Abstract

Traditional games have long been a means of children's play and have been passed down from generation to generation. Traditional games are beneficial for children's physical and mental development. This traditional game is classified as a means of entertainment, a means of competition, and a means of education. Traditional games have many forms, including clog games which of course have educational value that can be utilized by children. Bakiak itself has a deep philosophical meaning, which means it reflects the social and cultural values that exist in society, especially in the Gowa Regency area, within the Inpres Lambengi Elementary School environment. There are several philosophical meanings that can be taken from playing clogs. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that by using traditional games, material processes, relational processes and behavioral processes can be found when making the Bakiak game as a game for learning media. Among these three processes, the material process is very dominant. This shows that clogs tend to be described as a physical sport carried out in groups and a good learning medium for students at SD Inpres Lambengi in instilling character values

Abstract

The Industrial Revolution 4.0 has changed the marketing models used by business actors, especially MSMEs (Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises). By 2022, 21.8 million MSMEs had gone digital, utilizing the internet and online media. Savana Adventure, which acts as a partner, is an MSME involved in outdoor equipment rental, located at Jl. Banteng Utama II No. 82 C, Banteng, Sinduharjo, Ngaglik, Sleman, Yogyakarta. This MSME was founded in 2018 by three individuals who share a background as nature enthusiasts. Its main products include equipment for mountain climbing, camping, outbound activities, off-roading, and trail running. The partners also collaborate with various parties, such as other outdoor equipment providers, camping sites, tour guide services, and mountain climbing guides around Yogyakarta, to expand the range of services offered to consumers. Currently, the partners are facing challenges in marketing, particularly online. The large number of competitors in the same business sector makes it difficult for them to attract new customers. Despite various online marketing efforts, the impact has been minimal and not fully optimized. Therefore, there is a need for additional efforts to support the existing online marketing, such as creating a website. A website can enhance online marketing activities, build a strong brand image in the community, and facilitate communication between partners and consumers

Abstract

The rise of online gambling in society is increasingly concerning. The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) found that financial transactions related to online gambling reached IDR 101 trillion until the first quarter of 2024. Raids carried out by the authorities often catch online gambling perpetrators not only adults but also teenagers. The method used in this community service activity is to conduct presentations in delivering materials and interactive discussions with participants. The activity results show that most teenagers gamble online because they start with curiosity and want to know. Hence, they decide to try it first until they finally become addicted. This community service activity is one of the activities that support the Aceh Government's efforts to eradicate gambling activities, especially in the West Aceh Region. The results of this activity are expected to provide awareness and early prevention for teenagers so that they do not fall too far into activities that are not beneficial and have many negative effects that will ultimately hinder the productivity of teenagers

Abstract

The lack of nationalistic activities on Independence Day is often a major obstacle in building a sense of love for the homeland among rural communities. Remote geographical conditions, inadequate infrastructure, and uneven levels of education make this challenge even more real. One example that shows a decline in the spirit of nationalism in welcoming the commemoration of Independence Day is the community living in Cirumpak Village, Kronjo District. This is indicated by the lack of preparation of the community in welcoming Independence Day compared to urban communities. Bina Bangsa University through a community service program in the form of Student Work Lectures consisting of students and lecturers initiated to re-cultivate the spirit of nationalism for the community living in the village with one approach strategy, namely through organizing activities that are educational, participatory, and entertaining, but still have a strong national content value with the aim of increasing the sense of love for the homeland among rural communities. Starting from the planning stage, implementation of activities, to evaluation which shows that this activity was successfully implemented in accordance with the expected targets and objectives. As many as 78.33% of the 30 respondents stated that they were satisfied or happy with the activity, while around 64.44% of respondents indicated that this activity had a positive impact in increasing the spirit of nationalism

