Abstract

This research aims to understand the public value of road infrastructure maintenance in Cirebon City. This research is of a quantitative descriptive type. The findings of the study show (1) that the maintenance of road infrastructure in Cirebon City has been effectively implemented. The community's assessment of road maintenance in Cirebon City based on their answers, views, knowledge, and attitudes shows satisfaction. (2) Public value is the government's public value to the community in serving the community correctly and being satisfied with the service system from the government, getting the quality that customers or consumers want is satisfied with what they want. How can the community assess the services provided. (3) The highest average value of the public value is indicator 10, which is related to "many road infrastructures that are only left damaged and not in order" which obtained an average value of 0.94% which is on the criteria that are quite good. While the smallest indicator is indicator 5, which is related to "whether the maintenance of road infrastructure is in accordance with what has been planned" with an average value of 0.73%, which is included in the category of quite good.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how the preferences of Gen Z female consumers in purchasing skincare products based on the marketing messages they receive. The data collection technique in this study is to conduct observations and conduct in-depth interviews with Gen Z women who are actively using the product skincare. The results of the study show that the cognative stage, namely product knowledge and brand awareness, plays a crucial role in strengthening consumers' understanding of the existence of skincare products and their benefits. The conative stage is the endpoint in the purchase decision-making process, where consumers have formed a positive belief in skincare products. Effective marketing communication, especially through social media and collaboration with influencers or other user reviews, has a significant impact on shaping consumer preferences and guiding their purchasing decisions. This study can help skincare companies to develop a more effective marketing strategy that is in line with the preferences and purchasing behaviors of today's young consumers.

Abstract

Legal protection of witnesses and victims in criminal cases is an important aspect of the Indonesian criminal justice system. This is due to the crucial role of witnesses and victims in assisting law enforcement and achieving justice for victims. However, legal protection for witnesses and victims in Indonesia still has weaknesses, with many cases remaining undisclosed due to a lack of adequate evidence. This study aims to analyze normative ideas regarding legal protection for witnesses and victims in criminal cases. The research method used is the normative juridical method. The data collection technique in this study involves a literature study. The data analysis used in normative law research is qualitative analysis. The results of the study show that normative ideas are needed to strengthen legal protection for witnesses and victims in criminal cases. These ideas include strengthening the legal foundation through expanding the scope of protection, strengthening protection institutions, increasing public awareness, reforming the criminal justice system that focuses on developing a victim-centered justice system, and the use of technology in legal protection for witnesses and victims. Through the strengthening of legal protection, it is hoped that witnesses can give important testimony without fear, which ultimately supports the creation of a fair legal system and provides effective legal protection for all Indonesian citizens.

Abstract

Bridges are a very important infrastructure in a country. Bridges function as links between roads cut off by one obstacle, such as valleys, rivers, lakes, and irrigation canals. In this paper, the author will model the planning of the bridge understructure using Revit Software as a form of BIM technology. The modelling that will be carried out includes bridge abutments and piles as foundations. The material used in modelling the lower structure of the bridge in this article is concrete. As a result, the completed modelling can be viewed with details such as 3D view, top view, side view, front view, and also dimensions. So, it can be concluded that the use of BIM technology is very helpful and makes it easier for engineers to implement a construction project.

Abstract

Jalan Majalengka-Rajagaluh is a road located in several sub-districts that is a link to the city and one of the connecting roads to Cirebon City. This design planning began in Cigasong sub-district and continued to Rajagaluh sub-district with a length of 5.3 kilometers on the Majalengka-Rajagaluh road. The results of the geometric design are visualized in the form of drawings using AutoCAD 2D. The design speed (Vd) is set at 60 km/h with a horizontal curve radius of 358 m, a maximum slope of 4%, and an elevation (e max) of 8%. Based on this design criterion, a spiral curve with a circular arch length (Lc) of 74,996 m was obtained. Furthermore, the results of the calculation of the vertical alignment of the length (L) of one type of convex curve in the PPV are also calculated.

Abstract

Building Information Modeling (BIM) represents a transformative approach to architectural design and construction management globally (Babalola, 2023). The construction industry is increasingly recognizing BIM's potential to mitigate project risks, improve cost estimation accuracy, and enhance regulatory compliance. This study highlights how BIM can enhance predictive maintenance, lifecycle cost analysis, and sustainability metrics in bridge infrastructure. Revit's BIM framework empowers engineers to innovate, streamline workflows, and deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions that meet evolving societal needs. The research methodology employed in this study involves systematically collecting data from online sources and using Revit for practical application. The combination of data from Google Scholar and practical application through Revit enhances the robustness and applicability of the research findings. Embracing BIM in bridge pier planning not only enhances project efficiency but also sets a benchmark for future advancements in civil engineering practices.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality of Lake Batur which aims to maintain the preservation of Lake Batur as a form of sustainable tourism in Bangli Regency. In this study, there are three sample points, namely in Songan Village, Toya Bungkah and Kedisan Village. In this study, it will be analyzed through 11 parameters analyzed, namely temperature, odor, taste, color, pH, nitrate, BOD, DO, total phosphate, total coliform and fecal coliform. In this test, the method used is the STORET method, and in the analysis of the strategy used for pollution control using the SWOT method. Based on the results of the STORET calculation, the sample in Songan Village is included in the category of light pollution with a value of -4, the sample of Kedisan Village all indicators meet the Class 3 Water Quality Standard, and at the sample point in Toya Bungkah is included in the category of light pollution with a value of -8. The indicator that has a value exceeding the Class III Water Quality Standard, namely at the sample location of Songan and Toya Bungkah Villages, is the BOD level. So that the recommended strategy for its management based on SWOT analysis is to optimize the Strengths and Opportunities owned by Lake Batur, namely developing tourism around the lake which is based on sustainable development and in line with regular lake rejuvenation efforts carried out to maintain the balance of lake water quality by the community and the surrounding government.

Abstract

Cost overrun is a phenomenon that often occurs in the construction of a construction project. The purpose of this study is to analyze the main factors causing cost overrun in project XYZ based on the results of sensitivity analysis to the variables that form RAP. The results show that the cost element of subcontractors has a very large effect on the total RAP of the subcontractor, and the most dominant work affecting is steel work and panel sandwich work. The RAP weight of the work that affects the RAP is between 22.84% and 43.39%, followed by panel sandwich works and bridge steel work. It is recommended that PT X evaluate the performance of each related bureau, especially the estimating and engineering bureaus, in calculating RAP analysis and considering potential long-term risks.
