Abstract

This study on Child Empowerment of Within Continuing Education at Masters School. This study has the purpose of knowing and investigating in more detail about the Children's Empowerment in Continuing Education at Master Depok School. This research was conducted using qualitative research approach with descriptive analysis methods and data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis of the Miles and Huberman models including Data Reduction, Data Presentation, and Conclusion Drawing or Verification. In the validity of the data using the technique of the observational and triangulation technique consisting of the technique and source. The results of this study found that street child education in Indonesia was an important issue, therefore Master Depok School in Rejoice to carry out Jalan Children's Empowerment in Continuing Education with several studies by Suharto, namely the level of awareness and desire to change, the level of ability to increase the capacity to obtain access, the level of ability to face obstacles, and solidarity. In the awareness level and desire to change are in teaching and learning activities, participation, swaps and sustainability. Obstacles to educational facilities and a lack of understanding of the transition of the three-learning curriculum to an independent curriculum in empowering can be resolved well together, then the student/i response is positive, they are very happy to be able to go to school again without thinking about educational costs. The building of Master's Depok School can create a chance to study in the street children and grow the spirit to achieve aspirations.

Abstract

Digital transformation has reshaped the challenges and strategies of managing national budgets. This era places transparency, accountability, integrity, and data security as its primary focus. The significance of transparency and accountability in the management of national finances, particularly through the adoption of information technology, presents opportunities to enhance the effectiveness of public services. However, these changes also bring ethical challenges, especially concerning data security. The success of digital transformation requires ethical leadership, an understanding of data security risks, and the implementation of stringent policies. The adoption of financial technology can expedite the digitization of public services, escalating the risks associated with data security and potential fraud. Therefore, strategic strategies are needed to ensure that budget management adheres to ethical principles and integrity. The active role of the government is crucial in ensuring that transparency and accountability remain top priorities. Concrete steps, such as interactive services through digital platforms, can increase public engagement. The importance of integrity and data security is acknowledged as a central point, with policies and practices supporting information security. Further research can explore the role of new technologies, such as artificial intelligence, in enhancing transparency and data security in the management of national budgets.

Abstract

This research aims to determine an effective flood disaster evacuation route in Jatiasih District. The research method used is quantitative descriptive and analyzed using the Geographic Information System (GIS) application. Determining evacuation points takes into account the distribution of settlements, road accessibility and public facilities. Processing evacuation routes using a network analyst based on the closest distance while still considering the condition of the road being traversed. Network analyst processing resulted in 14 evacuation routes connecting 14 initial assembly points (assembly points) with 7 evacuation points (shelter points). From the Network Analyst results and field survey results, it is known that the evacuation route with the longest route is a distance of 1293 meters, namely the route connecting the Al Awwabin Jami Mosque with the Jatiluhur Subdistrict office, while the evacuation route with the shortest route is a distance of 132 meters, namely the route connecting between the Al Fatah Jatiasih Mosque and SDN Jatiasih X. This flood evacuation route can be used as a reference in mitigating floods in Jatiasih sub-district and providing outreach to the community regarding community preparedness in facing floods.

Abstract

In the current digital era, technological advancements play a crucial role in addressing the challenges faced by society, particularly for Generation Z, who prioritize convenience and speed in communication. Social media platforms, especially TikTok, have become effective tools for promoting and preserving local cultures, including the Mask Dance from Cirebon. This research aims to assess the effectiveness of TikTok as a means of preserving the Topeng Mask Dance among Generation Z. The study employs a qualitative approach, utilizing data collection methods such as documentation, observation, and interviews. Data analysis is performed through content analysis, examining Generation Z's responses to the Topeng Mask Dance on TikTok. The findings indicate that TikTok is highly effective in increasing the visibility and recognition of the Topeng Mask Dance among Generation Z. The interactions reveal positive engagement from users who show a high level of interest in informative content. This research recommends collaborating with dance experts to develop creative ideas through digital platforms to ensure the continued preservation of cultural heritage. Therefore, TikTok serves not only as a source of entertainment but also as a vital tool for preserving and introducing local culture to the younger generation, thereby strengthening national identity amid globalization.