Abstract

Majelis Al Kautsar, located in Desa Pangabuan, Kecamatan Ciwandan, Cilegon City, serves as a center for religious activities. This majelis also functions as a place for religious education, particularly for teaching the Quran to children living in the surrounding area. However, a challenge that persists in Quranic education is the lack of deep understanding among children regarding the correct application of tajwid rules. Children attending the study sessions tend to recite the Arabic letters without correctly applying the rules of tajwid. This initiative aims to provide education on tajwid and proper Quranic pronunciation and reading according to tajwid rules. The method used in this tajwid training involves direct face-to-face teaching, where children at Majelis Al Kautsar receive structured theoretical and practical instruction. The results of this initiative indicate an improvement in the ability to read the Quran correctly in accordance with tajwid principles

Abstract

The existence of Bina Bangsa University through KKM – PKM activities needs to be felt for its benefits, especially for the people of Gunung Sugih Village, Cilegon City. This is a concern for the service team because there are still many elements of the community that need to contribute to improving community welfare, one of which is PKK women in Gunung Sugih Village, Ciwandan District, Cilegon City.  The purpose of this service program is to increase insight and skills as an entrepreneurial provision for PKK women in Gunung Sugih Village through the manufacture of spice tea made from turmeric, ginger, lemongrass and galangal.               The methods used in this service are 1) the preparation stage (input), 2) the implementation stage (production process) and 3) monitoring, observation, evaluation and reporting of the results.               The result of this service is input, conducting a survey to find out the environmental conditions around Gunung Sugih village. Then conduct socialization to PKK women in the Gunung Sugih environment. Next is a feasibility study on the business that will be run by providing a seminar on new business start-ups through the spice tea business. The last stage is the selection of materials and the provision of places as well as facilities and infrastructure to support the production process. The process (production), the process of making spice tea starts from the preparation of ingredients and tools until the product is ready to be marketed. Output, which is the result of spice tea drinks that are ready to be consumed and marketed to consumers. The last is evaluation, which is that this stage is carried out when the production of spice tea products has been completed. At this stage, we will review the shortcomings that make consumers uncomfortable with our products. The conclusion of the KKM - PKM program can provide skills to PKK women to remain innovative and creative in processing the business of herbal tea spices that have become a characteristic of Indonesia, provide opportunities for PKK women to practice entrepreneurship with a comprehensive understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship, and build the spirit of PKK women to continue doing business

Abstract

This study utilized a comprehensive dataset containing demographic, economic, and health-related variables from a community survey to identify significant predictors of poverty incidence among households. The analysis involved preprocessing steps such as missing value imputation, categorical variable encoding, and irrelevant feature removal. Dimensionality reduction was performed using Principal Component Analysis (PCA) to retain 95% of the dataset's variance, simplifying the feature space for subsequent modeling. Logistic Regression, Random Forest, and Support Vector Machine (SVM) models were evaluated, with Logistic Regression further refined via Grid Search CV to optimize regularization strength and penalty type. The best-performing Logistic Regression model achieved an accuracy of approximately 71.43% and an ROC-AUC of 64.44%. Key components influencing poverty predictions were traced back to original features, highlighting the roles of occupational types, health practices, disaster risk reduction, community support, and educational opportunities. These findings provide valuable insights for policymakers and community planners aiming to mitigate poverty, demonstrating the impact of socioeconomic factors, health, and education on poverty levels

Abstract

Budget plan and implementation schedule are certainly important parts of project management. Constraints in preparing budget plan and implementation schedule will cause other constraints, for example in the bargaining process it will be difficult to reach a deal price if there is no specific price reference that is right and there can also be a unenough budget in the future. Therefore, socialization in the form of short course to foremen, construction workers need to be given so that they can know or refresh their knowledge about the stages of making a Cost Budget Plan and Scheduling. Foremen also get new ways or tips through the presentation of the stages of making a Cost Budget Plan and Scheduling and expect further guidance on the constraints they encounter later. Making a Cost Budget Plan and Scheduling in project implementation, both on a small and large scale, is a reference in negotiating and controlling project costs and time, and the need for basic knowledge about determining the dimensions of structural elements of the building before calculating the work volume.
