Abstract

It is essential for both non-profit and for-profit organizations to maintain sustainable performance. Innovation functions as a crucial performance metric in attaining outstanding results. This study represents a distinctive contribution to the topic of entrepreneurship by concentrating on its use within religious non-profit organizations. The Catholic Archdiocese of Jakarta, situated in Indonesia, possesses a historical legacy spanning nearly two centuries. Throughout its history, the Catholic Church has faced numerous internal and external challenges and dynamics. Priests function not just as spiritual leaders but also as catalysts for innovation within their own parishes. This article analyzes the impact of innovations introduced by parish priests on the Church's performance, based on interviews with 19 parish priests in leadership positions. Furthermore, it examines the tactics utilized by these priests to surmount problems faced in metropolitan regions. This study will underscore the importance of innovation and present new research opportunities for scholars, social managers, and practitioners in this field of study.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of carbon dioxide (CO₂) emissions and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) on the financial performance of transportation companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2018–2023 period. Financial performance is measured using Return on Asset (ROA) as the dependent variable, while carbon emissions and CSR serve as the independent variables. The study employs a quantitative approach using panel data regression with a common effect model. A total of 15 transportation companies were selected through purposive sampling, resulting in 90 balanced panel data observations. The results show that carbon emissions do not have a significant effect on ROA, indicating that environmental issues are not yet a primary concern in the business strategies of transportation companies. Conversely, CSR has a negative and significant effect on ROA, which may be due to the high costs of CSR implementation that have not yet generated short-term financial returns for the companies. The R-squared value of 5.68% indicates that the model explains only a small portion of the variation in financial performance. These findings highlight the importance of fully integrating sustainability strategies to create long-term value for companies.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the condition and financial performance of the company for capital suppliers, to control internally, to carry out effective planning and supervision, and as a guideline for improvement efforts and further improvement of the company's performance. Especially in the companies that are being researched, it turns out that they still do not use EVA analysis as an analysis that will be able to determine whether the profits obtained from 2014 to 2023 can create added value to the company or not. The financial data used for this study was taken for six (10) years, from 2014 – 2023. The data of this study was obtained from observation and documentation with NOPAT analysis tools, capital costs, and EVA analysis. The results of this study show that using the EVA (Economic Value Added) method in the research year has been able to provide economic added value for the company, as evidenced by the results of the EVA>0 calculation is of positive value.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to design and build a website that provides information about spiritual objects in the Saint Luke Parish Catholic Church in Samarinda, with the hope of making it easier for the congregation to access the information. The method used in developing this website is the Waterfall method. This process includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. Each stage is carried out sequentially to ensure that all aspects of the website can function properly. The results of this study indicate that the website that was built can provide accurate and easily accessible information about spiritual objects. In addition, this website is also equipped with features that make it easy for users to search for and obtain the information they need. The original value of this study lies in the development of a website that is specific to the needs of the Saint Luke Parish Catholic Church in Samarinda, which does not yet have an adequate digital platform to convey information about spiritual objects. This website is expected to be a useful source of information for the congregation and increase their involvement in church activities.

Abstract

This study aims to determine “The Effect of Entrepreneurial Skills and Experience on Barbershop Business Success in Medan Sunggal District”. Where entrepreneurial skills are success in practicing the abilities acquired by an entrepreneur in terms of applying knowledge and good personal qualities to carry out entrepreneurial activities, experience is the knowledge that entrepreneurs have gained through a series of business activities that have been carried out, while business success is a situation where a business is at a better point than the previous situation and in that position the business has been able to achieve the expected goals. This study adopts a causal associative quantitative research type. The data used in this study is primary data so that data collection is done by distributing research questionnaires to 35 Barbershop businesses in Medan Sunggal District using saturated sampling techniques. Based on the results of the partial test (t test) it is concluded that partially entrepreneurial skills have a positive and significant effect on business success and partially experience has a positive and significant effect on business success. Based on the results of the simultaneous test (F test) it is concluded that simultaneously entrepreneurial skills and experience simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on the success of the Barbershop business in Medan Sunggal District. In the coefficient of determination (R2) test, it can be seen that the Adjusted R Square value is 0.592. Thus describing that the value of the variance owned by the business success of the entrepreneurial skills and experience variables is 59.2% and the remaining 40.8% is influenced by other variables or factors not examined and not explained in this study.