Abstract

Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Timur menerapkan program JATIM BEJO (Jawa Timur Belanja Online) sebagai langkah inovatif percepatan transaksi layanan digital pengadaan barang/jasa melalui optimalisasi pemanfaatan E-Marketplace. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas program JATIM BEJO dalam pengadaan barang/jasa pemerintah di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Timur. Teori yang digunakan adalah efektivitas program oleh Sutrisno (2010) yaitu pemahaman program, ketepatan sasaran, ketepatan waktu, ketercapaian tujuan dan perubahan nyata. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Pengumpulan data diperoleh melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pertama, pemahaman program masih perlu ditingkatkan untuk mencapai kesatuan paham dalam program JATIM BEJO. Kedua, ketepatan sasaran aktor pengadaan yang kurang memadai secara kapasitas dan kuantitas untuk melakukan pengadaan secara mandiri. Ketiga, ketepatan waktu memerlukan konsistensi dalam melaksanakan belanja barang/jasa sesuai dengan RUP. Keempat, beberapa kendala yang ditemukan dapat diatasi dengan baik, sehingga tujuan program tercapai. Serta, perubahan nyata dalam penerapan program JATIM BEJO perlu sumber daya yang adaptif dan infrastruktur sistem informasi dalam mendukung pengadaan barang/jasa secara elektronik dengan optimal. Oleh karena itu, dapat disimpulkan bahwa efektivitas program JATIM BEJO dalam pengadaan barang/jasa pemerintah di Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Timur belum efektif secara keseluruhan.

Abstract

Misconceptions refer to understandings that do not align with scientifically accurate concepts. Identifying misconceptions is essential for enhancing learning effectiveness. This study aims to develop a Four-tier Diagnostic Test instrument to identify students' misconceptions regarding lithosphere dynamics in senior high schools in Cianjur Regency. The research employs the 4D development model with the Rasch Model, consisting of four stages: define, design, develop, and disseminate. However, this study is limited to the identification stage. The sampling technique used random sampling, with a total sample of 440 students from five senior high schools. The Four-tier Diagnostic Test instrument was validated using the Rasch Model, with Outfit MNSQ values ranging from 0.66 to 1.37 and Outfit ZSTD values from -2.90 to 2.90. The instrument’s reliability, measured by Cronbach’s Alpha, was 0.74. The level of students’ misconceptions varied, with School P having the highest misconception rate at 32.4%, while School N had the lowest at 17.1%. Among subtopics, exogenous forces had the highest misconception rate at 29%, whereas tectonic processes had the lowest at 6.3%. In conclusion, the Four-tier Diagnostic Test is an effective instrument for identifying students' misconceptions regarding lithosphere dynamics.

Abstract

The aim of this research is: To obtain an overview of the research-based learning development and implementation model to improve creative thinking skills and collaborative skills in students of the Social Sciences Education Study Program. The research method that will be used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. The subjects in this research were IPS students from the Class of 2022 and 2023 who took Physical Geography and Indonesian Regional Geography courses for one semester. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, literary studies and questionnaires. The research results state that the implementation of student research learning is through observation/practicum activities which aim to be a means of thinking innovatively, connecting theory with practice, and producing ideas that are relevant to social challenges. This is integrated with the Semester Learning Plan (RPS) for several courses by allowing students to go out into the field as a condition for passing courses. The results of the observations/practicum are in the form of activity reports that are recorded, video reports that are uploaded to the study program's YouTube, and published in several scientific journals.

