Abstract

This study examines the relationship between self-efficacy and mental toughness with futsal athlete performance through a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). From 15 scientific articles analyzed, it was found that self-efficacy, a player's belief in their own abilities, plays a crucial role in improving motivation, decision-making, and persistence during matches. Meanwhile, mental toughness helps athletes manage stress, recover from failure, and maintain focus amidst the fast-paced and intense dynamics of futsal play. The interaction between the two strengthens a player's ability to perform optimally in stressful competitive situations. This study emphasizes the importance of developing psychological training programs that integrate self-efficacy and mental toughness to maximize futsal athlete performance. Furthermore, further research is needed to examine the influence of these psychological variables across different cultural contexts, genders, and levels of competition.

Abstract

Dental health education is a crucial preventive measure in shaping healthy lifestyle behaviors from an early age. The success of education depends not only on the content of the material, but also on the effectiveness of the media and methods used to convey the message in an interactive and easily understandable way to children. This study aims to determine the changes in the index before and after education on how to brush teeth at Global Mandiri Kindergarten. This was a pre-experimental study with a one-group pretest–posttest design involving a total sample of 57 kindergarten B students. The intervention consisted of education on the purpose of brushing teeth, choosing the right toothbrush, brushing techniques (roll technique), brushing duration, and the use of fluoride toothpaste. The debris index was examined before and after the interactive education with the Playstore GigiKuHartaKu program. Results: Examination before the education showed a moderate to poor debris index category. After the intervention, there was a change in the debris index category to good and moderate. There was a significant decrease in the debris index from 2.11 to 0.711, with a p-value of 0.001 (p<0.05). Conclusion: The intervention, in the form of interactive and structured dental education, significantly improved dental hygiene in young children. These findings reinforce the importance of promotional education in the school environment as the foundation for long-term healthy living behaviors.

Abstract

Asbuton is a natural raw material that has great potential in the development of high-quality asphalt mixtures. To optimize its performance, this study explored the use of additives in the form of used oil and high density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic, which is considered to be able to increase the flexibility, adhesion, and stability of the mixture. The commonly used Marshall method is considered less representative in measuring the indirect tensile stiffness of mixtures which is important for assessing elastic response, so Indirect Tensile Stiffness Modulus (ITSM) testing is used to obtain a more comprehensive picture of the performance of asbutone mixtures. This study uses an AC-BC mixture where the Asphalt content is in a combination of Modified Asphalt (MO) and Oil Asphalt (MI), this modified asphalt uses Asbuton which is given an added ingredient of used Oil and HDPE Plastic, this study uses KAO of 6.0% of the total weight of the test object, from the percentage of this KAO combined with 3 compositions of Asphalt mixture, namely Modified Asphalt with Oil Asphalt. Namely 40% Modified Asphalt: 60% Oil Asphalt, 50% Modified Asphalt: 50% Oil Asphalt, and 60% Modified Asphalt: 40% Oil Asphalt, resulting in consecutive ITSM values of 6124 Mpa, 6286 Mpa, and 6738 Mpa. From these results, it can be concluded that with the increase in the composition of modified asphalt, it increases the rigidity of the test specimen.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the effectiveness of art therapy (drawing) in reducing anxiety and testing the role of growth mindset in improving therapy outcomes. Anxiety was measured using the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAM-A), while growth mindset was assessed using the Mindset Assessment Profile (MAP). The study used an experimental design with two groups: an experimental group that followed art therapy (drawing) and a control group that did not receive therapy. The results of the analysis showed a significant decrease in anxiety in the experimental group, with an average decrease of 10 points on the HAM-A scale (p < 0.05). A significant negative correlation was found between an increase in growth mindset and a decrease in anxiety in the experimental group (r = -0.62, p < 0.01). This research shows that art therapy can reduce anxiety, and growth mindset plays an important role in increasing the effectiveness of therapy. These findings recommend the integration of growth mindset in art therapy programs as well as the use of Mind Map Facilitators in deepening self-reflection and healing processes.
