hypertension will result in an increase in blood pressure, which will trigger hypertension. If stress is not treated immediately, it will trigger complications. The impact of stress on the elderly with hypertension greatly affects the quality of life, well-being, and self-care regarding medication compliance. Optimal treatment compliance is a contributing factor in controlling blood pressure in hypertension. Without medication compliance, taking anti-hypertension medication alone will not provide sufficient results in managing and controlling blood pressure. Aim: This study aims to determine the relationship between stress levels and compliance with taking anti-hypertension medication in elderly people in the Kassi Kassi Public Health Center, in Makassar Method: This is a quantitative study with a cross-sectional approach, the PSS-10 (Perceived Stress Scale), and MMAS-8 (Morisky Medication Adherence Scale) as questionnaire instruments, with a purposive sampling technique. The respondents in this study were 126 elderly people Results: Based on the results of statistical tests using the Spearman rank test and a significance level of α = 0.05, the p-value = 0.00 is smaller than α or 0.00 < 0.05, which means there is a relationship between stress levels and compliance with taking antihypertensive medication in elderly people in the Kassi Kassi Public Health Center, Makassar. Conclusion: It is concluded that there is a relationship between stress levels and compliance with taking antihypertensive medication in elderly people in the Kassi Kassi Public Health Center, Makassar.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Latar Belakang: Manajemen rumah sakit harus menyadari bahwa keberhasilan organisasi sangat bergantung pada sumber daya manusia yang berkinerja tinggi, termasuk dokter. Kepuasan kerja dokter di rumah sakit dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor, seperti faktor intrapersonal (usia, jenis kelamin, tingkat pendidikan), faktor interpersonal (konten pekerjaan, peran pemimpin, dukungan atasan), dan faktor organisasi. Tujuan: Untuk menganalisis faktor-faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap kepuasan kerja dokter di RSUD Lagaligo. Metode: Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan jumlah responden sebanyak 47 orang. Analisis data menggunakan analisis regresi linear berganda. Hasil: Penelitian ini meneunjukan bahwa Kompensasi (X1) dan (Directiveness Leadership X2) tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja (Y). (Supportiveness Leadership X3) , (Participative Leadership X4) dan Lingkungan kerja (X5) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dokter di RSUD Lagaligo. Kesimpulan: Variabel kompensasi dan Directiveness Leadership tidak berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dokter di RSUD Lagaligo. Supportiveness Leadership, Participate Leadership dan Lingkungan Kerja berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dokter di RSUD Lagaligo. Secara simultan, kompensasi, gaya kepemimpinan, dan lingkungan kerja memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja dokter di RSUD Lagaligo, yang konsisten dengan penelitian sebelumnya yang menyoroti pentingnya faktor-faktor ini. ABSTRACT Background: Hospital management must recognise that the success of an organisation greatly depends on high-performing human resources, including doctors. Doctors' job satisfaction in hospitals is influenced by several factors, such as intrapersonal factors (age, gender, level of education), interpersonal factors (job content, role of leaders, superior support), and organisational factors. Objective: To analyse the factors influencing doctors' job satisfaction at RSUD Lagaligo. Method: The research employed a quantitative approach with 80 respondents. Data analysis was conducted using multiple linear regression analysis. Results: The study revealed that Compensation (X1) and Directiveness Leadership (X2) do not significantly affect job satisfaction (Y). However, Supportiveness Leadership (X3), Participative Leadership (X4), and the work environment (X5) significantly affect doctors' job satisfaction at RSUD Lagaligo. Conclusion: The variables of compensation and Directiveness Leadership do not significantly influence doctors' job satisfaction at RSUD Lagaligo. Supportiveness Leadership, Participative Leadership, and the work environment significantly affect doctors' job satisfaction at RSUD Lagaligo. Overall, compensation, leadership styles, and the work environment significantly influence doctors' job satisfaction at RSUD Lagaligo, consistent with previous research highlighting the importance of these factors.