Abstract

The beauty industry specifically the consumption of skincare products, has undergone a significant transformation which impacted by Korean Culture (Hallyu). In Indonesia, this transformation has become a trend that affected the lifestyle of teenage girls in choosing their skincare. This study is designed to investigate the consumption pattern of Korean skincare on teenage girls by highlighting the possible factors that impacting the purchase. This research applies the qualitative phenomenological approach, involving six informants aged 18-21 years in Mataram City, West Nusa Tenggara. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and analyzed using condensation techniques, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings reveal that teenage girls consumption of Korean skincare is influenced by three main factors such as appearance needs, promotional effects, and risks anticipation. Teenage girls perceive skincare as part of their self-image and confidence; while social media and influencers play the main roles to introduce and promote the product. Although they are affected by trends, they remain selective by considering product compatibility with their skin type and reading user reviews before making a purchase. The study concludes that Korean skincare consumption among teenage girls is not solely driven by aesthetic considerations but also by awareness of product safety and quality. These findings have implications for the beauty industry, particularly in developing experience-based marketing strategies and providing more in-depth consumer education for the purchasers.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh Ketidakpastian Lingkungan dan Strategi Pemasaran terhadap Peningkatan Penjualan dengan Pengalaman Kerja sebagai variabel moderasi menurut perspektif Maqashid Syariah. Dengan 900 populasi konsumen pada UMKM Serabi Solo Rosonuman Way Halim di Bandar Lampung dan menggunakan perhitungan rumus Taro Yamane atau Slovin didapatkan sampel sebanyak 90 responden konsumen UMKM Serabi Solo Rosonuman dalam pengolahan data. Data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner dan wawancara dengan uji data pada aplikasi SmartPLS yang menggunakan uji validitas, reliabilitas, multikolinearitas, r-square, dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ketidakpastian Lingkungan memiliki pengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Peningkatan Penjualan. Sementara Strategi Pemasaran memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Peningkatan Penjualan. Selain itu, Pengalaman Kerja terbukti memoderasi dan memperkuat Ketidakpastian Lingkungan terhadap Peningkatan Penjualan dan Pengalaman Kerja terbukti memoderasi dan memperlemah Strategi Pemasaran terhadap Peningkatan Penjualan. Penelitian ini memiliki literatur terkait usaha mikro, kecil, dan menengah dalam konteks manajemen pemasaran dengan perspektif maqashid syariah agar pendapatan yang dihasilkan memiliki hasil yang sesuai dengan syariah Islam.

Abstract

Salah satu fenomena yang mencerminkan evolusi ini adalah influencer marketing, yang merupakan strategi di mana merek bekerja sama dengan individu yang memiliki pengaruh besar di media sosial untuk mempromosikan produk mereka kepada audiens yang terhubung secara online. Influencer marketing menawarkan cara baru untuk membangun hubungan yang lebih langsung dan personal antara merek dan pelanggan, yang memungkinkan mereka untuk membeli barang dan jasa yang mereka inginkan, yang merupakan bagian penting dari pemasaran digital 5.0. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mempelajari bagaimana influencer marketing berfungsi sebagai strategi pemasaran dalam era Pemasaran Digital 5.0. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah untuk memahami bagaimana influencer marketing dapat membantu merek mencapai tujuan pemasaran mereka, mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi keberhasilan kampanye influencer marketing, dan mempelajari bagaimana teknologi canggih seperti kecerdasan buatan dan analitik big data dapat mempengaruhi bagaimana kampanye influencer marketing berhasil. Untuk mempelajari peran influencer marketing dalam konteks Pemasaran Digital 5.0, pembahasan ini akan mengaitkan hasil penelitian dengan landasan teori yang telah dibahas sebelumnya. Fokus utama pembahasan adalah bagaimana strategi influencer marketing dipengaruhi oleh teknologi canggih seperti analitik big data dan kecerdasan buatan (AI), serta kesulitan dan peluang yang terkait dengan pelaksanaannya. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa salah satu strategi yang efektif dalam Pemasaran Digital 5.0 adalah influencer marketing, yang memanfaatkan teknologi modern untuk meningkatkan interaksi antara pelanggan dan merek. Untuk memaksimalkan manfaat influencer dalam mempertahankan integritas merek dan membangun engagement yang kuat, diperlukan kewaspadaan etika dan strategi pengukuran yang tepat, meskipun influencer menawarkan banyak peluang.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the relationship between organizational culture and work engagement with teacher performance at SMK Negeri Indralaya Selatan District. This study uses a quantitative method. The population studied was all 88 teachers. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires with a Likert scale, and documentation. Validity and reliability tests were carried out to ensure that the research instrument was reliable and could be used to measure teacher performance. The results of the study showed that organizational culture had a significant effect on teacher performance. From data analysis using the t-test, it was found that there was a strong relationship between the two independent variables and teacher performance. This study provides in-depth insight into the factors that influence teacher performance, organizational culture and work engagement are important elements in improving the effectiveness of teaching in this school. The conclusion of this study is that an increase in organizational culture and work engagement can have positive implications for teacher performance, so it is important for schools to pay attention to these aspects in an effort to improve the quality of education.

Abstract

The issue of youth unemployment and the limited access to entrepreneurship education in rural areas forms the background for the conceptual development of Intanpari.app, an online-based entrepreneurship learning platform in Karanganyar Regency. This study employs a qualitative exploratory approach grounded in conceptual study, using data collection techniques that include systematic literature review and exploratory interviews with key informants.The findings indicate an urgent need for the transformation of entrepreneurship education into a more flexible, adaptive, and practice-based digital format. The identified user needs highlight the importance of providing contextual learning modules, virtual collaborative spaces, and simple business planning tools. Based on the analysis, a conceptual framework for Intanpari.app was developed, which is expected to expand access to entrepreneurship education, enhance practical skills among youth, and strengthen the local economic ecosystem. These findings enrich the literature on technology-based entrepreneurship education and provide a direction for further development through prototype creation and field testing.