Abstract

Flooding is one of the natural disasters that often hit East Jakarta City. In the context of disaster preparedness, students' knowledge and attitude are very important. This study aims to identify the influence of students' knowledge on flood preparedness in public high schools in East Jakarta City. In addition, this study also wants to explore the influence of learners' attitudes on disaster preparedness, and analyze the relationship between knowledge and attitudes in the context of preparedness. In this study, cluster random sampling technique was used with a total of 311 students. Data collection methods included observation, tests, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation studies. To analyze the data, various techniques were used, including testing of research instruments, prerequisite analysis, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis testing. The results showed that the knowledge about flooding possessed by public high school students in East Jakarta City can be categorized as high, reaching 82%. This includes understanding, application, analysis and evaluation. Meanwhile, students' attitudes in dealing with flood disasters are in the medium category, at 76%, with components of accepting, responding, appreciating, and being responsible. Learners' preparedness is also in the moderate category with a percentage of 70%, which includes disaster risk knowledge, emergency response plans, disaster warning systems, and resource mobilization. From the analysis of the coefficient of determination (R²), an R² value of 0.544 was obtained. This shows that knowledge and attitude have an influence of 54.4% on disaster preparedness.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the implementation of a history research class at SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta that utilizes the development of critical thinking skills to build student character. This research uses a qualitative method with a case study at SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, observations, and document analysis. Sampling was done by purposive sampling involving subjects such as history teachers and some grade X students; then analyzed using the interactive model data triangulation technique. The results showed that the systematic implementation of history research classes was intended to provide students with a deeper understanding in a practical way. In addition to introducing regional identity, the use of local history of Yogyakarta Special Region as a learning resource can also accelerate knowledge transfer. Interestingly, history teachers at SMA Negeri 9 Yogyakarta try to update Kuntowijoyo's research method by presenting digital sources to reconstruct historical events. In addition to fulfilling the six indicators of critical thinking skills, the implementation of history research classes also internalizes character education. This research implies that the development of critical thinking skills in history learning has a positive impact on student character building. The results of this study can be useful as an alternative reference regarding the history learning model.

Abstract

Pergerakan Sesar Cugenang mengakibatkan terjadinya bencana gempa bumi di Kabupaten Cianjur, maka perlu dilakukan rehabilitasi sebagai bagian dari penanggulangan bencana. Rehabilitasi bencana terbagi menjadi pemulihan dan rekonstruksi. Pemulihan merupakan fungsi penanggulangan keadaan darurat yang dilakukan oleh negara, masyarakat, keluarga, dan individu. Penelitian ini mencoba mendeskripsikan karakteristik kepemimpinan daerah dalam rehabilitasi bencana gempa bumi Cianjur khususnya bagian pemulihan melalui teknik studi pustaka seperti artikel jurnal, tesis, disertasi, dan buku serta berbagai sumber lain yang terkait dengan topik penelitian. Peran pemimpin daerah dalam pemulihan bencana gempa bumi Cianjur antara lain memfasilitasi kerjasama antara masyarakat dengan pihak terkait dalam menerima bantuan; menjaga kerukunan antar masyarakat untuk mencegah terjadinya konflik sosial; serta menjaga dan mengembangkan ketersediaan sumber daya di masyarakat untuk melakukan pemulihan. Peran pemimpin daerah dan upaya pemulihan pasca bencana terjadi sangat diperlukan. Identifikasi peran tokoh masyarakat dapat dikolaborasikan dengan strategi rehabilitasi khususnya seksi pemulihan di Kabupaten Cianjur karena tokoh masyarakat merupakan pribadi yang dipercaya oleh masyarakat, memahami kondisi lingkungan, mengetahui berbagai permasalahan, potensi dan ketersediaan sumber daya masyarakat khususnya di Kabupaten Cianjur. Strategi pemulihan yang dapat dilakukan oleh lembaga pemerintah maupun non pemerintah dan didukung oleh peran tokoh masyarakat antara lain melaksanakan pembangunan rumah bagi masyarakat; memberikan bantuan berupa subsidi dana dan barang serta memberikan pelatihan pengembangan kapasitas melalui penguatan modal sosial masyarakat untuk mengurangi kerentanan terhadap bencana; menciptakan layanan terapi penyembuhan aspek psikologis dan menyediakan fasilitas kesehatan gratis untuk kesehatan mental dan fisik.