Abstract

Abstrak Implementasi dianggap sebagai wujud utama dan tahap yang sangat menentukan dalam proses kebijakan, untuk mengatasi permasalahan Stunting pemerintah telah menetapkan kebijakan percepatan penurunan stunting dengan fokus pada setiap upaya yang mencakup intervensi spesifik dan intervensi sensitive yang dilaksanakan oleh Tim Percepatan Penurunan Stunting (TPPS) Kabupaten, TPPS Kecamatan dan TPPS Desa. Hal ini sesuai dengan peraturan Bupati Pinrang No. 27 Tahun 2021 tentang perubahan atas peraturan Bupati nomor 21 Tahun 2020 tentang peran desa dalam pencegahan dan penurunan stunting. Oleh karena itu, peneliti termotivasi untuk memperoleh informasi yang akurat mengenai bagaimana peran desa dalam pencegahan dan penurunan stunting berdasarkan peraturan Bupati nomor 27 Tahun 2021 di desa Mattiro Tasi Kabupaten Pinrang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian jenis kualitatif deskriptif. Data di peroleh dari 8 informan melalui indepth-interview. Penelitian ini memberikan informasi terkait; Input di mana di jelaskan Peraturan bupati (regulasi), Sumber Daya Manusia dalam pencegahan dan penurunan stunting, Sarana dan prasarana pencegahan dan penurunan stunting, Sumber pendanaan. Proses dimana melihat tugas tim percepatan penurunan stunting, Peran desa, tanggung jawab, dan kewenangan pemerintah desa dalam pencegahan dan penurunan stunting, program khusus dalam pencegahan penurunan stunting, monitoring dan evaluasi dalam pencegahan dan penurunan stunting. Output yang terdiri dari angka prevalensi stunting turun dan sistem pelaporan dan pemantauan stunting dengan mengutamakan inovasi Kolase Pro Insting dan pemberian makanan tambahan tetapi di desa MattiroTasi dengan melibatkan peran serta masyarakat ke posyandu dapat meningkatkan capaian dan prevalensi stunting dapat menurun. Abstract Implementation is the main form and a decisive stage in the policy process. To overcome the problem of stunting, the government has established a policy to accelerate stunting reduction with a focus on every effort that includes specific interventions and sensitive interventions implemented by the Regency Stunting Reduction Acceleration Team (TPPS), TPPS District and Village TPPS. This follows Pinrang Regent regulation no. 27 of 2021 concerning amendments to Regent's regulation number 21 of 2020 concerning the role of villages in preventing and reducing stunting. Therefore, researchers are motivated to obtain accurate information regarding the role of villages in preventing and reducing stunting based on Regent's regulation number 27 of 2021 in Mattiro Tasi village, Pinrang Regency. This research is a descriptive qualitative type of research. Data was obtained from 8 informants through in-depth interviews. This research provides related information; The input explains the regent's regulations (regulations), Human Resources in preventing and reducing stunting, Facilities, and infrastructure for preventing and reducing stunting, and sources of funding. The process looks at the tasks of the stunting reduction acceleration team, the village's role, the village government's responsibility and authority in preventing and reducing stunting, special programs in preventing stunting reduction, and monitoring and evaluation in preventing and reducing stunting. The output consists of decreasing stunting prevalence rates and a stunting reporting and monitoring system that prioritizes Pro Instinct Collage innovation and providing additional food. However, in MattiroTasi village, by involving community participation in posyandu, achievement can be increased, and stunting prevalence can be reduced.

Abstract

Abstrak Latar Belakang: Rumah Sakit sebagai fasilitas pelayanan Kesehatan yang menyelenggarakan pelayanan Kesehatan perorangan Tingkat sekunder dan tersier secara paripurna sesuai dengan UU no.44 tahun 2009. Keselamatan pasien (patient Safety) adalah dasar dari pelayanan kesehatan yang baik. Keelamatan pasien juga menjadi salah satu indikator dalam menilai akreditasi intitusi pelayanan kesehatan, oleh karena itu keselamatan pasien sangatlah penting Tujuan: Untuk mengetahui hubungan beban kerja fisik perawat terhadap penerapan patient safety melalui Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) sebagai variabel moderator di RS Tk II Pelamonia Makassar. Metode: Penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis penelitian kuantitatif yang menggunakan studi observasional analitik dengan rancangan cross sectional study. Dengan populasi sebanyak 170 dan sampel sebanyak 118. Hasil: Hasil penelitian menggunakan analisis multivariat menunjukkan bahwa Pengaruh beban kerja fisik terhadap patient safety melalui Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) diperoleh nilai koefisien sebesar -0,111 dengan nilai p (0.025) < 0,05. yang artinya terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan. dan variable OCB merupakan variabel intervening pengaruh beban kerja fisik terhadap patient safety. Kesimpulan: Pengaruh secara langsung beban kerja fisik terhadap penerapan patient safety melalui perilaku organizational citizenship behaviour diperoleh nilai p = 0,025 yang artinya perilaku OCB merupakan variabel intervening terhadap hubungan antara beban kerja fisik dengan penerapan patient safety. Abstract Background: Hospital as a health care facility that organizes secondary and tertiary level individual health services in full accordance with Law no.44 of 2009. Patient safety is the basis of good health care. Patient safety is also one of the indicators in assessing the accreditation of health care institutions, therefore patient safety is very important. Objective: To determine the relationship between nurses' physical workload on the implementation of patient safety through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) as a moderator variable at Tk II Pelamonia Hospital Makassar. Methods: The research used is a type of quantitative research that uses an analytical observational study with a cross sectional study design. With a population of 170 and a sample of 118. Results: The results of the study using multivariate analysis showed that the effect of physical workload on patient safety through Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB) obtained a coefficient value of -0.111 with a p value (0.025) <0.05. which means there is a significant effect. and OCB variables are intervening variables on the effect of physical workload on patient safety. Conclusion: The direct effect of physical workload on the implementation of patient safety through organizational citizenship behavior obtained a p value = 0.025, which means that OCB behavior is an intervening variable in the relationship between physical workload and the implementation of patient safety.
