Abstract

This study aims to formulate an appropriate strategy to increase sales for Gerai Multiekspres, a delivery service company in Indonesia. This research employed a qualitative case study method. Data were collected through document review, interviews, and observations. The analysis was conducted using several strategic management tools, including the Internal Factor Analysis Summary (IFAS), External Factor Analysis Summary (EFAS), Strategic Position and Action Evaluation (SPACE) matrix, and Internal-External (IE) matrix. The IFAS and EFAS calculations showed a score of 2.83 for strengths, 0.33 for weaknesses, 2.25 for opportunities, and 0.70 for threats. The SPACE matrix analysis indicated that Gerai Multiekspres is in quadrant I with a positive SW (Strengths, Weaknesses) value of 2.50 and a positive OT (Opportunities, Threats) value of 1.55. Furthermore, the IE matrix analysis showed that Gerai Multiekspres is in Cell I with a total weighted score of 3.15 for IFAS and 2.95 for EFAS. The findings suggest that Gerai Multiekspres should pursue an aggressive growth strategy, given its dominance of strengths and opportunities, as well as a favorable position in the SPACE and IE matrices

Abstract

A systematic evaluation of the environmental regulations that apply to emerging pollutants at the international level, with a particular focus on Indonesia, is to be conducted. The search for articles and documents was conducted according to the PRISMA statement (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses) in databases including PubMed, Scopus, ScienceDirect, Jane’s, Dimensions, Google Scholar, and the Comprehensive System of Standards and Evaluation of the Indonesian Ministry of the Interior. A total of 3089 documents were examined, and based on the inclusion, exclusion, and quality criteria, two tables were created: the first comprising 24 scientific publications and the second containing 7 Indonesian standards. The regulation of developing contaminants is a crucial matter that necessitates the involvement of many sectors, including political, economic, social, and environmental domains. To achieve this, it is essential to coordinate the government and society while taking into account the experiences of other nations for its execution. The challenges related to access to information and educational programs significantly affect compliance with environmental standards, and there is a paucity of scientific knowledge regarding this topic

Abstract

Social media has become a primary space for content creators to express ideas, share information, and build communities. However, digital communication practices often ignore local wisdom values amid globalization. This study aims to develop a communication ethics model for content creators with an approach to Bugis-Makassar's local wisdom values. Values such as "sipakatau" (mutual respect), "sipakalebbi" (mutual glorification), and "sipakainge" (mutual reminder) are identified as relevant ethical foundations for creating dignified and inclusive communication on social media. With a qualitative approach, this study integrates literature analysis, in-depth interviews with local content creators, and observations of communication practices on social media. The study results indicate that applying Bugis-Makassar local wisdom in digital communication strengthens cultural identity and builds trust and solidarity in online communities. The proposed communication ethics model underlines the importance of balancing individual expression and social responsibility in creating meaningful and culturally valuable content. This research is anticipated to serve as a resource for content creators to integrate local values into digital communication practices, thereby contributing to the preservation of local culture in the context of globalization

Abstract

In recent decades, the development of construction technology has produced two main approaches in the implementation of transportation infrastructure projects, namely traditional and modern construction methods. The selection of an efficient construction method affects the project's duration and impacts the construction's cost, quality, and environmental impact. It aims to analyze and compare the efficiency of the implementation time of transportation infrastructure projects between traditional and modern construction methods and identify differences in the cost of implementing transportation infrastructure projects using traditional and contemporary construction methods. Evaluate the quality of construction results and the environmental impact of traditional and modern construction methods in transportation infrastructure projects. This research method is by reviewing journals, books, reports, and scientific articles related to the efficiency of traditional and modern construction, conducting case studies on transportation infrastructure development projects, both conventional and contemporary, involving experts, contractors, or project managers to gain in-depth insight into the construction efficiency of the two methods, using questionnaires to collect data from various transportation development projects, comparing traditional and modern construction methods. From all that, it produces real examples of contemporary construction efficiency, which can be seen in the construction of toll roads or bridges with advanced Technology, where technologies such as drones, IoT sensors, and BIM (Building Information Modeling)-based design software significantly increase work effectiveness. On the other hand, traditional construction is still used in remote areas or low-complexity projects that do not require advanced Technology. Therefore, choosing the right construction method must consider the scale of the project, its complexity, and the final goal to be achieved
